Strategic water resources management of Kuzbass

Efficient water resources management is the most important environmental priority of Kuzbass development strategy up to 2035. The priority is aimed at providing people with high-quality fresh water, protecting water supply sources from pollution and maintaining strategic security of water sources. Secure natural water supply can be maintained by creating efficient water resources management framework in the region. The author establishes the tasks which are essential for the priority’s realization. The main ones include building up a unified system of management of Kuzbass surface water and groundwater, implementation of efficient system of monitoring the state of water resources, development of the regional renewable hydrogeological pattern which will allow making reasonable managerial decisions. It is suggested to accumulate the functions of controlling and managing the surface water and groundwater resources in one Centre under the Government of Kuzbass to fulfill the tasks stated. The system of monitoring water pollution must be the key function of strategic management. The author suggests a scheme of a unified net of monitoring water resources that will be the basis for operative and efficient management of this important life support area. Fulfillment of the tasks stated will provide the opportunity for systemic assessment of ecological damage to natural waters and for determining the areas demanding immediate attention and restoration. They should become the basis for developing measures and project decisions on water resources restoration and protection from pollution and rehabilitation of polluted areas. As a result of the priority’s realization people will be provided with fresh water which is the essential condition of the decent quality of life.

Developing a Curriculum on Organisation Behavior Training From an African Perspective

The title of this book is: ‘Organisational Behavior from An African perspective.’ Take a close look at the society around you. You would find the existence of several organisations. To mention a few, the business organizations that produce goods or services, hospitals, religious and social institutions like charities, schools, colleges and universities. All these organisations exist to achieve pre-determined objectives. They affect our lives in many ways. Though there are vast differences in their functioning and approaches, they all strive to achieve certain objectives. It must also be noted that organizations cannot achieve the objectives effortlessly. They are achieved through systematic effort. Several activities have to be performed in a cohesive way. In the absence of systematic and cohesive performance of the activities to achieve the objectives, it is no wonder that the resources of organisations would be underutilized. As such, it is the function of the management to facilitate the performance of activities such that the accomplishment of the objectives becomes possible. It is common to hear from managers, CEOs, engineers, and all kind of professionals that organisational behavior (OB) is a key strategic issue and a source of competitive advantages of all organisations. Indeed, issues related to organisational behavior are among the most relevant decisions that managers need to take if they want to answer proactively to the challenges faced by the organisations. Having an MBA can be the answer. However, due to time and money constraints, not always these professionals are able to obtain a MBA. Not only the time and schedule needed to obtain the MBA are not compatible with their professional availability, but also the prices established by the most reputable business schools are not accessible to these professionals. Conscious of this reality, the authors of this book, have developed through this volume, a curriculum of subjects usually presented in an MBA programme, focusing on challenges managers face in their daily activities. The emphasis in this book are subjects related to strategic and operational human resource management, organisational behavior, equal opportunities and diversity management. Based on the core subjects presented in this book, everyone interested will be able to obtain the necessary knowledge that can be applied as a whole to a variety of real-world business situations. We thank all our colleagues who went through the first draft of the book. Dr Emmanuel Innocents Edoun of the Johannesburg University and Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria, Dr Polycarpe Feussi of the Johannesburg University in South Africa, Dr Lawrence Kok from the Vaal University of Technology in South Africa, and Dr Florence Nisabwe from the Foundation Lance d’Afrique Burundi were valuable assets during the write-up. Combined use of stable isotopes and hydrochemical characteristics to determine streamflow sources in the Jonkershoek catchment, South Africa

ABSTRACT The stable isotopes of water (18O, 2H) and other hydrochemical properties were used to assess seasonal changes between sources of stream water and flow pathways in baseflow conditions for two headwater sub-catchments (∼3 km2) of the Jonkershoek, a mountainous catchment in the Western Cape of South Africa. The sub-catchments differ in land cover, one is dominated by indigenous fynbos vegetation and the other by pine plantation. Stream water, higher elevation springs, and lower elevation groundwater samples were collected monthly from January 2018 to January 2019, and were analysed for stable isotopes, electrical conductivity (EC) and pH. The stream water isotopic values resembled those of groundwater during the dry and wet seasons. Results indicated a steady contribution of spring discharge to streams during the dry season, with rainfall contribution less evident. Wet season flows were attributed to interflow including perennial and ephemeral springs. Spatial variations in EC between the sub-catchments were indicative of a greater proportional input from subsurface water, more evaporation and/or more mineral dissolution in the pine-dominated sub-catchment. The spatiotemporal variability in EC was significantly larger than for the stable isotopes. These findings enabled conceptualization of streamflow generation processes that can support strategic water resource management practices in this region.

