Affect of Manufactured Insights on Human Misfortune in Choice Making, Sluggishness and Security in Instruction

The impact of artificial intelligence on decision-making, laziness, and privacy concerns among university students in Pakistan and China is examined in this study. Like other sectors, education uses artificial intelligence to address modern-day challenges. The investment in artificial intelligence will grow to more than $250 million over the course of the next decade. Researchers and institutions across the globe are praising the positive role of Artificial Intelligence, but ignoring its concerns. The data analysis of this study is based on qualitative methodology. The data was collected from students in different universities. The sample was drawn using the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis shows that artificial intelligence makes humans lazy. It impacts both security and privacy. The impact of artificial intelligence in Pakistan and Chinese society has been found to be a factor in the loss of decision-making. Humans are the most affected by the effects of artificial intelligence. The study argues that preventative measures are necessary before using artificial intelligence in education. It would be like putting the devils in charge of the major human concerns. In order to address the issue, it is recommended to cent rate on justified designing and deployment.

Quality Assurance of Higher Education at the University Level in Division Bahawalpur

This informative study aims to clarify the quality assurance in higher education at the university level in the Division of Bahawalpur. The objectives of this study are: to find out the difference in quality assurance among students of different universities (public and private), to compare learning and teaching strategies, to identify reasons for quality assurance failure, to analyze physical infrastructure and academic facilities, and to compare the administrative facilities between these institutions. A descriptive quantitative survey design was selected for this study. The population of this study is all universities (Government and Private) located in the Division Bahawalpur and 07 universities were chosen as a sample. Of these 07 universities, 514 students (boys and girls) and 48 teachers (males and females) participated in this study as a sample. The simple random sampling technique is used. For data collection, two self-structured questionnaires were employed; one for students and one for teachers, each consisting of 40 items. After data collection, it was analyzed with the help of SPSS. The findings revealed that public universities have difficulty keeping up-to-date infrastructure and attempting to adapt contemporary teaching tactics, whereas private institutions often have superior administrative resources and more sophisticated teaching methodologies. It is suggested that to guarantee uniformity in educational quality, all universities should use a common quality assurance system and provide a favorable learning environment, increase spending on academic facilities, and encourage cooperation between public and private institutions to exchange best practices in quality and learning for progress.

Examination of undergraduate students’ physics expectations

A body of beliefs based on previous knowledge, attitudes, and experiences creates physics expectations of students about what they will learn and which skills they will use in physics lessons. Previous research indicated these views about knowledge and learning influenced physics learning by affecting their learning approaches. This research aims to investigate the physics expectations of undergraduate engineering and education students, who take various and different numbers of physics courses in Türkiye. The physics expectations of students were examined due to certain variables and they were compared with experts' ideas. In the study, the Turkish version of the Maryland Physics Expectations Survey II (MPEX II) was given to 831 engineering and education students in different universities. The results indicated the statistical differences in the physics expectations scores according to the department that was registered, the number of physics courses taken, and the reading of popular physics books. However, no significant difference was observed in the physics expectations scores according to gender, being an engineering student or education student, the year of the program, and the instructional approach of physics courses. The mean of the percentages of students who thought like experts in item by item was around 2/5; however, when expert-like thinking was considered for the overall scores, almost 12% of students answered at least half of the items like experts.

Linking social media addiction and student retention through the lenses of student engagement

PurposeThis research is designed to explore the relationship between social media addiction, student engagement and student retention. Social media addiction is dealt with as an independent variable student engagement acts as a mediating variable and student retention as a dependent variable.Design/methodology/approachThis is a cross-sectional and quantitative research. Primary data are collected from 600 respondents (university students) with the help of a structured questionnaire. Multistage sampling techniques, i.e. simple random sampling and judgment sampling, are used for the selection of respondents.FindingsResults indicate that for direct relationships, social media addiction has a significant positive impact on student engagement and student retention, respectively, while student engagement is partially mediating the relationship between social media addiction with student retention.Research limitations/implicationsIn the future, these kinds of research may also be conducted on students of different universities in Pakistan, which are located in other cities of Pakistan besides Lahore. This research provides a practical framework for the higher authorities of the universities of Pakistan and explains how the use of media positively fosters the levels of student retention directly and indirectly through the path of student engagement. It is commonly believed that media addiction is bad but the result of this research indicates that anything is not dangerous but depends upon its use, media addiction itself is not bad but if someone uses this for a good purpose in limitation then it has better outcomes. The result indicates that the media addiction of students has a positive impact on student retention. This means that if someone uses media for a positive purpose then he/she will use it as a supporting tool for success. Longitudinal research on these variables will also help to check the status after a specific interval of time.Practical implicationsThe current study will help the practitioners or policymakers (Managers) of higher education institutions by providing practical insights into the positive use of media by students for increasing their knowledge and grades. This research can also help practitioners or policymakers to focus their students on the positive use of social media for fostering the levels of student retention.Originality/valueTo the best of the researcher’s knowledge, no previous study has been done to incorporate social media addiction and student engagement in a single model in the Pakistani cultural context. Similarly, the relationship of variables social media addiction with student engagement is rarely checked empirically because the research of Wang et al. (2011) proposed that social media addiction has a relationship with student engagement so that is why this is the rationale of the research is to check this empirically. Moreover, this study is an initial effort to check the mediating effect of student engagement in the relationship between social media addiction and student retention. This research is also proposing the framework of social media addiction, student engagement and student retention based on the social exchange theory (SET).

