Anaysis of Arabic Textbooks in Character Education Curriculum Framework K13

Background: Textbooks are books that contain knowledge that is the result of an analysis of the curriculum in written form to achieve the desired learning objectives. However, in several textbooks, problems were found that the contents of the books were not following the curriculum content standards and textbook standards. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the contents of Arabic textbooks. Purpose: This research is to analyze the Arabic language textbooks of Madrasah Aliyah based on the K13 character education framework. Method: The method used in this study is a literature study. As for data analysis, the authors used content analysis techniques based on the realm of spiritual attitudes, the realm of social attitudes, the realm of knowledge, and the realm of skills as stated in the 2013 curriculum. Results and Discussion: The results of the analysis of the qira'ah material Chapter II Arabic language textbooks for class XI Madrasah Aliyah in odd semesters show that in the material entitled al hayah as shihiyyah there is knowledge value in the form of scientific integration. Skill value, students have skills in combining knowledge between health sciences and Islamic religious knowledge. The value of a spiritual attitude, namely being good at being grateful, and a social attitude, namely by maintaining, setting an example, and inviting others to always apply a healthy lifestyle in life. Conclusions and Implications: Arabic textbook by H.D. Hidayat class XI is following the Core Competencies and Basic Competencies formulated in the 2013 General Curriculum. The implications of the results of this analysis are in the form of interpretations that can be used as additional explanations in learning Arabic.

Municipal Wastewater Quality Control: Heavy Metal Comparative Analysis—Case Study

Abstract A comparative analysis was conducted on raw and treated wastewater and the concentrations of heavy metals in sewage sludge from a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The research aimed to demonstrate improved efficiency in reducing heavy metal levels as a part of municipal and industrial waste management, with a specific emphasis on minimising the overall environmental impact. In this study, we presented the results of a repeated measures analysis of variance and assessed compliance with heavy metal content standards in sewage sludge from municipal treatment using a one-sample t-test against a reference norm. The analysis included measurements conducted between 2004 and 2015. We conducted an analysis of heavy metals, including zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu), chromium (Cr), and nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn) and mercury (Hg). High Zn concentration that we observed in pre-treatment wastewater raised important questions. Leakages in sewage networks can result in contaminants infiltrating the wastewater, thereby increasing pollutant concentrations. Elevated concentrations can stem from industrial activities, where Zn and pollutants are discharged into wastewater as byproducts of industrial operations. The study illustrated the attainment of the highest sanitary standards, ensuring that treatment processes effectively eliminate harmful toxic substances, ultimately guaranteeing that the final product is safe for further reclamation processes.

How Productive is the Productive Struggle? Lessons Learned from a Scoping Review

Since its first notable appearance in the Second Handbook of Research on Mathematics Teaching and Learning, the phrase productive struggle has garnered support from a few, yet very influential, educational researchers. However, since the phrase was popularized by Hiroko Warshauer in 2011, examinations of the productive struggle have grown substantially within mathematics education. In this article, we present a systematic review of the literature on the productive struggle to quantify the breadth and depth of existing work in the area. Our analysis indicates that many studies: (1) provide a direct implementation of the productive struggle; (2) primarily involve teachers and not students; (3) present primarily qualitative or non-empirical research approaches; and (4) specify the NCTM content area focus less often across studies. Thus, we conclude that there are opportunities for rigorous research designs reporting on observable trends in the implementation of the productive struggle, explicitly targeting underexamined NCTM content and process standards, and focusing on how the productive struggle can support equity in mathematics. We believe that these opportunities should be investigated to provide a broader evidence base for developing meaningful experiences in mathematics for school-aged children that capitalize on the interconnectedness of attribution, meta-cognition, and controlled frustration in mathematics learning.

PARADIGMA BARU KEBIJAKAN STANDAR NASIONAL PENDIDIKAN SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN INDONESIA

The government has issued and evaluated various policies to improve the quality of Indonesian Education. This study aims to analyze various policies and new paradigms of policies related to National Education Standards. The method used in this research is a literature study. The results of the study show that there is a paradigm shift related to policies regarding National Education Standards from those oriented to content standards, then shifted to graduate Competency Standards as an effort to improve the quality of Indonesian education.