Robust ecological drought projections for drylands in the 21st century.

Dryland ecosystems may be especially vulnerable to expected 21st century increases in temperature and aridity because they are tightly controlled by moisture availability. However, climate impact assessments in drylands are difficult because ecological dynamics are dictated by drought conditions that are difficult to define and complex to estimate from climate conditions alone. In addition, precipitation projections vary substantially among climate models, enhancing variation in overall trajectories for aridity. Here, we constrain this uncertainty by utilizing an ecosystem water balance model to quantify drought conditions with recognized ecological importance, and by identifying changes in ecological drought conditions that are robust among climate models, defined here as when >90% of models agree in the direction of change. Despite limited evidence for robust changes in precipitation, changes in ecological drought are robust over large portions of drylands in the United States and Canada. Our results suggest strong regional differences in long-term drought trajectories, epitomized by chronic drought increases in southern areas, notably the Upper Gila Mountains and South-Central Semi-arid Prairies, and decreases in the north, particularly portions of the Temperate and West-Central Semi-arid Prairies. However, we also found that exposure to hot-dry stress is increasing faster than mean annual temperature over most of these drylands, and those increases are greatest in northern areas. Robust shifts in seasonal drought are most apparent during the cool season; when soil water availability is projected to increase in northern regions and decrease in southern regions. The implications of these robust drought trajectories for ecosystems will vary geographically, and these results provide useful insights about the impact of climate change on these dryland ecosystems. More broadly, this approach of identifying robust changes in ecological drought may be useful for other assessments of climate impacts in drylands and provide a more rigorous foundation for making long-term strategic resource management decisions.

State, corporate and traditional community relations and the politics of leverage in the Royal Bafokeng Nation

The strategic management of resources have recently garnered widespread analytic attention with the prevailing consensus being the “resource curse,” and its negative effect on social, economic and political development worldwide. The curse is significantly worse for traditional and indigenous communities where tribal land rests atop valuable subterranean resources without much leverage to negotiate for their use or ownership. Some of the poorest indigenous people live in the most resource-rich regions of the world, a condition that is true in both the developed and developing worlds alike. The Royal Bafokeng Nation of South Africa, however, provides a strong counterpoint. Deemed Africa's richest ethnic group, the nation was able to leverage its political clout to establish a community investment company which administers a lucrative financial portfolio that consists of assets in a diverse range of economic sectors all stemming from platinum resources on Bafokeng tribal land. The case of the Royal Bafokeng Nation provides a stark anomaly to the literature on indigenous access to subterranean resources and begs the question “how do communities navigate leverage with their respective state governments in order to benefit from their subterranean natural resources on their indigenous land?” To examine this question, this paper borrows insights from examples in former Anglophone colonies of settlement for structural context and argues that the Bafokeng's political culture evidenced by its political mobilization, inclinations to litigate and its shrewd politicking provided levers of success in negotiating for communal access to platinum resources.

Serious Gaming of Logistics Management in Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Access blocks throughout the entire healthcare system and overcrowding issues are pervasive in many emergency departments where the coordination and strategic management of resources could be supported by serious games and simulations approaches. However, existing studies have not addressed the reciprocal relation between patient inflow and working systems in serious games design in order to reflect the logistical features of an emergency department and to facilitate the players improve the work performance of the system. To address the issue, this paper presents a serious game based on a multi-method simulation approach of complex healthcare processes as well as the game mechanics selected to promote understanding the logistical features of an ED, which points to the next level of conducting simulations or gaming aimed for training decision making skills in operative environments. Results of the experiment confirmed that the serious game encouraged participants to proactively manage the human resources of the emergency department. Certain managerial recommendations can be made: a patient flow multiplier of 120% could lead to a significant erosion of the system’s defensive ability; however, proactive anticipation from management is the key for making an emergency organization more resilient.

