Академическая адаптация китайских аспирантов: проблемы коммуникативной компетентности

The relevance of the study is determined by new challenges in the field of organizing an effective multidimensional communicative process in which graduate students coming from the PRC to obtain a PhD diploma are immersed — this is the main result aimed at by foreign graduate students studying at a Russian university. To achieve the goal, a comprehensive study is conducted, including descriptive, associative methods, methods of synthesis and generalization, semantic and conceptual analysis. The conducted research shows that in the process of acquiring high-level communicative competence Chinese graduate students face a number of problems that cannot be solved without a special methodology adapted to the goals and objectives of graduate students. It seems promising to apply the solutions proposed by the author in educational practice to streamline the system of training and stages of academic adaptation of Chinese graduate students in Russian universities.

Theoretical Dimension of Modern Designers’ Conceptual Forms of Creativity

The aim of the article is to identify key characteristics of artistic and design practices interaction; to define directions of conceptual design development based on the results of analysing scientific and theoretical foundations of conceptualism as a special form of the artists’ creativity in the 20th century. Results. It is demonstrated that the focus of modern designers on conceptual forms of creativity is explained by the fact that they contribute to forming unique authors’ projects of aesthetic and value content, innovative searches in the context of cultural and civilisational shifts. A conceptual costume of the beginning of the 21st century is a kind of mediator between art practices of conceptual art and design practices in the sphere of project culture, synthesising social and psychological aspects of fashion, social and symbolic functions of clothing. A conceptual design narrativises philosophical, artistic and technological aspects of design, enriching design products with an expressive metaphoricity. It is revealed that in modern art history a clear definition of the term system of the conceptual direction in design has not been formed till now. The research of this complex phenomenon, synthesised by fashion and artistic clothing design, requires a complex interdisciplinary approach. The conceptual costume is studied as an art-design object from the standpoint of global and local tendencies in the society development, which declare certain worldview values in the form of a visual metaphor. Scientific novelty. For the first time, the theoretical understanding of the conceptual costume grounds on the interaction of design with culture and art as a special space of its direct functioning, which makes it possible to form project conceptualism as a special methodology. Conclusions. The authors’ concepts in the costume are extrapolated in different ways: as visual quotations or metaphors; as a transformation of the art object idea into the form of the costume. Actually, they need in-depth and detailed studying.

Determination of bioequivalence between generic and reference drugs using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy

BackgroundIn vitro bioequivalence studies are strictly limited to the comparison of dissolution performance to a reference drug. These studies are performed without considering the chemical similarity between the generic and reference drug formulations. This work has focused on developing a groundbreaking method based on the laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) technique for the in vitro bioequivalence determination of immediate-release solid oral dosage form generic drugs and as an alternative method for establishing the biowaiver of in vivo generic drug studies. ResultsThe novel LIBS-based methodology to determine in vitro bioequivalence is fast, easy to perform, and can be carried out without the requirement of tedious and complicated sample pre-treatment, nor expensive instrumentals and reagents, almost directly on the drug samples. Furthermore, the proposed methodology demonstrated that it is enough to identify the spectrochemical similarity of the formulation between generic drugs to a reference drug through the chemometric study of their LIBS spectra, based on the determination of the differentiation and similarity factors, f1 and f2, respectively, used in the pharmaceutical industry in this purpose. After analysing their LIBS spectra, the generic drugs selected for this work have all been shown to be in vitro bioequivalent, given their f1 values of less than 15 and f2 values greater than 50, according to the technical regulations on which the American and European medicines agencies are based for the approval of registration for generic immediate-release solid oral dosage form drugs. This has been evidenced even for drugs from Class III and Class IV of the biopharmaceutical classification system, whose active principle nominal concentration is very low as 0.1 and 0.25 mg/tablet, respectively. Significancefor the first time the LIBS technique has been successfully used in an advanced application for the pharmaceutical industry. The proposed method constitutes a reliable and specialized methodology for the establishment of formulation similarity between two drugs, without the requirement of separate identification of each of their components, which is a new and potential tool to determine the in vitro bioequivalence for generic immediate-release solid oral dosage form drugs.