Discriminant Analysis for Determination of Early Childhood Education Accreditation In Southeast Sulawesi Province

Discriminant Analysis is a statistical analysis that can classify cases on independent variables into groups or categories of dependent variables. The main objective of this research is classify eight indicators of the National education standards (SNP) early childhood and classify the accreditation value of early childhood (PAUD) in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The method used in this study used discriminant analysis. Accreditation value factors used in this study include Standards for Child Development Achievement Levels (X1), Content Standards (X2), Process Standards (X3), Standards for Educators and Education Personnel (X4), Facilities and Infrastructure Standards (X5), Management Standards (X6), Financing Standards (X7) and Education Assessment Standards (X8). Based on the results of data analysis, 8 SNP Indicators qualify as a form of discriminant equation model and accreditation value obtained based on the calculations of the National accreditation organization (BAN) PAUD and Non Fromal Education (PNF) Southeast Sulawesi are classified as follows: there are divided into 3 classifications, namely Accreditation C is 91.7%, Accreditation B is 85.1%, and for Accreditation A is 100%. So, the accuracy of the classification is 87.5%.

Impact of Pretreatment and Drying Factors on Chemical and Biochemical Attributes of Moroccan Thompson Seedless Grapes.

Drying is a common technique in the agrifood industry, but insufficient control in the drying process can result in changes to the fruit's appearance due to physiological damage during processing. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of pretreatment and drying process parameters on Moroccan raisins' quality and safety. The experimental levels of pretreatment factors (blanching, browning agents) and drying temperature were defined at the beginning. Subsequently, a 24-factorial design was employed to provide a simple and reliable model capable of relating directly the response factor (drying time, color intensity change (E∗), chromaticity (C∗), and browning rate) to the variables (NaOH concentration, antibrowning agent concentration, temperature, and relative humidity). All four parameters had a statistically considerable effect on studied responses. Blanching for 5 minutes at 1% of NaOH solution, using an appropriate concentration of antibrowning agent (5% Na2S2O5), and drying at 70°C with 30% of relative moisture can lead to better preservation of grapes' appearance and quality (chromaticity (C∗) and color change (E∗)). Also, in these conditions, a lower browning rate (14.48%), a lower 5-hydroxymethylfurfural content (12.40 mg/100 g DW), and a higher level of polyphenols (135.79 ± 13.17 mg GAE/100 g DW) and flavonoid content (57.81 ± 3.08 mg Qeq/100 g DW) have been recorded while meeting international standards for SO2 content and microbial quality.

Models of Instruction for Multilingual Learners: Facets of the ESOL Co-Teacher Role

With nearly five million multilingual learners in U.S. schools, research is warranted for effective instruction that permits equal access to content standards through language diversification. Multilingual learners (MLs), students learning English who benefit from linguistic support to attain academic achievement, are served through models in U.S. schools that vary according to student needs and staffing capability, with English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) as the dominantly implemented format. ESOL is a federally and locally funded program that provides structured academic and linguistic support and accountability for MLs across all grade levels. The purpose of this literature review is to compare the utility and effectiveness of the four program models approved by the U.S. Department of Education to effectively teach content and language to MLs in public schools: (a) structured English immersion, (b) bilingual education, (c) dual language or two-way immersion programs, and (d) English for Speakers of Other Languages (U.S. Department of Education & U.S. Department of Justice, 2015). Furthermore, this article is intended to examine the overarching model of ESOL—the most employed model in the U.S.—and the prominent delivery format of co-teaching. Each of the models mentioned above is discussed in this paper, followed by a delineation of state and federally-approved formats of ESOL: pull-out, push-in, resource labs, sheltered classes, innovative delivery models, and co-teaching. This article concludes with an examination of co-teaching, a subset of ESOL in which a general education educator and an ESOL teacher co-plan, co-instruct, and co-assess an integrated classroom of MLs and non-MLs.