Механізми сталого розвитку міжнародних альянсів авіаційних перевізників

The purpose of the publication is to deepen the theoretical and methodological provisions and develop scientific and practical recommendations for improving the organizational and economic mechanism of resource management of sustainable development of global alliances in the international cluster of passenger air transportation. Strategic bases of formation of the system approach to management of economic resources of participants of alliances are formulated. The list of principles for the implementation of a systematic approach to the management of economic resources of aviation enterprises (UERAP) includes integrity, structure, hierarchy, the relationship between the organizational system and the external environment, adaptability and flexibility, multifacetedness. Thus, integrity is understood as activity on increase of safety of flights (FS) on the basis of strategic management of economic resources of the enterprise which has general character, is shared by all useful within system of functioning by divisions of the enterprise. Multidimensionality reflects the complex structure of the system, which operates taking into account the peculiarities of the deployment of elemental, functional, organizational and dynamic aspects of activity. It is proposed to design systems for improving the efficiency of MERAE in the form of a set of organizational structures, specific forms and methods of management, which ensure an adequate level of FS by implementing measures for effective management of three types of resources (economic, financial and material). The thesis on the possibility of providing a flight safety management system (FSMS) by means of planning organizational measures to identify and eliminate the risks of incidents, cooperation on their prevention by all participants in the air transport system during flights, organizational support and investigation of non-standard events is substantiated. It is proposed to subordinate the FSMS to a clear sequence of organizational structures, responsibilities, guidelines, policies and procedures for managing certain elements of ERAE: personnel, technology, aircraft, information flows, motivation system, quality management. These elements are considered as part of the subsystems of a set of measures to improve the management of ERAE in order to ensure FS.

Instituciones en crisis y acción colectiva frente a las migraciones globales. El caso de la llegada de haitianos a Tijuana, B.C., 2016-2017

¿De qué manera las nuevas expresiones de la migración global generan formas de acción colectiva igualmente inusitadas? A mediados de 2016 empezaron a llegar a Tijuana, B.C. (México) cientos de personas de origen haitiano. Las particularidades de su estatus migratorio y el volumen de arribo colocaron a las instituciones civiles y gubernamentales en una crisis ante la inexistencia de políticas específicas para su atención. Partiendo de una discusión teórica-conceptual de acción colectiva y desde una perspectiva metodológica cualitativa, el objetivo del artículo es analizar las relaciones interinstitucionales y el manejo estratégico de recursos de las diversas formas de asociación que surgen en una coyuntura como esta. El estudio muestra cómo en un contexto de crisis institucional las expresiones emergentes de acción colectiva se construyen a partir de redes para responder a necesidades de corto y mediano plazo de la población afectada; así mismo, se aceleran los procesos de organización cívica fundamentados en la solidaridad y se promueve la participación ciudadana a partir de principios identitarios propios de lugares con una larga experiencia migratoria.

Conceptualizing Strategic Entrepreneurship and SMEs Performance Using the Resource-Based Theory:

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) contribute significantly to socio-economic development of any country. Despite the contribution, poor performance of SMEs has been reported due to various constraints. Strategic entrepreneurship has been identified as one of the approaches that can be used to promote SMEs performance. We aimed at developing a conceptual model that describes the influence of strategic entrepreneurship on SMEs performance under the mediation of competitive advantage. Guided by the Resource-Based Theory, the synergy of the Resource-Based View and the Knowledge Based View, we adopted learning orientation, strategic resources management and entrepreneurial orientation as components of strategic entrepreneurship. Through integrative literature review approach, we developed the conceptual model, which depicts the direct and indirect influence of strategic entrepreneurship components on SMEs performance. Furthermore, the model depicts the mediating effect of competitive advantage on the relationships between strategic entrepreneurship components and SMEs performance. We have contributed to the existing literature through introduction of strategic resources management as a component of strategic entrepreneurship, introduction of direct and indirect influences of strategic entrepreneurship components on SMEs performance and introduction of competitive advantage as a mediating variable between strategic entrepreneurship and SMEs performance. We have recommended for the testing of the proposed model in future studies across different industries to obtain empirical evidence. This wouldresult to further theoretical and practical contributions to the existing knowledge.

