Strategi Pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak dalam Menanamkan Sikap Tanggung Jawab Santri Kelas VII MTs Nurul Ikhlas Sidoarjo

Instilling a sense of responsibility is the process of educating students to understand and carry out their obligations to themselves, others, and the environment. Teacher role models are very important, because students tend to imitate positive behaviors that they observe. Students can internalize a sense of responsibility as a habit. The purpose of this study was to analyze the learning strategy of aqidah akhlak in instilling a sense of responsibility in class VII students at MTs Nurul Ikhlas Sidoarjo. The research method used was qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing concslusions. The informants in this study were the Principal of MTs Nurul Ikhlas Sidoarjo on behalf of Nurul Rochmawati, S.Pd, the teacher of aqidah akhlak for class VII, namely Solikin, S.Pd, class VII students on behalf of Muhammad Mukhlash Miqdaad. The results of the study showed that teachers play a central role in guiding students by implementing four main strategies: role models, habits, motivation, and punishment. The instillation of a sense of responsibility is seen from the behavior of students in completing assignments, maintaining environmental cleanliness, and obeying school regulations. Through the implementation of this strategy, it is hoped that students can internalize good moral values ​​and apply them in everyday life, thus forming a responsible character.

Investigating Teacher Performance in Character Building Students: a Case Study of Teaching and Learning at an Elementary School in Indonesia

Objective: This study aims to investigate the performance of teachers in the formation of student character through the implementation of learning in elementary schools. Theoretical Framework: Primary schools are the initial foundation for building the character of students. If character cultivation fails to be carried out at the elementary education age stage, the character instilled in students will inevitably be less than optimal. For that, the theory used is an approach a communitarian ethos refers to a method of school organization that promotes the formation of deep emotional relationships between children and instructors as well as professional staff relational trust. Method: The method used is a qualitative method with the type of case study. The research data collection techniques were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Results and Discussion: The results of this study reveal three findings, namely: 1) What character values are taught, and 2) How are character values taught by teachers in schools from the perspective of teachers, students, and parents? This finding has important meaning for academics, practitioners, and policymakers, in how character education is applied in schools. Research Implications: Researchers for teachers can be used as a source of guidance for better behavior in accordance with the expected characteristics so that they can become good examples for their students. Principals and teachers should remind each other to continuously assist students in guiding, motivating, directing, and educating their students to maintain good character in the school, family, or community environment. Originality/Value: This study is one of the references for teachers to be used as a reference to behave better in accordance with the expected character. This study is also important for the Principal to remind the teacher's responsibilities and obligations in order to form students with character.

Identifikasi Kesulitan Belajar Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Kelas XI MAS Al Jam’iyatul Wasliyah 22 Tembung

This research aims to identify students' learning difficulties in learning Indonesian in class XI MAS Al Jam'iyatul Wasliyah 22 Tembung. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subjects were class XI students, selected purposively. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show that the learning difficulties experienced by students include four main aspects: (1) listening difficulties (2) speaking difficulties (3) reading difficulties (4) writing difficulties. Factors causing learning difficulties include lack of motivation to learn, minimal mastery of vocabulary, and less varied learning methods. This research recommends using more interactive and contextual learning methods to improve students' understanding of Indonesian language material. In addition, teachers are expected to be able to provide more intensive guidance to overcome students' learning obstacles, so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally.

Dissemination of Indonesian Nasionalism and Islamic Religiosity Trough Podcast

This study aims to identify and explore the values of Pancasila in the content of Habib Jafar’s podcast on Deddy Corbuzier’s Youtube channel. The qualitative study uses a media observation study approach. The subject matter in this study uses Pancasila values as the theory of analysis. The research data was obtained through documentation techniques. As for data analysis, it is obtained through the stages of data reduction, presentation and verification. This study confirms the existence of dimensions of Pancasila values in the content of Habib Jafar’s podcast, including the value of divinity in building tolerant religious awareness, the value of humanity in realizing a harmonious life, and the value of unity in strengthening diversity. The findings of this study confirm that there is a relationship between Islam and statehood in building the social life of Indonesian people who are tolerant in religion and state. The shortcomings of this study do not know the impact of podcast content on audiences, such as changes in attitudes that are in accordance with the values of Pancasila.

