Pengembangan Kecerdasan Spiritual Siswa Melalui Pembiasaan Kegiatan Sholat Dhuha Berjamaah Di SMPN 1 Purwosari

The purpose of education is to provide moral education with values and norms that will be an example in behaving Education is not only about providing knowledge but also instilling the value of potential intellectual intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ), and spiritual intelligence (SQ), in its condition in the individual. Spiritual intelligence (SQ) has a role in changing spiritual values or religious values such as honesty and trust, This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, the results of the research are in the form of data collection and descriptions or descriptive narratives. Then inter-presenting the data obtained through observation and interviews. The implementation procedure is to carry out arrangements in advance, ask permission with PAI teachers to be able to conduct interviews or collect information so that interview activities can be carried out as expected. The results of the search conducted by the researcher concluded that from all students of SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari as a whole from grade 7 to grade 9 had participated in carrying out the Dhuha prayer activity. Therefore, in this study, from the discussion, there is a positive and significant influence between Dhuha prayer on the Spiritual Intelligence (Spiritual Quotient) of students of SMP Negeri 1 Purwosari. With this, it can be concluded that the abilities carried out by students greatly affect the students' Spiritual Quotient. From the observations made and some findings obtained by the researchers, it shows that the results of the measure of discipline, behavior in learning at school and all habituation activities can also be applied at home with good results.

META-ANALISIS LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERNUANSA EMOTIONAL SPIRITUAL QUOTIENT

The development of Learner Worksheets (LKPD) in biology learning needs to be optimised for the biology learning process. LKPD can be equipped with a 21st century learning model, one of which is Problem Based Learning. The Merdeka Curriculum does not only prioritise intellectual but also spiritual attitudes, therefore, LKPD can be associated with Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ). The purpose of this study was to analyse the development of PBL-based LKPD and LKPD with ESQ nuances. The research method used is the meta-analysis method, which collects similar articles from various national journals from 2019-2023. The sample used in this study was 10 articles related to the development of PBL-based LKPD and LKPD with ESQ nuances. The results of this study obtained an average validity value of 90.8% categorised as very valid while the average practicality value obtained was 90.1% categorised as very practical. Based on the results of the analysis, the development of PBL-based LKPD and LKPD with ESQ nuances meets the criteria of very valid very practical so it is feasible to use in the learning process.

PENGARUH SPIRITUAL QUOTIENT (SQ) TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KINERJA KARYAWAN TRAVEL HAJI DAN UMRAH DI LAMPUNG

The purpose of this research is to see the influence of the Spiritual Quotient (SQ) on increasing the performance of Hajj and Umrah Travel Employees as well as the main factors of Spiritual Quotient (SQ) that have the most influence on increasing the performance of Hajj and Umrah Travel Employees. Umrah travel employees. The number of samples in this research was 100 employee respondents from 10 Hajj and Umrah Travel in Lampung. The research instrument uses a questionnaire, with the analysis methods in this research being Regression Analysis and Factor Analysis. First research results: Spiritual Quotient (SQ) has a significant and positive effect on employee performance, meaning that the better the Spiritual Quotient (SQ) value, the performance of Hajj and Umrah Travel employees will increase and vice versa, the worse it will be. The Spiritual Quotient (SQ) value will be lower. performance of Hajj and Umrah Travel employees. The results of the second study show that patience is the most dominant factor in the Spiritual Quotient (SQ) to improve the performance of Hajj and Umrah travel employees compared to three other factors, namely transcendent awareness, forgiveness, and meaning of life.