Spatiotemporal Data Analysis and Forecasting Model for Forestland Rehabilitation

Purpose – Deforestation is one of the Global Forests issues that concern the United Nations (UN) for several decades and it thus leads to a vision of increasing the forestland area by 2030 that is the same size as South Africa. With this concern, spatiotemporal data analysis had been an effective way to visualize and represent the area that have been damaged and affected with the integration of the use of Geographical Information System. The National Greening Program (NGP) of the Philippines is in charge of the rehabilitation of unproductive, denuded and degraded forestlands in every province. Method – Using the spatiotemporal data in the form of shapefiles, predictors that could contribute on how the forestland may be rehabilitated were analysed and foreseen. Also, with the analysis stage of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with Back Propagation, a forecasting model was identified. Result – It has been determined that with the combination of ANN and Spatiotemporal visualization, possible additional increase in the size of the rehabilitated forestland and its representation can be done efficiently. Conclusion – Thus, the finding may be used as a helpful way for the NGP for forestland rehabilitation and reforestation strategic planning and resource management. Practical Implications – A dynamic and interactive web application may be implemented to monitor implementation of the program. Furthermore, public awareness may be initiated about the importance of forestland.

Strategic entrepreneurship, competitive advantage, and SMEs\u2019 performance in the welding industry in Tanzania

This study aimed at obtaining empirical evidence regarding the influence of strategic entrepreneurship on SMEs’ performance under the mediation of competitive advantage in the welding industry in Tanzania. Guided by the resource-based theory, this study adopted learning orientation, strategic resource management, and entrepreneurial orientation as strategic entrepreneurship components. Survey method with cross-sectional design was used to collect data from 300 owners-managers of welding industry SMEs located in Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, and Mbeya urban centers. Structural equation modelling technique was used to develop measurement and structural models. Findings suggest that learning orientation influences entrepreneurial orientation which influences strategic resource management to create competitive advantage that promotes SMEs’ performance. Findings of this study imply that the resource-based theory holds a better chance to describe the influence of strategic entrepreneurship components on SMEs’ performance under the mediation of competitive advantage than the individual resource-based view and knowledge-based view. It has been empirically demonstrated that knowledge is a unique resource that enables the acquisition of other resources and strategies. SMEs are urged to embrace learning orientation to create competitive advantage that leads to superior performance. The study has empirically verified that learning orientation, strategic resource management, and entrepreneurial orientation constructs adopted from entrepreneurship and strategic management literature are components of strategic entrepreneurship. Inclusion of strategic entrepreneurship components, competitive advantage, and SMEs’ performance with their composite measures in a single model distinguishes this study from past studies.

Experience of use of erp-systems in the life cycle of manufacturing of machine-building production

At the present stage of innovative development of machine building in Ukraine, the aviation and rocket and space industries are the driving forces that determine the country's competitiveness and directions in the development of science.Despite the progressiveness of the aforementioned industries, their development is nowhere near as dynamic as it is in the face of a lack of financial and human resources. In this regard, the problem of organizing the process of managing resource-intensive production of high-tech products is becoming especially relevant.A number of papers are devoted to strategic resource management. Their detailed analysis showed that this problem is not solved sufficiently and does not reveal approaches to solving the problem of optimizing the resource creation of high-tech products at different stages of its life cycle, taking into account industry features and modern analytical tools, including using the WEB environment. This justifies the need to improve existing and develop new appropriate methodological tools aimed at improving resource efficiency.One of the most effective and less costly approaches to addressing this issue is the use of specialized enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

A multifaceted framework for adoption of cloud computing in Malaysian SMEs

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to develop a model to understand the relationships among technology, organizational and environmental (TOE) contexts, intention to adopt cloud computing (IACC) and actual usage of cloud computing (AUCC) in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia as a developing country. More specifically, this paper seeks to explore the mediation effect of IACC on the relationship between TOE context and AUCC.Design/methodology/approachA positivist research approach was selected for this study. Drawing largely upon the TOE framework, this study uses survey data from 209 Malaysian SMEs. Structural equation modelling (SEM) based on partial least squares (PLS) was used to assess the structural relations of the research model.FindingsThe results of the structural model show that data security, technology readiness, top management support, competitive pressure and innovativeness are the most significant factors in predicting the adoption of cloud computing in Malaysian SMEs. Further, the results indicate that intention to adopt cloud computing can play a mediating role between TOE factors and the actual usage of cloud computing.Research limitations/implicationsThe focus upon Malaysian SMEs may diminish the generalizability of the findings. This study provides profound insight into the management and foundation of cloud computing, different types of cloud services and deployment models that could facilitate the management of enterprise strategic resources and contribute to the performance improvement. This study also provides another important implication for practitioners regarding the absolute necessity of value drivers’ identification within enterprise and understand the causal relationships, which are vital in driving those values.Practical implicationsThis study provides several practical guidance for practitioners in deploying cloud services which are most suitable option for their specific technology requirement in their enterprise to enjoy the full benefits of their intangible assets. Another significant implication of this study lies in the fact that it may require a different emphasis on nature and adoption design when there is a higher level of stress on technology-related and cloud computing resources.Originality/valueThis study contributes to the extant literature by developing an integrative model to identify how a wide set of contextual factors can determine the intention to adopt cloud computing and, in turn, influence the actual usage of cloud computing in SMEs in Malaysia as a developing country.

