Influence of implant distribution on the biomechanical behaviors of mandibular implant-retained overdentures: a three-dimensional finite element analysis

ObjectiveTo assess stress distribution in peri-implant bone and attachments of mandibular overdentures retained by small diameter implants, and to explore the impact of implant distribution on denture stability.MethodsThrough three-dimensional Finite Element Analysis (3D FEA), four models were established: three models of a two mandibular implants retained overdenture (IOD) and one model of a conventional complete denture (CD). The three IOD models consisted of one with two implants in the bilateral canine area, another with implants in the bilateral lateral incisor area, and the third with one implant in the canine area, and another in the lateral incisor area. Three types of loads were applied on the overdenture for each model: a 100 N vertical load and a inclined load on the left first molar, and a100N vertical load on the lower incisors. The stress distribution in the peri-implant bone, attachments, and the biomechanical behaviors of the overdentures were analyzed.ResultsDespite different distribution of implants, the maximum stress values in peri-implant bone remained within the physiological threshold for all models across three loading conditions. The dispersed implant distribution design (implant in the canine area) exhibited the highest maximum stress in peri-implant bone (822.8 µe) and the attachments (275 MPa) among the three IOD models. The CD model demonstrated highest peak pressure on mucosa under three loading conditions (0.8188 Mpa). The contact area between the denture and mucosa of the CD model was smaller than that in the IOD models under molar loading, yet it was larger in the CD model compared to the IOD model under anterior loading. However, the contact area between the denture and mucosa under anterior loading in all models was significantly smaller than those under molar loading. The IOD in all three models exhibited significantly less rotational movement than the complete denture. Different implant positions had minimal impact on the rotational movement of the IOD.ConclusionIOD with implants in canine area exhibited the highest maximum stress in the peri-implant bone and attachments, and demonstrated increased rotational movement. The maximum principal stress was concentrated around the neck of the small diameter one-piece implant, rather than in the abutment. An overdenture retained by two implants showed better stability than a complete denture.

A Pilot Study to Evaluate the Influence of Implant Supported Prosthesis Framework Material on the Stress Distribution in Peri-Implant Bone in Anterior Mandible: A Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis

Context: Original research. Aims: The aim of the present study to evaluate the effects of prosthetic material on the stress distribution of implant-supported prosthesis in the bone around implants using finite element analysis and to draw a comparison so as to which material causes the least amount of stress on the bone. Settings and Design: In vitro finite element analysis - Comparative study. Methods and Materials: Models of the implants and the mandible were constructed using SOLID WORKS software and then they were transferred to another software ANSYS Work bench for FEA. A four-unit prosthesis was designed in the region of anterior mandible with implants being placed in 32 and 42 regions. The prosthesis was made of different materials in different models, M1 was of made of cobalt chromium framework, M2 was made of Titanium framework, M3 was made of zirconia framework each with layered ceramic. M4 was a monolithic zirconia prosthesis. The values of the Von Mises stresses generated in the implant, superstructure and alveolar bone around were calculated. The total deformation and stress generated in different models were calculated and compared. Statistical analysis used: Von mises Stress Analysis, Unpaired t test. Results: Zirconia and Monolithic zirconia showed comparatively less total deformation and stress levels in peri-implant bone. Titanium prosthesis caused less total deformation and stress distribution as compared to cobalt chromium. Conclusions: The distribution of stress in peri implant bone is evidently dependent on the prosthesis material and different materials cause different amount of deformations as they differ in their clinical properties.

Finite element analysis of narrow dental implants

Narrow-diameter implants (NDIs) traditionally have been associated to higher rates of failure in comparison with regular-diameter implants (RDIs) and wide-diameter implants (WDIs), since they generate a more unfavorable stress distribution in peri-implant bone. However, it is well known that the load sharing effect associated with prostheses supported by multiple implants (also called splinted prostheses) affords mechanical benefits. The present study involves finite element analysis (FEA) to determine whether the risks linked to NDIs could be mitigated by the mechanical advantages afforded by the splinting concept. For this purpose, a three-dimensional (3D) model of a real maxilla was reconstructed from computed tomography (CT) images, and different implants (NDIs, RDIs and WDIs) and prostheses were created using computer-aided design (CAD) tools. Biting forces were simulated on the prostheses corresponding to three different rehabilitation solutions: single-implant restoration, three-unit bridge and all-on-four treatment. Stress distribution around the implants was calculated, and overloading in bone was quantified within peri-implant volumes enclosed by cylinders with a diameter 0.1mm greater than that of each implant. The mechanical benefits of the splinting concept were confirmed: the peri-implant overloaded volume around NDIs splinted by means of the three-unit bridge was significantly reduced in comparison with the nonsplinted condition and, most importantly, proved even smaller than that around nonsplinted implants with a larger diameter (RDIs). However, splinted NDIs supporting the all-on-four prosthesis led to the highest risk of overloading found in the study, due to the increase in compressive stress generated around the tilted implant when loading the cantilevered molar.