THE ROLE OF ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR BASED ON SPIRITUAL QUOTIENT AND SELF EFFICACY ON THE PERFORMANCE OF CV ALIANSYAH PATI EMPLOYEES

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of spiritual quotient and self-efficacy on employee performance with organizational citizenship behavior as an intervening variable. The population in this study were all CV employees. Aliansyah Pati was 105. Based on the results of distributing questionnaires to all employees, a sample size of 98 people was obtained. The analysis tool used is Partial Least Square.The research results show that the spiritual quotient and self-efficacy are able to bring about better changes in improving employee behavior to be willing to work extra towards their work. Spiritual quotient, self-efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior are also able to provide better changes in improving employee performance. Organizational citizenship behavior has been proven to be an intervening variable between spiritual quotient and employee performance. Aṣṭāṅga-yoga dan Upaya Peningkatan Kecerdasan Adversitas Manusia

Scientists discovered the paradigm of three human intelligences: intellectual, emotional, and spiritual. This paradigm is known as Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ), and Spiritual Quotient (SQ). These three are the most important human intelligences. In addition, adversity intelligence, meaning the ability to face challenges and overcome them, is evolving. This qualitative research focuses on texts to reveal the Hindu concept of intelligence. Research and discussion show that some forms of Hindu intelligence are faith (śradhhā), strength, persistence (vīrya), memory (smṛti), and concentration power (smṛti). The concept of endurance, or resilience, is the nexus of adversity intelligence in both Hindu and Western science. According to the Western perspective, human endurance is linked to the body and mind, making it vulnerable to emptiness. Hinduism thrives on fortitude, divine strength, and readiness to accept failure, happiness, and sorrow with a balanced attitude (Stitaprajña) and ready to fight again. Aṣṭāṅga-yoga can be used to improve adversity intelligence. The more enterprising, diligent, disciplined, and earnest one is, the better the results will be. Adversity intelligence can improve endurance, fighting power, and persistence, interpersonal skills, balance, obedience, and devotion, and a sense of higher purpose in life. Human life as a whole will be affected by these effects.

IJCM_358A: A Study of Adversity Quotient, Emotional Quotient and Spiritual Quotient among Medical Undergraduates in Nanded District of Maharashtra

Background: Medical Education deals with vast curriculum, human interactions and huge amount of stress. The changing scenario in medical education with introduction of CBME pattern, just having high Cognitive Intelligence is not enough to achieve academic success. With increasing stress in medical education and uncertainties like Covid-19, it is high time we think beyond Intelligence quotient for professional success. Adversity Quotient (AQ) is a measure of a person’s ability to cope with and overcome adversity. Emotional Quotient (EQ) measures person’s ability to identify and manage their own emotions as well as emotions of others. Spiritual Quotient (SQ) correlates to a person’s awareness and consciousness. Objectives: This study aims to assess AQ, EQ and SQ among Medical Undergraduate students and correlation between them. Methodology: A cross sectional study was conducted from November 2022 to October 2023 on 466 Medical Undergraduate students in Dr Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical college, Nanded, Maharashtra. Data was collected using predesigned, pretested, semi structured e-questionnaire. Data was compiled in MS Excel and analyzed using SPSS. Results: The participants included 262 males and 204 females. The mean AQ, EQ and SQ were 144.28, 329.81 and 57.14 respectively. The study showed high positive correlation between AQ and SQ (r=0.807; p= 0.000), AQ and EQ (r= 0.760; p= 0.000) and EQ and SQ (r= 0.871; p= 0.000) and correlation was significant at 0.01 level (2 tailed). Conclusion: This study concludes high positive correlation between AQ and SQ, AQ and EQ, EQ and SQ. Exploring these quotients helps students become more resilient and better prepared to cope up with the curriculum.

Spiritual Intelligence, happiness and success of students in select higher education institutions of University of Delhi

