Technological and industrial sovereignty: problems of ensuring and contours of macroeconomic and sectoral policy.

The article presents an overview of the features of the economic development of the country during the period of liberal transformations and the problems associated with ensuring technological sovereignty in Russia. The main ones are: a low share of innovations in the structure of industrial production, as well as enterprises that carry them out; obsolescence of a significant part of fixed assets in industry; a high key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, which does not contribute to economic growth and acceleration of industrial modernization in Russia. The article attempts to identify the elements of macroeconomic policy that contribute to ensuring technological sovereignty. To achieve economic growth, it is necessary to significantly increase the share of investments in fixed and human capital. To activate investment activity in the real sector of the economy, it is necessary to reduce the discount rate. In order to overcome the technological gap and solve the problem of import substitution, it is also necessary to optimize the industry and antimonopoly policy. It is necessary to reconsider the attitude to the integration policy of enterprises in the markets in order to increase their production efficiency, despite the increase in the level of concentration, and also to determine which structure in key industries is optimal for solving the problem of import substitution and restoring production chains destroyed as a result of sanctions.

Research on Regional Industrial Layout and Structural Adjustment and Upgrading under Digital Economy

Digital transformation promotes the change of urban governance. Based on the concept of "system", this paper focuses on exploring the influencing factors and evaluation indicators of the industrial structure adjustment and energy production and consumption structure adjustment of green smart cities in the new era under the promotion of digital economy, providing a strong theoretical basis for the comprehensive evaluation of the influencing factors in the later period.

The environmental state of the Pavlodar region in the Republic of Kazakhstan (1990s)

The article examines the key aspects of the environmental condition of the Pavlodar region in the 1990s. It provides an analysis of the climate, the structure of industrial production, and the availability of minerals. Based on statistical materials, the state of atmospheric air characterized by the presence of harmful impurities polluting the environment has been studied. The status and usage of water resources in the region are also indicated. The authors note a real threat of pollution of the Irtysh River by heavy industry waste in the region. The analysis of the materials showed that despite having significant land resources, the Pavlodar region inefficiently used them for agriculture. In conclusion, it is stated that the environment of the region was influenced by an increase in pollution of water and land resources with toxic metals as a result of the activities of non-ferrous metallurgy and thermal power plants.

IMPROVEMENT OF THE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF FACTORS THAT HINDER THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NON-OIL INDUSTRY BASED ON INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

The study of the problems of improving the mechanism of the management of the factors that slow down the development of the non-oil industry confirms the instability of the development rates of the Azerbaijani industry in 2005-2021, the disparities in the development of the industry in the production and processing areas, as well as in the regions. As a result of the study, the classification of internal and external factors that hinder the development of the non-oil industry is justified. Application of ISO standards in enterprises operating for the creation of a non-oil industry based on innovative economy, a new concept of regulation of production activities based on the data of technical projects, technical and economic justifications and project estimates were presented as the main direction of improving the management system of factors that hinder the development process of the non-oil industry. The relevance of the subject. In recent years, factors such as creating an inter-sector balance and effective use of natural and material resources have played an important role in ensuring economic stability in our country, but it is necessary to solve the economic and institutional regulation issues related to the development of the non-oil sector of the industry. Because ensuring the development of the non-oil sector has been set as a priority direction and main task of the state’s economic policy. The main goal in the implementation of the specified task is to increase the level of welfare of the population, transition to an export-oriented economy and improve the competitiveness of the economy. From this point of view, the relevance of the research of the subject is not in doubt. The purpose of the article. The main goal of the research is to create an effective management structure, which ensures the elimination of obstacles that slow down the development of this section of the industry, taking into account the role of the non-oil industrial sector in ensuring the sustainable development of the country’s economy and raising the standard of living of the population, through the formation and evaluation of a qualitatively new model of sustainable economic development of added value growth and structural changes in production areas and enterprises. Elucidation of practical aspects of using the concepts «technical structure of production», «organic structure of capital and turnover rate» to improve the management system of non-oil industries and enterprises, which are considered as objects of study of economic theory, is a priority direction of research. Research methods. The article was written on the basis of scientific research methods which includes theoretical analysis, systematic analysis, statistical analysis, generalization, comparative structural analysis, etc. Scientific innovation. In the article, based on the analysis of the production structure and current situation of the non-oil industry in 2005-2021, the classification of the obstacles that slow down the development of the industry was justified for the first time, and specific proposals for their elimination were put forward. Acknowledging the dependence of solving issues such as the application of ISO standards in the non-oil industry sector and the admission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the World Trade Organization on the condition of ensuring the quality and safety of goods and services, determination of the technical structure of production on the basis of project-estimate documents and proposals for regulating the distribution of income (profit) according to the capital structure and turnover rate should be evaluated as innovative development directions of management in the industry.

