Purpose: This study aims to address inefficiencies in service delivery processes within PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel, particularly concerning manual operations and administrative document management. By utilizing the TOGAF ADM (The Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method) methodology, the research seeks to develop a strategic plan for information systems that enhances service efficiency and streamlines operations.
  
 Methods: The research employs the TOGAF ADM methodology to guide the strategic planning process for information systems improvement. Four key aspects are considered: vision architecture, business architecture, information system architecture, and technology architecture. Through a systematic approach, the study identifies areas for improvement and proposes strategic initiatives to optimize the utilization of information systems and technology.
  
 Results and Discussion: Analysis of the current operational processes within PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel reveals inefficiencies in manual operations and document management, leading to delays and increased resource consumption. The application of TOGAF ADM methodology facilitates the development of strategic plans across various architectural domains. The proposed initiatives include enhancements in vision architecture, business processes, information system integration, and technological infrastructure to optimize information system utilization and improve service delivery efficiency.
  
 Implications of the Research: The findings have significant implications for PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel, providing actionable insights for enhancing service efficiency and operational effectiveness through strategic information systems planning. The implementation of the information system requires strategic planning in an organization so that the benefits of implementing an information system can be felt more optimally, this will be applied to high school schools in Jakarta. The problems faced by schools are quite diverse, starting with the management of school data to performance evaluations and the need for an integrated system for each division to support the organization's business processes. Strategic planning is made with targeted targets such as alignment of information systems in academic & non-academic processes and school data management, improving performance in infrastructure management, and increasing competitiveness by creating a website-based system for school promotion. Goals can be achieved by aligning the information system strategy with the organization's business strategy. To determine the information system strategy, the organization's current business strategy is needed. This information system strategic planning research was conducted using the Ward Peppard method. This method helps to be able to understand the organization more deeply before strategic planning is made. It includes SWOT analysis, Value Chain, PEST, Critical Success Factor, and Mcfarlan's Strategic Grid analysis in the form of strategy recommendations from the results of internal and external environmental analysis of school information systems, and application portfolios will be mapped to be applied to school organizations to achieve expected business goals

For government agency that want to improve public services based on information and communication technology and the need for strategic planning of information technology and information systems as a strategic direction and framework for information system use to support government agency tasks towards effective and efficient public services and inter-government services (Government to Government,Government to Business,Government to Citizen,Government to Employee) to the maximum extent possible in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of the government agency. An agency needs to identify business needs and evaluate the IT/IS resources it has so that they can be utilized and developed by stakeholders involved in it.At this time,an agency is not enough to have just a business strategy to face competition.The existing business strategy is incorporated into the business plan and must be accompanied by an IT/IS strategy for optimal use of IT/IS. If in a government institution, the context of the business strategy will become an activity strategy and the context of the business plan will become an activity plan because a government institution is not a company that operates in the business field.The business process in the perspective of information systems is an activity or activity carried out by an agency to provide benefits (value added) for the performance of the agency. Perencanaan Strategis Teknologi Informasi Terhadap Perusahaan Menggunakan Pendekatan Ward and Peppard

Strategic planning in information technology is a planning activity carried out by utilizing technology optimally to support the company's business objectives. This strategic planning must consider the continuous development of information technology to maintain the competitive advantage of a company. The research objective is to analyze the company's internal and external conditions to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to CV. Medica Trisari which is useful for making strategic planning for information systems. The data collection method used in the research to be carried out uses the Observation, Interview, and Literature Study methods. Then use the SWOT Analysis method which can analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that exist within the Company using the Ward and Peppard approach to ensure IS/IT strategic planning. From the results of the SWOT analysis, several strategic plans were obtained for CV Medica Trisari in developing IS/IT management so that it is able to compete with other competitors. Thus, it can be concluded that the CV. Medica Trisari Company strategy shows a good graph and has a quadrant 1 value. By using McFarlan Strategic Grid analysis, IS/IT output is produced which is expected to be a solution to business process problems and improve the quality of company management.