Project approach: the essence and features of application in public administration

Introduction. The application of the project approach in the field of public administration is a fairly effective means of improving the main economic indicators of not only state but also regional development. Projects implemented by public authorities are important in the process of development of the national economic system and act as a fairly effective management tool. Implementation of projects activates the target orientation of the public management system; provides an absolute and permanent solution to various problems in the field of economy, ecology, social security, etc.; achieving the defined goal of social development in the country. Purpose of the research. Disclosure of the essence and features of the application of the project approach in the field of public administration. Research metods. In the process of writing this article, the following methods were used: analysis and synthesis, generalization method, comparative method and systematization method, system analysis method, logical and dialectical method. Results. The essence of the project approach in the field of public administration, which acts as a rather effective means of improving the main economic indicators of not only state, but also regional development, is revealed. The essence of the concept of «project» has been defined and it has been clarified that the project is a certain document that provides, through the use of special tools and methodology, the description, argumentation and detailing of certain activities in relation to the achievement of a predetermined and long-awaited goal together with a clearly defined resource base with a specific time frame . The essence of the concept of «project management» was revealed and it was established that «project management» is a short-term managerial and professional activity associated with planning, organization, stimulation and control over the appropriate use of all types of resource provision due to the application of a complex of special methodologies and tools in the process achievement of pre-defined goals within the defined project implementation period. The main features of the project approach in the field of public administration are given. Perspectives. Prospects for further research consist in substantiating the expediency of analyzing the effectiveness of implementing a project approach in managing the activities of local self-government bodies and territorial communities.

Результаты целевого трудоустройства медицинских работников в городах и сельской местности.

Targeted training of future medical workers and their guaranteed employment is one of the state measures to address the issue of the shortage of specialists. The key mission of targeted training is the balanced regulation by the organization of training and employment. Currently, there are not enough scientific studies on the results and effectiveness of this measure in the health care system, but many researchers emphasize the problems of targeted employment of medical workers. According to the studies of a number of authors, the imperfection of normative legal regulation of issues of targeted training allows graduates not to fulfill the obligations of employment in medical organizations upon graduation [3–9]. The purpose of the study. Conduct an analysis of indicators reflecting the specifics of targeted employment of health workers in organizations located in urban and rural areas in 2022 and 2023. Materials and methods. The study used statistical data for 85 constituent entities of the Russian Federation on the basis of an operative documented request to the health protection authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, containing information on the number of employed doctors and nursing staff within the framework of targeted training, as well as the planned values of targeted employment in accordance with the concluded contracts. The study period is 2022 and 2023. The total data on targeted employment of medical workers after completion of the specialty program and completion of residency in the context of the names of positions of doctors and nursing staff were analyzed. Analytical and descriptive statistics methods were used in the research process. Results. The share of doctors and nursing staff employed after completion of targeted training from the total number of medical workers in organizations located in rural areas is higher than the share of those recruited to work in urban medical organizations. On average, 1.3% of doctors and 0.21% of nursing staff are annually recruited to urban medical organizations as part of targeted employment out of the total number of the respective key medical personnel as of the end of the reporting year. In rural areas, these figures are 2.6% and 0.30%, respectively. Specialists are predominantly employed in urban medical organizations, while in rural areas – district doctors. The study revealed that in 2023 there were 128.1 target recruitments per 10,000 doctors in urban areas in a given year, and in 2022–124.8, i. e. the intensity of employment by target recruitment in urban areas increased by 2.6% in two years. In rural areas, there were 260.2 target recruitment admissions per 10,000 physicians in 2023 and 262.8 in 2022, that is, the intensity of target recruitment employment of physicians in rural areas decreased by 1% in two years. When analyzing the indicator comparatively, it is noted that in rural areas it is almost twice as high as in urban areas. Conclusions. Targeted employment of medical workers is an effective and efficient measure to attract medical personnel to organizations experiencing a shortage of them. The analysis has shown that the intensity rate of targeted employment per 10,000 physicians in urban areas of the country is lower than in rural areas, which amounted to 128.1 and 260.2, respectively. According to the results of the last two years, 60% of the doctors planned for targeted employment fulfilled their obligations, including 50% in rural areas. The main reason for the current level of employment is the failure to meet the planned indicators of targeted admission to training due to the violation of obligations by students and graduates, which requires the development of a special methodology for assessing the reasonable formation of the plan for targeted recruitment to educational organizations in the context of each medical organization. When comparing the number of vacant positions of doctors and the number of employed graduates within the framework of targeted recruitment, a significant range of the indicator among the subjects of the Russian Federation was revealed, which is presented in the interval from 1 to 29% (9.0±15.95). In this regard, it can be assumed that the number of persons employed under targeted recruitment does not depend on the additional demand for doctors and does not cover the existing deficit.

SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL RESOURCES OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS (DIAGNOSTIC CONTEXT IN BULGARIA AND RUSSIA)

Background. The paper describes ways of diagnosing social and psychological resources of children with special needs. The authors propose to study the diagnostic capabilities of socialization of children with special needs as a unique integrative tool in the work of specialists getting in touch with children with special needs (inclusive education, special education). Two aspects of diagnostics of socialization of preschool children with special needs in Bulgaria and Russia who are provided with inclusive education according to official procedures are considered. The research hypothesis is the assumption of inclusion of multiple characteristics of socialization of preschool children, which can serve as resources for successful social adaptation of children with special needs. The purpose of the study is to structure the review based on the grouping of parameters related to the characteristics of adaptive socialization resources in the context of meeting special needs. Methodology. The study was carried out in accordance with the theoretical and methodological principles of psychology and pedagogy and the special methodology of psychological science (the principle of personal approach), the following methods were used (analysis; synthesis; abstraction and specification; comparison and generalization; method of induction and deduction, method of analogies; modeling). The results are based on introductory studies of official recommendations for research on socialization of children with special needs in earlier studies conducted in both countries. It is shown that most of the target socialization scales are the same and are reflected in the predictive research procedure. In addition, it has been proven that in Bulgaria the scales are more substantive about the child's conditions and developmental situation, while in Russia they refer to the child's personal and socio-psychological indicators. In Bulgaria, there is no tendency to emphasize the functions of socialization areas, while in Russia, a number of diagnostic tests emphasize the socialization areas of the preschool child with special needs. Practical implications. This Russian peculiarity allows us to refer to the method of prediction level measurement as an integral and unique tool which includes socialization parameters through refraction of personal characteristics of a child with special needs in various spheres of his/her relations (parents, adults, peers) and ways of organization of activity (organized and free), i.e. conditions of social development. In conclusion, in both countries it is necessary to redirect diagnostic methods to more integrative methods of work. In Bulgaria, more attention needs to be paid to comprehensiveness, and in Russia, the specificity of developmental disorders must be monitored.

USING PROJECT WORK IN TEACHING ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES FOR ENERGY SECTOR

This paper aims to investigate the efficacy of project-based learning in teaching English for specific purposes, particularly in technical universities within the energy sector. A number of methods helped to achieve this task. They include establishing the practical value of ESP for the energy sector and designing special methodology and training forms according to the tasks of the discipline. Our approach focuses on developing language skills by applying speaking abilities in practice in real-life situations that can facilitate learning English in a professional context. In this article, we examine two crucial components of project work: role-play and case study. These activities facilitate collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. Such kinds of projects help students expand their vocabulary and reinforce its usage in spoken English. Furthermore, presenting their findings and conclusions before their peers and teachers enhances their public speaking and presentation abilities. This paper advocates the use of project-based learning as a powerful tool for creating an immersive and meaningful language-learning experience. It showcases practical scenarios that students can simulate to enhance their learning experience. It also delves into the essential guidelines to ensure the success of this immersive teaching approach. In this paper, we provide a specific case study tailored for students in the energy sector, namely wind power integration in Ukraine. We detail the key stages of the implementation, the aims, and the critical highlights of this methodology. In the initial phase, the instructor should familiarize the students with new vocabulary and terminologies that are relevant to the renewable energy domain. It is recommended that students use industry-specific language in their discussions to augment their comprehension of the domain. This approach will help them build a solid foundation of the terminologies and lingo that are commonly employed in the renewable energy sector. The assignment objective is to provide a detailed and comprehensive overview of wind power as a renewable energy source in Ukraine, its prospects, and its feasibility. To accomplish this task, students must explore the intricacies of the project’s technological challenges, as well as its economic impact and public perception. Furthermore, students must analyse communication strategies that have been utilized to influence public opinion, while considering the potential environmental impacts and anticipating sustainability project outcomes. For students to excel in this assignment, they must conduct thorough research and thoughtfully organize their findings. They must also evaluate all options, consider potential solutions, and justify their choices. Finally, students will be required to present their findings to the class in a polished and engaging manner. The presentation is expected to finish with group discussions. Following presentations and group discussions, students are encouraged to provide constructive feedback to their peers. This activity not only enhances their speaking skills but also promotes active listening and develops communication skills. In conclusion, to augment project work, elements such as role-play and case study methods can be integrated into ESP learning. Conclusions. This approach provides students in the energy sector with valuable insights into the challenges and dynamics of their industry while simultaneously enhancing their speaking skills. Teachers can supplement project work with multimedia resources such as videos, interviews, or documentaries related to the energy sector, which can add variety to the learning process and expose students to different accents and communication styles.