Assessment of the Level, Direction and Factors of Structural Changes in the Irkutsk Region Industry

It is known that the structure of industrial production in Russia was formed under the influence of many factors that caused its raw materials specialization and accelerated development of the military-industrial complex. Since the realization of the need for structural transformations (the beginning of the 90s), authorities, associations of industrialists and the scientific community have offered various options for actions aimed at mitigating (eliminating) accumulated and continuing to intensify structural deformations, some measures (programs) have been implemented in whole or in part. In addition, the modern actualization of import substitution processes should also have a significant impact on the structure of the economy and industry, in particular. As a result, there is a need to assess the direction and intensity of structural changes in industrial production over the period 1991–2023, as a result of which it is possible to judge the degree of impact and effectiveness of implemented measures, including in the field of import substitution, on the structure of industry. In the article, this assessment is carried out on the example of the Irkutsk region. According to calculations, the conclusion is made about the preservation and deepening of the raw materials specialization of the industry of the Irkutsk region, despite the measures taken. The key factor was the implementation of major investment projects in the field of oil and gas production, as well as their transportation, which led to a significant increase in the share of extractive industries. At the same time, there is a point-by-point growth in some manufacturing industries, including high-tech ones, which does not affect the structural dynamics as a whole, but proves the effectiveness of the measures taken in the field of import substitution and the development of manufacturing industries.

Medium-term trends in economic and technological development of metals industry regions

Since metals industry regions are dependent on the location of production resources and infrastructure, as well as have highly capital-intensive production, they usually feature a slowly changing industrial and technological structure of production. In line with the hypothesis of the study, the technological structure of the manufacturing industry determines the differences in their economic development. The study aims to explore the medium-term trends and patterns in economic and technological development of the metals industry regions. The methodological basis of the research is the structural dynamic approach to studying regional economic development. The methods include multivariate data analysis and clustering algorithms, time series estimation and correlation analysis. The study uses the data on large and medium-sized enterprises by types of economic activities for 2006–2021 taken from an information and analytics system FIRA PRO. According to the findings, the Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Lipetsk, Vologda and Tula oblasts are metals industry regions. The identified medium-term trends in their economic development show different dynamics of input and output indicators of production both by all types of economic activities and in metals industry in particular. The study proves that the dynamics of metals industry regions’ development largely depends on technological characteristics of the manufacturing industry. The results of the research contribute to the understanding of the adaptation mechanisms of regions’ industry to the changing conditions of external environment.

Industrial legacy towards modern urban environment: a comparative study of Wroclaw and Brno

The paper examines the spatial structure of industrial production in the urban environment of two Central European cities, Wroclaw and Brno, and their changes during the transformation from centrally controlled to capitalist economies. The study used mapping techniques to analyse the spatial distribution of industrial activities, focusing on the representation of industrial sectors and major industrial enterprises in both cities. The research aimed to evaluate the spatial impacts of deindustrialization on the urban environment and subsequently interpret the functional and structural changes in the cities. Standard methodological procedures in regional sciences, including descriptive statistics and ArcGIS visualization, were employed. The results revealed similarities and differences in the transformation of the two cities and indicated the substantial scale of their post-industrial transformation. Major structural changes have occurred since the 1990s. The last two decades have been directed towards creating modern post-industrial environments while retaining the significant and visible industrial heritage.

Regional economy of Donbass: Integration and development of industry, trade, and services

Subject. The article addresses problems of integration of the Donetsk region into the economy of the Russian Federation. Objectives. The focus is on the analysis of the dynamics and structure of industrial production, development of the service sector in the Donetsk People's Republic, determination of industry specialization of Donbass. Methods. The study employs economic and statistical research methods. Results. The findings enable to state that Donbass retains the status of an industrial territory. Conclusions. It is crucial to increase the activity of financial, innovative, industrial, trade, and other sectors of the economy of Donbass. This will accelerate its integration into the economic space of the Russian Federation.

