A Collaborative Control Protocol with Artificial Intelligence for Medical Student Work Scheduling

Effective work scheduling for clinical training is essential for medical education, yet it remains challenging. Creating a clinical training schedule is a difficult task, due to the complexity of curriculum requirements, hospital demands, and student well-being. This study proposes the Collaborative Control Protocol with Artificial Intelligence for Medical Student Work Scheduling (CCP-AI-MWS) to optimize clinical training schedules. The CCP-AI-MWS integrates the Collaborative Requirement Planning principle with Artificial Intelligence (AI). Two experiments have been conducted comparing CCP-AI-MWS with current practice. Results show that the newly developed protocol outperforms the current method. CCP-AI-MWS achieves a more equitable distribution of assignments, better accommodates student preferences, and reduces unnecessary workload, thus mitigating student burnout and improving satisfaction. Moreover, the CCP-AI-MWS exhibits adaptability to unexpected situations and minimizes disruptions to the current schedule. The findings present the potential of CCP-AI-MWS to transform scheduling practices in medical education, offering an efficient solution that could benefit medical schools worldwide.

Education in focus: Significant improvements in student learning and satisfaction with ophthalmology teaching delivered using a blended learning approach.

This study aimed to measure student satisfaction with a revised ophthalmology delivery format, which due to the pandemic had previously relied on a remote online flipped classroom (OFC) format compared to a blended learning format. This educational strategy combined online learning with in-person seminars and practical patient centred sessions. Our previous investigations demonstrated a significant lack of student satisfaction with a curriculum solely reliant on a remote OFC, as such we hypothesised that a blended learning approach would result in improved levels of student satisfaction and knowledge gain. Non-randomised intervention study of two groups; group 1 = OFC group and group 2 = BL group, compared perspectives of 4th year ophthalmology students using a validated course evaluation questionnaire (CEQ). A total of 59 students from the BL group (n = 257; response rate = 23.0%) and 28 from the OFC group agreed to participate in the study (n = 114; response rate = 24.6%). Participants in the BL group felt it was easier to determine the standard of work that was expected (77.42% v 60.71%) and demonstrated significantly increased satisfaction with staff motivation of students (95.16% v 64.29%, p <0.001) and provision of feedback (74.19% v 46.43%, p = 0.004), compared to the OFC group. Furthermore, students in the BL group also felt the course significantly improved their analytical skills (64.52% v 42.85%, p = 0.023) and ability to work as part of team (69.36% v 25%, p <0.001) as well as reporting reduced dissatisfaction with the level of choice afforded in terms of how they would learn (33.88% v 60.71%, p = 0.31) and the how they were assessed (59.68% v 89.28%, p = 0.004). No evidence of a statistical difference in exam score was observed. The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated an unavoidable pivot to online and distance learning, to meet the challenges presented by government mandates and social distancing requirements. Since many of these directives have been reversed, it is important to evaluate the effectiveness and learner perceptions' of the online and distance learning interventions. In this study we demonstrated a significant student preference for BL compared to the OFC approach, with comparable student performances determined by MCQ examinations. Our findings suggest a preference for reintroducing in-person and patient engagement activities in post-pandemic health professions education.

PERCEPTIONS OF TUVAN STUDENTS ABOUT THE RELEVANCE OF THE TUVAN LANGUAGE IN THE MEDIA SPACE

Purpose. The article examines the relevance of the Tuvan language in the media space from the point of view of Tuvan students today in order to determine the language preferences of Tuvan students in everyday communication; identify the language preferences of Tuvan students in the media space; assess the degree of awareness and interest of the studied regarding sources in the Tuvan language in the media space; clarify their position on the popularization of the Tuvan language in the media space. the media space. Different formulations of the concept of "media space" are considered. Method and methodology of study. The research is based on such methods as observation, content analysis of sources in the media space, a sociological method such as an online survey, as well as an analysis of the results obtained. Results. The results of a survey among Tuvan students are presented. It was found out that most of the studied group thinks and communicates in the Tuvan language, but there are also critically small proportions of those who do not use the Tuvan language at all. It was found out that the mixed use of both Russian and Tuvan languages prevails in the communication process. This is due to the Tuvan-Russian bilingualism rooted in the region. Today, Tuvan students are putting forward certain proposals to popularize the Tuvan language in the media space: advertising in Tuvan, entertainment content in Tuvan, video tutorials in Tuvan about the Motherland, development of mobile applications in Tuvan, and others. In general, the content in the Tuvan language in the media space is of interest to the majority of Tuvan students.

