The Influence of the Scientific Approach on Learning Motivation and Student Learning Outcomes on Algebra Material Grade VII MTsN 1 Bener Meriah

The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an influence impact of the Scientific approach on learning motivation and learning outcomes of class VII students. This research was conducted at MTsN 1 Bener Meriah on class VII students in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is experimental research with a Posttest-only Control Design design. Sampling was carried out using cluster sampling. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class VII-1 as the experimental class and class VII-5 as the control class. In the experimental class, learning with a scientific approach was given, while in the control class conventional learning was carried out. The research results were obtained by processing the data using the right-sided t test statistic. At a significance level of 5%, tcount = 2.70 and ttable = 1.67 were obtained. This shows that tcount> ttable. Meanwhile, for student learning motivation, it was analyzed based on student responses to the scientific approach. The score obtained was 3.35, which is classified as a very positive criterion. The results of this research indicate that there is a significant influence of the scientific approach on the motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics in class VII students of MTsN 1 Bener Meriah

Peningkatan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Melalui Bimbingan Belajar Matematika terhadap Siswa Kelas VIII MTsN 2 Banda Aceh yang Orang Tuanya Jarang Sekali Berkomunikasi dengan Sekolah

This aim of this study is to determine the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills through tutoring in mathematics for Grade-8 of MTsN 2 Banda Aceh whose parents rarely communicate with the school. This research is a case study as a method of qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were teacher, the second class of Grade-8 students of MTsN 2 Banda Aceh who were determined based on the results of the initial test. Two students who get the lowest scores with parents who were less able to direct their children to communicate to the school as well as at home as the subjects, and the parents of both students. Data collection methods in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that mathematical communication skills of the students are increased in many ways as the tutorial guided them. So, it can be concluded that t he tutorial significantly contribute to the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills.

Evaluation of Interactive Learning Through the Quizizz Application at MTsN 2 Payakumbuh City

This research is motivated by conditions that require educators to look for solutions to evaluate interactive learning by utilizing Android in the Industry 5.0 era. The quizizz application is a game-based and multi-game educational application that makes assessment using quizizz more fun because there are game elements in it. So that the use of this application is effective for use in learning assessment. The purpose of this writing is to identify an evaluation of interactive learning through the quizizz application at MTsN 2 Payakumbuh City. The research method presented is quantitative descriptive research using research techniques using questionnaires. The research subjects involved 30 students of MTsN 2 Payakumbuh City class VII 3. The findings of this research show that the average percentage of approaches in the Strongly Agree (SS) category is 23.86%, Agree (S) is 41.37%, Quite Agree (CS) at a percentage of 22.47%, Disagree (TS) at a percentage of 6.42%, Strongly Disagree (STS) at a percentage of 1.83%. The conclusion of this research shows that the Quizizz application media can improve student learning outcomes. The implications of this research indicate that there needs to be optimization in implementing the Quizzizz application on a larger scale, so that the data obtained is more accurate and the Quizizz application can be considered for use as an interactive learning evaluation tool that can be used via Android.

IMPROVING STUDENTS’ WRITING ACHIEVEMENT ON RECOUNT TEXT BY USING PHOTOGRAPH AT NINTH GRADE STUDENTS OF MTSN 1 MEDAN

<p>This research was aimed to find out the impact of using Photograph in improving the students’ writing achievement on Recount Text. The subject of this research was the ninth grade students of MTsN 1 Medan in academic year of 2020/2021 which consisted of 36 students. This research was conducted by using classroom action research, which used two cycles. Each of them consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data were obtained through quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data was obtained from tests including pre-test, post-test I, and post-test II. While qualitative data was obtained from observation sheet. The result of the data analysis showed that there was an improvement on the students’ reading achievement from each cycle. It was shown from the students’ mean score The precentage of students score in pre-test who got point up to 70 was 10 students and the improvement was about 27,8 %. The precentage of students score in post test 1 in cycle 1 who got point up to 70 was 25 students and the improvement was about 69,5 %. The precentage of students score in post test 2 in cycle 2 who got point up to 70 was 32 students and the improvement was about 88,9 % . AN ANALYSIS ON GRAMMATICAL ERRORS IN WRITING DESCRIPTIVE TEXT AT MTS NEGERI LABUHANBATU SELATAN