Development of Islamic Akidah Education in Facing the Era of Society 5.0

This study explores the development of Islamic creed education in the era of Society 5.0, focusing on technology integration and the challenges faced. The method used is qualitative, with a case study analysis of several Islamic educational institutions and interviews with educators and parents. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies to understand the application of technology in creed education and its impact on the teaching and learning process. The results show that technology integration in Islamic creed education provides significant benefits in increasing the accessibility of teaching materials, enriching teaching methods, and facilitating better interaction between teachers and students. Technologies such as mobile applications, e-learning platforms, and visual aids have expanded the way teaching materials are delivered and made it easier for students to understand the concepts of the creed. However, significant challenges arise from resistance to change, concerns about negative impacts on Islamic values, and the need for educators to be trained to utilize technology effectively. This research emphasizes the importance of a careful and planned approach to integrating technology so that Akidah education remains relevant and aligned with religious principles while accommodating technological developments.

Pura Mangkunegaran dan Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta sebagai Sarana Wisata Edukasi Sejarah

Mangkunegaran Temple and Surakarta Kasunanan Palace as Historical Education Tourism Facilities This article discusses Pura Mangkunegaran and Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta as historical education tourism destinations in Surakarta City. In this activity, a qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The keraton, which serves as the residence of the king and the center of government, holds significant historical value. The results show that both keraton have museums that are highly potential as historical education tourism attractions. Additionally, each keraton has its own unique characteristics that can serve as an attraction for visitors. Overall, the activity concludes that historical education tourism aims to enrich visitors' knowledge and understanding of history. Surakarta City, with Pura Mangkunegaran and Keraton Kasunanan, offers two complementary historical education tourism destinations, with similarities and differences related to their origins, royal titles, and the historical collections housed in the museums..

Analysing the role of the perceptual dimension in the formation of the urban third place

Urban third places like parks, plazas, and cafes play a significant role in fostering social interaction, community engagement, and a sense of belonging in contemporary society, and this recognition is growing. It has been a subject of critical analysis across multiple disciplines and intellectual traditions. Although the term 'Third Place' has been the subject of considerable research for some time, a sensible investigation into the psychological needs of users broadens the study's scope, adding a new dimension to the research. This study's perceptual dimension focuses particularly on an individual's perceptions of the built environment of the urban third place. It deals with how people perceive and experience these places. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the contribution of the perceptions that users generate in the formation of urban third places. Research begins with an understanding of this term and its significance in an urban environment. The theoretical approach interprets a perceptual dimension by analysing an individual's 'Sense of Place' in relation to the urban third place. A projective survey questionnaire further explores the concept. We decipher the qualitative observations of the survey using Nvivo, a software tool that supports both descriptive and inferential statistical inferences. The consideration of age versus the diverse perceptual needs of the users explains the interrelationship while making it convenient for the statistical analysis of the study's observations. As a result, this research examines the significance of associations, identifies dominant perceptions, and analyses the possible patterns of the same across the identified age groups of the sample population. A statistical analysis of these observations offers insights to designers, planners, and policymakers in terms of prioritising users' experiences, needs, and preferences, i.e., sense of place, to accommodate the contemporary needs of the users in the practice of urban design at the human scale.

Is early use of sodium-glucose cotransporter type 2 inhibitor (SGLT2i) necessary even in diabetic patients without cardiovascular disease: a prospective study regarding the effect of SGLT2i on left ventricular diastolic function

BackgroundThere are insufficient studies to determine whether sodium-glucose cotransporter type 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) will help reduce early diabetic cardiomyopathy, especially in patients without documented cardiovascular disease.MethodsWe performed a single center, prospective observation study. A total of 90 patients with type 2 diabetes patients without established heart failure or atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease were enrolled. Echocardiography, cardiac enzyme, and glucose-control data were examined before and 3 months after the administration of SGLT2i (dapagliflozin 10 mg per day). Cardiovascular risk factors included hypertension, smoking, obesity, dyslipidemia, and old age. The primary end point was the change of E/e’ before and after administration of SGLT2i.ResultsMost patients (86.7%) had three or more cardiovascular risk factors, and about 32% had all five risk factors. Although the decrease in E/e’ after the administration of SGLT2i was observed in 20% of enrolled patients, there was no significant difference in average E/e’ value or left atrial volume index before and after the SGLT2i medication. Even in patients with all known risk factors including old age, E/e’ value did not decrease after adding SGLT2i (8.9 ± 2.4 vs. 8.7 ± 3.2). There was a statistically significant difference in E/e’ change after the SGLT2i administration between patients younger than 60 years and those older than 60 years (–0.7 ± 2.2 vs. 1.1 ± 2.8, P = 0.002).ConclusionsIn type 2 diabetes patients without documented cardiovascular disease including heart failure, administration of SGLT2i showed no improvement in diastolic function profile. Further large-scale randomized studies are needed to determine who will benefit from potential cardiovascular events with early addition of SGLT2i.