Optimizing University Plans through Information System Strategic Planning

This study is motivated by the policy of a university related to Information System (IS) or Information Technology (IT) which was prepared without careful planning so that the information system that had been built did not fully support the university’s plan according to the university strategic plan. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to be able to implement an information system that is optimal and in line with the university strategic policies, so strategic planning of IS is needed. This is done so that the investment spent on IS development is accordance with the needs and can provide measurable benefits in accordance with the goals and objectives of the university. This study uses PEST, SWOT, Value Chain, and Critical Success Factor analysis. Then determine the IS/IT strategic plan and it is expected to produce outputs in the form of IS/IT strategic planning proposals at Campus X. Therefore, based on the results of the McFarlan Strategic Grid mapping which states that of the 6 existing IS applications, none of the applications are in the Strategic quadrant and the High Potential quadrant. The result of the IS/IT strategic planning shows that there are 12 new IS applications, the development of new network infrastructure as well as the addition of new human resources.

Penggunaan TOGAF ADM Untuk Mengidentifikasi Ketidaksesuaian Pada Aplikasi Pencari Kerja

  The identification of non-conformities aims to create harmony between business and information technology for current and future organizational needs. The successful implementation of identification is inseparable from an organization planning and designing the enterprise architecture. Planning and designing this requires a complete and easy-to-use methodology. In this research, a case study was carried out for information system strategic planning by applying the TOGAF ADM method with the help of the value chain model and other modeling tools in job seeker applications. The stages of the TOGAF ADM methodology are translated into enterprise architecture modeling, namely vision architecture, business architecture, information system architecture and technology architecture. The results of modeling with the TOGAF ADM methodology provide a basis for overcoming problems and are an effort to optimize a data input design and add validation to the input design which can help reduce the risk of unwanted data such as duplicate data, inappropriate data and so on.

Analisis Perencanaan Strategis Sistem Informasi dengan Metodologi Tozer pada Sabisu Interior

Sabisu Interior is an interior design service company located in Ngawi Regency. The operational management of ordering Sabisu Interior services has not yet used an information system. Problems arise because of the increasing number of customers and demand for the number of orders. Order, production and financial data management is still carried out by recording it in Microsoft Office applications. his raises the problem of discrepancies between order data, production data and financial data. In this research, a strategic planning of information systems and information technology will be carried out using the Tozer method. Several analysis tools are used such as Value Chain, PEST, CSF and Mc. Farlan Strategic Grid to provide an overview of IS/IT implementation. The research objective is to produce a portfolio of IS/IT strategic planning models that support Sabisu Interior's business strategy and vision and mission. The formulation of IS/IT strategic planning using the tozer method in this study produced an IS/IT strategic planning portfolio document. The results of this research in the form of a portfolio document contain 9 proposals for implementing IS/IT which will be used as recommendations for Sabisu Interior to make decisions regarding the development of IS/IT for the company in the future.

Analysis of information systems strategic planning using ward and peppard framework case e-commerce company

<span>The e-commerce industry which is developing significantly is always required to be able to adapt well to technological developments where information systems/information technologies (IS/IT) strategic planning must be further developed to support the company's business processes. In this research, the authors focus on analyzing how the information systems strategic planning is currently underway at an e-commerce company. The author uses the ward and peppard framework to analyze the business environment and IS/IT environment internally and externally. Many methods have been developed within the framework such as strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis which focus on exposure the company's internal and external conditions, McFarlan strategic grid focus on assessing the overall contribution of IS/IT, and its impact on business success, from both a strategic, and operational perspective, value chain focus on optimizing technology, and business applications, political, economic, social, and technological (PEST) analysis focus on considerations of legal, political, economic, social, and technological developments, critical success factor (CSF) analysis focus on product quality priorities, customer service, product prices, company resources, and technology used. The results of the analysis of these methods are the results of this study, namely the results of portfolio application recommendations for the next four years which can be used as a reference for companies to develop their business strategic planning systems.</span>

Failure to plan the utilization of Information Systems and Information Technology results in organizations/institutions facing a relatively high increase in financial expenses. Advances in information technology make Information Systems and Information Technology have an important role for the running of an organization today. Information system strategic planning is needed that is aligned with organizational goals that are in accordance with organizational needs and can provide benefits. Strategic planning must be in accordance with the needs of activities and organizational goals. This research was conducted using the Cobit 5 Framework with the Ward and Peppard method by applying several stages of analysis. It is known that the priority of the BSC Cobit 5 Dimension sequentially is financial, learning and growth, internal and costumer. While TI's goal of the cobit 5 process, number 7 gets the first priority where the processes that are the first order are EDM04, APO01 and APO07 and so on.