<p>Based on the findings and discussions in the previous chapter, the researcher concluded the type of errors are usually made by the second grade students of MTsN 2 Labuhanbatu using writing descriptive text, and the cause of errors made by the second grade students of MTsN 2 Labuhanbatu using writing descriptive text. The conclutions are as follows The type of errors are usually made by the second grade students of MTsN 2 Labuhanbatu using descriptive text. Based on the description in previos chapter, it can be concluded that the second grade of MTsN 2 still made the errors when the students were asked to a descriptive text. The types of errors made by the students on writing descriptive text are based on surface strategy taxonomy which are classified into omission, addition, misformation, and misordering. After counting the errors, the researcher found 35 total of errors consisting of 16 errors of omission, 8 errors of addition, The cause of errors made by the second grade students of MTsN 2 Labuhanbatu using writing descriptive text. After analyzing each types of errors found in descriptive text in students writing of the second grade of MTsN 2 Labuhanbatu, the researcher can find some causes of errors. They are interlingual and intralingual transfer. Interlingual transfer is errors that are influenced by the interference of users mother tongue. The users still apply Indonesian pattern into English when they translate the sentences. Then intralingual transfer occurs when students get difficulty learn the second language.</p>

The application of positive psychology in English learning for students of MTsN 3 Sleman

This community service (PkM) aims to introduce the concept of Positive Psychology (PP) theory into English learning classroom to junior high school students. The method used is through direct teaching and training in the classroom over the course of four meetings. The teaching is carried out in several sessions consisting of material delivery on psychological factors of learning, easy steps to write, the application of positive psychology in relation to learning English, and the theory of writing in English. The teaching series was attended by grade 8 students at MTsN 3 Sleman whose English language skills were relatively low. The result obtained from this community service is that students can apply positive psychology theory in classroom by writing a gratitude journal as the main outcome.

Pengaruh Motivasi Belajar dan Disiplin Belajar terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS pada Kelas VII MTsN 2 Bogor

This study aims to determine 1) There is a significant influence between learning motivation on social studies learning outcomes in class VII MTsN 2 Bogor. 2) The significant influence of learning discipline on social studies learning outcomes in class VII MTsN 2 Bogor. 3) The significant influence of learning motivation and learning discipline together on social studies learning outcomes in class VII MTsN 2 Bogor. This research is a quantitative research with a survey method. The population in this study were all class VII students of MTsN 2 Bogor for the 2022-2023 academic year, totaling 320 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Test the validity of the instrument using product moment correlation and reliability test using alpha crombach's formula. Analysis prerequisite tests include normality tests, linearity tests and multicollinearity tests. The data analysis technique used is simple and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) there is a significant influence between learning motivation on social studies learning outcomes after the coefficient of determination test is carried out, the R square value is 0.973 or 97.3%. This means that the learning motivation variable has a significant effect on social studies learning outcomes of 97.3%. 2) There is a significant influence between learning discipline on social studies learning outcomes. After testing the coefficient of determination, the R square value is 0.962 or 96.2%. This means that the learning discipline variable has a significant effect on social studies learning outcomes of 96.2%. 3) Based on the results of the determination test, the correlation value (R) between learning motivation and learning discipline on social studies learning outcomes is 0.989. This shows a correlation between learning motivation and learning discipline on social studies learning outcomes, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.977 or 97.7%. Thus the variables of learning motivation and learning discipline have an influence on changes in social studies learning outcomes by 97.7%, while the remaining 2.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
 

Manajemen Layanan Perpustakaan Madrasah dalam meningkatkan Minat Baca Peserta Didik di MTs Negeri 10 Jember

The purpose of writing this research is to describe the management of library services through mobile libraries at MTsN 10 Jember as strengthening students’ interest in reading, describing the management of madrasa libraries through planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating processes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection instruments in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research were students of MTsN 10 Jember, librarians from the Jember Archives and Library Service. The research results show that Madrasah Library Service Management is something that motivates students to write works entitled Love Poems for My Prophet and Longing for Family Heaven. Apart from the madrasa library, there are other benefits gained from using the mobile library, namely increasing students’ knowledge, insight and abilities, teachers taking an active role in accompanying students, teachers are happy to see students enthusiastic about reading.