Finite element analysis of stress distribution around short and long implants in mandibular overdenture treatment

Optimal stress distribution around implants plays an important role in the success of mandibular overdentures. This study sought to assess the pattern of stress distribution around short (6 mm) and long (10 mm) implants in mandibular two implant-supported overdentures using finite element analysis (FEA). In this descriptive and experimental study two implant-supported overdenture models with bar and clip attachment system on an edentulous mandible were used. Two vertical implants were connected by a bar. The implant length was 6 mm (short implant) in the first and 10 mm (long implant) in the second model. Vertical loads (35, 65, and 100 N) were applied bilaterally to the second molar area. In another analysis, vertical loads of 43.3 N and 21.6 N were applied to working and nonworking sides, respectively, at the second molar area. Furthermore, the lateral force (17.5 N) was applied to the canine area of overdenture. The stress distribution pattern around implants was analyzed using FEA. The maximum von Mises stress was 57, 106, and 164 MPa around short implants and 64, 118, and 172 MPa around long implants following the application of 35, 65, and 100 N bilateral forces, respectively. Application of bilateral loads created 87 and 65 MPa stress around working and nonworking short implants, respectively; while these values were reported to be 92 and 76 MPa for long implants at the working and nonworking sides, respectively. Increasing the vertical loads increased the level of stress distributed around the implants; however, no considerable differences were noted between long and short implants for similar forces. Following unequal load application, the stress in the working side bone was more than that in the nonworking side, but no major differences were noted in similar areas around long and short implants. Following lateral load application, the stress distributed in the peri-implant bone at the force side was more than that in the opposite side. In similar areas, no notable differences were observed between long and short implants regarding the maximum stress values. Using implants with different lengths in mandibular overdenture caused no major changes in stress distribution in peri-implant bone; short implants were somehow comparable to long implants.

The effect of implant neck microthread design on stress distribution of peri-implant bone with different level: A finite element analysis

Background/purposeSignificant research has proposed that the implant with microthread in the neck can significantly reduce marginal bone loss, but whether it is consistent in the condition of marginal bone loss is still unknown. The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of microthread on stress distribution in peri-implant bone with different bone level using finite element analysis. Materials and methodsA series of computational models of mandible segments with different bone resorption and implant models with or without microthread in the neck was installed by computer-aided design software. The simulated occlusal force of 150N was applied buccolingually on the top center point of implant. The FEA was performed, and the von Mises stress, principal stress and shear stress in peri-implant bone were recorded and analyzed. ResultsIn all models, the T-neck group exhibits higher von Mises stress and principal stress, as well as lower shear stress than S-neck group. Three types of stresses increase with the depth of bone resorption developed, but the differences of shear stress between two groups of implants were gradually decreased. ConclusionThe micro-thread design in implant neck can reduce marginal bone loss by decreasing shear stress in peri-implant bone, but this effect is gradually weakened with the decline of the marginal bone level.

Comparison of the periimplant bone stress distribution on three fixed partial supported prosthesis designs under different loading. A 3D finite element analysis

ABSTRACTDespite high success and survival rates of implant-supported prosthesis therapy, biomechanical complications such as periimplant bone resorption continue to exist due to occlusal overloading. The purpose of this article is to analyse and compare the influence of bone density, direction and distribution of the occlusal load and the design of three-unit implant-supported prostheses. Three-dimensional finite element analysis study was developed to evaluate the influence on the periimplant bone stress distribution of three different designs of a 3-unit bridge supported by two implants (intermediate pontic, tilted implant, cantilever pontic), two different bone qualities (D3 and D4), and different loading directions (axial and non-axial) and distributions (uniform and non-uniform). Bridge configuration with intermediate pontic and parallel implants presents the lowest periimplant stress, whereas the highest stress was found on the tilted implant bridge. Bone D3 is biomechanically more favourable than D4. Non-axial and uniform loading conditions produce more periimplant stress. Distal cantilever and 45° convergent distal tilted implant are the second and third treatment options on a posterior three-unit rehabilitation. Lightening occlusal contacts on the pontic and avoiding non-axial loading, reduce periimplant bone stress. Bone D4 increases periimplant bone strain.