ПРОСТРАНСТВЕННОЕ РАЗВИТИЕ КАК ФАКТОР ФОРМИРОВАНИЯ ИНВЕСТИЦИОННОЙ ПРИВЛЕКАТЕЛЬНОСТИ РЕГИОНА

The article examines the importance and role of investments, which are a key factor in the development of the region's economy. The main features of the concept of "investment" are highlighted and characterized. The analysis of the state of the problem is carried out on the basis of statistical data of the Federal State Statistics Service and data obtained from open sources, including official websites. 
 In the course of the study, a brief overview of scientific ideas about the content of the concept of "spatial development" was carried out. It was found that spatial development and investment attractiveness are closely related to each other. It is shown that when developing a spatial development strategy, it is necessary to apply a systematic approach taking into account the manifested interrelations of all elements 
 The interrelation of investment attractiveness and spatial development of the region is revealed on the example of the Voronezh region. One of the main characteristics of investment processes in the region is the structure of investments in fixed assets. The article analyzes data on investments in fixed assets, taking into account the investment activity of small businesses and the volume of investments not observed by direct statistical methods. The analysis of the state of the problem is carried out on the basis of statistical data of the Federal State Statistics Service, data obtained from open sources, including official websites. In the course of the study, investments in fixed assets in the Russian Federation and in the Voronezh region were analyzed. The assessment of the level of investment attractiveness is given, the main tasks of the coordination body for the investment development of the Voronezh region are briefly highlighted.
 The main factors that influenced the positive dynamics of investments are highlighted, as well as weaknesses in the strategic direction of enhancing investment activity in the region are identified. 
 From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the state of investment activity in the Voronezh region has unstable growth trends, in particular investments in fixed assets. The structure of industrial production is mainly focused on local markets.
 In conclusion, the main aspects of the relationship between investment attractiveness and spatial development of the region are summarized closely, closely related to each other. Recommendations are given to increase the investment attractiveness of the Voronezh region for further spatial development of the region. As a result of the study, the main factors that influenced spatial development as a factor in the formation of the investment attractiveness of the Voronezh region were identified.

PROSPECTS FOR THE TECHNOLOGICAL RE-EQUIPMENT OF INDUSTRY IN THE EUROPEAN AND ASIAN PARTS OF RUSSIA

The article assesses the state of industry and manufacturing in the European and Asian parts of Russia. The prospects for the development of industry as a whole and its manufacturing industries in the near future are assessed from the point of view of realizing the intentions to create technological sovereignty and increase demand for domestic industrial products. It is possible that this may entail shifts in the territorial distribution of processing, in particular, due to a shift in development priorities to the Asian part of the country, especially since recently there has been an increase in Asian landmarks in geopolitical terms. With the help of calculations based on the panel data model, a quantitative assessment of the impact of investment dynamics on the dynamics of industrial growth for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation over a long period was obtained. Calculations showed that, despite the fact that investments in industrial production in the Asian part of Russia grew at a faster rate than in the European part, due to their lower return, they did not lead to a fundamental change in the territorial structure of industrial production. With the help of aggregated indicators calculated by the method of principal components, an assessment was made of the potential of manufacturing industries in the macroregions of the country. Based on the values of the calculated indicators, it was concluded that there have been no significant positive changes in the state of processing of the Asian part of the country over the last decade of the current century, despite significant investment in its development in 2018-2021. In general, the overall potential of the manufacturing industries in this part of the country cannot yet be considered as essential in achieving the emerging strategic tasks.

Industrial development in Russia: the study of sectoral structure

The article deals with the issues of studying the sectoral structure of the economy of the Russian Federation and the transformation of the sectoral structure of industry. A sample of macroeconomic indicators characterizing the structure of industrial production by gross value added, the number of employed personnel, the value of exports for the period 1990-2022 was formed and analyzed. Open statistical data consolidated by the UN International Organization for Industrial Development (UNIDO) and Rosstat were used. Calculations of structural shifts in the manufacturing industry of the Russian Federation have been carried out. The article shows that the sectoral structure of the Russian economy has undergone tremendous structural transformations. During the period under review, the sectoral structure of industry in terms of gross value added was significantly transformed: the share of oil refining, chemical industry, metallurgy is increasing, while the share of machine-building and instrument-making is decreasing. In the sectoral structure of employment, the share of high-tech industries such as machine building and electronics and agriculture is decreasing, while the share of employment in trade and construction, transportation and communication is increasing. In the sectoral structure of exports, the share of manufacturing industries is decreasing and the share of extractive industries is increasing. It is concluded that for a long time the sectoral structure of the Russian economy has been under the influence of deindustrialization.