A Study on the Assessment of Knowledge about Basic Life Support among Undergraduate and Post graduate Science Students

Aim: To assess the knowledge about basic life support among undergraduate and post graduate science students. Methods: A prospective observational study was conducted among the students of different colleges with various science courses. A total of 140 study participants were included in the study based on the study criteria. The data was collected using a questionnaire designed with the google form. The questionnaire consists of 20 questions regarding the basic life support. The google form was circulated among the social media groups and the responses recorded were analysed and interpreted. Students of both the genders of age above 18 years studying various science courses were included and students other than the life science courses in various colleges were excluded from the study. Results: A total of 140 study participants were included in this study. Among them, 45 (32.1%) were found to be males and 95 (67.9%) were found to be females. Most of the study participants were in the age group 21-25 years (56.4%). In this study, a total of 20 questions were given in order to assess the knowledge of the students in the aspect of basic life support. Among the 140 study participants, 59 (42.1%) were observed to be with good knowledge, 75 (53.6%) were observed with moderate knowledge and 6 (4.3%) were observed to be with poor knowledge in the aspect of basic life support. Conclusion: In this study, most of the study participants were having moderate knowledge (53.6%) followed by good knowledge (42.1%) in the aspect of basic life support. Almost 95.7% were having ample knowledge in the aspect of dealing the basic life support measures which seems to be very good sign and lack of knowledge in dealing these aspects among the various science background students will definitely impact the society in a negative way. In conclusion, we recommend the training in CPR/BLS should be implemented in the curriculum of all the students itself which will definitely be a valuable life saving skill set to the society.

Measuring the Effectiveness of Online and Face-to-Face Classes Using the Community of Inquiry Framework

The research study aims to measure and compare the effectiveness of face-to-face and online classes in the context of the Community of Inquiry Framework consisting of cognitive presence, social presence and instructional presence. It uses mixed methods of research design, and the participants are faculty members and students of different universities and colleges all over the Philippines. The importance of this research study is it assessed the effectiveness of online and face-to-face classes using the Community of Inquiry framework. Results showed that in all aspects of the Community of Inquiry Framework, the assessments of both modalities are highly effective. However, comparing the two modalities, FtF classes outweighed the online classes in all aspects. The 7 focus group discussions also yielded the same results, where students also identified 4 themes of advantages of the FtF modality which are; (1) Personal Interaction; (2) Real-Time Feedback; (3) Personalized Instruction; and (4) Reduced Distractions.

Physical activity and sleep quality in association to mental health among physical therapy students in different universities of Karachi: A cross sectional survey

Background: Quality sleep is vital for mental function, with its deprivation reducing alertness and impairing concentration. Similarly, a lack of physical activity leads to problematic living and mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Therefore, the main reason of this study was to solely focus on physiotherapy students and the effect of sleep and physical activity on their mental health. Objective: The research project aimed to observed physical activity and sleep quality in association to mental health among physical therapy students in different universities of Karachi Methods: A cross-sectional study on 360 DPT students in various. Karachi universities was conducted after obtaining approval from the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The participants, DPT undergraduates aged 18-28 years, were selected through convenient sampling. Exclusion criteria included diagnosed systemic diseases or psychological conditions. The study utilized PSQI, DASS-21, and IPAQ shortform tools. Fisher's exact test was employed to analyse variable associations. Result: The sample's mean age was 21.75 years, Range= 18-28 years. Most (80.60%) were females. Almost all were single (94.90%), and 97.5% were poor sleepers. However, no association was found between sleep quality and depression, anxiety, or stress levels (p values = 0.117, 0.181, 0.293). Conclusion: The study revealed no association was found between poor sleep and physical activity levels with depression, anxiety, and stress in physiotherapy students, even though many face poor sleep. Students with poor sleep quality had higher physical activity levels than those with good sleep quality.