The effect of different occlusal contact situations on peri-implant bone stress – A contact finite element analysis of indirect axial loading

Implant restoration is one of the basic treatments in dentistry today, yet implant loss from occlusal overload is still a problem. Complex biomechanical problems such as occlusal overload are often analyzed by means of the finite element method. This numerical method makes it possible to analyze in detail the influence that different loading situations have upon implants and tissues, which is a key element in optimizing these dental procedures.This study was designed to investigate the stress distribution in peri-implant bone of a single-tooth implant crown using the finite element method. The load was applied indirectly via an occluding tooth through a three and five contact setup into the implant crown. The friction coefficient values between the crown and antagonist were varied between 0.1 and 1.0. Additionally, three crowns with cusp inclinations of 20°, 30° and 40° were modeled. Non-linear contact computations indicated that an increase in friction changed the direction and magnitude of contact forces, which also led to reduced stresses in the bone. Furthermore, the stress magnitudes were higher when cusps of a greater inclination were used. The intensity of stress alterations was strongly dependent on the distribution and number of contacts, and the contact force vector. In maximum intercuspation, a resulting axial load due to well-distributed contacts prevented high stresses in bone even with high cusp inclinations and low friction. Therefore for long-term clinical success, particular attention should be paid to occlusal adjustment so as to prevent oblique loading onto dental implant restorations.

Effect of Implant-Abutment Connection Type on Stress Distribution in Peri-Implant Bone and Abutment Micromovement: A Three-Dimensional Finite Element Analysis.

This study assessed the effect of implant-abutment connection type on stress distribution in peri-implant bone and abutment micromovement using finite-element analysis (FEA). Dimensions of three implant-abutment designs were measured by a three-dimensional scanner and transferred to SOLIDWORKS. An elemental model was designed using ABAQUS. Each implant was placed in bone at the crestal level. A 100-N load was applied at a 45° angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the implant in the buccolingual direction from the palatal toward the buccal and coronal parts of the abutment. Shear stress, von Mises stress, and micromovement of the abutment relative to the fixture were analyzed. Data were reported qualitatively and quantitatively using ABAQUS. The von Mises stress in all three samples decreased from the crest toward the apical area and was distributed homogenously. Maximum stress concentration was at the most coronal part of the implant body in the midbuccal area. In cancellous and cortical bone, stress decreased from the crest toward the palate and was at its maximum at the midbuccal point in the bone crest. Stress in cortical bone was more homogenous and in cancellous bone was higher. Shear stress was higher in the buccal than in the palatal area, and at its maximum shear stress and equal in the mesiobuccal and distobuccal areas. Micromovement was 4.25 μm in an Astra implant, 5.42 μm in a Intra-Lock implant, and 6.63 μm in an SPI implant. The distribution of von Mises and shear stress was the same in bone around the three implant connection types; however, abutment micomovement differed.

Finite-Element Analysis of Stress and Strain in Mandibular Overdentures Supported by Splinted versus Nonsplinted Implants.

The objective of the current study is to investigate the relative effect of splinted and nonsplinted implants on stress and strain in the supporting tissue around implants in two-implant-supported mandibular overdentures. Two models of mandibular overdentures using locators (nonsplinted implants) and bar locators (splinted implants) were constructed, and a vertical load of 100 N was placed on the central fossa of the mandibular first molar. Stress and strain values were obtained using three-dimensional finite-element analysis (ANSYS R18.0). Splinting reduced stress in peri-implant bone in the ipsilateral implant by half and in the contralateral implant by a quarter. Greater stress and a rise in strain from 59 to 79 με in the posterior ridge were also observed with splinting. The model with splinted implants showed more favorable stress distribution in peri-implant bone, perhaps due to better distribution through the bar and the posterior ridge. These findings should be corroborated with clinical studies.