Strategic Information System and Contingency Planning is Necessary for The Rapid Growth of Any Organization

Strategic information system planning (SISP) has been identified as a critical management issue. It is considered by many as the best mechanism for assuring that IT activities are congruent with those of the rest of the organization and its evolving needs. Our research investigated the success of SISP as a function of its key success factors (KSFs) in different contexts and SISP approaches, in a framework that integrated all of the SISP components and provided a new perspective on how the constructs are instrumental to produce SISP success. Based on responses from 172 American CIOs, our study’s findings empirically supported our research model: the combination of SISP context and approach was found to have a moderating influence on the basic relationship between SISP KSFs and its success, the best predictor for the long-term success of the SISP process was apparently based on the three-way interactions between SISP’s KSFs, its approach and its context. In addition, specific combinations of SISP approach and SISP context were found to decrease or increase the size of the ‘‘planning paradox’’ (the inconsistency in the behavior of the ‘‘basic relationship’’ between the three).

The Impact of Business IT Strategic Alignment on Corporate Performance

Information technology's role is vital for a company's progress in its business management. Companies must implement differentiation and cost-reduction strategies to gain a competitive advantage in intense competition, especially among electrical appliance distributors. The implementation of cost reduction cuts business processes by streamlining IT/IS. However, business processes still have not implemented information systems, such as stock data collection, transaction problem reporting, and much more. Therefore, companies need to move dynamically with the flow of technological changes by planning the right technology strategy. Based on the problems that arise, this research is only limited to strategic planning of information systems and application portfolios using the Ward and Peppard approach because it focuses on mapping the company's internal-external factors regarding business and technology. This research hypothesizes that the determination of the strategy can be successful in realizing the application's application within five years in an electrical appliance distributor company. The research stage begins with collecting data from the literature, interviews, and direct observation. Next, analyze the internal and external environment using the help of the Ward and Peppard method. The environmental analysis results become the basis for mapping the Critical Success Factors (CSF) that need to be evaluated using the IT Balanced Scorecard. The results of this research are in the form of a proposed strategy for business, management, and information technology systems in the form of an application portfolio. The direction of application implementation is through product roadmap and master plan planning. This study aims to build the right business strategy and technology to help companies realize application implementation in the short and long term.

STRATEGIC PLANNING OF HOSPITALITY INFORMATION SYSTEMS USING THE WARD AND PEPPARD APPROACH CASE STUDY AT BULEUD VILLA, GARUT DISTRICT

Hospitality is one area that has the potential to implement information systems because hospitality is a business that prioritizes satisfaction, in this case, namely service. A good business strategy is needed to support the business. Talking about business strategy will not be separated from the so-called strategy of information systems and information technology. Therefore, a mature information system strategic planning can be used as a reference to gain a competitive advantage for Villa Buleud Garut. The purpose of this study is to analyze environmental factors to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that are owned and to identify the critical success factors so that a proposed information system strategy plan can be developed in the form of an application development portfolio at the future Villa Buleud. In this study the authors made direct observations at Villa Buleud, conducted interviews, and gave questionnaires to related parties and read literature. In compiling the framework in this study the authors used the Ward and Peppard approach. Which of these approaches is to carry out an analysis of the Internal Business Environment, External Business Environment, Internal IS/IT Environment, and External IS/IT Environment using several analytical methods, namely Value Chain analysis, PEST Analysis, Five Force Porter, McFarlan Strategic Grid, SWOT Analysis, Critical Success Factor, and Balanced Scorecard. The final result of this research is the proposed formulation of the future IS/IT strategy for Villa Buleud Garut which includes changes to the vision and mission of Villa Buleud, changes to organizational structure, information system application requirements, network architecture, future business processes, and future Villa Buleud application portfolio. Abstract
 Currently, the business activities of an organization are inseparable from the role of Information Systems (IS) and Information Technology (IT). Information Systems are a reliable tool to win competition in the industry, assist organizations in realizing efficient back office processes, improve service quality to consumers, help make decisions, plan ahead, expand markets, and market products.. In operational activities So far, the information system used at  PT Trijaya Teknika Mandiri only uses administrative support applications, namely Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Autocad 2004, Photoshop CS where the use of these applications does not make a competitive strategic contribution to the company. In this study, John Ward's PSSI (Information System Strategic Design) concept became the basis for developing the IS/IT strategic planning formulation used in  PT Trijaya Teknika Mandiri. IS/IT strategic planning is used to coordinate the needs of business strategy and IS/IT to obtain value from the organization in terms of competitive advantage. The process of identifying information needed for strategic planning of an information system begins with the organizational environment which includes the vision, mission and goals of the organization , identify the internal and external environment of the organization , as well as internal and external. ANALISIS PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS SISTEM INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI PADA SD NEGERI REUDEUP

