Facilities and infrastructure in physical education are important to support student learning activities in the field of sports at school and help students to increase their achievements. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of physical education teachers towards the importance of facilities and infrastructure in the field of sports at SMP IT Ibnu Qoyyim Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative methods with observation and interview techniques. The results showed that teachers consider facilities and infrastructure very important in physical education learning at school. Facilities and infrastructure are considered as teaching media because physical education learning is more often practiced outside the classroom by using available facilities and infrastructure. Facilities and infrastructure at SMP IT Ibnu Qoyyim Pekanbaru are categorized as adequate range, but there is a decrease in quality due to lack of good management and maintenance. Good management is needed to create a supportive learning environment and stimulate students' interest in sports. Teachers are responsible for managing facilities and infrastructure with collaboration strategies and the use of technology to improve these conditions.