English language proficiency standards aligned with content standards: How the Next Generation Science Standards and WIDA 2020 reflect each other

AbstractThe Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) provide a vision for contemporary science education with all students, including the fast‐growing population of multilingual learners in the United States K‐12 context. The shifts heralded by the NGSS have resulted in significant changes to English language proficiency (ELP) or English language development (ELD) standards so they better align with content standards and support all students, including multilingual learners, to engage in language‐rich disciplinary practices (e.g., arguing from evidence). The purpose of this article is to describe ELP/ELD standards aligned with content standards. Specifically, we describe how the policy initiatives of the NGSS as science standards and WIDA 2020 as ELP/ELD standards reflect each other in terms of conceptual foundations and architecture of the standards guiding classroom practices. By becoming more explicitly aware of how science standards and language standards present “mirror images” of each other, science educators will be better positioned to collaborate with their language education colleagues. As this article is intended to engage science educators who are generally familiar with the NGSS but likely new to ELP/ELD standards, we describe WIDA 2020 in detail and in ways accessible to a broad audience. In doing so, we aim to ensure the science education and language education communities are coordinated in their efforts to promote equitable science learning for all students, including multilingual learners. We close with implications for research, policy, and practice through collaboration between science education (as well as other content areas) and language education.

Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan di SMP Islam Al Arief Muaro Jambi Berbasis Pesantren

This study aims to determine the quality component planning carried out at Al Arief Islamic Middle School, the implementation of the quality components carried out in an effort to develop Islamic Boarding School-Based Education Management, Quality Control carried out related to the implementation of the development of Islamic Boarding School-Based Education Management, and Follow-up efforts carried out by schools regarding the implementation development of Islamic Boarding School-Based Education quality management. This study uses a qualitative research approach that is analytical-descriptive in nature. Data collection is done by observation (Observation), Interview (Interview), Documentation and Audio and Visual Data. The results of the study stated that in the preparation of educational planning. it was found that planning was adjusted to the availability of human resources in the environment and supplemented by external resources, taking into account conditions and situations in society, based on a sense of responsibility to foster the interests of educational institutions. Pesantren-based education quality planning is based on eight National Education Standards (SNP) covering: Graduate competency standards, Content Standards, Process Standards, Education Assessment Standards, Education Personnel Standards, Facilities and Infrastructure Standards, Management Standards, Financing Standards. Implementation of Islamic Boarding School-based Quality Components for SMP Islam Al-Arief Muaro Jambi through habituation and self-development for students. Quality control in the implementation of quality management in Islamic boarding schools, namely the production of teaching materials and learning tools, student evaluation plans, student development evaluation plans, guidance and counseling evaluations carried out at the beginning of the semester before teaching and learning activities take place. Follow-up efforts by teachers and principals took the form of supervision and self-evaluation and were followed up on evaluating the learning process at the end of semester internal meetings. Al Arief Islamic Middle School is a quality school because it meets the National Education Standards (SNP).

Bloody Island Investigation

This article explores an educational unit, developed for the secondary classroom, that critically examines state-led military campaigns against California Indians. The unit, titled “Bloody Island Investigation,” scrutinizes the May 1850 massacre of Pomo Indians by U.S. Army soldiers at Clear Lake, California. Today known as the Bloody Island Massacre, this event exemplifies a pattern of indiscriminate civilian- and military-led violence against Indigenous peoples in the American conquest of California. Although this history is well known among scholars, the scholarship is absent from the California Department of Education’s content standards. The Bloody Island Investigation unit provides educators with models for including this history in middle- and high-school classrooms. The unit consists of a range of primary source materials, including U.S. Army orders and internal reports, newspaper articles, survivor recollections, and disconcertingly varied death-count estimates. By applying to primary sources the rigorous evaluative skills central to historical work, students can decide for themselves what happened at Bloody Island: massacre of innocents, military encounter between armed combatants, or something in between.

Analysis of the degree of social accountability in accreditation standards for basic medical education

According to the World Health Organization, for medical schools to fulfill their obligation of social accountability, it is necessary for medical education, research, and service areas to ref lect the healthcare system’s relevance, quality, cost-effectiveness, and equity. This study utilized Boelen and Heck’s (1995) social accountability grid model to analyze the degree to which the Accreditation Standards of Korean Institute of Medical Education and Evaluation 2019 (ASK2019) standards apply the World Federation for Medical Education’s (WFME) standards. The social accountability characteristics of the former were compared to those of the WFME, the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, and the Australian Medical Council. Experts with experience and certification in medical education and evaluation classified the ASK2019 standards according to the grid model, evaluated social accountability perspectives, and categorized them according to the process, content, and outcome. Of the 92 standards, 61 (66.30%) were selected as social accountability standards; these encompassed all areas. There was a particular focus on outcome-related areas, such as “mission and outcomes,” “student assessment,” “educational evaluation,” and “continuous improvement.” Education and quality were the most common (33, 54.11%), followed by 18 standards related to education and relevance. However, the standards on cost effectiveness and equity corresponding to education, research, and service were significantly insufficient. As a result of classification using a logic model, many criteria were incorporated into the process, producing results similar to those of international accreditation institutions. Therefore, to fulfill medical schools’ social accountability, it is necessary to develop cost effectiveness and equity standards with reference to grid models and expand them beyond education to include research and service areas. Developing content and outcome standards is also required.