Research background: Spiritual Intelligence (SI), often quoted as Spiritual Quotient (SQ) by some, means becoming aware of (realising) and expressing one’s innate spiritual qualities (love, peace, bliss, and purity) through cognitive thinking, attitude, and behaviour. Once we are aware of the true purpose of our being in the universe, our spiritual qualities help us in drawing spiritual strength to remain stable in all situations (Emotional Intelligence), be neutral towards negativity, truly understand others, and be at peace with not just one’s own self but with others and the world at large. When Spiritual Intelligence is applied in the workplace setting, it helps in aligning personal values with a clear sense of purpose, enhancing our power to accept change and adapt to newer perspectives in life. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between spiritual intelligence, happiness and academic achievement among the students of University of Delhi. In this paper, an attempt has been made to understand the predominant factors strengthening spiritual intelligence and to critically evaluate the relationship between students’ spiritual intelligence, happiness, and academic achievement. Research methodology: Responses of 240 students at the undergraduate level from different colleges under the University of Delhi were studied to find out their level of spiritual intelligence, happiness and academic intelligence. Oxford Happiness Questionnaire, SISRI-24 Spiritual Intelligence Measurement Scale of D. King, and a self-designed Questionnaire known as Academic Achievement Assessment Tool for assessing the Academic Intelligence of the students were used by the authors as the data gathering tools. Findings/results: The results indicate that the Spiritual Intelligence and Happiness of the students are positively and significantly related to one another on both an overall basis and also in the case of males and females specifically at 1% significance level. However, this association was found to be more prominent for female students. Originality/value/novelty: The study offers future directions and implications for higher education practitioners. It also suggests that Spiritual Intelligence would be beneficial for the students as it increases their psychological well-being and for the betterment of the global society as a whole.

Refleksi Orientasi Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Kecerdasan Profetik

The orientation of Islamic education generally refers to two directions of interest, namely serving Allah SWT and understanding humans as caliphs on earth with various kinds of duties and responsibilities. The focus of this research is prophetic intelligence in growing the potential of Islamic life through the orientation of Islamic education at the Puncak Darussalam Islamic Boarding School and maintaining a good balance of relationships between individual intelligence (Intelligence Quotient), emotional intelligence (Emotional Quotient) and spiritual intelligence (Spiritual Quotient) which is prophetic. The figure of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as uswah hasanah or the best role model for mankind. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study type. The important findings of this research are: (a) the growth of the potential for students' Islamic life and an environment based on prophetic intelligence (b) the maintenance of a good, balanced relationship between humans and their God as caliph on earth. These findings indicate the importance of Islamic boarding schools responding positively in managing students and their environment in accordance with the orientation of Islamic education and the Islamic boarding school's vision and mission

Exploring Islamic Extracurricular Mediation: The Impact of Islamic Religious Education Learning and Peers on Spiritual Quotient

<p><em>This study aims to examine the effect of Islamic religious education learning and peers on students' spiritual Quotient and the mediating role of Islamic extracurriculars in the relationship between the two variables. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey method to examine the construction of students' spiritual Quotient variables. This study used a purposive sampling. The data collection technique was carried out through a questionnaire with four variables using a Likert scale. The results showed that Islamic religious education learning has a positive but insignificant influence on students' Spiritual Quotient. On the other hand, peers and Islamic extracurriculars have a positive and significant influence on spiritual Quotient. The implications of the study show that Islamic religious learning needs to be supported by extracurricular activities and religious programs in schools. Research recommendations include strengthening extracurricular programs, regular monitoring, and increasing the involvement of learners who do not participate in extracurricular activities. This is expected to improve the overall spiritual Quotient of all learners.</em></p>

Emotional and spiritual quotient for sustainable education’s service quality

<span lang="EN-US">A sustainable ecosystem of universities needs to show outstanding performance in the areas of employability, institutional social responsibility, and creative and performing arts. Thus, this study determined the influential role of emotional quotient (EQ) and spiritual quotient (SQ) on the lecturers’ excellence service quality (ESQ), which eventually led to effective classroom teaching. The data of 127 respondents were analyzed using the structural equation model with partial least square. The results confirmed that both types of quotients positively influence the lecturers’ teaching progression at the university. EQ and SQ have the encouraging power to motivate the academicians for the best service to the university through a quality learning experience. It can be concise that institutions that practice EQ and SQ values can perform better and blend a harmonious working spirit and tandem with the university’s growth. Support for </span><span lang="EN-US">sustainable development goal</span><span lang="EN-US"> (SDG-4) via EQ and SQ is now required in humanizing education to ensure academicians’ competency and well-being, particularly in the aftermath of the Corona Virus Disease-19 disruption. Policymakers in the university should now capitalize the intelligence through professional initiatives. This study could have been better with a bigger sample size, but the investigation had limited access due to the university's policy on privacy.</span>

