Design Process of a Memorial Square to Thank and Respect for Healthcare Workers after Covid-19 Pandemic

Open and green spaces are essential elements of cities. With the COVID epidemic, the importance of the need for open and green spaces in urban areas has become more understood. The aim of this study is to create a new and contemporary square in the working area where the current use and traffic create chaos, to add a new square to the open and green areas in Ankara (Turkey) and to create a connection between this area and the existing open and green areas. At the same time, health workers are honoured through a memorial area integrated into the square. The importance of the location chosen as the study area is that it is surrounded by many public health facilities and is a point of intersection of Ankara's existing open green space systems. Throughout the three-stage design process, brainstorming sessions were held, drawings and sketches were made, and urban analyses were carried out on transport, culture, art, education, health, open and green spaces. Solutions were proposed for both indoor and outdoor spaces, and the forms were transformed into functional design elements and reflected in the space. As a result, after the pandemic, a city square has been created where people can socialise again, with a monument, a square, water surfaces, an amphitheatre, viewing terraces, a market area, a bridge, sitting and walking areas that are appropriate to the capital.

The aim of the research is a comprehensive study of the personality of the public figure, author of “The Tatar and Arabic Alphabet Primer” Niyat Baky Atnometev. The novelty is determined by the insufficient study of the personality of this outstanding figure of the late 18th – first half of the 19th century, who made a significant contribution to the education and culture of the Tatar and Russian population of Western Siberia, as well as the need to introduce new materials on the topic into scientific use. Based on materials from the State Archive in Tobolsk, we have identified new and supplemented existing biographical information about N. Atnometev, his family, and established his date of death. Special attention is paid to the consideration of N. Atnometev’s main work, “The Tatar and Arabic Alphabet Primer”, its place in the historical and cultural space of Siberia. It has been revealed that N. Atnometev’s primer was one of the first publications of this kind in the Russian Empire.

Problem-oriented stimulus of teaching foreign-language listening in a secondary school. Part 2

The problem for the research. Listening skills are important for a modern person in many areas of life: at work, at home, travelling the world, etc., when immersed in the social space of culture in the fullness of its spiritual meanings. However, in school teaching of foreign languages, there is a contradiction between the large reserve listening capabilities in achieving students’ personal, metasubject and subject educational results in a foreign language and the established practice of teaching this type of foreign-language speech activity, where there are many difficulties associated with students’ perception and understanding of foreign-language information by ear. Methods of investigation. 50 ninth-graders of secondary school named after S. S. Rakitina in Murashi, Kirov Region (Russian Federation) took part in pilot testing. To obtain personal learning results, the “Methodology for studying the motivation of teaching older adolescents” was used; metasubject – L. F. Tikhomirova’s “Exclude the word” method; subject (in the field of foreign-language listening) – the method for calculating the success rate of V. P. Bespalko and A. N. Shamov. The results were processed using the G–criterion of signs. The findings of the study. The final control revealed an increase in the level of proficiency in personal learning outcomes in 40 % of ninth-graders; metasubject – in 45 %; subject – in 61 %. The reliability of the presented results is confirmed by the use of mathematical statistics methods for personal, metasubject and subject results. The results of calculating the criterion of G-signs in the experimental group: G_(emp.)is above ≤ G_(cr.): 0 ≤ 3 for personal, 0 ≤ 5 for metasubject and subject results (p < 0.05). Conclusion. The purpose of the study is achieved: the article describes the characteristics and proves the effectiveness of using the problem-oriented stimulus in the process of teaching foreign-language listening in a secondary school (based on materials from the senior stage in secondary school). The theoretical foundation and testing of a set of exercises for teaching students foreign-language listening using the components of the problem-oriented stimulus led us to the conclusion that the presented exercises contribute to the formation of personal and metasubject universal educational actions of students, increases the level of their proficiency in the oral receptive type of foreign-language speech activity.

Digging for Literature on Tailoring Cultural Offers With and for Older People From Ethnic Minority Groups: A Scoping Review.

Social prescribing addresses non-medical issues (e.g., loneliness, financial worries, housing problems) affecting physical and/or mental health. It involves connecting people to external support or services, including 'cultural offers'-events, groups and activities run within or by cultural organisations. Such offers need to be acceptable and accessible to diverse populations if forming part of a social prescription. A scoping review was conducted to identify what existing literature, conducted in the United Kingdom, tells us about tailoring cultural offers for older people (aged 60+ years) from ethnic minority groups. Relevant literature was searched for on electronic databases, through Google, via a questionnaire to cultural organisations and by contacting the study's advisory group. Screening of 906 references-59 of which were read as full documents-resulted in six sources being included in the review. Some cultural activities described within them were run in traditional cultural spaces (e.g., museums, art galleries). Others were held in community centres. Data suggested that attending with others could reduce concerns about belonging. Barriers to engagement included low energy, language, poor confidence, accessing transport and unfamiliarity with a setting and/or activities. Provision of familiar food could help make people feel welcomed. Reviewed papers showed that consulting with target groups is important to ensure that activities are inclusive and sympathetically delivered. The review also highlighted a paucity of published research on the topic; this means that cultural providers have little evidence to draw on when developing cultural offers for older people from ethnic minority groups.