Universities, heritage, and non-museum institutions: a methodological proposal for sustainable documentation

To provide a sustainable methodology for documenting the small (and underfunded) but often important university heritage collections. The sequence proposed by the DBLC (Database Life Cycle) (Coronel and Morris, Database Systems: Design, Implementation, & Management. Cengage Learning, Boston, 2018; Oppel Databases a beginner’s guide. McGraw-Hill, New York, 2009) is followed, focusing on the database design phase. The resulting proposals aim at harmonising the different documentation tools developed by GLAM institutions (acronym that aims to highlight the common aspects of Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums), all of which are present in the university environment. The work phases are based mainly on the work of Valle, Fernández Cacho, and Arenillas (Muñoz Cruz et al. Introducción a la documentación del patrimonio cultural. Consejería de Cultura de la Junta de Andalucía, Seville, 2017), combined with the experience acquired from the creation of the virtual museum at our institution. The creation of a working team that includes university staff members is recommended because we believe that universities have sufficient power to manage their own heritage. For documentation, we recommend the use of application profiles that consider the new trends in semantic web and LOD (Linked Open Data) and that are created using structural interchange standards such as Dublin Core, LIDO, or Darwin Core, which should be combined with content and value standards adapted from the GLAM area. The application of the methodology described above will make it possible to obtain quality metadata in a sustainable way given the limited resources of university collections. A proposed metadata schema is provided as an annex.

Laboratory-adapted and wild-type black soldier flies express differential plasticity in bioconversion and nutrition when reared on urban food waste streams.

The black soldier fly (BSF) offers a potential solution to address shortages of feed and food sources; however, selecting effective rearing substrates remains a major hurdle in BSF farming. In an urban area like Singapore, current practice is based on rearing BSF on homogeneous waste streams (e.g., spent brewery grains or okara) because heterogeneous food wastes (e.g., mixed kitchen/canteen waste or surplus cooked food) present several operational challenges with respect to the standardization of development, nutritional content, and harvesting. In this study, we compared two genetic strains of BSF larvae (wild-type and laboratory-adapted line) in a bioconversion experiment with diverse types of food waste (homogeneous/heterogeneous; plant/meat) and we quantified the phenotypic plasticity. Our results demonstrate different plasticity in bioconversion performance, larval growth and larval nutrition between the two BSF lines. This difference may be attributed to the selective breeding the laboratory-adapted line has experienced. Notably, larval lipid content displayed little to no genetic variation for plasticity compared with larval protein and carbohydrate content. Despite variation in larval development, heterogeneous food wastes can produce better performance in bioconversion, larval growth, and larval nutrient content than homogeneous food waste. All-meat diets result in high larvae mortality but larval survival could be rescued by mixing meat with plant-based food wastes. Overall, we suggest using mixed meals for BSF larvae feeding. Targeted breeding may be a promising strategy for the BSF industry but it is important to consider the selection effects on plasticity in larval nutrition carefully. © 2023 The Authors. A Comparative Study of Music Curriculum Standard of Chinese Compulsory Education Art Curriculum ----Take 2022 Edition and 2011 Edition as Examples

The quality of art curriculum standards determines the quality of national music education in a country. Therefore, the study of art curriculum standards has attracted more and more attention from all over the world. This paper takes the 2022 and 2011 versions of the art curriculum standards in mainland China as the research object, and uses the comparative research method to deepen the cognition of the 2022 version of the art curriculum standards and predict the problems that may be encountered in practice through the comparison of the curriculum core, curriculum content and evaluation standards, so as to optimize the teaching process.

