The paper considers paroemias containing names of vegetable cultivated plants as objects of linguoculturological research of the Russian language as compared to the Chinese and Korean languages. The purpose of the study is to identify the nationally specific features of value systems by means of linguoculturological analysis of the paroemial material in Russian as compared to Chinese and Korean and to describe axiological evaluation in the paroemias. Scientific novelty of the study lies in conducting a linguoculturological analysis of the phytonymic stock of paremiological worldview in Russian, Chinese and Korean. In order to provide the most complete description of features peculiar to the paroemias, it is appropriate to give a linguoculturological commentary, which includes such parameters as describing the meaning of the main component of a paroemia, describing its imagery and symbolism, describing its expressive-evaluative connotations. The results of analysing value systems represented by the paroemias indicate that phraseological systems are characterised by national distinctiveness.