Istikhdām Namudhaj al-Ma’raḍ al-Māshi (Gallery Walk) li Ta’līm al- Tarākib fī al-Madrasah al-Thānawiyyah al-Islāmiyyah al-Ḥukūmiyyah 3 Agam

<p><em>The problem in tarkib learning (structure) is the lack of student motivation and interest in learning because teachers use traditional learning models that center on the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine how tarkib learning with the Gallery Walk model, its effectiveness, and how students respond to tarkib learning using the Gallery Walk model at MTsN</em><em> </em><em>3</em><em> </em><em>Agam. Researchers use experimental methods with True Experimental Design. The research instruments were a post-test test and a questionnaire. The population of this study was all seventh-grade students of MTsN 3 Agam in the 2022-2023 school year while the research sampling technique was Simple Random Sampling. Research results: (1) Students share thoughts and discussions about tarkib, pour it on large paper, and then stick it on the wall of the classroom. Then the group goes around while the speaker stays in the group to explain the results of the group to visitors who continue to return to their respective groups and explain it to the speaker of the group. (2) The Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.032 is smaller than 0.05 and the results of the t-count value (2.190) and t-table (1.998). The t-count is greater than the t-table, so the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. (3) Analysis of student responses showed (a) 85.31% of students were interested in the Gallery Walk model (very positive response) (b) 86% of students stated that the Gallery Walk model was useful (very positive response) and (c) 86.25% of students' desire to use the Gallery Walk model in other lessons.</em></p>

The Practicality of English Material Integrated with Islamic Values for the Eighth-Grade Students of MTSN

This research intends to continue previous research that skipped the implementation stage of ADDIE model in developing teaching modules that are integrated with Islamic values, especially for English material. The implementation phase in this research aims to determine the practicality of the module that has been developed. This research used explanatory mixed method design, where the quantitative data are collected first and are more heavily weighted by the qualitative data. The sample of this research is the eighth-grade students (class 8B, 8C, 8D) at MTs Madani Pao-Pao with total are 89 students. The score results of the practicality checklist shows that the module is categorized as practical, which means the module can improve student’s understanding of the material that has been taught, and the module can be used as a source in the learning process. Therefore, it implies that the module can be used as a learning media in learning process and can be useful for teachers, students, and other people who study English, especially for greeting card, recount text, and describing person and thing material.

The Effectiveness of using Quizlet as digital learning to improve vocabulary mastery of junior high school students

The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using Quizlet as a digital learning medium to improve the vocabulary mastery of junior high school students. This study applied a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test. The population of this study consisted of the 8th-grade students of MTsN 1 Kota Makassar. Purposive sampling was utilized by the researchers to choose 80 students as a sample and divided them into two classes, experimental and controlled classes. This study used a vocabulary test as the instrument. The vocabulary test was used to determine whether the 'students' vocabulary mastery had improved following the treatment or not. The result of the study shows that there was improvement of 'students' vocabulary after using Quizlet as digital learning media. This is evidenced by the t-test significant value 0.000<0.05, which means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Therefore, using Quizlet as digital learning media is effective to improve 'students' vocabulary mastery. Quizlet is one of application that can be used as digital learning media with many features that can support the learning process in individuals and groups. Quizlet can also be used in online and offline situations.

