Analysis on Effects of Energy Efficiency Standards of Industry Boiler in China

China industry boilers have characteristics that huge total amount, wide distribution, high energy consumption and heavy pollution. Since the Chinese government revised the energy conservation law in 2007, boiler and other high energy consuming special equipment energy conservation supervision was more and more concerned, and in 2014 the Chinese government has enacted the new revision “atmospheric pollution prevention and control law” in which boiler emissions management requirement was increased. But because of boiler energy conservation and environmental protection work started late in China, relevant working basis is weak and the indicators for boiler efficiency, emissions are not perfect, to a certain extent, it restricted the progress of boiler energy conservation and environmental protection work in China. In this paper, we analysis on the effect of energy efficiency standards of industry boiler in China, and give a suggestion to promote China industry boilers to more energy saving.

Evaluation of slaughterhouse supervision by Veterinary Inspectorate

Owing to its properties, food of animal origin is subject to special supervision by the Veterinary Inspectorate (VI), and food production requires close adherence to official regulations. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the veterinary supervision of abattoirs in Poland on the basis of data generated by the VI in 2005-2015, which are available on the website of the General Veterinary Office (the RRW-5 report). The data from the reports for particular years were used to determine statistical trends for the number of official decisions (warnings and prohibitions) issued by the IV for supervised and controlled abattoirs. It was found that in 2005-2006 (i.e. the transition period, during which abattoirs not yet in compliance with the EU requirements were allowed to operate) there was a 31.36% reduction in the number of abattoirs (from 762 to 521) with a negative evaluation issued by the VI. In 2007, the number of such abattoirs was comparable (1,432) to that in the previous years, but the VI issued more negative opinions (by 16.52%) than in the previous years because of more restrictive regulations. The results of such actions became visible in 2008, when the number of abattoirs decreased to 731, and the number of those with a negative assessment decreased by 33.28%. Starting from 2010, there was a progressive reduction in the number of decisions issued by the VI: in 2015, it was 66.32% smaller than in 2010 (a drop from 2,500 to 967). The number of decisions decreased along with the number of abattoirs in which poor sanitary conditions were found. An increase in the number of negatively assessed abattoirs results in the VI issuing administrative decisions: first, official warnings (to eliminate irregularities) and then prohibition notices (to stop production). Compared with the years 2005-2013, the years 2014-2015 saw a similar number of warnings and the lowest number of prohibition notices. Although the total number of administrative decisions and prohibition notices issued during 2005-2015 showed a clear downward trend, there was an upward trend in the number of warnings. By using administrative tools commensurate with potential risks to consumers, the VI improves sanitary conditions in abattoirs or eliminates them from the market. The analysis conducted in this study suggests that the sanitary conditions of animal slaughterhouses in Poland are satisfactory, which is partly attributable to the appropriate supervision of such facilities by the VI. .

ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE CAMEL PADA BANK BRI DAN BANK BNI PERIODE 2011-2015

Bank as an intermediary institutions play a very important role in a country's economy. Therefore, the existence of a healthy bank is necessary, in order to achieve that goals banks have to be very careful in running their business and they also need special supervision include control from government through Central Bank which is known as Bank Indonesia. This research aims to examine and analyze the Assessment of the level of health of Commercial Bank, based on Bank Indonesia Regulation No. 13/1 / PBI / 2011, by using CAMEL (Capital, Asset, Management, Earnings, Liquidity) as its benchmarking tools. The ratio used includes financial ratio analysis such as CAR, KAP, NPM, ROA, BOPO and LDR. The object of study includes government-owned public banks listed on the IDX representing the entire population, but samples only taken from the financial statements of Bank BRI and Bank BNI during fiscal year 2011-2015, through research method of comparison of descriptive analysis to financial performance at both Bank (BRI & BNI), it can be concluded whether both of them are in the predicate healthy, healthy enough, less healthy or unhealthy. The results showed that both banks are equally healthy, while BRI have had better improvement of financial performance compared to BNI.Key words : Financial Performance, Financial Ratio, CAMEL Method, Commercial Bank Health.