Examination of the Interactive Digital Mathematics Games According to NCTM Standards

This study aimed to examine the interactive digital games that are open to access at the secondary education level on the Education Informatics Network [EIN] platform according to NCTM standards. 20 interactive mathematics games that are open to access on the EIN platform have been reached. Accessed games were analysed descriptively with a code book developed by Joung and Byun (2021) based on the NCTM Content and Process Standards. According to the results of the study, it was determined that the majority of the games are focused on the Numbers and Operations. All of the games targeted fifth and sixth graders, and no games were included for probability domain. Geometry has the highest mean scores for content standards while algebra has the lowest. Games related to geometry, measurement, and numbers exhibit a moderate degree of alignment with the underlying content domains, whereas games centered on data and algebra show a relatively weaker correspondence between the content and the contextual aspects of the game. On the other hand, as for the process standards, algebra has the highest mean scores while geometry and numbers have the lowest mean scores. Highest mean scores for process standards belong to problem solving for data, reasoning and proof for measurement, connections for data and algebra, representations and communication for algebra. Among the process standards, reasoning and proof, and communication were represented with the lowest means for all domains. Considering the results it is advisable to revise digital interactive mathematics games to meet the content and process standards.

What kind of affective citizen? An analysis of state social emotional learning standards

ABSTRACT Emotion plays an important role in how young people acquire the skills, knowledge, and dispositions of engaged citizenship, including being able to empathize, listen to multiple perspectives, and build relationships of solidarity with others. This study investigated how social emotional learning (SEL) standards in 17 U.S. states guided the preparation of youth for affective citizenship. The concept of affective citizenship was used to analyze how SEL standards encourage youth to feel about their fellow citizens, how public behaviors or attitudes are managed, and how emotions can fuel civic engagement to address problems of social injustice. Findings indicated that SEL standards conceptualize emotions as individualized experience, teach students to resolve conflicts through civility and cooperation, and favor individual responses to injustice. Implications are discussed for how to leverage SEL standards alongside social studies content standards to promote justice-oriented affective citizenship in the current socio-political climate.

Components of sludge from municipal wastewater treatment plants and its evaluation for land application in JiUJiang city of China

Municipal sewage sludge has a potential for widespread application on land, but the implementation of new standards for the agricultural use of sludge in China support a cautious approach. The organic matter, nutrients, and heavy metals in sewage sludge from four municipal wastewater treatment plants in Jiujiang City of China were continuously monitored. The feasibility for its land use was analyzed from three aspects such as sludge nutrients, heavy metal pollution levels, and potential ecological risks in soil. The average content of Cd, Cu, Zn, Cr, Ni, Pb, Hg and As in the sludge of Jiujiang City are 1.85, 305.25, 764.48, 170.57, 42.45, 42.27, 0.59, 28.79 mg∙kg-1, which are less than or close to mean value of heavy metals in China (except As), and all meet the minimum standards of heavy metal content in the sludge according to Chinese Quality of sludge from municipal wastewater treatment plant (GB24188-2009). The maximum content of Cu, Zn, Cr, and As exceed the control standards of pollutants in sludge for agricultural use, and the maximum value of Cu and Cr are close to the limit of landscaping standards. The average contents of organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, and total nutrients in sludge are 385.16, 34.14, 11.05, 7.87, 53.06 g∙kg-1, respectively. The organic matter content meets the limit value (no less than 200 g∙kg-1) of Chinese Control standards of pollutants in sludge for agricultural use (GB 4284-2018), and the total nutrients content meets certain content limit (no less than 40 g∙kg-1) of total nutrients in China’s organic fertilizer. The single-factor pollution index and Nemerow’s synthetic pollution index methods were used to assess the pollution of heavy metals. The heavy metal pollution indexes (PI) are in descending order: Cd > Cu > Zn > Cr > As > Ni > Pb > Hg. The PI shows that Cd and Cu are in strong pollution level, Zn is in moderate pollution level, and As, Ni, Pb, Hg are in absolute safe level. The potential ecological risk levels of heavy metal are ranked in the following order: Cd> Cu> As> Ni> Zn> Cr > Pb. The monomial potential ecological risk coefficients reveal that Cd is in extremely strong ecological risk, Cu is in medium ecological risk and other heavy metals are in slight ecological risk. The results indicate that Cd and Cu are the main contributors to the pollution and potential ecological risks of heavy metals in soil, to which more attention should be paid during sludge disposal. Being rich in organic matter and inorganic plant nutrients，sewage sludge in Jiujiang City may be widely used on soil, but availability of potential toxic metals exceeding the limit value often restricts its uses. Before being harmlessly treated, the sludge in Jiujiang City should not be used on agricultural land and may be applied with highly caution on landscaping and land improvement, but it can be used as cover materials for co-landfilling.