Children with special needs also have the right to develop mental and spiritual aspects so that they develop optimally according to their circumstances. In part, education has been equalized by all in the city of Banjarmasin, but there are still obstacles that require careful planning management. For this reason, research was conducted with the aim of uncovering and describing plans for mental development of children with special needs in junior high schools. This research method is descriptive qualitative, using interview, observation and documentary data collection instruments. Implementation of Differentiated Learning in English Lesson Using Independent Curriculum at MAN Surabaya

This study explores differentiated learning in English classes at MAN Surabaya within the Independent Curriculum framework. Differentiated learning adapts teaching strategies, content, and assessments to meet students' varying needs, readiness levels, interests, and learning profiles. The research identifies strategies used by the teacher, student preferences, and implementation challenges. Using qualitative methods such as observations, interviews, and document analysis, the study finds that the teacher employs flexible grouping, tiered assignments, and individualized instruction to cater to diverse student needs. Students favor activities aligned with their interests and readiness, finding them more engaging and effective. However, challenges include limited resources, time constraints, and the need for ongoing professional development. The study concludes that differentiated learning can improve student engagement and achievement but requires significant support for the teacher, including resources, time for planning, and continuous professional development. These findings highlight the importance of educational policymakers and school administrators providing necessary support and resources to enable effective differentiated learning implementation in classrooms.

Manajemen Peserta Didik Sekolah Dasar (Studi Multi Situs pada SDN Paringin Selatan 1 dan SD IT Darul Fikri Kabupaten Balangan)

The aim of this research is to describe student management including student admission planning, student development and student evaluation at SDN Paringin Selatan 1 and SD IT Darul Fikri, Balangan Regency. This research is qualitative research in the form of case studies at 2 sites, namely SDN Paringin Selatan 1 and SD IT Darul Fikri. The research data sources are school principals and teachers. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation and then analyzed using within-site data analysis, individual site analysis and cross-case data analysis. Checking the validity of the data was carried out by source triangulation. The research results from 2 research sites illustrate that student admission planning includes stages starting from analyzing student needs, such as planning the number of students who will be accepted, forming a new student admissions committee and holding promotions and outreach, implementing the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS). Developing students by creating a comfortable and conducive learning atmosphere, integrating the general curriculum with character and religious education values. Organizing extracurricular activities as a means of channeling students' talents and potential. Student evaluations, attitude competency evaluations, knowledge competency and skill competency evaluations are all contained in evaluation reports in the form of student report cards, remedial implementation and teacher performance evaluations. The conclusion of this research is that student recruitment planning includes: analysis of student needs, student recruitment planning, student selection, student orientation and reporting of new student data. Student development includes coaching in the learning process, coaching in extracurricular activities and coaching students in discipline. Student evaluation includes the development of children's knowledge, reports on children's learning outcomes, remedial activities and evaluation of teacher performance. Subjective Skin Condition and Beauty Therapy Preference of Female College Students

Purpose: We investigated the beauty therapies preferred by female college students based on their subjectively perceived skin condition and type, as well as how female college students evaluate their skin condition and type to provide optimal beauty for different skin types.Methods: Beauty students who could correctly identify beauty therapy and their own skin condition and type were chosen from those who had taken beauty therapy-related classes for more than 4 semesters, and 158 copies were used as final statistical analysis data.Results: According to the individual’s subjective skin condition and type, most female college students believe that they had combination skin with a significant difference in the oil levels between the T-zone and both cheeks, and they felt sensitive due to the lack of oil and moisture in the cheek area. In terms of subjective skin condition type and beauty therapy preference differences, massage therapy was strongly recommended for those with combination skin, Pango therapy for those with oily skin, and chocolate therapy for those who considered themselves to have dry skin. In terms of subjective skin condition type and beauty therapy satisfaction differences, those with oily skin reported being satisfied with the feeling that their face was clean, their skin was moisturized, and their skin felt tight, whereas those with oily and sensitive skin were extremely satisfied with the scent during beauty treatment.Conclusion: As a beauty therapy program reflecting these characteristics, it is deemed appropriate to improve the lactation balance by combining aromatherapy, chocolate therapy, and massage therapy.

FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH SEXUAL IDENTITY AND PREFERENCE AMONG FEMALE STUDENTS IN A SOUTHERN NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY

Sexual orientation is a multifaceted and multidimensional concept that researchers and practitioners define differently based on its theoretical and practical deliberations. This study examined the determinants of sexual identity and preferences of female students in a Tertiary Institution in Southern Nigeria. This is an analytical cross-sectional study which was conducted among 423 female students in University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. Extracted data was analyzed using IBM SPSS version 26.0. Descriptive statistics were used to show the characteristics of the women and multivariate logistic regression was used to examine determinants of sexual preference and sexual identity. Statistical significance was set at 5%. The age of the respondents was 21.4 ± 2.6 years. Approximately 53.0% (n = 224) of the participants have had sexual intercourse, with the mean SD age of sexual debut being 18.3 ± 2.3 years. Majority 309 (73.1%) of the respondents’ sexual preference was vaginal, while only 18.2% and 8.7% preferred oral and anal sex respectively. Approximately 92.0% (n = 389) of the respondents were into heterosexual sex; 4.2% were bisexual (n = 18), and 3.8% (n = 16) were homosexuals. Significant predictors of sexual identity and preference were age, parents’ marital status and guardian of the respondents. Though, most respondents preferred vaginal sexual intercourse and majority were heterosexual, there are still considerable number of bisexuals and homosexuals, and those who preferred both oral and anal sex. There is need for young people to be aware of their sexuality, especially among female students in the university where the study was conducted.

The program for the training of an instrumental musician at the UAZ (Autonomous University of Zacatecas) currently has an emphasis on the beginning of the research processes through the UDI Degree Project; however, the predominance of actions for training as a performer makes the pedagogical process in this subject difficult and sometimes delays the completion of studies. The objective of this article constitutes a solution to this problem: to present a procedure for the orientation of music students that systematizes work experiences during the research process. For this, systematization was combined with experiential methods, pedagogical observation, systemic-structural/analyticalsynthetic and document analysis, which led to the development of a procedure for the orientation of the music student based on the curriculum and the theoretical framework in research.

The Influence of Visual Learning Styles on Learning Outcomes in PAUD Tegar Tangguh Kampung Gunung, Simalungun Regency

&lt;p&gt;This study aims to determine the effect of visual learning style on visual learning style on early childhood learning outcomes at PAUD Tegar Tangguh hamlet II village Bandar Jawa, Bandar Sub-district, Simalungun Regency. this research is motivated by the results of observations conducted and found interesting facts that the majority of learning activities still use auditory learning styles. The results of this observation revealed that learning methods that focus on hearing, such as listening to stories or verbal explanations, are not the main preference for students in absorbing information. The type of research conducted by researchers in this study is quantitative research with multiple linear regression methods. This research was conducted at PAUD Tegar Tangguh hamlet II village Bandar Jawa, Bandar District, Simalungun Regency with a sample of 30 students out of 120 students. Data collection was done by giving a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Data analysis used is using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that visual learning styles have an effect on learning outcomes. early childhood, this can be seen from the significance value which is worth (Sig 0.000 &amp;lt;0.05) and for the value of F count&amp;gt; F table (28.830 &amp;gt; 3.34). The coefficient of determination of the effect of visual learning style variables on early childhood learning outcomes is 59.7% while the rest is influenced by other variables&lt;/p&gt;

Investigation of the Effect of Sports Participation Motivations of Students of Faculty of Sports Sciences on Their Leadership Orientations

In this study, it was aimed to determine the relationship between motivation to participate in sports and leadership orientations of students of the faculty of sports sciences. A relational survey model was used in this study. The study group consisted of students studying in the Faculty of Sports Sciences. The questionnaire part of the study consists of three parts. Firstly, includes demographic information. Secondly, the “Leadership Orientations Questionnaire”, which was developed by Bolman and Deal (1990) and adapted into Turkish by Dereli (2003), is explored. Thirdly, consists of the Participation Motivation Questionnaire, which was developed by Gill et al. (1983) and adapted into Turkish by Oyar et al. (2001). For the determine normality assumption skewness and kurtosis values was used. Skewness and kurtosis values were found to be between ±2 and it was determined that the data had a normal distribution (George and Malley, 2003). Afterward, an Independent samples t-test was used between paired groups, and a one-way analysis of variance was used for paired variables. Moreover, reliability coefficient, frequency and percentage and mean and standard deviation calculations were conducted. Simple regression analysis was used to determine the effect between the dependent and independent variables. The findings, a statistically significant difference was found in the variables of leadership orientation and age, income level, and frequency of weekly sports participation in sports participation motivation. As a result, it was determined that there was a low-level significant and negative relationship between the participants' motivation to participate in sports and their leadership orientations.Keywords: Leadership, Motivation, Sports.