Go Back!: Reclaiming Indigenous Visibility in Literary, Cultural, and Environmental Spaces of Pakistan

This paper examines the nexus of visibility and violence in the context of indigenous communities of Pakistan, with a focus on the literary works of Mustansar Hussein Tarar. Through a critical analysis of Tarar’s texts, this study reveals how his narratives subvert the dominant autochthonous discourses (surrounding the sociocultural and geophysical spaces of the Indus Valley), reclaim visibility for the indigenous communities, and thus enable their survival. The intersection of literature, culture, and environment has already been explored by many scholars (De Loughery 2015; Mukherjee 2010; Nixon 2011; Huggan 2004), with some discussions also incorporating the perspectives of indigenous peoples (Dove 2006). By drawing upon the nexus of visibility and violence in the context of environmental spaces discussed by Rob Nixon (2011), this research demonstrates how Tarar’s works challenge representational bias against the visibility of indigenous communities and shows slow violence inflicted upon them, thereby mitigating the detrimental effects of centuries of marginalization. To illustrate this argument, I have chosen two novels by Mustansar Hussain Tarar, Sorrows of Sarasvati originally published as Bahao, and Love in the Shade of Death originally published as Qurbat e Marg Mein Muhabbat. Through these works, Tarar traverses both temporally (from the Indus Valley civilization to the present time) and spatially (from Sarasvati to Sindhu), thereby reprobating the current debates of belonging, reimagining the past and present of the Indus Valley through an indigenous lens, and reclaiming visibility for indigenous people within literary, cultural, and environmental spaces in Pakistan. This study contributes to the ongoing eco-critical debates by highlighting the significance of indigenous literary narratives in imagining alternative spatialities.

The Death of the Youngest Lamafa: Love and the Struggle for Survival of Whale Hunters in Lamalera

This research aims to understand the sea as a cultural space within the context of the Lamalera fishing community on Lembata Island, Indonesia. The Lamalera community is a fishing community with the privilege of catching whales, dolphins, and manta rays – species that are protected. The human relationship with the marine environment is a complex model, encompassing various aspects such as culture, economy, social, political, and spiritual dimensions. This study reveals cultural practices that have developed around the sea, including myths, customs, fishing traditions, maritime trade, and the utilization of marine resources. Furthermore, this research also identifies the role of the sea in shaping the cultural identity of the Lamalera community, including livelihoods, beliefs, and unique cultural practices. Through an interdisciplinary approach involving history, anthropology, sociology, and cultural studies, this research complements previous studies on the sea as a cultural space. The results of this research show that the Lamalera community has a close and unique relationship with the sea through whale hunting practices and other fishing activities. Their highly intensive interaction with the sea as their sole source of livelihood forms the identity of the Lamalera community as a traditional whale hunting fishing community (aboriginal subsistence whaling).

Cultural space of Russia

With the author’s permission, Project Baikal publishes excerpts from Andrey Bokov’s forthcoming book on Russian cultural space. The article provides a comparative analysis of Russian cultural space in comparison with European and Eastern cultural spaces; transformations started by Peter the Great and actively continued under Catherine the Great; subsequent stages, including the Soviet practice of spatial construction and the latest transformations.