Analysis of positive international experience in combating human trafficking with the help of the GRETA tool

The article presents results of an analysis of Romanian and Moldova experience in combating trafficking in human beings, which was covered in the GRETA’s Compendium of good practices on the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. GRETA is a Council of Europe monitoring body, designed to assist states in combating human trafficking. For some time now Ukraine is under special supervision of this organization, especially considering its political and economic situation. GRETA visits member states of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings and assesses the state of affairs and measures taken by States to prevent trafficking in human beings. The analysis of best practices allows to identify areas in the fight against the crime of trafficking in persons, which need improvement in Ukraine by amending the existing national legislation or improving administrative practices of public authorities.

Failure of Conservative Treatment of Acute Diverticulitis with Extradigestive Air.

Medical management for perforated diverticulitis without abscess or peritonitis (PDwAP) has a success rate of 40-70%. Identifying patients with a risk of medical treatment failure would improve outcomes. The aim of this study was to identify the risk factors for failure of medical treatment in patients admitted with PDwAP. This multicenter retrospective observational study included all consecutive patients admitted for PDwAP and not surgically treated over a 7-year period. Peritonitis classified on the Hinchey scale was excluded. Potential clinical, biological and radiological risk factors for medical treatment failure were collected and compared between the group of patient with a failure of medical treatment (F) and the group in which treatment did not fail. Data were collected at referral. Ninety-one patients were included, and 29 had a failure of treatment (31.9%). The median heart rate was different between the two groups (p<0.001), at approximately 100/min in the F group. A blood level of C-reactive protein (CRP) ≥150mg/mL was associated with a higher rate of failure (p=0.021), but it was not confirmed in multivariate analysis. Pneumoperitoneum ≥5mm and intraperitoneal liquid located in the pouch of Douglas were more likely to be present in the F group (respectively, p=0.001 and p<0.001). A multivariate analysis showed independent risk factors as being the highest pneumoperitoneum diameter >5mm (OR 5.193; p=0.015) and peritoneal fluid location in the pouch of Douglas (OR 4.103; p=0.036). The severity of sepsis (tachycardia and CRP ≥150mg/mL) and of imaging signs (pneumoperitoneum ≥5mm and peritoneal fluid in the pouch of Douglas) were risk factors for medical treatment failure of PDwAP requiring special supervision so as not to lose time in undertaking surgical management.

Construction and application of "disease-characteristics nursing quality improvement" program

Objective To construct and implement the disease-characteristics nursing quality program (DNQIP) and evaluate its application effect, and explore how to improve nursing quality. Methods Through literature review and focus group interview, the theoretical basis and fundamental framework of DNQIP was established. With the plan, DNQIP was implemented and popularized. The covering range of DNQIP in diseases, the special supervision evaluation of hospitals, the average hospitalization time and patient satisfaction were used to evaluate the effect of DNQIP. Results DNQIP covered 183 kinds of diseases, and the average score of special supervision evaluation increased from (92.34±4.22) of 2013 to (98.67±2.43) of 2015 (t=-10.235, P<0.05) . The average hospitalization time decreased from 8.3 d of 2013 to 7.2 d of 2015 and patient satisfaction increased from 98.0% of 2010 to 99.8% of 2015. Conclusions DNQIP is feasible and beneficial to the improvement of nursing quality, nursing work efficiency and patient satisfaction. Wpływ ustanowienia G-SIIs na funkcjonowanie sektora ubezpieczeniowego – wybrane aspekty

The study characterizes the initiative providing for the special supervision mode over the insurance firms creating systemic risk – G-SIIs and the selected aspects of this initiative potential impact on the insurance market. The discussed potential impact was presented in the system of positive and negative influence on supervision institutions and insurance firms. The conclusion emphasizes that the solutions dedicated to a small number of insurance companies can have an indirect impact on the global insurance market functioning.