Mandibular Flexure and Peri-Implant Bone Stress Distribution on an Implant-Supported Fixed Full-Arch Mandibular Prosthesis: 3D Finite Element Analysis.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the effect of three mandibular full-arch superstructures on the peri-implant bone stress distribution during mandibular flexure caused by mid-opening (27 mm) and protrusion mandibular movements. Materials and Methods Three-dimensional finite element models were created simulating six osseointegrated implants in the jawbone. One model simulated a 1-piece framework and the other simulated 2-piece and 3-piece frameworks. Muscle forces with definite direction and magnitude were exerted over areas of attachment to simulate multiple force vectors of masticatory muscles during mandibular protrusion and opening. Results During the movement of 27.5 mm jaw opening, the 1-piece and 3-piece superstructures showed the lowest values of bone stress around the mesial implants, gradually increasing towards the distal position. During the protrusion movement, bone stress increased compared to opening for any implant situation and for a divided or undivided framework. The 3-piece framework showed the highest values of peri-implant bone stress, regardless of the implant situation. Conclusions The undivided framework provides the best biomechanical environment during mandibular protrusion and opening. Protrusion movement increases the peri-implant bone stress. The most mesial implants have the lowest biomechanical risk.

Stress distribution in the transitional peri-implant bone in a single implant-supported prosthesis with platform-switching under different angulated loads.

A 3D finite element analysis was conducted to evaluate and compare the stress distribution in the peri-implant bone (transitional cortical and trabecular bone) of one single implant-supported crown with platform switching and another without platform switching, under a vertical and an oblique load. Two models were created, simulating an osseointegrated implant (4×13mm, platform 4.1mm) embedded in the jaw bone. One model simulated a 4.1-mm diameter abutment connection (conventional model) and the other a 3.8-mm diameter abutment connection (platform-switching model). A crown with a Co-Cr alloy framework and feldspathic porcelain veneering was applied over the titanium abutment. Static, vertical and oblique loads (0°, 15°, 30°, 45°) with a maximum value of 150N were applied to the crown. For any inclination of the applied load, the stress values in the transitional cortical bone were lower in the platform-switching model than in the conventional model. However, the stress in the transitional trabecular bone was higher in the platform-switching model than in the conventional model. Stress values increased when the load was more oblique at the transitional cortical bone in both models and was slightly reduced at the transitional trabecular bone of the conventional model. The platform-switching technique reduces the stress at the transitional cortical bone. In both models, this stress gradually increases as the load becomes more inclined. The transitional trabecular bone shows lower stress values than the transitional cortical bone. The location of stress is similar in both models.

Effect of Integration Patterns Around Implant Neck on Stress Distribution in Peri-Implant Bone: A Finite Element Analysis.

To investigate the biomechanical performance of different osseointegration patterns between cortical bone and implants using finite element analysis. Fifteen finite element models were constructed of the mandibular fixed prosthesis supported by implants. Masticatory loads (200 N axial, 100 N oblique, 40 N horizontal) were applied. The cortical bone/implant interface was divided equally into four layers: upper, upper-middle, lower-middle, and lower. The bone stress and implant displacement were calculated for 5 degrees of uniform integration (0, 20%, 40%, 60%, and 100%) and 10 integration patterns. The stress was concentrated in the bone margin and gradually decreased as osseointegration progressed, when the integrated and nonintegrated areas were alternated on the bone-implant surface. Compared with full integration, the integration of only the lower-middle layer or lower half layers significantly decreased von Mises, tensile, and compressive stresses in cortical bone under oblique and horizontal loads, and these patterns did not induce higher stress in the cancellous bone. For the integration of only the upper or upper-middle layer, stress in the cortical and cancellous bones significantly increased and was considerably higher than in the case of nonintegration. In addition, the maximum stress in the cortical bone was sensitive to the quantity of integrated nodes at the bone margin; lower quantity was associated with higher stress. There was no significant difference in the displacement of implants among 15 models. Integration patterns of cortical bone significantly affect stress distribution in peri-implant bone. The integration of only the lower-middle or lower half layers helps to increase the load-bearing capacity of peri-implant bone and decrease the risk of overloading, while upper integration may further increase the risk of bone resorption.