Dampak Implementasi Pemenuhan Standar Nasional Pendidikan Terhadap Kualitas Pembelajaran

This study aims to 1) obtain a description of the fulfillment of national standards for teaching staff at Inpres Tewil Elementary School, 2) to describe the inhibiting factors in fulfilling the fulfillment of SNP standard teaching staff at SD Inpres Tewil. 3) to find out the efforts to overcome obstacles in fulfilling the SNP at SD Inpres Tewil. Qualitative research with descriptive method. The research instrument used was an interview guide, observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the evaluation of student learning. Data testing was carried out using data triangulation techniques. The data obtained was analyzed based on the following steps: 1) data collection, 2) reduction, 3) data display, and 4) verification and conclusion. The results showed that the National Education Compliance Standards, both teaching and educational staff, infrastructure, content standards and process standards did not fully meet the criteria according to the National Education Standards. Christian Religious Teachers because at SD Inpres Tewil there is only 1 teacher available, while the number of Christian students is 125 students, so teachers experience difficulties in guided learning, which has an impact on the quality of student learning for Christian Religion subjects in character building and faith growth in introduction to Jesus Christ. The obstacle faced by the SD Tewil Education and Culture Office is the lack of responsiveness by the East Halmahera Education and Culture Office in coordinating educators specifically for Christian Religion Teachers, Facilities and Infrastructure. The conclusion is that the school principal continues to coordinate with the East Halmahera Education and Culture Office in fulfilling teaching staff, as well as providing facilities and infrastructure. In addition, the education office also needs to pay attention to other standards, so that the quality of education at SD Inpres Tewil schools can be optimally achieved.

Implementasi Manajemen Oleh Kepala Sekolah Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan Di SMK Negeri 1 Siborongborong

The aim of this research is to understand how the principal's management is implemented in improving the quality of education at SMK Negeri 1 Siborongborong. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The main subject of this research is the school principal and the sources of information supporting this research are teaching and educational staff, committees and students. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this research found that the implementation of school principal management to improve the quality of education at SMK Negeri 1 Siborongborong was through planning and preparing work plans as well as preparing the school's vision, mission and goals. Furthermore, the school principal's efforts to improve the quality of education are carried out, such as grouping the tasks of each teacher and employee according to their abilities and expertise. Apart from that, in carrying out the process of improving the quality of education, the principal mobilizes the resources available at the school by providing encouragement and motivation in implementing each activity. Finally, in terms of achieving educational quality, school principals routinely carry out evaluation activities and make improvements so that the quality of education becomes better. Therefore, school principal management in improving the quality of education can support the realization of eight national education standards, namely content standards, process standards, graduate competency standards, teacher and teaching staff standards, facility and infrastructure standards, and management standards. standards, financing criteria and evaluation criteria, educate.

A Study on the Influence of Ecological Translation Theory on University English Translation Teaching in the Context of Big Data Analysis

Abstract This paper aims to investigate the influence of ecological translation theory on university English translation teaching, constructs a regression prediction model prediction result evaluation index on the basis of a regression model, uses the regression prediction model to analyze the data of classroom percentage in the process of university English teaching, and combines the prediction result evaluation index to study the influence of ecological translation theory on university English translation teaching, by analyzing the English translation content and translation By analyzing the two factors of English translation content and translation standards, suggestions are made for the subsequent development of university English translation teaching. The result data showed that in the university English translation classroom, the teacher-led time accounted for 60 minutes, the students’ independent discussion time was only 20 minutes, and there were only 10 minutes to test everyone’s classroom results. In terms of classroom content, the highest percentages of vocabulary content and grammar content were 30%, 40%, and 35%, respectively, and the lowest percentages of translation content were 10%, 5%, and 5%, respectively. The research data in this paper provide an effective reference for university English translation teaching and promote the development and progress of university English translation teaching.