Three warehouse inventory model for non-instantaneous deteriorating items with quadratic demand, time-varying holding costs and backlogging over finite time horizon

This paper presents a novel sustainable inventory model tailored for non-instantaneous deteriorating items, incorporating quadratic demand and time-dependent holding costs. Notably, the model accounts for shortages over a finite time horizon, simulating real-world scenarios. The inventory management the strategy involves distributing products across three warehouses: the Own Warehouse (OW) and two Rental Warehouses (RW), with applications spanning supermarkets, bakeries, malls, and floral businesses. The primary objective is minimizing total costs to enhance consumer satisfaction and bolster profits. The theoretical framework is substantiated through numerical examples, focusing on the critical finding regarding optimal total cost. A special methodology is employed to balance inventory dynamics amidst various warehouses, optimizing resource allocation and mitigating shortages. Furthermore, a comprehensive sensitivity analysis using MATLAB Software unveils the repercussions of parameter modifications, providing valuable insights for decision-makers in diverse industrial settings.

PREPARING STUDENT TEACHERS TO TEACH: A TECHNOLOGY-ENHANCED, REFLECTIVE, AND COLLABORATIVE MODEL

In language teacher education programs, to train learners to become effective and qualified teachers, theories of learning and teaching are taught. In the methodology courses, learners experience teaching to their peers as a link between theory and practice. To improve teaching experiences, the current study focuses on a special methodology course, Teaching English to Young Learners, by implementing technology, reflective feedback, and collaborative learning, and it presents a model that is grounded within the social constructivist theory. Sixty-two learners participated in the study. Two groups were randomly assigned to the Technology Enhanced Group and Control Group to investigate the effectiveness of the technology-enhanced, reflective, and collaborative model; and to explore the learners’ perceptions. The qualitative data was analyzed using feedback, reflections, and learner interviews. The technology-enhanced, reflective, and collaborative model of teaching how to teach to young learners proved to be effective. Participants noticed the pedagogical aspects of the teaching model presented to them and their perceptions were positive. It is concluded that it is crucial to search for ways to help learners learn the theory and prepare future teachers for their actual classroom experience in language teacher education programs.<p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu/0108/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>

Development of artistic and imaginative thinking of the future choreography teacher in the process of professional training

ABSTRACT The relevance of the subject matter is conditioned by the fact that an important task of professional training of future specialists in the field of choreography is the development of artistic and imaginative thinking. The purpose of the study is to consider the structural components of artistic and imaginative thinking and analyse the features of the development of artistic and imaginative thinking of future choreography teachers in the process of professional training. The basis of the methodological approach in this research work is a qualitative combination of theoretical research methods, in particular analysis, synthesis, interpretation, generalisation and abstraction used to determine theoretical approaches to explaining the concept of artistic and imaginative thinking and its structural components. The results that were obtained in the framework of this study are the substantiation of various approaches to the definition of the concept of artistic and imaginative thinking, the structural components of imaginative thinking, identification of features of its development during the professional training of future choreography teachers, and the development of a special methodology aimed at the development of artistic and imaginative thinking.