АНАЛИЗ СТРУКТУРНОГО РАЗВИТИЯ ПРОМЫШЛЕННОГО ПРОИЗВОДСТВА В РЕГИОНАХ РОССИЙСКОЙ АРКТИКИ

The aim of the study was to identify the key trends in the structural development of industrial production in the regions of the Russian Arctic. Based on the share of industrial activity in the gross value added, the total volume of investment in fixed capital, and the number of employees, the authors analyzed structural shifts and assessed changes in the structure of industrial production in nine regions that are fully or partially located in the Russian Arctic. To quantitatively measure structural transformations, we used indices such as the structural shift mass, the index of the difference between two structures (Ryabtsev index), and the quadratic coefficient of absolute structural shifts (Kazinets index). The study found that over the period 2005–2020, the main trend in the structural transformations of industrial production in the regions of the Russian Arctic was the growing economic dominance and investment attractiveness of industries associated with the extraction of minerals. It is shown that the pace of structural shifts in the industry of the Arctic regions had a clear dependence on the phase of the economic cycle: during crises, the deviations of the shares of structural elements in all the structures under study increased markedly compared to the subsequent periods of economic activity. This dependence confirms the significant transformational impact of geopolitical and geoeconomic processes on the existing system of economic activity in the Arctic, indicating the need for further research on this topic in light of the recent large-scale crises of 2020–2022. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the use of multiple parameters that allow for assessing the scale of structural transformations taking place in the industrial production of Arctic regions more fully and deeply. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the results in developing regional strategies and programs for the socioeconomic development of the Arctic.

Foresight as a tool for implementing the directions of new industrialization

The subject of the study is the process of reindustrialization in the old industrial region, where the main development resources are preserved, but the activity level of innovative processes is insufficient.The purpose of the study is the possibility of applying foresight methods in the implementation of neoindustrialization projects in the region.The methodology includes a monographic study of the industrialization processes dynamics, a comparative analysis of procedures for changing the structure of industrial production, and a foresight conducting methodology.The main result of the study is the substantiation of the choice of the most effective method of applying foresight, as well as the construction of a reindustrialization roadmap on the example of the Voronezh region. The application of these results is possible in other territorial entities (region, municipal unit) involved in the implementation of foresight projects for the development of industry.Prospects: research development - creation of a model methodology for the use of foresights in the implementation of large-scale complex projects at the regional level.Conclusions: the use of foresight in determining the prospects for the revival of the high-tech industry will help to increase the efficiency of decisions to attract resources to the development of priority benchmark, industrial production.

СОЦИАЛЬНО-ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКОЕ РАЗВИТИЕ ТЕРРИТОРИЙ В ЗОНЕ ВЛИЯНИЯ БАМ: СОВЕТСКИЕ ПЛАНЫ И РОССИЙСКИЕ РЕАЛИИ

The article compares the Soviet plans for the development of the territories adjacent to the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM) with the Russian realities, the comparison is made with regard to the main industries and enterprises. The research is based on the analysis of indicators from scientific works of the Soviet period, municipal reports on socio-economic development, and SPARK-Interfax database. Based on the data of SPARK-Interfax, the index of the industrial structure diversity is calculated. The study revealed the maximum development in: large cities with an almost fully formed industrial structure; some smaller centers in the western part of the BAM specializing in the forest industry; territories where natural resources to be sold on the world market are extracted. The western regions of the BAM area were found to be more developed at the post-Soviet stage than the eastern regions, largely due to the smaller share of mechanical engineering in the structure of industrial production. The development of the territories adjacent to the BAM is characterized by an export-resource orientation that is hypertrophied in comparison with the planned parameters. The coal, oil and gas, and gold mining industries showed the greatest development due to the positive trends in the world market of natural resources in the 1990s–2000s and high opportunities for obtaining foreign currency assets through exports. The least developed industries include the extraction of non-ferrous metal ores, the forestry industry and pulp and paper industry, as well as metallurgy, which is for a number of reasons: the lack of basic industrial assets in these industries, the lack of infrastructure, low demand in domestic and foreign markets, and lower cost of final products. The greatest diversity in the structure of industry is characteristic of relatively large cities in the eastern districts of the BAM (Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Tynda) and the western districts as a whole (Bratsk; Bratsky, Taishetsky, and Ust-Kutsky districts).