SYSTEM DYNAMICS MODELING FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT RESEARCH: CRITICAL REVIEW AND FUTURE TRENDS

As a result of growing complexities in the construction industry, system dynamics modeling (SDM) has been increasingly used in construction management (CM) research to explore complicated causal relationships at the various levels of construction and management processes. Given the rapid growth of SDM applications over the past two decades, a systematic review is needed to ascertain the state of the art and further trends in the area. This paper provides the results of a systematic analysis of 103 papers from 41 selected peer-reviewed journals from 1997 to 2016. The contributions of the papers are first analyzed, structured and formulated in terms of the year of publication, software involved, the combined use with other methods, and research design. With the assistance of the a keyword co-occurrence network analysis, eight research topics involving different internal and external complexities are identified, including: (1) sustainability, (2) project planning and control, (3) performance and effectiveness, (4) strategic management, (5) site and resource management, (6) risk analysis and management, (7) knowledge management, and (8) organization and stakeholder management. The analysis results reveal the pivotal role of SDM in streamlining different complicated casual relationships at the activity, project, and industry levels across the eight topics and its significant potential in uncovering the impact of complicated contextual conditions on project planning and control, effectiveness and performance, strategic management, and sustainability at the project and industry levels. Lastly, trends and recommendations for SDM applications are provided for future CM research. This paper provides a state of the art of SDM in CM applications and insights into opportunities and useful references for the future.

Determinants and outcomes of IT governance in manufacturing SMEs: A strategic IT management perspective

The need to strategically manage IT resources such that they enhance the business value of firms makes IT governance (ITG), in conjunction with IT alignment, an ongoing issue for IS researchers and practitioners. In addressing this issue, the present study aims to validate a research model that relates, within a strategic IT management framework, the firm's ITG and IT alignment capabilities to its IT performance. To do so, a survey of 223 manufacturing SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) was realized. Results confirm the hypothesized relationships between the firm's environmental uncertainty, strategic IT orientation, ITG and IT alignment capabilities. They constitute a solid validation of the impact of the strategic management of IT resources and governance of IT on IT performance in the specific context of manufacturing SMEs.

Remote sensing of forest die-off in the Anthropocene: From plant ecophysiology to canopy structure

Human activities have fundamentally changed Earth's climate and land surface in the latter half of the 20th century, leading to the proposal of a new geologic epoch known as the Anthropocene. One major ecological perturbation underway over the past several decades of the Anthropocene is extensive tree and shrub mortality, or forest die-off, triggered by elevated temperatures and prolonged drought, and/or insect and pathogen outbreaks. This increasingly common disturbance has affected forests and woodlands on all vegetated continents and may alter terrestrial carbon fluxes in the biosphere. Remote sensing has enabled mapping of the extent and ecological patterns of tree loss and damage, assessing potential carbon emissions and monitoring ecosystem trajectories after tree mortality. In this review article, we cover drought-induced changes in plant physiology, chemistry, and structure that occur as an individual tree progresses from healthy to stressed to standing dead or coarse woody debris, and corresponding responses in remotely sensed data that provide the opportunity and potential for observation and analysis at large spatial scales and early detection. The linkages between changes associated with tree mortality and remote sensing show exceptional promise for strategic and adaptive natural resource management as climate models project warmer and drier climates in the coming decades.