Œstrogénothérapie locale en urologie et pelvi-périnéologie. Revue de littérature

To conduct a literature review of the efficiency of vaginal local estrogenotherapy (LE) on genitourinary disorders related to menopause and those side effects. A literature review was conducted using Pubmed database using the keywords vaginal estrogen, urinary incontinence, urgency, urinary tract infection, vulvar and vaginal atrophy, dyspareunia, breast cancer, endometrial cancer, thrombosis. The most relevant articles were selected and analyzed. The LE demonstrates its efficiency on preventing urinary tract infections, treatment of overactive bladder and vaginal disorders of postmenopausal women in controlled studies or meta-analysis level of evidence 1. Local side effects (discharge, erythema, vaginal bleeding, etc.) are rare. The systemic diffusion of low dose LE is limited and allowed to prescribe it to postmenopausal women without special supervision. However, using LE might be avoided in women with a history of oncological breast due to the lack of controlled studies evaluating the risk of developing breast cancer under LE. Except for high-risk women, LE does not increase the risk of thrombosis. Vaginal administration of low dose of estrogen is an effective and safe treatment in the management of postmenopausal genitourinary disorders. However, using LE for women with history of breast cancer or high risk of thrombisis should be avoided.

Psychotherapy supervision developments and innovations for the new millennium: contributions from the cutting edge.

What are some of the most recent, cutting-edge developments and innovations in psychotherapy supervision? And what is their particular significance for supervision now and into its future? In this special supervision issue of the American Journal of Psychotherapy, those questions are considered, and some compelling answers are provided. In what follows, I introduce this special journal issue: (a) define supervision and indicate its purposes; (b) summarize the contents of each innovative paper; and (c) accentuate the significance of each presented development/innovation. The papers contained in this issue boldly speak to supervision's future and provide exciting--and highly profitable--directions to pursue in forever making psychotherapy supervision a far more anchored, accountable, and educational experience.

On Perfecting Construction Hoisting Machinery Inspection Law

Building inspection on heavy machinery is an important link in the safe use of the equipment and is directly related to the safe use of equipment. But this link is the most ambiguous in the current building lifting equipment supervision. Whether it is "special equipment safety supervision regulations" or the order of the Ministry of Construction, prescribed inspection of heavy machinery to the construction site are not specific and lack operability. So it is necessary to standardize the inspection regulations and administrative status, inspection methods and management mode. Therefore, this paper discusses the measures to improve the problems and laws existing in our country's construction hoisting machinery inspection in order to promote the site construction hoisting machinery inspection for the development of industry.

LCA analysis as a tool to assess the impact of electricity production on the environment / Analiza LCA jako narzędzie służące do oceny wpływu produkcji energii elektrycznej na środowisko

The paper presents a method for Life Cycle Assessment LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) to evaluate the ecological characteristics of products, presents a procedure for the implementation of the LCA with an overview of the various stages. Moreover the validity of using this method to evaluate the energy sector. The article also points to the directions of the Polish energy sector and pointed to the need to determine the environmental risks associated with the production of energy. Energy industry in Poland, the structure of energy production requires special supervision. The use of coal and lignite as a primary fuel results in significant the environmental impact.

Managers should do more to support long-serving nurses under stress.

1363 – Patients and corticosteroids: effect on mood, quality of life and adherance to treatment

Objective The objective of this study is to investigate the quality of life of patients receiving oral corticosteroids, his impact on the occurance of depressed or hypomanic mood and on the adherence to corticosteroids. Materials and methods This descriptive study was held in the department of Internal Medicine, during 04 months (From July to October 2012). We included 50 patients, having corticosteroids with a dose equal or greater than 10 mg of prednisone per day for a period exceeding one month. We used, the HAD scale, the SF-36 to investigate the quality of life of these patients, the ANGST scale of hypomania and Morisky scale for the dherence to treatments. Results The average age was 43.43 + / -16.11 years. The age of discovery of the disease was 38.24 + / -14.28 years. An average score of anxiety was 10.6 + / -3.89. An average score of hypomania was 8.43 + / -4.025. We noted that 53.7% of patients belong to level 3 of anxiety, and 40.56% have some level depression by the HAD score. Psychiatric complications were noted in 58.5% of patient with a major depressive state in 12.2%. Patients reported sleep disturbances in 24% with behavioral problems in 9.6% of cases. The average score of SF36 was 56.55 + / -15.21, and 74% of patients had distorted quality of life, mainly affecting psychic health (92.54%). Conclusion Our results suggest the interest of a psychiatric examination before the introduction of corticosteroids, in order to detect patients requiring special supervision.