AI through the eyes of university students: benefits, concerns and possible challenges

The article discusses the issues related to the application of artificial intelligence (AI) within the environment of the senior bachelor's and master's degree students of different universities. To that end the method of questionnaire was implemented based on the online test constructor Testmoz, which comprised 10 questions of both closed and open-ended types. The observations and conclusions presented are based on the results of analyzing students' perceptions and usage patterns of neural network-based applications, in particular in English studies. Assignments on developing students’ competences in mastering a foreign language are exemplified. The study shows how often, to what extent and which tools they rely on, how much AI affects students' learning and performance, and what their concerns are in terms of its increasing integration into education. The peculiar features of chatbots as the most popular “assistants” in learning are considered, with a special emphasis on Chat GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer); according to students’ evidence, it is in high demand in carrying out various academic and research tasks. In addition, the study analyzes the challenges that teachers are facing and those that will have to address, such as ensuring fair assessment, addressing issues of trust and credibility, and adapting to the changing educational landscape heavily influenced by AI. The results of the study emphasize the need for a balanced approach to the use of neural network technology in education, taking into careful consideration ethics, data privacy, and the importance of maintaining critical thinking skills.

Impact of Electronic Word of Mouth on Purchase Intention: Mediating Role of Brand Trust and Product Involvement

Word-of-mouth (WOM) has been recognized as one of the most influential tools of transmitting the information. With the technology-oriented advancements and the emergence of various online social networking sites (SNS) like Face book, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter, the concept of word of mouth has been revived to the electronic word-of-mouth. This spectacle has an enormous influence on the decisions of the consumers they make while purchasing a product or brand. Drawing on the theory of planned behavior, this study examined the influence of electronic word-of-mouth on purchase intention with the explanatory role of the brand trust and product involvement. In this quantitative study the empirical data has been collected through survey questionnaires. For this research the target population was the students of different universities of Lahore who use social networking platforms to read the online reviews and recommendations. Measurement items were adopted from previous studies in marketing literature. To test hypotheses, linear and hierarchal regression techniques have been applied. All the tests on the data to infer results were performed through SPSS version 22.0. The results indicate that product involvement and brand trust positively and partially mediate the relationship between electronic word-of-mouth and purchase intention. This paper endorsed the importance of electronic word-of-mouth, brand trust, product involvement, and this information will assist the marketers in making the efficient and low budgeted marketing strategies in future to boost up the purchase intention of the consumers that will ultimately leads to earn higher profits. The theoretical and practical implications are also discussed.

Assessment of Attitude and Practices towards COVID-19 among Paramedical Students

INTRODUCTION: The country’s response to a potential outbreak may benefit greatly from the practical knowledge, experience and skills of paramedical students in a number of ways. Thus, this study was conducted to evaluate attitude and practices regarding COVID-19 among paramedical students studying in different colleges of Janakpurdham, Nepal. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A structured questionnaire was used in a descriptive cross-sectional study to collect information on COVID-19 attitude and practices among HA students enrolled in different selected colleges affiliated to Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Nepal in April and May of 2022. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences was used to analyse the data. Significant results were defined as a p-value of less than 0.05. RESULTS: Majority of girls from NHRDA and MTA (53.7% and 50.58%) respectively, believed that COVID-19 infection is a global problem than CMC girls (35.08%). Of 63.5% and 49.35% girls from NHRDA and MTA agreed that the public is crucial for infection control. More than 60% of girls from NHRDA and MTA suffered from mild fever after immunization fall down by 52.17% girls from CMC’s while 52.3%, 30.6% and 42.42% girls from each college respectively felt 4healthy after immunization and one fourth of total suffered from high fever after immunization. The significant association between the COVID-19 immunization among the students of different colleges (p = 0.00). CONCLUSIONS: Most of the girl students had positive attitude and optimistic practice, while the boys followed appropriate safety measures to avoid contracting COVID-19. A significant correlation has been found between students from various colleges and the COVID-19 vaccine.