THE INFLUENCE OF SPENDING HABITS, SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE, AND FINANCIAL LITERACY ON THE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OF STUDENTS (CASE STUDY OF AR-ROYAN BAITUL HAMDI STUDENT BOARDING SCHOOL YOGYAKARTA)

This research was conducted to examine the effect of spending habits, spiritual quotient, and financial literancy to financial management of Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa (PPM) Ar-Royyan Baitul Hamdi Yogyakarta students. The population in this study were sutend of Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa (PPM) Ar-Royyan Baitul Hamdi Yogyakarta students with samples taken using simple random sampling. Primary data collecting by distributing questionners. There are 150 quietionnaires processed in this study. The data analysis in this study used. The data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software to test the research data. The result shows. The result showed that spending habits, spiritual quotient, and financial literation simultaneously has a significant effect on financial management of Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa (PPM) Ar-Royyan Baitul Hamdi Yogyakarta students. Partially, the spending habits variable does not have a significant effect on financial management students of Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa (PPM) Ar-Royyan Baitul Hamdi Yogyakarta with a significant level of 0.121 above 0.05. The spiritual quotient variable has a significant negative effect on financial management student of Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa (PPM) Ar-Royyan Baitul Hamdi Yogyakarta with a significant level of 0.708 above 0.05. The financial literacy variable has a positif significant effect on financial manaement Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa (PPM) Ar-Royyan Baitul Hamdi Yogyakarta students with a significant level of 0,000 below 0,05. Spending habits have no effect and are not significant on the financial management of students at the Ar-Royan Baitul Hamdi Yogyakarta Islamic Boarding School (PPM). Furthermore, spiritual intelligence has a negative and insignificant effect on the financial management of students at the Ar-Royan Baitul Hamdi Yogyakarta Islamic Boarding School (PPM). Furthermore, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the financial management of Yogyakarta PPM students. Dart Emotional Spiritual Quotient (DESQ) Impact on Employee Performance and Role of Training Module (TM-DESQ): A Public Enterprise Perspective for Islamic Republic of Pakistan

This study is focused on the effect of emotional intelligence (EQ), spiritual intelligence (SQ), and dart accountability quotients training modules (TM-DESQ) on employees’ performance working in the public enterprise (and private sector) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Research manifests that EQ and SQ positively and significantly affect employee performance, progress, and development. The importance of emotional intelligence has been widely emphasized in human resource studies, similarly, literature articulates that accountability is an essential factor for the good governance of the public sector enterprise performance. Worldwide studies have a few contradictory results concerning EQ and SQ, and their impact on performance. Training programs on SQ learning lack longitudinal studies. SQ training’s impact on individual learning, performance, and HRD training was a research gap bridged through this study. A sample of 42 public and private sector employees took their EQ, SQ, and Dart Accountability scores as pen-and-paper self-report measures whereas the performance of employees was reported by their supervisors or managers as the second source of data. Basic training on EQ, SQ, and Dart Accountability (DESQ) was designed and TM-DESQ Intervention was instructed to respondents through webinars amid the COVID-19 Pandemic. The results demonstrated a positive and significant impact of emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and dart accountability on employee performance. However, the insignificant effect of a few facets of some variables has opened other dimensions of research.

This study aims to examine the effect of emotional quotient, spiritual quotient, learning behavior and teaching methods of lecturers on the level of understanding of student accounting. This research was conducted on undergraduate students of the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics at Islamic University of Majapahit and STIE AMM Mataram. This type of research is associative quantitative research. The population used in this study were all accounting study program students, totaling 1.460 respondents. The sample used was 100 respondents with Slovin formula as the sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire, with a Likert scale as a measuring tool. Data analysis in this study was linear regression analysis with the help of SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that emotional intelligence has no significant positive effect on the level of understanding of accounting, spiritual intelligence has a significant positive effect on the level of understanding of accounting, learning behavior has a significant positive effect on the level of understanding of accounting. accounting, lecturer teaching methods have no significant positive effect on the level of understanding of accounting.