Developing and Validating a Scale to Assess Strategic Entrepreneurship Among Women: A Case of Jammu and Kashmir in India

The combination of entrepreneurship and strategic management, called strategic entrepreneurship, is still in its infancy, as Hitt et al. proposed it in the year 2001. Since then researchers have continuously pushed their limits to explore it on different fronts and domains. But, so far, a mutual consent on what actually constitutes it has not been achieved. In developing nations like India, this concept presents huge opportunities for researchers to explore it on different dimensions and domains. Specifically talking about the state of Jammu and Kashmir ( J & K) where entrepreneurship was once considered to be a male-dominated field, this concept presents huge opportunities for researchers to fill in the gap. The aim of the present study is to develop and validate a scale which can be used to assess strategic entrepreneurship among women entrepreneurs of the state of J & K in India. The major takeaway of this study is that innovativeness, entrepreneurial culture, entrepreneurial leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, strategic management of resources and networking significantly load on strategic entrepreneurship. The study proposes a significantly positive relationship between the various dimensions which means a positive variation in one dimension leads to a positive variation in another as well and vice versa. The study provides a scale which can be used for test–retest analysis for future studies on strategic entrepreneurship in the state. This study is of great help to the researchers who want to explore strategic perspective of entrepreneurship among women entrepreneurs.

The impact of strategic human resource management on organizational resilience: an empirical study on hospitals

The aim of this study was to explore the impact of strategic human resource management practices (strategic value of human resource practices, human resource analytics and high-performance work practices) on organizational resilience (cognitive, behavioral and contextual dimensions) in private hospitals. The required data for the purpose of this study were collected by a questionnaire developed on the basis of related works. The questionnaire was developed based on exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. It consisted of 30 items divided into two domains, the first one to measure strategic resource management practices (15 items), and the second one to measure organizational resilience (15 items). The study population was consisted of employees working at private hospitals. The questionnaires were distributed to a random sample of 500 administrative staff working in private hospitals. A total of 449 valid responses were retrieved with a response rate of 89.9%, which is high percent because the researcher visited the hospitals and distributed the questionnaires personally. Using IBM SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 22, the results confirmed that strategic human resource management practices have a positive impact on organizational resilience. In terms of the separate effects of strategic HRM practices, the results showed that strategic value of human resource practices was the most influential variable on organizational resilience, followed by human resource analytics, then high performance work practices The study concluded that the hospital’s ability to be resilient requires an advance planning when formulating the human resources strategy that is supposed to be integrated into the hospital’s strategy.

The process capability model for governance of the Election Organizer Ethics Court system

The capability level assesment for governance of the Election Organizer Ethics Court Information System [SIPEPP] is necessary to ensure strategic planning allignment, value delivery, risk management, resources management and performance measurement. SIPEPP implementation has special problems in optimizing human resources and weak supervision management, so it is important to asess capability levels to provide solutions to these problems. The purpose of this paper is to assess the current and expected capability level conditions, gap analysis and recommendations for SIPEPP good governance. This research method uses the Process Assessment Model (PAM) from Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT 5) which consists of stages of initiation, planning the assessment, briefing, data collection, data validation, process attribute level, and result and recommendation. The results of this study indicate the level of optimization of resources and performance monitoring processes are level 2 (Managed Process) which means that the process has been recorded, measured and in accordance with the objectives. The process of managing human resources, assets and operations are at level 1 (Performed Process), meaning that both processes have been applied to SIPEPP governance. Recommendations related human resources are the selection of appropriate human resources by involving management, while related assets require a priority list of implementation systems, and related supervision requires detailed monitoring schedules. This study result can be taken into consideration for improving good governance of SIPEPP implementation.

Business in Technological, Marketing and Social Perspectives: A Progress in Strategic and Human Resource Management

Progress in globalization has made many nations to see China as a fast-growing country in terms of technology, infrastructure, manufacturing and production of goods and services. In spite of these developments, there is still a room of research for resolving the uneven distribution of income which has caused political and socio-economic problems in the country. The purpose of this paper is to determine the role of Human Resources Management and Talent Management in bringing improvement in enterprise capabilities to stand in the market. The method adopted in this paper is the systemic literature reviewer focused on the qualitative analysis of studies focused on strategic and human resource management. This research review finds that these human-related managements are crucial requirement to build company capabilities. However, as the the company keeps growing, performance and development of employee need to keep up to cover up the global market. Giving some guidance, training, and practice may be one of the proper investments in developing the capabilities. Customer loyalty is an influential factor in the performance of the company.