A Comparative Analysis on Two Types of Oral Implants, Bone-Level and Tissue-Level, with Different Cantilever Lengths of Fixed Prosthesis.

Depending on esthetic, anatomical, and functional aspects, in implant-prosthetic restoration of a completely edentulous jaw, the selection of implant type is highly important; however, bone- and tissue-level implants and their stress distribution in bone have not yet been comparatively investigated. Hence, finite element analysis was used to study the influence of cantilever length in a fixed prosthesis on stress distribution in peri-implant bone around these two types of oral implants. A 3D edentulous mandible was modeled. In simulations, a framework with four posterior cantilever lengths and two types of implants, bone-level and tissue-level, was considered. A compressive load was applied to the distal regions of the cantilevers, and the von-Mises stress of peri-implant bone was investigated. The independent t-test and the Pearson correlation coefficient analyzed the results (α = 0.05). Stresses in the cortical bone around the bone-level implants were greater than those in the tissue-level implants with the same cantilever length. In addition, by extending the cantilever length, the stress values in peri-implant bone increased. Therefore, when the cantilever was at its maximum length, the maximum stress was in cortical bone and around the bone-level distal implants. The results of the present study indicate that treatment with tissue-level implants is potentially more advantageous than with bone-level implants for implant-supported fixed prostheses.

Effects of the implant design on peri-implant bone stress and abutment micromovement: three-dimensional finite element analysis of original computer-aided design models.

Occlusal overloading causes peri-implant bone resorption. Previous studies examined stress distribution in alveolar bone around commercial implants using three-dimensional (3D) finite element analysis. However, the commercial implants contained some different designs. The purpose of this study is to reveal the effect of the target design on peri-implant bone stress and abutment micromovement. Six 3D implant models were created for different implant-abutment joints: 1) internal joint model (IM); 2) external joint model (EM); 3) straight abutment (SA) shape; 4) tapered abutment (TA) shapes; 5) platform switching (PS) in the IM; and 6) modified TA neck design (reverse conical neck [RN]). A static load of 100 N was applied to the basal ridge surface of the abutment at a 45-degree oblique angle to the long axis of the implant. Both stress distribution in peri-implant bone and abutment micromovement in the SA and TA models were analyzed. Compressive stress concentrated on labial cortical bone and tensile stress on the palatal side in the EM and on the labial side in the IM. There was no difference in maximum principal stress distribution for SA and TA models. Tensile stress concentration was not apparent on labial cortical bone in the PS model (versus IM). Maximum principal stress concentrated more on peri-implant bone in the RN than in the TA model. The TA model exhibited less abutment micromovement than the SA model. This study reveals the effects of the design of specific components on peri-implant bone stress and abutment displacement after implant-supported single restoration in the anterior maxilla.

The effect of platform switching on stress distribution in implants and periimplant bone studied by nonlinear finite element analysis

It is unknown whether dental implant systems with a platform-switched configuration have better periimplant bone stress distribution and lead to less periimplant bone level changes. The purpose of this study was to quantitatively investigate interfacial stress and stress distribution in implant bonein 2 implant abutment designs (platform-switched design and conventional diameter matching) by using a nonlinear finite element analysis method. A finite element simulation study was applied to 2 commercially available dental implant systems: the Ankylos implant system with a reduced-diameter abutment (platform-switched implant) and the Anthogyr implant system with an abutment of the same diameter (regular platform implant). These 2 dental implant systems were positioned in a bone block, which was constructed based on a cross-sectional image of a human mandible in the molar region. In simulation, a single vertical load of 50 N, 100 N, or 150 N and horizontal loads of 50 N and 100 N were applied to the occlusal surface of the abutment. The finite element analysis found that the Ankylos implant system has a higher maximum von Mises stress in the implant abutment connection section and a lower maximum von Mises stress in the periimplant bone. The opposite results were found in the Anthogyr implant system. Lower stress levels in the periimplant bone with a more uniform stress distribution were found for the Ankylos implant system with a platform-switched configuration. Although relatively higher stress was found in the abutment, premature implant failure is not anticipated because of the high strength of titanium alloy.

Comparative stress analysis of delayed and immediate loading of a single implant in an edentulous maxilla model.