Evaluation of Various Factors Associated with Morbidity Among the Students of Different Universities of District Shaheed Benazirabad

This cross-sectional study aimed to assess the prevalence of obesity, physical inactivity, and dietary habits among 300 university students in Shaheed Benazirabad, with half from the medical field. Data collected via a specific questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 25 revealed that 55.33% of medical students and 62% of non-medical students were inactive, while 34.66% of medical students and 28% of non-medical students were minimally inactive. Obesity rates were 8% among medical students and 4.66% among non-medical students, with 18.66% of medical students and 11.33% of non-medical students classified as overweight. The study concluded that university students in Shaheed Benazirabad exhibit a high prevalence of overweight/obesity and a sedentary lifestyle, particularly among females. Recommendations include promoting physical activity and healthier dietary habits among university students to address these concerns.

Effect of the Psychiatric Co-Morbidities of Migraine in Medical University Students: A Cross-Sectional Study

BACKGROUND: Migraine is a common neurological disorder with significant psychiatric co-morbidities and impact on quality of life. Medical students routinely have triggers, notably stress and irregular sleep, which are typically associated with migraine. The present study aimed to assess the effect of the psychiatric co-morbidities of migraine on medical university students. METHODS: We conducted a descriptive cross-sectional study at Khartoum University on 356 students chosen by a multi-stage stratified sampling for the batch and gender, followed by a simple random sampling using self-administered questionnaires. Our survey consisted of the Patient Health Questionnaire 4-item (PHQ-4) to examine the effect of the psychiatric co-morbidities of migraine on medical students at Khartoum University. Migraine diagnosis was made according to ID Migraine. We analyzed the data using SPSS Software version 26. RESULTS: The participants included 63.8% females and 36.2% males. The age of the participants ranged from 17–26-year-old, with the majority between 20-23 years old. Additionally, 73.6% of the students were caffeine consumers, and 6.5% were smokers. In addition, 66% of medical students confirmed having two or more general headaches during the past three months. The prevalence of migraine was 27.25% in the whole study group. According to the PHQ-4 scoring system, (36%) had mild psychological distress (score: 3-5), (28.9%) reported severe distress (score: 9-12), while (24.7%) and (10.3%) reported moderate (score: 6-8) and none (score: 0-2) psychological distress, respectively. There was a significant association between the intensity of migraine without medications and the psychological status of the patient (P <0.05). CONCLUSION: In conclusion, the effect of the psychiatric co-morbidities of migraine was variable among medical students at Khartoum University. Our study findings revealed a significant association between the intensity of migraine without medications and the psychological status of the patient. However, these results need to be affirmed by furthermore research with a large sample of medical students in different universities in Sudan.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAMILY BACKGROUND AND ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTIONS OF GRADUATES

Entrepreneurship is all about risk taking, initiative, independence and creativeness. Entrepreneurs are known for creating new jobs by opening new businesses which ultimately becomes a base for the boost of economy. Entrepreneurship means creation and implementation of new innovative ideas. This can only be done if one has the passion, energy and vision to turn the idea of change into reality by bring the solutions to those problems which are not solved yet. Any creative person can become an entrepreneur. In this paper we are trying to analyze the relation between the family background and entrepreneurial intention of university students of Lahore. We have gathered the information regarding the family background of students and their intentions to start a business, trying to conclude the relationship between them. For this purpose, 250 questionnaires were filled from students of different universities of Lahore.

In the context of large-scale import substitution, improving the training of workers for all sectors of the national economy in the system of secondary vocational education becomes an urgent problem. It is necessary to cre-ate conditions that ensure the formation of motivation among college graduates for the implementation of the entire volume of competencies acquired during the study in the specialty or associated with it. In this regard, there is a need to investigate the motivations that determine the employment of current academic graduates. Based on the materials of three sociological studies conducted by the Ural Federal University in 2018, 2021, 2023, the main factors influencing the choice of a future place of work by senior students of different colleges of the Middle Urals are revealed. The article shows changes in assessment of the level of the desired salary, prospects of realization of abilities, professional and career growth when making a decision to work in a pro-fession or adjacent to it.