ИССЛЕДОВАНИЕ ДИНАМИКИ ПРОИЗВОДСТВА ПРОМЫШЛЕННОЙ ПРОДУКЦИИ ДВОЙНОГО НАЗНАЧЕНИЯ НА МЕЖДУНАРОДНЫХ РЫНКАХ В УСЛОВИЯХ ГЛОБАЛИЗАЦИИ ЭКОНОМИКИ

The purpose of this study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the production of dual-use products in Russia and the EU countries, using the industrial production index as an indicator. The research methodology includes a systematic review, starting with a general assessment of the situation in the countries under consideration and moving on to an analysis of dynamics in industrial sectors. Particular attention is paid to the volume of the industrial production index, emphasizing the importance of the production of dual-use products, pricing features and its impact on the overall index. The result of this study allows us to conclude that the volumes and growth rates of manufacturing dual-use products in Russia show positive dynamics. However, to further increase these volumes, the possibility of diversifying the structure of industrial production should be considered. This conclusion emphasizes the need for a more in-depth analysis of the factors influencing the structure and efficiency of industrial production.

РЕЗУЛЬТАТЫ ОЦЕНКИ ВЗАИМОСВЯЗИ И НТЕГРАЦИОННЫХ ПРОЦЕССОВ И ПРОМЫШЛЕННОГО РАЗВИТИЯ В ЕАЭС

The article evaluates the results of achieving the goals of the Eurasian Economic Union and the goals of industrial development in the period from 2017 to 2021. This assessment is based on groups of economic indicators related to the goals of Eurasian integration and industrial development. The results of the assessment show that the development of integration processes has influenced the industrial development of the EAEU in terms of providing conditions for stimulating the consumption of goods of the member states by reducing producer costs due to the creation of free movement of goods, services, capital and labor. At the same time, it is proved that the structure of industrial production has not undergone significant changes (with the exception of certain countries) and the share of production of high-tech goods remains at a low level.

The curse of coal or peripherality? Energy transitions and the socioeconomic transformation of Czech coal mining and post-mining regions

Abstract New empirical evidence regarding theories of the resource curse and regional resilience in the context of energy transitions is presented in this article. Our analysis aimed to answer the questions of what the principal differences are between coal mining and other regions in the Czech Republic, and what are the determinants of population decline, unemployment and populism as some of the key indicators of socioeconomic transformation. Unlike most current European studies focusing on NUTS2 or NUTS3 regions, we deal with data for districts (LAU1). The analysis revealed that (in aggregate) coal mining and post-mining districts are worse off in terms of air quality, population vitality, labour market and social capital indicators. It would be problematic for policy implications to consider coal mining and post-mining districts as homogenous categories, however, since there are significant inter-group and intra-group differences in most indicators. Coal mining itself and its decline did not prove to be a direct determinant of population loss, unemployment, and support for populism. The factors significantly affecting these phenomena are geographical (peripherality, urbanisation, population density) and socioeconomic (education level, business activity). In this respect, a provocative question is offered: to what extent is it effective and sustainable to economically support coal mining regions in their existing industrial production structures and population scales, and whether the current processes of reterritorialisation and depopulation can be considered a natural process. The fact that coal mining districts are at the forefront in the implementation of wind energy may be seen as positive, but it raises questions about spatial concentration, and the environmental justice of renewable energy development.

Social and ecological prerequisites for the development of innovative nature management in the communities in Lviv region