ФОРМИРОВАНИЕ И СТРУКТУРА ПОРТОВОГО КЛАСТЕРА НИНБО ЧЖОУШАНЬ

The study is devoted to assessing the quality of Russian Federation subjects’ policies in thefield of creative industries. For this purpose, the special methodology and information base were developed, according to which for each region the Index of Creative policies Quality (ICQ) was calculated. The regions were ranked according to the ICQ and the results of the ranking were interpreted. In accordance with the ICQ, characteristics of legal and organizational support, the representation of creative industries in regional socio-economic development strategies, the availability of region-level support and the regions’ participation in the federal support measures, all Russian regions were divided into 4 groups. The top-10 regions included Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Tyumen, Vologda and Ulyanovsk regions. The leading regions are distinguished by the systematic approach to setting strategic priorities in the field of creativeindustries, the diversified organizational infrastructure and initiative in launching regional support measures. There is a connection between urbanization, economic prosperity and the quality of policies in the field of creative industries. The study showed that the policies in the field of creative industries significantly vary by the frequency of occurrence in regions. Thus,the participation in the federal agenda is more common than the developing the region-level measures, and setting goals and objectives aimed at developing creative industries in regional socio-economic development strategies is more common than the creating the specialized strategies.

Isolationism as the United States’ Grand Strategy: From the Founding Fathers to Donald Trump

The article explores the characteristic features and controversies of the grand strategy of the 45th president of the United States in the context of the evolution of the US isolationism as one of the main historical strands in the US foreign policy thought. In order to provide a more nuanced approach than the classical isolationism-internationalism dichotomy the author turns to the four schools theory of American historian W. R. Mead. Within the theory framework, the two isolationist schools, i.e., Jeffersonianism and Jacksonianism, are studied in detail. As a special methodology, the author applies neoclassical realism, which allows to determine the impact of domestic factors on the controversial nature of Trumps’ grand strategy. Isolationist ideas are studied on the example of the interwar period when the public debate about the course of the US foreign policy reached its peak. The next section analyzes D. Trump's grand strategy using the theory of W. R. Mead and neoclassical realism methodology. Despite the fact that Trump’s ideology combined Jeffersonian and Jacksonian components, in practice the 45th President gravitated more towards Jacksonian hawks than to the minimalist realism of the Jeffersonian school. The differences from the Jeffersonian school were especially evident in the spheres of defense and security policy. Finally, the resistance of the foreign policy apparatus, opposition of the Congress and the subjective inconsistency of Trump explain the failures in the implementation of Trump’s grand strategy. The author draws the conclusion about the coexistence of the two parallel grand strategies during Trump’s presidency: isolationism and interventionism.

The knowledge acquired by Mankind does not represent a single whole. Contradictions between religious and philosophical teachings and scientific theories exacerbate the already tense relations that, as a rule, develop between peoples, states and powerful organizations. The elimination of these contradictions is not a sufficient, but a necessary condition for building a just society on Earth, which will include all the peoples of the Earth. This task is very relevant for all progressive Mankind, has great practical significance. The purpose of the article is to contribute to the elimination of these contradictions. For thousands of years, the great minds of Mankind have strived to unite various parts of disparate knowledge. But Humanity is capable of building a Unified Knowledge – a system of knowledge composed of harmoniously connected true elements of religious and philosophical teachings and scientific theories created by all the peoples of the world throughout the history of Humanity. It should include the greatest religious ideas, the theory of knowledge, ontology, logic, fundamental ideas of physics, astronomy, chemistry, biology, geology and other similar important areas of knowledge. A special methodology is needed to build a Unified Knowledge. One of the options for such a methodology may be symphonics, the foundations of which were proposed by Daniil Valentinovich Pivovarov and his student, the author of this article. According to the author, in order to build a Unified Knowledge, one should strive to unite Christian and pagan teachings, mystical ideas about the structure of the World and classical ontology, ideas about the structure of matter in etherodynamics and ideas about particles of matter as living beings, achievements of modern astronomy and ancient astrology, achievements of modern chemistry and ancient alchemy, ideas about the evolution of the organic world and the Spiritual Hierarchy and other seemingly incompatible areas of knowledge. The main result of the article is the desire to unite the listed branches of knowledge into a single harmonious whole, which represents the scientific novelty of the study. The author of the article believes that in the future, a Unified Knowledge will be formed. This process will be very long. Many thousands of people will take part in such a grandiose work. But an individual is able to form in his consciousness a small part of the grandiose Unified Knowledge, its image. The author of the article offers such an image formed in his consciousness.