Abstract: Analysis of Information and Communication System Strategic Planning at SD Negeri Reudeup. SDN Reudeup is one of the state formal education institutions in Meureubo District, West Aceh Regency. In managing school operations, SDN Reudeup has implemented an information system. However, the information system used has not had a significant influence on the achievement of optimal competitive competition. This is because the application of information systems has not been used as a strategic tool but only supports the process of processing school administrative data. For this reason, SDN Reudeup requires a strategic planning of information systems in order to compete competitively with other schools. The framework used in this research is the Ward & Peppard framework. The Ward & Peppard framework begins with an understanding of the current situation, namely the internal and external environment, both in the business environment and in the IS/IT environment. The data analysis methods used are Value Chain analysis, SWOT analysis, PEST analysis and McFarland Strategic Grid. The process of collecting data was carried out by interview techniques, namely by conducting personal interviews (personal interviews), observations with a structured observation approach and documentation studies. The purpose of this research is to make strategic planning of information systems at SDN Reudeup to increase competitive advantage in schools.

The application of enterprise architecture aims to create alignment between business and information technology for the current and future needs of organizations. The success of implementing enterprise architecture cannot be separated from how an organization plans and designs the enterprise architecture. Planning and designing enterprise architecture requires a complete and easy-to-use methodology. In this study, a case study was conducted for strategic planning of information systems by applying the TOGAF ADM method with the help of the value chain model and other modeling tools at the Plantation and Livestock Service Office of Muaro Jambi Regency. The stages of the TOGAF ADM methodology are translated into enterprise architecture modeling, namely vision architecture, business architecture, information systems architecture and technology architecture. The results of the enterprise architecture modeling with the TOGAF ADM methodology provide a basis for overcoming the problem of lack of data integration and lack of information system support for business functions.
  

The Effect of Strategic Information Systems Planning Process on Strategic Alignment: The Moderator Role of Environmental Hostility

The strategic information systems planningprocess (SISP) has become increasingly important for public organizations to achieve strategic alignment, SISP is overwhelmedwith problems that hinder organizations from reaping its benefits of it. Environmental hostility is the most prominent. Therefore, this research investigates the influence of environmental hostilityas a moderator variable in the relationship between the strategic information systems planning process (assessed SISP in terms of strategic awareness, situation analysis, strategy conception, strategy formulation, and strategy implementation planning phases) and strategic alignment in public originations in Thi-Qar province. The survey questionnaire was designed based on a comprehensive literature review. A panel of both academic scholars was used to review the questionnaire items. Based on responses from 61 public organizations, our empirical investigation provided the following results, eight out of ten hypotheses tested were supported. To analyze the data, partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used. The findings of the research demonstrate that strategic awareness, situation analysis, and strategy conception strongly effects strategic alignment, and environmental hostility as a moderator variable influences the relationship between these processes and strategic alignment. The implications and recommendationsof this study are also discussed.

Abstract: Strategic Planning of Teacher Management Information System at Sd Negeri Kuala Bubon. The success of schools in the application of IS/IT in an organization or institution depends on the provision of data or information in accordance with the needs of the organization/institution. If it is not managed with careful planning, it is impossible to realize excellent service, so it is necessary to do strategic planning of information systems to support the process of organizational existence so that organizational goals can be achieved. This plan will refer to the Ward and Peppard framework, namely analyzing internal and external businesses, and analyzing IS/IT portfolios. For business analysis use Value Chain and PEST, while for portfolio analysis uses Mc Farlan's portfolio. The results of the analysis are in the form of business processes, data and information needs, and IS/IT portfolios for the current and future management of teachers at SDN Kuala Bubon.