The predicting role of EFL teachers’ immediacy behaviors in students’ willingness to communicate and academic engagement

BackgroundTeacher-student interactions and proximity have been shown influential in second/foreign (L2) education. However, the role of L2 teachers’ immediacy behaviors on students’ willingness to communicate (WTC) and academic engagement remains relatively unexamined in the context of English as a foreign language (EFL).PurposeThis study intended to examine the association among EFL teachers’ immediacy behaviors and students’ WTC and engagement.MethodsIn this quantitative study, three online questionnaires were completed by 400 Chinese EFL students in different universities out of which 364 were valid.ResultsThe results of statistical analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) indicated that teachers’ immediacy behaviors (verbal, nonverbal) had a highly significant influence on EFL students’ WTC (ß=0.89, p = .000) and academic engagement (ß=0.71, p = .000). It was also revealed that teachers’ immediacy could predict 89% and 71% of variances in students’ WTC academic engagement, respectively.ConclusionsBased on the results, I could be concluded that EFL teachers’ interpersonal communication abilities (e.g., immediacy) foster the establishment and growth of other positive outcomes among learners.ImplicationsThe study presents some conclusions and practical implications for EFL teachers, materials developers, and trainers to integrate the nonverbal cues of L2 communication into their practices. Such practices have the potential to enhance students’ willingness to communicate (WTC) and improve academic engagement.

Purpose - to assess the intentions of students of different universities to vaccinate their future children and the factors that influence their decision. Materials and methods. A Google form with 20 questions was developed. The data were obtained from an online survey conducted among students who have not yet had children. The questions concerned the attitude to immunoprophylaxis, as well as information about the age, gender and occupation of the respondents (of particular interest are those who have or are obtaining a medical education). Results. A total of 145 students took part in the survey, including 79.5% from healthcare and 20.5% from non-healthcare sectors. The majority of those who took part in the survey were female, aged 18 to 30. According to the data, after giving birth to children, 77.2% of respondents expressed a desire to invest in disease prevention and enjoy a full life, while almost 8% consider it appropriate to treat diseases that have already occurred, and more than 14% are undecided about medical tactics. In general, 81% have a positive attitude towards vaccination; 16% have a reservation, more than 2% are undecided, and almost 1% have a negative attitude. According to the attitude towards vaccination of their future children, five distinct parental groups were identified among the respondents: “unquestioning acceptors” - 57% of respondents indicated that they intend to vaccinate their future children with all vaccines available in Ukraine, 43.9% - “cautious acceptors” - will choose only mandatory vaccinations; 8.8% are undecided and slightly less than 2% are “refusers” from all vaccines. The first place among the main reasons for refusing to vaccinate children is the fear of adverse reactions and post-vaccination complications; the second place is distrust of the manufacturer and the third is caution because of so-called contraindications. The survey also found that when determining contraindications to vaccinating an unborn child, respondents would most likely listen to the opinion of the following specialists: pediatrician - 87.7%; immunologist - 56.1%; family doctor - 46.5%. Conclusions. The level of awareness of vaccination among young people is generally satisfactory. There is no difference between doctors and non-physicians. To maximize protection of children from vaccine-preventable infections, pediatricians should effectively counsel parents on the benefits of vaccines and the risks of delaying or refusing vaccination. To increase understanding and benefit of vaccines among the general population and reduce vaccine hesitation/refusal, vaccine education should begin as part of a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention program long before university and continue after medical and non-medical training. Basic knowledge about vaccines should be included in the curriculum of not only medical but also non-medical universities. The research was carried out in accordance with the principles of the Helsinki Declaration. The study protocol was approved by the Local Ethics Committee of the participating institution. No conflict of interests was declared by the authors.

Assessment of self-medication status among international students in different universities in Pakistan; a cue to the rational use of medicines: a cross-sectional study

Background: Self-medication is a global phenomenon that can lead to adverse consequences. This study was conducted to assess the self-medication status among international students in Pakistan so that rational use of medicines (RUM) can be assured with effective interventions. Methods: A web-based cross-sectional survey was conducted among 317 international students in different universities in Pakistan. The original Bloom’s cutoff point was utilized to categorize the participants’ overall knowledge, attitude, and practice. The χ2 test was used to test for group differences. For binary logistic regression analyses, the odds ratio (OR) was calculated at 95% CI. Spearman rank correlation coefficient test was used to assess the relationships among the knowledge, attitude, and/or practice scores. Results: The participants demonstrated overall good knowledge (85.5%), positive attitude (83.9%), and good practice (78.5%) towards self-medication. None of the demographic parameters were found statistically significant with knowledge, attitude, and practice about self-medication. The participants with good knowledge and positive attitude had more than 7 and 30 times high odds of good practice (OR: 7.97, 95% CI: 4.06–15.65, P < 0.001 and OR: 30.91, 95% CI: 14.26–67.00, P < 0.001) than those without good knowledge and positive attitude, respectively. Conclusion: Good knowledge, positive attitude, and good practice towards self-medication show the value of education and awareness towards RUM. The interventions to halt the irrational practice of self-medication, expanding awareness, and executing legislation to upgrade the judicious use of self-medication practices are indicated for the RUM at the national level.