Alloplasty for complex abdominal hernias in patients with an increased risk of wound infection

Aim: Improvement the effectiveness of the use of alloplasty of complex abdominal hernias in patients with an increased risk of developing wound infection by substantiating a wider introduction of primary alloplasty and reducing the number of postoperative complications. Material and methods: A retrospective clinical analysis of the results of surgical treatment of 252 patients with complex abdominal hernias, who were operated on by the open method for the period 2010-2020, was carried out. Infringement was occurred in 146 (57.9%) patients, eventration - in 3 (1.2%) patients, stoma - in 3 (1.2%), fistulas - in 9 (3.6%). Obesity was diagnosed in 159 (63.0%) patients, diabetes mellitus - in 27 (10.7%) patients, and steroid use - in 13 (5.2%) patients. In 223 (88.5%) patients, concomitant pathology was found that required combined surgical treatment. Results: In the early postoperative period, early complications were observed in 21 (8.3%) cases: seroma - in 9 (3.6%) patients, inflammatory infiltrate - in 6 (2.4%), hematoma - in 3 (1.2%), necrosis of the wound edges - in 2 (0.8%), wound suppuration - in 1 (0.4%). Conclusions: The using of primary alloplasty of complex abdominal hernias in patients with an increased risk of developing wound infection by a special methodology can increase its effectiveness, improve treatment results and reduce the number of complications.

Selection of machine tool equipment when implementing modular technology

This article is about choosing the right machine tool equipment when you're introducing modular technology into engineering production. The objective was to analyze possible solutions and choose the optimal option. We will consider two variants: the first is the creation of new machine tools for the production of surface modules, and the second is the use of existing machine tools. The second option should be studied with traditional machine tools because it is associated with lower time and labor costs. Twenty machine tools of different types, commonly found in machine-building plants, were selected as the object of research. We used a special methodology to identify the technology of the machine tools. The work resulted in the determination of the nomenclature of surface modules produced for each machine tool. This proves that traditional machine tools are suitable for use in modular technology. The distribution of the number of types of surface modules by groups of machine tools clearly shows that all twenty-six types of surface modules can be produced on universal machine tools with program control, including 5-axis milling machines and lathe machining centers.

Improved determination of fast neutron fluence onto the WWER pressure vessel metal surveillance specimens

The special methodology for the determination of the neutron fluences onto the surveillance specimens of the WWER-1000 reactor pressure vessel metal has developed by INR NASU specialists and is successfully applied. The methodology is based on the Monte-Carlo code that is used for neutron transport calculations to the locations of the surveillance specimens. The methodology improvement is described. The fundamentals of the technique of the calculation-experimental determination of the fast neutron fluences onto surveillance specimens and their errors are presented. It is shown a dosimetry experiment in a particular reactor is needed to obtain experimental data about irradiation conditions in the locations of the surveillance specimens.

Forensic Road Technical Examination: State and Changes in Accordance with New Tasks of Expert Support of Justice

The purpose of this article is to establish a scientific foundation for the significance of studying the formation and expansion of the subject matter in expert road technical research. This is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of specific expertise utilization in investigating criminal offenses related to the construction and repair of roads. Additionally, it focuses on determining damages resulting from the destruction of road infrastructure due to hostilities and other negative factors affecting the state of road infrastructure. The methodological basis of the study is grounded in the principles of the theory of cognition, enabling an exploration of the essence of the subject matter of road technical research. It involves the identification of factual data and circumstances related to criminal proceedings (formulating the concept of the subject matter of road technical examination depending on the tasks to be addressed) and the determination of objects, subjects, and research methods. A set of methods of scientific cognition is applied, including general scientific, individual, and special methodologies. The author outlines and scientifically substantiates the directions for forming the subject areas of forensic road technical examination. Based on the analysis of statistical data from expert practice, the author demonstrates an increase in both the number and complexity of road technical examinations performed. The genesis of changes in the boundaries of the subject matter of forensic road and technical research is clarified. Attention is focused on the close connection of the subject of forensic research with the tasks to be solved in connection with qualitative changes in crime and the challenges of war. The author proves the need for the development and implementation of the latest forensic research methods for use by an authorized person in the investigation of criminal offenses in the field of road infrastructure. The factors influencing the results of expert research are outlined. The author formulates proposals aimed at the more efficient use of specific expertise to ensure the detection and investigation of crimes, as well as to improve the results of the work of forensic experts. This is discussed in the context of developing a scientific and methodological framework for enhancing the primary form of application of specific expertise - forensic examination.