Purpose. Based on the analysis of socio-ecological conditions for the development of innovative nature management in the communities in Lviv region, to determine the main factors of innovative industrial production. Methods. Analysis, synthesis, comparison. Results. The concept of "industrial nature management in the community" is covered. We described the socio-ecological conditions for the development of innovative nature management and the main factors of innovative industrial nature management in modern decentralization within the newly created territorial communities are as follows: technology, legislation in the field of innovation, demand for innovative products, information and investment resources, highly skilled labor, efficiency of management.. Innovative activity within the enterprises of Lviv region and the state of the technological structure of industrial production in the region are characterized. Attention is paid to the possibility of structural restructuring of industrial nature management.The peculiarities of the development of innovative nature management within the Lviv region, the mechanisms of stimulating investment and innovative development of territorial communities are highlighted. The concept of "industrial park" is considered, as well as the concept of creating industrial parks. The functional purpose of nine industrial parks, which are planned to be created within the territory of Lviv region, is described. The industrial zoning of the region is highlighted and the main industrial centers within them are characterized. Conclusions. Structural restructuring of industrial nature management should be based on optimizing the use of existing in the community natural resource, socio-economic, cultural and historical potentials, optimizing the directions and scale of nature management. At the same time, the least environmentally harmful industries deserve the priority development.

ECONOMIC TRENDS OF UKRAINE’S DEVELOPMENT AND PRIORITIES OF REALIZATION OF NATIONAL ECONOMY POTENTIAL

The aim of the article is to analyze the state and trends of Ukraine’s economy at the current stage of its development, as well as to substantiate the strategic priorities of state policy to overcome challenges and ensure better realization of the potential of Ukraine’s national economy. The study reveals the urgency of the problem of forming and effective use of Ukraine’s economic growth potential. The analysis of the structure of the population of Ukraine (by the status of labor force, employed and unemployed) in 2010-2021. The situation regarding wages and arrears of its payment in the types of economic activity of the economy of Ukraine is analyzed. The dynamics of volumes of industrial products sold by domestic enterprises in 2010-2021, including by industries of Ukraine, is reflected. The structure of domestic industrial production as of January 2022 is described. The information on indices of construction products and agriculture, forestry and fisheries in Ukraine in 2015-2021 is given. The analysis of positions of economy of Ukraine in the world rating of digital competitiveness is carried out. The key problematic aspects and obstacles to the realization of Ukraine’s economic potential are summarized, in particular, the deterioration of intellectual and human resources and the growth of the volume and level of unemployment; low level of wages and increase in arrears of wages; irrational structure and small volumes of industrial production; instability of production and sales of products of the real sector of the economy; weak positions of big business entities; low innovation and technological activity and the ability to carry out full-scale digital transformation of the national economy. The applied significance of the research results is that the strategic priorities of the systemic state policy of establishing an effective model of economic growth in Ukraine, namely – the diversification of international economic relations and foreign trade; ensuring the stability and independence of the financial system of the state; convergence of the social security system with leading international practices; realization of the potential of “drivers” of economic sovereignty and development; strengthening energy independence, increasing energy efficiency and savings; building and improving the capacity of critical infrastructure elements; ensuring the functional and structural integration of the economic complex.

STATE AND PROBLEMS OF ECONOMIC SECURITY OF ENTERPRISES OF THE REAL SECTOR OF UKRAINE’S ECONOMY

The purpose of the article is to analyze and generalize the current state and development trends of domestic business entities of the real sector of the national economy of Ukraine in the context of the establishment of prerequisites for their economic security. The article focuses on the relevance of the study of the current state of economic security in the real sector of the national economy of Ukraine. The analysis of production volumes and sales of products by industrial enterprises was carried out. The structure of industrial production in Ukraine is analyzed from the point of view of the economic security of domestic enterprises. The characteristics of the main indicators of the development of industrial enterprises of Ukraine in the context of ensuring their economic security are given. The key indicators of the development of industrial enterprises in the system of functioning of the national economy of Ukraine have been demonstrated. The key indicators of the volume and efficiency of the functioning of enterprises in such branches of the national economy of Ukraine as agriculture, agrarian and construction sectors, transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities, transport and communication are summarized. Conclusions are made in the context of modern trends in the development of domestic enterprises of the real sector of the national economy and their impact on the prerequisites for ensuring the economic security of economic entities. It is proved that the development of industry and the real sector of the economy of Ukraine has a controversial nature with signs of uncertainty in the direction of progress, lack of stable financial support for production, in particular products with high added value, and investment guarantee for innovative and technological modernization. Based on the results of the indicative and structural-temporal analysis, the existential challenges of the development and preservation of financial security of the priority sectors of the economy were determined. The applied value of the research results lies in the identification of problematic aspects of the state and development trends of domestic enterprises of the real sector of the national economy in the context of ensuring their economic security. The scientific novelty of the research results lies in the improvement of the methodology for identifying the conditions for ensuring the economic security of enterprises.