THE HIERARCHY OF VALUE ORIENTATIONS OF STUDENTS

The article is devoted to the study of the hierarchy of value orientations of students. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that in the modern world, the value orientations of young people are undergoing changes. The transformation of values, one way or another, can be influenced by political, economic events and internal processes. It is known that young people are the most sensitive to all changes. Therefore, it is important to consider the value orientations of student youth, since this category of people is the main engine of progress in our society. Purpose. To consider the hierarchy of value orientations of students. Research methods. The value questionnaire of Sh. Schwartz, R. Inglehart's method (modified by M.S. Yanitsky). As a result of the research, the hierarchy of value orientations of students is analyzed at the level of normative ideals and individual priorities, as well as by value types (adaptation, socialization, individualization).

MOTIVATIONAL READINESS TOWARDS THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF CADETS IN THE UNIVERSITIES UNDER THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

Purpose. The article is devoted to the problem of motivational readiness towards the professional activity of cadets in the universities under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the need to improve the training quality in the field of public order protection, protection of citizens' interests and control over compliance with the rule of law in all spheres of society. The subject of the analysis is the motivational readiness formation peculiarities towards the professional activity among cadets of universities under the Ministry of Internal Affairs (on the example of the Federal State Public Educational Establishment of Higher Training «Nizhniy Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation» cadets). Methodology. The research is based on the methodology of the study motivation at the University by T.I. Ilyina and the methodology of value diagnosing orientations in the career "Career Anchors" by E. Shein. Results. The obtained research results allowed us to identify the dynamics of the leading motives, as well as to identify a group of the most significant value orientations of students of the Nizhniy Novgorod academy of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia, underlying their mastery of the future profession: service orientation (the need to benefit people, society), integration of lifestyles (a successful combination of personal life and career), professional competence (constant self-improvement and improvement of one's professional level) and challenge (willingness to act in extreme situations, take responsibility for solving complex tasks). Practical implications. The results of the study can be applied in the process of preparing and conducting classes in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as by practicing employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS OF BUILDING MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING SKILLS COMPETENCIES AND POST-GRADUATE ORIENTATION AT SMKN 1 PALANGKA RAYA

The perception of each individual is different and there are many aspects that influence a person's perception of anything, including determining the ideals or targets to be achieved. The orientation or direction of students' plans after graduating from vocational school will lead to work, continuing education or entrepreneurship. The student's post-graduate orientation or plans will be related to the student's perception of Skill Competency during their studies. The purpose of this research is to determine students' perceptions regarding Building Maintenance Engineering Skills Competencies at SMKN 1 Palangka Raya, students' plans after graduating from SMKN 1 Palangka Raya, and to describe the magnitude of the relationship between students' perceptions and orientation after graduating from SMKN 1 Palangka Raya. The research method used is the correlational descriptive method. The research instrument used a questionnaire, both for student perception variables and orientation after graduating from vocational school. The population in this research is students of classes X and XI in Building Maintenance Engineering and the entire population will be used as samples for testing. The findings of this research are: (1) students' perceptions of Building Maintenance Engineering Skills Competency have high criteria; (2) orientation after graduating from vocational school is in the high category and tends to lead to work and continuing after graduation; and (3) The influence of the relationship between student perceptions regarding Building Maintenance Engineering skills competency and post-graduate orientation at SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. It could be said that there is no significant influence between student perceptions and post-graduate orientation, because on average students answered that their goals after graduation.