Autonomy support in prenatal consultation: A quantitative observation study in maternity care.

Maternity care professionals need to guide women through an increasing number of decision-making processes during pregnancy. Professionals tend to focus more on providing information than on decision support. According to the self-determination theory (SDT), professionals could help women make their own choices by fulfilling their three basic psychological needs: autonomy, competence, and relatedness through autonomy-supportive interactions. This study aimed to quantify autonomy-supportive and autonomy-thwarting interactions that professionals use during prenatal consultations and their association with women's perceptions of the healthcare climate during consultations. A quantitative observation study with a cross-sectional design was conducted in the Netherlands from March to October 2020. Twenty-three maternity care professionals in 2 hospitals and 16 midwifery practices were purposefully sampled. During 104 prenatal consultations, professional interactions were audiotaped and coded using the Coding and Observing Need-Supportive Consultation in Maternity Care Consultations. The woman's perceived healthcare climate was assessed using the Healthcare Climate Questionnaire. We observed that professionals derive their autonomy-supportive interactions from a small repertoire. They tend to use more autonomy-supportive interactions (mean=2.31, SD=0.58) that give room to the woman than interactions that stimulate active engagement (mean=1.41, SD=0.80). During structuring interactions, they tend to use more informative (mean=1.81, SD=0.59) than supportive interactions (mean=0.94, SD=0.55). Women generally perceived the healthcare climate as positive. Women were rarely stimulated to be actively engaged in the consultations, while active woman engagement is vital in offering women-centered decision-making support. Professionals could improve their autonomy-supportive consultation climate by paying explicit attention to interactions involving women and offering structure.

Automation of Remote Laboratory Device Configuration File Management

This study develops a Python-based configuration file management application to automate backup and recovery of network devices in the Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana laboratory, which uses Cisco and Mikrotik devices. The goal is to understand the impact of automation on the effectiveness of backup and recovery, support for remote configuration file management, reduction of recovery time, and its impact on operational sustainability. The Waterfall method is applied with the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation, using network topology data, device information, and network protocols collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. Testing includes scenarios of full and partial backup and recovery, error handling (credentials, lost files, unresponsive devices), and FTP server and database failure conditions on a network topology consisting of four identical blocks with Mikrotik routers and switches. The test results show that the application functions as expected, with all scenarios running smoothly without significant failures, including the ability to filter data according to parameters and detect credential errors. This system is concluded to have met the test objectives and is ready to be implemented.

Pre-disability resilience and well-being following the onset of functional impairments.

Tested the prospective relationship of a resilient personality prototype determined prior to disability onset to well-being among persons with and without debilitating functional impairments nine to 10 years later. A resilient profile was expected to predict well-being through its beneficial associations with positive affect, perceived control and social support. Longitudinal, prospective observation study. Data obtained from participants with no functional impairments at the first assessment of the Midlife in the United States (MIDUS) project and who participated in the second survey (1147 men, 985 women at Time 1). Cluster analysis was used to create personality profiles at the first time point. Differences between resilient and non-resilient individuals were examined. A structural equation model (SEM) tested the prospective effects of resilience on positive affect, perceived control and social support to well-being. A resilient personality profile was identified, as expected (n = 877). Individuals with a resilient personality prototype reported higher social support, positive affect, perceived control, life satisfaction and self-rated health at both measurement occasions than the non-resilient group. The SEM revealed that a resilient prototype operated through the three mediating variables to prospectively predict life satisfaction, and through social support and positive affect to predict self-rated health. These effects were independent of gender and disability severity. A resilient personality profile prospectively operates through positive affect, perceived control and social support to predict well-being following the onset of debilitating impairments. The theoretical and clinical implications of these findings are discussed, and limitations are considered.

Analysis of the Implementation of Policy and Integrated Transportation of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Medan City

This study aims to describe the Analysis of the Implementation of Policy and Integrated Transportation of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Medan City. The qualitative research method is also known as a method where the research is conducted under natural conditions. This research method is a scientific procedure or approach to obtain data with specific objectives. Data analysis is the process of systematically searching for and organizing data. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data obtained are then analysed through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study show that the Medan City Government is currently implementing significant development in urban mobility with two main activities: the development of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and the development of Kesawan and Merdeka Square areas. Both activities emphasize the importance of developing pedestrian and cyclist facilities while facilitating the people of Medan City in accessing public transportation. These efforts are positive actions taken by the Medan City Government toward the development of sustainable urban mobility while ensuring that all corners of Medan City can be reached by quality public transportation.

