The Transmutation Weibull distribution is derived from the quadratic rank transmutation map of the Weibull distribution. This distribution integrates the high adaptability of the Weibull distribution in engineering and materials fields, and has great potential utility for modeling lifetime data. Therefore, the article explores the progressive stress accelerated life test model for components under the Transmutation Weibull distribution, conducts statistical analysis using the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE), Lindley’s approximation, and Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithm to provide approximate estimates for the model. Finally, by comparing the results of numerical simulations, it is confirmed that the Bayesian estimation is more accurate and effective.