Developing A Flipbook for Introduction to English Grammar Course with Project-Based Learning Approach

This study aimed to create a digital coursebook as a flipbook for the Introduction to English Grammar course using Project-Based Learning (PJBL). Utilizing the ADDIE model, a needs analysis was conducted to gather student preferences on language focus, learning setting, lecturer roles, and flipbook features. The resulting flipbook, consisting of 13 units, was designed to enhance students' grammatical skills for real-world communication and was validated by experts for its quality. The research emphasizes the potential of innovative, student-centered approaches in grammar education. Embedding grammar lessons into real-life scenarios through PJBL helps students recognize the practical applications of grammar and enhances retention and comprehension. The study successfully developed the flipbook in the initial phases of the ADDIE model, with future phases set to evaluate its effectiveness comprehensively. Initial findings provide valuable insights into effective grammar learning, suggesting the need for further research and development of innovative learning materials. The next phase involves piloting the flipbook in classrooms, with iterative refinements based on student feedback and outcomes to ensure it meets educational standards and student needs. This study highlights the importance of incorporating technology in educational resources to foster active learning and improve grammar proficiency among students

Designing diagnostic tools for the organization of differentiated professional orientation of high school students in pedagogical fields

Importance. Professional orientation in pedagogical fields is an effective means for the education system development. The diagnosis is an essential planning and organization component of targeted professional orientation for high school pupils. The issue of conscious selection of a teaching career is linked to the axiological aspect of the orientation for adolescents and young people, as well as to the implementation of the individualization and differentiation principles in education. A comprehensive set of diagnostic tools for targeted career guidance for high school students under modern conditions, considering the pedagogical field and its axiological significance, has not yet been defined. There is a growing need for educational initiatives and scientific support for the development of methods range for targeted career guidance, including diagnostics, to encourage students to pursue careers in the field of education. The aim of the research is to provide a theoretical basis and present the results of developing diagnostic tools for organizing differentiated professional orientation for high school students pursuing pedagogical studies. Based on systematic, predictive, individualized, and value-based approaches to professional guidance, these diagnostic tools could be useful for selecting students for teaching positions, implementing a system of personalized career counseling in a contemporary educational setting, and for admission officers involved in planning and executing career guidance programs in the field of teacher training.Research Methods. Analysis of scientific literature and the current state of affairs in the vocational guidance and career counseling field, as well as a review of existing tools and parameters for this purpose. The research follows a logical path that begins with the career guidance organization for schoolchildren and progresses to the diagnostic instruments development (such as sample interview questions) for use in differentiated career counseling for those interested in teachingrelated fields.Results and Discussion. The “professional orientation” concept is considered both in Russia and abroad, and the specific implementation examples of career guidance activities in education are presented. An important area of professional orientation is value orientation towards pedagogical specialties. Career guidance diagnostics includes an analysis of values, value attitude to the profession, interests, abilities, and orientation of students necessary to predict the development of personality qualities in the chosen field of training in pedagogical specialties, and the organization of differentiated career guidance. In the research course, the author’s diagnostic tools are developed – the diagnostic matrix “Career guidance interview for a future teacher”.Conclusion. The problem of differentiated professional orientation towards pedagogical specialties among adolescents and young people is urgent and requires special attention from the state, society and the educational system. The professional orientation of high school students to pedagogical specialties includes the diagnosis of values, value attitude to the chosen profession, individual interests and abilities, improves educational results and helps to see the prospects and opportunities of everyone in the future professional field – the field of education. In addition, it reduces the risk for a person to choose an unsuitable profession and helps to successfully integrate into the professional teaching community in the future.

Features of studying and implementing gamification technologies in the practice of teaching a foreign language

Importance. The development of gamification technologies in the practice of teaching activities is considered. The process of formation and development of gamification concepts in domestic and foreign education is analyzed, the main approaches to the specification of the term “gamification” are identified, it is emphasized that gamification, unlike many gaming practices, has a nonimitation nature, where, based on certain rules, an educational result is achieved.Materials and Methods. An overview of the results of foreign empirical studies of gamification is presented, the identified positive effects of technology application and promising directions of its study are shown.Results and Discussion. Structural and content types of gamification are identified, including the main elements and mechanisms of this pedagogical technology. The potential of pedagogical technology in the field of motivational orientation, involvement and immersion of students in the educational process is emphasized. The distinctive features and possible negative trends in the use of gamification in the educational process are identified.Conclusion. Gamification technologies make it possible to implement most didactic principles and implement sociocultural, communicative, self-development, therapeutic, correctional and entertaining pedagogical functions.