Metabolic bariatric surgery generates substantial, sustained weight loss and health improvement in a real-world setting.

To determine if the positive outcomes from clinical trials regarding the safety and efficacy of metabolic bariatric surgery are reproducible at a national level. A longitudinal registry-based observation study with data collected from all persons undergoing metabolic bariatric surgery in Australia from 28 February 2012-31 December 2021 including data from 122,567 index patients who underwent 134,625 completed bariatric procedures. Defined adverse outcomes at 90-days (unplanned readmission, intensive care admission and re-operation; death), annual change in weight (percent total body weight loss (TBWL)), diabetes treatment and need for re-operation. 79.0% of participants were female. Mean age on the day of surgery was 44.0 years (SD 11.8; range 12.9-87.9 years) and mean BMI 41.7 kg/m2 (SD 7.6). At 5-years participants who underwent one anastomosis gastric bypass had TBWL 34.88% (SD 8.67%), roux-en-Y gastric bypass 30.73 % (SD 9.47%); sleeve gastrectomy 26.5% (SD 10.5%) and adjustable gastric bands 17.6% (SD 12.1%). At 90-days 3.6% of procedures recorded a defined adverse event. 13,904 (13.6%) primary participants reported being treated for diabetes at baseline. Pelaksanaan Konsep Merdeka Belajar pada Mata Pelajaran IPS di MTs Negeri 2 Medan

This research aims to find out: (1) planning for the implementation of the concept of independence in social studies subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan. (2) implementation of the concept of independence in social studies subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan. (3) evaluation of the implementation of the concept of independence in social sciences subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan. This research uses a qualitative approach with naturalistic methods, and the sample collection technique is carried out through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis uses data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique uses, (1) Credibility Test, (2) Transferability Test, (3) Dependability Test, (4) Corfirmability Test. The results of this research show: (1) Planning for the implementation of the independent learning concept in social studies subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan is going quite well. This is proven by providing outreach and training, creating learning tools, and conducting evaluations on teachers to ensure whether teachers are ready or not to implement the independent curriculum. (2) The implementation of the Independent Learning Concept at MTs Negeri 2 Medan was carried out quite well. Even though not all learning implementations are in accordance with the modules that have been created, this is because the independent curriculum is still very newly implemented at MTs Negeri 2 Medan, but the social studies teachers are quite creative and differentiated in making variations in teaching which makes students active, creative and critical. (3) Evaluation of the concept of independent learning in social studies subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan is going quite well as evidenced by data showing student scores above average based on the Learning Goal Achievement Kit (KKTP) at MTs Negeri 2 Medan.

Analisis Peran Digital Marketing terhadap Peningkatan Kunjungan Wisatawan di Pantai Bagedur Malingping

Bagedur beach in Malingping is one of the tourist destinations that has great potential to attract tourists. However, the lack of information makes tourist visits still a challenge. Digital marketing is now a strategic solution in promoting tourist destinations, including Bagedur Beach. This study aims to analyze the role of digital marketing applications in increasing tourist visits at Bagedur Beach. Through a qualitative method with a case study approach, data is collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the use of digital marketing applications, such as social media and online booking platforms, contributes significantly to the increase in tourist visits. This application not only helps in wider promotions but also in making it easier to access information for prospective tourists. The recommendation of this study is that tourism managers need to be more active in utilizing digital marketing applications to increase the attractiveness of tourist destinations.

Implementasi Business Model Canvas (BMC) dalam Perencanaan Strategi Pemasaran Kewirausahaan UMKM (Studi pada “Citra Oleh-Oleh Lampung” di Bandar Lampung)

This study aims to apply the Business Model Canvas (BMC) as a strategic tool in designing marketing strategies to increase the competitiveness and sales of Toko Citra Oleh-Oleh Lampung, an MSME engaged in the field of regional souvenirs. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and literature studies. Data analysis uses a thematic approach supported by SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the business. The results of the study show that the main elements in the BMC, such as Customer Segments, Value Propositions, and Channels, play a significant role in determining an effective marketing strategy. Lampung's typical products with local cultural values, distributed through physical and digital stores, and a focus on customer experience are the main advantages. However, the study also identified challenges, such as dependence on tourists and logistical constraints, which need to be addressed through product diversification, digital marketing optimization, and operational efficiency. This study provides a practical contribution to Toko Citra Oleh-Oleh Lampung in increasing its competitiveness in the local and national markets. In addition, the results of this study are expected to be a reference for other MSMEs in facing competition in the era of globalization. Suggestions for further research are to conduct a comparative study between MSMEs that implement BMC and those that do not, to show the effectiveness of this strategy in more depth.