Evaluation and Improvement of QoE and QoS Parameters in Commercial 5G Networks: 5G-TOURS Approach

Cellular communication systems have become an urgent part not only of our everyday life, but also play a big role in the process of building a fundamentally new intelligent concept of the digital world. We are currently in the development phase of 5G cellular networks on the way to their transformation to 6G. 5G has become a truly revolutionary technology, able to use all available advantages, technologies and create the digital world of the future. Therefore, 5GPPP within the framework of the Horizon 2020 program was granted funding for a large number of research projects, the purpose of which was to test the proposed innovative solutions, to combine efforts with cellular operators, vendors, etc., in order to test the real capabilities of 5G and demonstrate all the advantages to vertical industries. One of these flagship projects was 5G-TOURS. The 5G-TOURS project was aimed at improving mobility systems in the city, the e-Health industry and the tourism sector. Thus, within the framework of 5G-TOURS project was developed the special methodology for assessment of QoE and QoS and mapping between these parameters. To apply developed evaluation methodology for all the use cases of the project is very difficult, as it needs a lot of additional efforts by the partners, additional testing tools, testing procedures, etc. That is why it was decided to apply the developed approach only to one use cases in which it was possible to collect all the required data. Thus, UC 4 “High quality video service distribution” was under study to ensure the applicability of the developed approach. All the experiments were conducted in Turin, wherein a movable car, specially equipped, collected QoE and QoS data for further analysis. Thus, the methodological approach was confirmed by the results of the conducted experiments. And in the future, similar models can be developed to study the correlations of service quality parameters and user experience for any developed use cases.

On the Purpose and Structure of Basic Metho­dology for Investigating Crimes Related to the Activities of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons

The article discusses key questions of the formation of a basic forensic methodology for investigating crimes involving foreign citizens and stateless persons — determining its goal, tasks and structural elements. The author analyzes various viewpoints regarding the system of special forensic techniques and presents her own opinion on this issue. It is determined that the basic level is the second one, it uses the general crime investigation method and presents a scientific-methodological foundation for the formation of special methodologies for investigating different crimes. The author formulates the criminalistic category “crimes connected with the activities of foreign citizens”, which makes it possible to present a definition of the basic methodology for investigating crimes connected with the activities of foreign citizens and stateless persons with the goal of creating effective opportunities for identifying, investigating, solving and preventing crimes connected with the activities of foreign citizens by developing general criminalistic means and methods of collecting, researching, evaluating and using forensically relevant information on a criminal case. The author determines the goals and key structural elements of the methodology that influence its contents.

Linguistic aspects of law: problems and prospects

The article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of the scientific work on the problems of linguistic features of the legal language arising at the intersection of language and law. The current problems arising from the above interaction in the state, socio-legal, professional and private spheres have been described, the issues of debate have been outlined and the need for a comprehensive approach to their further study has been substantiated. The purpose of the article is to summarise the scientific investigations carried out in the “language and law” coordinate system and to identify specific linguistic problems related to the legal language and the ways of their solution. Nowadays, modern legal linguistics has faced an acute issue of developing a special methodology which should take into account both natural language, legal linguistic and legal aspects. The article uses the method of analysis of theoretical sources relevant to the research topic, which involves the collection and extraction of scientific information belonging to the group of empirical methods of scientific knowledge, as well as processing and analysis of the data obtained, which belongs to the methods of theoretical knowledge. On the basis of a systematic analysis, the linguistic and legal research on the problem has been reviewed; the main vectors of domestic and foreign jurisprudence development with a projection on the linguistics of law have been identified; the issues of streamlining legal terminology, searching for interlingual equivalents and creating dictionaries of legal terms have been considered; the problems of combining theoretical and applied methods for qualitative linguistic examination of legal texts have been characterised; the positive and negative consequences of semantic and textual linguistic examinations of legal texts have been studied. The article discusses the debatable approaches to semantic and textual examination of legal texts, its positive and negative consequences, and substantiates the need to expand the subject area in order to create a single modern research space in the coordinate system “language and law”.