Contemporary Visions of Psychotherapy Supervision: Sharing Perspective, Identifying Need, and Charting Possibility

Psychotherapy supervision has now celebrated its first centennial, is poised to move boldly forward into its second century of contribution to psychotherapy education, and seems perfectly positioned to further advance our knowledge about and practice of how to effectively facilitate, influence, and mentor our supervisees. Professional interest in and recognition of psychotherapy supervision appears to be at an all time high, and its value as a potentially alchemical educational event seems increasingly incontrovertible. But if supervision is to maintain and even enhance its substance and significance in 21st century psychotherapy education, what are the matters to which we as supervision practitioners, researchers, and theorists must vigilantly attend and vigorously address? In this special supervision issue of the Journal of Contemporary Psychotherapy, we would like to examine some of those matters. The topics that are addressed include: competencies, evidence-based practice, and supervising psychoanalytic/psychodynamic, cognitive/behavioral, humanistic/existential, and integrative/eclectic psychotherapies. The binding theme of “pressing needs and impressing possibilities” will be evident throughout this journal issue. In this introductory paper, I briefly define psychotherapy supervision, consider its beginnings, provide a rationale for this special issue, and identify the specific questions that give focus and frame to each of the succeeding contributions.

Evaluation of Immunization Services in high-risk district in India

The study was aimed at evaluating immunization coverage against Tuberculosis, Poliomyelitis, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis and Measles. The data was taken from a sufficiently large study that adopted multi stage and systematic random sampling. The current paper aims at reporting the evaluated coverage in Bellary district and discusses addressing gaps in coverage of vaccine preventable diseases. We have reported in our earlier papers that parental recall was better than immunization card for reflecting immunization coverage, and improvement in immunization coverage was due to special immunization sessions (catch up sessions) and supportive supervision. In this paper, we present the estimates of vaccine coverage under national program. We also discuss the shortfalls responsible for drop in immunization coverage.

Is Racial Profiling Just? Making Criminal Justice Policy in the Original Position

The justice of racial profiling is addressed in the original position first for a society without racism, then for a society marked by racism. In the first case, the practice is argued to be just if carried out respectfully and expeditiously and likely to contribute to effective crime control. Thus it is not intrinsically racist. Addressing the second case, the idea that the harms of racial profiling are modest because expressive is critiqued. The practice is shown to carry the danger of producing rights-violations by increasing the incidence of racist attitudes and practices. It is argued to be just in a society marked by racism if done under special supervision, and only to aid in apprehending dangerous criminals.

Very early mortality in patients starting antiretroviral treatment at primary health centres in rural Malawi

To report on the cumulative proportion of deaths occurring within 3 months of starting antiretroviral treatment (ART) and to identify factors associated with such deaths, among adults at primary health centres in a rural district of Malawi. Retrospective cohort study: from June 2006 to April 2008, deaths occurring over a 3-month period were determined and risk factors examined. A total of 2316 adults (706 men and 1610 women; median age 35 years) were included in the analysis and followed up for a total of 1588 person-years (PY); 277 (12%) people died, of whom 206 (74%) people died within 3 months of initiating ART (cumulative incidence: 13.0; 95% confidence interval: 11.3-14.8 per 100 PY of follow-up). Significant risk factors associated with early deaths included male sex, WHO stage 4 disease, oesophageal or persistent oral candidiasis and unexplained presumed or measured weight loss >10%. One in every 3 patients who either died or was lost to follow up had unexplained weight loss >10%, and survival in this group was significantly different from patients without this condition. Seven in 10 individuals initiating ART at primary health centres die early. Specific groups of patients are at higher risk of such mortality and should receive priority attention, care and support.

Risk Assessment of Sexual Offenders for Extended Supervision Orders in New Zealand: Basic Principles and Current Practice

A growing number of jurisdictions in North America, the United Kingdom, and Australasia have enacted legislation allowing for special sentencing, civil commitment, and community supervision options for high risk sexual offenders. In New Zealand, one example of this concern for public protection is the Parole (Extended Supervision) Amendment Act 2004, which provides for additional supervision of sexual offenders with child victims for up to 10 years after their release from prison. Recent experience with expert evidence and judicial decision making in such cases suggests that those involved in the process might benefit from a more thorough understanding of the current state of sexual offender risk assessment that can be provided by mental health professionals.