The Enhancing the Students' Vocabulary Mastery in Reading Narrative Text by Using a Video

This research aims to find out whether: (1) video can enhance students’ vocabulary mastery in reading narrative text in the ninth grade students of MTsN 4 Ngawi. (2) the use of video is able to improve the classroom climate. (3) the strengths and weaknesses of implementing video in increasing students’ vocabulary mastery in reading narrative text. This Classroom Action Research conducted at the ninth grade students of Islamic Junior High School in Paron, Ngawi. There were 2 cycles and each cycles consists of four steps, namely: (1) planning the action, (2) implementing the action, (3) observing the action, and (4) reflecting the result of the observation. The result of the research shows: (1) video can enhance the students’ vocabulary mastery in reading narrative text. It could be seen from these indicators: (a) students could spell the vocabularies in narrative text; (b) most of students were able to pronounce words or sentences well; (c) students could grasp the meaning of narrative text well; and (d) students could construct good sentences. (2) the use of video is able to improve the classroom climate. (3) there are some strengths and weaknesses of implementing video in increasing the students’ vocabulary mastery in reading narrative text in the ninth grade of MTsN 4 Ngawi. In line with the result, I suggest that video is one of the effective media in teaching and learning process to improve the students’ enthusiasm and their achievement in learning reading. Vlog Sebagai Hasil Produk Belajar Siswa dalam Keterampilan Berbicara Bahasa Arab di MTsN Kota Batu Malang

In practicing Arabic speaking skills, Batu City MTsN students use a conversation/hiwar text reading system. So speaking skills have not been trained. This research methodology combines qualitative and quantitative approaches. The data collection methods used were questionnaires, interviews and observations. The research data sources were teachers and 29 students of class VIII MTsN Batu City. Analysis of data obtained from a 1-5 Likert scale questionnaire using SPSS version 26 with data tabulation. The research results show that Vlogs as a learning product for MTsN Batu City students can motivate students to learn. Students feel happy, enthusiastic and easy to learn to speak Arabic. Apart from that, students' Arabic speaking skills improved and they became more active in asking questions to the teacher. Vlogs as a product of student learning are also suitable for practice in learning Arabic speaking skills.

The Effect of Self-Confidence and Mathematics Anxiety on Mathematical Communication Ability of Class IX Students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah

This research was conducted at MTsN 1 Mataram in the 2023/2024 school year with the aim of seeing the effect of self-confidence and math anxiety on student’s mathematical communication skills. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with ex post facto method. The population of this study was class IX MTsN 1 Mataram. In determining the sample, probability sampling technique with cluster random sampling type was used. The sample in this study were students of class IX-4 MTsN 1 Mataram, totaling 32 students. The instruments used in this study were self-confidence questionnaire, math anxiety questionnaire, and mathematical communication ability test. The data analysis technique used was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of data analysis showed that: (1) The average self-confidence of class IX students of MTsN 1 Mataram in the 2023/2024 school year is in the medium category, where the largest frequency is in the low category with a percentage of 37.50%. The average student math anxiety is in the low category with the largest frequency in the low category at 53.13%. And the average mathematical communication ability of students is in the high category with the largest frequency in the medium category at 40.63%. (2) There is a positive and significant influence between self-confidence on student’s mathematical communication skills by 24.9%. (3) There is a negative and significant influence between math anxiety on student’s mathematical communication skills by 25.6%. (4) There is a significant influence between self-confidence and math anxiety together on student’s mathematical communication skills by 36.4%.

The Use of Animated Movie for Teaching Vocabulary

This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of using Animated Movie for teaching vocabulary, especially noun, adjective, and verb to the seventh-grade students of MTsN 2 Pontianak in the academic year 2022/2023 with pre-experimental design as the method. Cluster random sampling was used to select the sample which consisted of thirty-six students. The data was collected by using a multiple-choice test and then analyzed by using the t-test formula. The results indicated that Animated movie increases their vocabulary achievement. The presentation of Animated movie with English subtitles along with the combination of multimedia tools and applications significantly helped the students comprehend the meaning and accurately spell the words. It was proven by the result of the findings of this research that t-test computation at the level of significance of 0.05 with the degree of freedom 35 = 1.689 and the t-value was 9.57 which was higher than the t-table (1.690). The result of the effect size (ES) was 1.56 which was categorized as a strong effect (ES > 1.00). It demonstrated that the alternative hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. It proved that Animated Movie significantly affects teaching vocabulary.