Research attitudes, knowledge, experiences, and barriers among health science students at King Khalid University, Southwest of Saudi Arabia: A cross-sectional study

Research is a systematic process to achieve new knowledge, science, or invention. Training in health research is an important part of medical education. This study aimed to evaluate the attitudes, knowledge, experiences, and barriers related to research among the health science students at King Khalid University, Abha. This cross-sectional study was conducted among 632 health science students of different colleges of King Khalid University, Abha, Saudi Arabia. From each study level, approximately 25% of the total number of students was selected using a systematic random sampling method. Tests for associations between different scale items and the type of college were used. The majority of students were mainly aged between 20 to 25 years and were males. Statistically significant differences in age distribution among the colleges (P < .05) were found. Regarding students attitudes towards research, 80.5% of the students agreed that research gives them a better understanding of the world. About 79.6% of the total students agreed that every physician, dentist, and pharmacist should be familiar with the scientific methods of research. Statistical significant differences were found in attitudes toward research among different colleges (P < .05). Overall 56.3% of the students recorded a positive attitude regarding research. Only 2.8% of the students had a good knowledge level regarding research and 66.5% had a poor knowledge level. Considering research experience, 50.9% of the overall students self-reported that they did research during their undergraduate phase. About 22% of the students recorded a high experience level regarding research, 41.9% had a moderate level and 36.9% had a low level of experience. Lack of research experience was the most commonly recorded barrier (80.5%) followed by lack of training on how to do research (72.7%). Training on research and adequate support in student research activities at the undergraduate level may help to reduce the identified barriers to research.

Assessment of the Various Technology Tools Which Offered by University to the Students According to Technology Acceptance Model 3 (TAM3)

The target of this study is to measure the satisfaction of graduate and Ph.D. students with some of the educational and technical aspects of universities and their services to them by using the theory of TAM3. Conversely, the Technology Acceptance Model 3 (TAM3) technicality was employed with the (Xl STAT) program to explain the adoption process to measure user behavior. The total number of students is 261 male and female students in different universities in Turkey. (TAM3) was adopted in the present study to construct study tools and to evaluate user behavior. Seventeen factors were tested which are (“Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease Of Use (PEOU), Self-Efficacy (SE), Perceptions of External Control (PEC), Playfulness (PLAY), Perceived Enjoyment (ENJ), Objective Usability (OU), Anxiety (ANX), Subjective Norm (SN), Voluntariness (VOL), Image (IMG), Job Relevance (REL), Output Quality (OUT), Result Demonstrability (RES), Behavioral Intention (BI), and Actual Use (AU)”) [20]. The results showed that the TAM3 model was fit for this kind of problem. Moreover, the results of the statistical analysis show that the magnitude or volume relationships of variables by the model were significant and precise except for the subjective norm from Result demonstrability that was not supported, and users are satisfied with the performance of the technology tools that are used in their universities.

Interprofessional Interviewing in Intraprofessional Athletic Training Student Pairs: A Multi-Institutional Educational Technique

Context The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education 2020 Standards for Professional Programs highlight the need to further incorporate interprofessional education components into the curricula for athletic training programs. Interprofessional education can be a challenging component to integrate into the curriculum on an ongoing and routine basis, especially when access, quantity, and quality of interprofessional education resources are limited at individual universities. Objective To promote professional socialization between athletic training students of different universities while also promoting teamwork and collaboration values and skills through the use of shared interprofessional resources. Background This educational technique was developed as a means to address the lack of access to interprofessional resources faced by 3 professional athletic training programs in order to help meet compliance with 2020 Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education standards 8, 57, and 79. Description Athletic training students from 3 professional athletic training programs were paired with one athletic training student from another institution to research a nonorthopaedic, general medical condition. They were assigned a 3-part project: (1) review the existing literature for peer-reviewed articles on their assigned pathology, (2) interview a non–athletic trainer health care provider who has worked with the pathology, and (3) create an education infographic of the information to use as an educational tool for patients. The project helped to promote collaborative and team-based skills critical to interprofessional and intraprofessional success as a health care provider. Clinical Advantage(s) Students learned with, from, and about how non–athletic trainer health care professionals manage their assigned nonorthopaedic, general medical pathologies in clinical practice. Conclusion(s) This collaborative project allowed athletic training students to develop intraprofessional and interprofessional skills by working with both athletic training students and non–athletic training health care professionals. Informative feedback on how the students perceived their interactions was received at the conclusion of the assignments.