IMPLEMENTATION OF DIGITAL ERA CHARACTER EDUCATION BASED ON EMOTIONALLY QUOTIENT AND SPIRITUAL QUOTIENT AT ATLANTIS PLUS JUNIOR SCHOOL

The development of the digital era also contributes to the domination of the role of technology in the lives of students at school, making the implementation of character education increasingly difficult. The emergence of various effect cases due to decreased morality such as cases of violence, brawls, association freedom, life style and many other phenomena of moral decadence are forms of weakening character handling in the world of education so that the patterns and perspectives of students' lives tend to be pragmatic, transactional, hedonistic, materialistic and secularistic which causes the intelligence of the heart to decrease, less interested in spiritual values and tend to follow the style and taste of hedonism. This research was written in order to answer how the roles and functions of educational institutions encourage the implementation of character education in everyday life at schools. Educational institutions are required to reformulate and rearrange effective movements and steps in the framework of implementing character education in schools to respond to the challenges of the times in the digital era in educational institutions starting from elementary and secondary levels, both formal and non-formal. This research was formulated through a qualitative descriptive study approach based on Library Research (literary study). The results of this study indicate that implementing character education based on emotional and spiritual quotient is very important because it has a great impact on emotional calm and increases the enthusiasm for the spiritual life of students while at the same time has a positive effect on increasing the quality of learning that is more fun, creative, inspiring and full of meaning. In addition, students become inspired and motivated to apply Islamic character values in everyday life such as caring, courtesy, and honesty and responsibility where all of these are able to create a very positive climate in everyday life at school where all of that is very influential. towards increasing the morality and mentality of students as a provision for them to face future global competition.

This research focuses on how dhikr can improve cognitive function and reduce stress and anxiety. This research method is a literature study with a psycho-sufism approach. The data were obtained from the results of previous research and also from several journal articles. Data analysis using content analysis. The results of this study indicate that dhikr increases intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence, as seen in increased empathy and emotional regulation. The author explores the spiritual benefits of dhikr, arguing that it can deepen one's relationship with God and provide a sense of purpose and meaning in life. The role of dhikr in holistic development and provides insight into the potential benefits of dhikr practice. The practice of dhikr can profoundly impact a person's intellectual, emotional and spiritual well-being, making it a valuable tool for personal growth and development.

College Students' Readiness to Change in Physical Inactivity Behavior using Perfection Quotient Behavioral Model

Background: In 2022, about 25% of U.S. adults reported engaging in no leisure-time physical activity, and among those who reported being physically active, only 24% engaged in enough physical activity to meet both aerobic and muscle-strengthening physical activity guidelines. Physical inactivity has been linked to a higher risk of all-cause mortality, numerous chronic diseases, and negative mental health outcomes such as anxiety and depression. Physical inactive behavior is influenced by individual and environmental influences and becomes more acute in college students. Objectives: In this study, we deploy a novel behavioral model called Perfection Quotient (PQ) and its components/ constructs Health Emotional Quotient (HEQ), Health X Quotient (HXQ), and Health Spiritual Quotient (HSQ) to explain the readiness to change for physical inactivity behavior in a sample of college students in Mississippi, USA. Methods: Cross-sectional study was undertaken at a public university in Mississippi. A random sample of 572 was drawn from 5,000 students from the university registrar’s list. A 37-item survey delivered via QualtricsTM online survey software was administered among students aged > 18 years. The survey included questions on the three constructs of PQ. The association between these three components and physical inactivity was assessed using binomial logistic regression. Results: Of the survey respondents 51.2% (n=293) reported intentions to change their physical inactivity behavior. The mean scores of the constructs of the PQ model were, HEQ = 29.81 units (SD = 5.74; observed and possible range: 0-40), HXQ = 23.67 units (SD = 4.67; observed range: 0-34; possible 0-36), HSQ = 17.78 units (SD = 4.93; observed and possible range: 0-24), PQ = 71.38 units (SD 12.18; observed range: 0-97; possible 0-100). HEQ with its components of self-awareness, mood management, and self-motivation had an odds ratio of 0.947 (95% CI: 0.905 to 0.992) and was marginally negatively associated with the likelihood of readiness to change physical inactivity behavior (p<0.02). HXQ with its components of cautiousness, independence, and competition had an odds ratio of 0.996 (95% CI: 0.944 to 1.051) and was not a significant predictor (p>0.05). HSQ with its components of self-love and love for others was marginally positively associated with the likelihood of readiness to change physical activity behavior (p<0.005) and had an odds ratio of 1.077 (95% CI: 1.022 to 1.135). Conclusion: These findings suggest that the three constructs of the PQ model need to evolve further, instrumentation augmented, and further longitudinal studies designed.