Stress distribution in peri-implant bone in an edentulous maxilla following delayed and immediate loading implant and the effect of implant length on the maximum stress were evaluated by using two kinds of finite element analyses. A threaded implant was loaded with a 100 N vertical force, either immediately or delayed, and examined by finite element analysis with a simple contact relation or a bonding interaction between the implant and the bone, respectively. Higher stresses were observed in cortical bone around the implant neck following delayed loading and in the trabecular bone around the implant threading in the immediate loading model. The maximum stress in the immediate loading model was dramatically higher than in delayed loading. Increased implant length caused decrease in bone stresses in both loading models. Though the stress level was higher, the decrease in the maximum trabecular bone stress in immediate loading was profound.

Stress distribution in the peri-implant bone with splinted and non-splinted implants by in vivo loading data-based finite element analysis

The aim of this study was to evaluate stress distribution in peri-implant bone and to investigate the influence of splinting implants by finite element analysis (FEA) with in vivo loading data. The magnitude and direction of the force exerted on implants during maximal voluntary clenching of a subject were recorded with 3-D piezoelectric force transducers. FEA using in vivo loading data was conducted on splinted and non-splinted models with two implants. Overall, the splinted model reduced stress in peri-implant bone in comparison with the non-splinted model.

Influence of microthreads and platform switching on stress distribution in bone using angled abutments

PurposeTo evaluate the stress distribution in peri-implant bone by simulating the effect of an implant with microthreads and platform switching on angled abutments through tridimensional finite element analysis. The postulated hypothesis was that the presence of microthreads and platform switching would reduce the stress concentration in the cortical bone. MethodsFour mathematical models of a central incisor supported by an implant (5.0mm×13mm) were created in which the type of thread surface in the neck portion (microthreaded or smooth) and the diameter of the angled abutment connection (5.0 and 4.1mm) were varied. These models included the RM (regular platform and microthreads), the RS (regular platform and smooth neck surface), the SM (platform switching and microthreads), and the SS (platform switching and smooth neck). The analysis was performed using ANSYS Workbench 10.0 (Swanson Analysis System). An oblique load (100N) was applied to the palatine surface of the central incisor. The bone/implant interface was considered to be perfectly integrated. Values for the maximum (σmax) and minimum (σmin) principal stress, the equivalent von Mises stress (σvM), and the maximum principal elastic strain (ɛmax) for cortical and trabecular bone were obtained. ResultsFor the cortical bone, the highest σmax (MPa) were observed for the RM (55.1), the RS (51.0), the SM (49.5), and the SS (44.8) models. The highest σvM (MPa) were found for the RM (45.4), the SM (42.1), the RS (38.7), and the SS models (37). The highest values for σmin were found for the RM, SM, RS and SS models. For the trabecular bone, the highest σmax values (MPa) were observed in the RS model (6.55), followed by the RM (6.37), SS (5.6), and SM (5.2) models. ConclusionThe hypothesis that the presence of microthreads and a switching platform would reduce the stress concentration in the cortical bone was partially rejected, mainly because the microthreads increased the stress concentration in cortical bone. Only platform switching reduced the stress in cortical bone.

Three‐dimensional finite element analysis of stress distribution in peri‐implant bone with relined dentures and different heights of healing caps

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of height of healing caps and the use of soft liner materials on the stress distribution in peri-implant bone during masticatory function in conventional complete dentures during the healing period by using finite element analysis. Three-dimensional models of a severely resorbed mandible with two recently placed implants in the anterior region were created and divided into the following situations: (i) submerged implants, (ii) healing cap at gingival level and (iii) 1·5-mm supragingival. All these situations were also analysed for a conventional complete denture and a denture relined with a 3-mm-thick layer of soft liner material. The models were exported to mechanical simulation software that presented two simulations, one with load in the inferior right canine (35 N) and the other in the inferior right first molar (50 N). Data were evaluated using Maximum Principal Stress provided by the software. All models showed a stress concentration in the cortical bone corresponding to the cervical part of the implant. The simulations with non-submerged implants showed higher values of stress concentration than those that were submerged. Likewise, soft liner materials presented better results than when the denture base was not relined. The height of the healing caps seems to have a direct influence on the stress distribution in the peri-implant bone during the healing period. Considering the values obtained in this study, the use of soft liners with submerged implants seems to be the most suitable method to use during the period of osseointegration.