DIALOGIC-INTERACTIVE MEDIA IN ONLINE LEARNING: EFFECTIVENESS IN SPEAKING SKILLS

The online learning process necessitates the utilization of diverse and creative learning resources by teachers. Nevertheless, a preliminary analysis revealed that Whatsapp, Zoom, and PowerPoint continue to dominate the learning media landscape. The usage of these media has not been able to aid educators in developing dialogic exchanges in the learning process, particularly when it comes to the acquisition of language. On this basis, the objective of this research is to build dialogic-interactive media in language learning to enhance students’ speaking abilities in online learning. This is Research and Development (R&D) utilizing the Plomp Development paradigm (Preliminary Research, Prototyping Phase & Assessment Phase). In the Assessment Phase, researchers tested the products that had been developed to determine the practicality and effectiveness of the developed media. The research instruments are in the form of questionnaires, observation sheets and tests. The research subjects were students of MTsN 1 Padang. The results showed that dialogic-interactive media was effective in increasing students’ speaking skills in online learning.

Improvement of Ablution Skills Through the Practice Methode (Drill)

Background. Ablution is an order from Allah Swt written in the Qur'an as a way of purifying before carrying out all kinds of worship including prayer and reading the Qur'an. Purpose. Ablution itself contains two aspects of cleanliness, namely physical cleanliness in the form of washing human body parts, and inner cleanliness caused by the effect of ablution on humans in the form of cleansing from the mistakes of sins committed by body members. Method. The design used by researchers in conducting this research is class action research. In this study using the form of teachers as researchers, where teachers play a very important role in the process of classroom action research. Results. In this form, the main purpose of PTK is to improve learning practices in the classroom. teachers are directly involved in the process of planning, action, observation, and reflection.The results of the analysis in each cycle show that the class average value has increased from 53 in the pre-cycle learning outcomes to 65 in cycle I, then increased to 80 in cycle II. Conclusion. So, the application of the drill method can improve the ablution skills of class VIII students of MTsN 1 Purwakarta. The increase in learning outcomes during learning activities through the drill method shows that students are more motivated when they are directly involved in teaching and learning activities

Effect of Using Interactive Electronic Module with Contextual Approach on Students Learning Motivation on Conductor and Insulator Materials

This study aims to develop an interactive electronic module product with a contextual approach and determine the effect of its use on students' learning motivation on conductor and insulator material. This study uses the R&D method with a 4D model. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The product was tested for feasibility, material validity, readability test, and measurement of student's learning motivation. The research subjects were seventh-grade students of MTsN 8 Banyuwangi and 5 validators. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study are the average product score is 3.9 with very good criteria and the percentage of 98% is very feasible, the validity of the material with a score of 3.8 with very good criteria and the percentage of 95% is very valid, the readability test obtained a score of 3 with very good criteria and percentage of 75% and learning motivation of students obtained a score of 3 and a percentage of 100% with high criteria. It can be concluded that the contextual approach interactive electronic module affects students' learning motivation on conductor and insulator material

ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIII MTsN 2 KERINCI

Low mathematical problem-solving abilities can affect student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the mathematical problem-solving skills of class VIII students of MTsN 2 Kerinci on relations and functions. The subjects in this study were students of class VII I MTsN 2 Kerinci which consisted of 21 students in one class. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The instrument used in this research is a test of mathematical problem-solving ability. To determine the level of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, guidelines are used which are modified from Mawaddah & Anisah's research namely the formula used to determine student scores and categories of problem-solving ability assessment results. From the results of the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the ability to solve students' mathematical problems is still in the low category. This is to the results of the questions done by students on the material relations and functions in the form of story questions where only 9.5% of students out of 21 students got quite good categories, and the rest got bad and very poor categories.