Evaluasi Prospek Bisnis Start-Up Digital: Kajian Kualitatif Aspek Pasar, Teknis, Dan Manajemen

This research aims to evaluate the prospects of digital start-up businesses through a comprehensive feasibility analysis with a focus on three main aspects: market, technical and management. The study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. The research informants consisted of 15 digital start-up actors, 5 investors and 3 digital industry experts who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman technique including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that from a market aspect, digital start-ups have significant growth potential supported by increasing internet penetration and changes in consumer behavior towards digital. From a technical aspect, it was found that technological infrastructure and product development capabilities are critical factors in determining the success of a start-up. Meanwhile, from a management aspect, the competence of the founding team, monetization strategy, and ability to manage funding determine business sustainability. The main challenges faced include high customer acquisition costs, limited digital talent, and intensifying competition. This research provides theoretical contributions in developing a model for evaluating the viability of digital start-up businesses as well as practical implications for entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers in developing a sustainable start-up ecosystem. The limitation of this research lies in its limited geographic focus, so further research is recommended to expand regional coverage and conduct comparative analysis between digital industry sectors.

Exploring associations between the FTO rs9939609 genotype and plasma concentrations of appetite-related hormones in adults with obesity.

Associations between variants in the FTO locus and plasma concentrations of appetite related hormones are inconsistent, and might not work in a dose dependent fashion in people with obesity. Moreover, it is relevant to report meal related plasma concentrations of these hormones in persons with obesity given the growing interest in their pharmacological potential in obesity therapy. We find it clinically relevant to examine associations between the SNP rs9939609 genotypes and homeostatic appetite regulation in individuals with BMI ≥35 kg/m2. This study explored associations of the rs9939609 genotypes to plasma concentrations of acylated ghrelin, active glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1), and total peptide YY (PYY), and moderating effects of fat mass (FM), in 96 adults (69% female) with BMI ≥35 kg/m2, using a cross sectional observation study designed to have 1/3 of participants each with genotypes TT, AT and AA, respectively. Participants were median (25th, 75th percentile) 42.5 (32, 50) years of age, weighed 120.9 (109.6, 142.4) kg, and had a BMI of 42.8 (39.5, 46.4) kg/m2. Acylated ghrelin, active GLP-1, and total PYY were measured in the fasted state and half-hourly for 2.5h after a standardized meal. We evaluated associations between genotype and appetite hormones in regression analysis controlling for FM and sex. Genotype did not associate with fasting or postprandial (area under curve, AUC) GLP-1 or PYY. Genotype did not associate with fasting acylated ghrelin, but in females with genotype AA, increased FM was associated with higher fasting and postprandial (AUC) acylated ghrelin concentrations relative to genotypes TT (fasting p = 0.025; AUC p = 0.004) and AT (fasting p = 0.002; AUC p < 0.001). This novel finding warrants further investigation.

Model of Multisector And Multidimensional Approaches: An Effort to Stunting Prevention Education in Kuantan Singingi Regency, Indonesia

This study aims to determine how the multisector and multidimensional approach model is in efforts to prevent stunting in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method used qualitative descriptive approach. The selection of informants using a purposive sample of 5 people : 1 person from the Population Control, Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service (DP2KBP3A), 1 person Health Service, 1 person Health Center, 1 person the Stunting Acceleration Team (TPPS) and 1 person from the head of Posyandu. Data collection used in-depth interviews, participatory observation and documentation studies. Data analysis used qualitative analysis. The results showed that the multisector approach model was integrated from the central level, provincial level, district/city, external to village. Collaborating with the Education, Health, social, economic, agricultural, plantation sectors, etc. involving the central and regional governments, Community Institutions, community leaders and the general public. Multidimensional targets are mothers, toddlers, teenagers, prospective brides, pregnant women, children, and the elderly. The results show that stunting rates are decrease. Supporting factors are government support and an integrated stunting prevention education model with various sectors.