Peran Kebudayaan Religius di Sekolah Terhadap Perkembangan Kecerdasan Spiritual Siswa (Studi Kasus Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Jakarta)

<p><strong>The school has important role to improve the quality of students. Not only in intelectual side but also for improving the quality of spiritual and piety os students. This research aims to analyse how the influence of the school environment can affect the development of spiritual quotient of student in Madrasah Pembangunan UIN Jakarta. The study method used quantitative method. The author used <em>field research method </em>to gain the firm and secondary data. The data collection techniques was taken by spreading questionnaire for 90 students, observation and collecting the important document. This study found that there was positive influence of the religious culture in the school could affect the positive influence in betta coefficients rate 0,372 (37%) into development of stydent’s spiritual quotient. The religious culture is unofficial effort of education out of the class containing : religious activity (duha, prayer, jama’ah prayer), good attitude among students and teacher, kind culture in the school. It suggests to all teacher to improve the religious culture in the school to make students more religious and get development of spiritual quotient.</strong></p><p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong> – <em>Hidden Curriculum, Kebudayaan Religius, Kecerdasan Spiritual.</em></p>

The Effect of Spiritual Quotient, Affective Commitment, and Perceived Organizational Support towards Work Engagement and Employee Performance of the Teacher in Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Region

This study aims to determine the effect of spiritual quotient, affective commitment, and perceived organizational support towards work engagement and employee performance of the teacher in Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Region. In this study, the researchers used purposive sampling technique to determine the research sample. The sample used was 80 civil servant teachers in Langke Rembong District, Manggarai Region. This research used quantitative approach and PLS-SEM method for data analysis. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires and analyzed descriptively by conducting validity, reliability, and path analysis tests by using Smart-PLS 4.0 software. The results showed that spiritual quotient (X1) affects work engagement (Z), spiritual quotient (X1) affects employee performance (Y), affective commitment (X2) affects work engagement (Z), affective commitment (X2) affects employee performance (Y), perceived organizational support (X3) has no effects on work engagement (Z), perceived organizational support (X3) affects employee performance (Y) and work engagement (Z) affects employee performance (Y).

After participating in the AEP, Asnaf became the zakat payer and directly will be give the positive effect to zakat collection. However, many small businesses, especially business from Asnaf entrepreneurs are financially fragile because of Covid- 19 challenges. To meet the challenges posed by the Covid-19, the Asnaf entrepreneurs had to react in agile and decisive ways by relating the spirituality toward business and able to maintain as the zakat payer soon. This involves conducting an after-action review in spiritual by lessons learned from the pandemic and enhance the business value. Therefore, in this paper, we explore the Spiritual’s Asnaf entrepreneurs toward zakat on business after facing the Covid-19. The analysis was performed to examine the reliability and validity of the measurement, and the structural equation modelling techniques (SEM). Spiritual among Asnaf entrepreneur’s toward zakat on business after Covid-19. Hence, the study provides an insight to zakat institution that the Covid-19 seek out the opportunities emerging in the recovery and stability return by move to digitalization business.