Logoworld of Oleksandr Dovzhenko in the Ukrainian Audiovisual Space

The article is an attempt to understand the logoworld of Oleksandr Petrovych Dovzhenko. A lot has been written about him. And this is not surprising, because O. Dovzhenko is an iconic figure of the Ukrainian cultural space, known far beyond the borders of our country, a world-recognized film director and writer. This year the 130th anniversary of his birth will be celebrated on September, the 10th. Any thinking person, over time begins to address eternal questions. Oleksandr Dovzhenko undoubtedly had these questions. Moreover, in fact, all of his multifaceted heritage, his logoworld, as a concentration in the mind of abstract concepts of the spiritual sphere, are permeated precisely by these eternal questions. It is considered in the study how in the legendary and praised by many Earth O. Dovzhenko asks himself and the viewer a question to which everyone must answer independently... Our future worldview, activity and, ultimately, life in general will depend on what answer we give. Attention is focused in the article on the attitude of Oleksandr Petrovych to people, to the environment, to life in general, which we can learn from the autobiographical story Enchanted Desna, written much later (1956), when Dovzhenko was abroad and dreamed of returning to his native Ukraine, to the village dear to his heart in the Chernihiv region where his childhood years were spent, where he had such a knowledge of eternal values, which has been transfered on paper later as a hymn to his native Chernihiv region and simple peasants, working people, bearers of traditional values, who respect and cherish their native culture and glorious history. Oleksandr Dovzhenko has Cossack roots, not enslaved, free. He was a soldier in the Army of the Ukrainian People’s Republic, and later an active member of the creative center of the Odesa Film Factory; he has been aimed at the formation of his own creative, progressive and free-thinking association without correlation with the visions of the central government, which preferred to destroy any manifestations and hints of national identity and independence. O. Dovzhenko has been and remains one of the brightest representatives of Ukrainianhood not only of the time period when he lived and worked, but his work continues to influence future generations of talented artists. Ukrainian identity, this Ukrainian seed, which, despite the suffering, the director-thinker has carried with his creativity, his philosophical messages, the subtext of his works, the deep meanings and questions relevant for a thinking person, his value orientations, which the master transmitted to future generations, all this is not in vain... The cornfield of the future free and independent Ukraine, which has become a spiritual example of indomitability, love of freedom and spiritual greatness for the whole world has grown.

“A capacious hermeneutics” of The World That Belongs to Us: Akhil Katyal and Aditi Angiras in conversation

ABSTRACT In this interview, poet practitioners and scholars Akhil Katyal and Aditi Angiras, traverse the intersections of queer identities, poetry/literature, digital spaces, and activism. Katyal and Angiras revisit/rethink the complexities of queer progress, emphasising a ‘capacious hermeneutics’ and deconstructing monolithic narratives that centres on same-sex marriage or assimilation into heteronormative structures. They reflect on the fluidity of queer identities, highlighting the evolving relationship individuals have with the names/labels they choose for themselves. The interview further explores the disparity in queer representation within academic versus popular culture, with a focus on the underrepresentation of queer women and trans men in media/television/popular culture, in contrast to their prominence in academia. Katyal and Angiras accentuate the transformative potential of digital platforms, examining how they both amplify queer voices and expose individuals to heightened vulnerability, ‘accelerated versions of reality’, and trolling. The poets emphasise the need to embrace heterotopias, diverse, coexisting spaces of queer expressions and activism, while acknowledging the ongoing struggles for trans/queer safety, homelessness, and marginalised communities within the larger queer movement. As well, the conversation informs the ongoing evolution of queer narratives both in literature, poetry, and broader cultural spaces, advocating for inclusivity, intersectionality, and a departure from monolithic understandings of queer progress.

КУЛЬТУРНО-МИСТЕЦЬКИЙ ПРОСТІР ВІННИЧЧИНИ: НОВІ ФОРМАТИ ВЗАЄМОДІЇ З АУДИТОРІЄЮ В РЕАЛІЯХ ВОЄННОГО СТАНУ

The article, based on theoretical research, analyzes the current situation and directions of the development of culture and art of Vinnytsia region in the realities of martial law. The specificity of the war in Ukraine as a phenomenon that occurs not only in the physical, but also in the cultural and artistic space is determined. It is noted that the cultural and artistic space is an effective tool in the war, because the ability to influence the audience, inspire Victory, and help to feel complicity in historical events is integrated into the music, song, and theatrical art itself. The article reveals the powerful ideological potential of the cultural and artistic space of Vinnytsia, which is realized through an artistic and emotional form. It is emphasized that a de-Russification took place on the territory of the cultural and artistic space of Vinnytsia, which affected the language of performance and the ideological content of concert programs, creative events, and theatrical productions. Instead of Russian content, artists promote national art, perform works of Ukrainian classics and modern composers, promote modern Ukrainian poetry. One of the positive results of such activity can be considered the distancing of the Vinnytsia community from the Russian cultural space, the growth of interest in Ukrainian-language content in general. In this context, the main areas of activity of the leading regional centers of culture and arts, creative collectives and institutions of Vinnytsia Region, which work under martial law conditions, were investigated, in particular: the Vinnytsia Regional Philharmonic named after M. D. Leontovych, the Vinnytsia Academic Music and Drama Theater named after Mykola Sadovskyi, the Vinnytsia Regional Academic Puppet Theater, the «Pirogov Sky» open-air cultural and artistic space, the «Shchedryk» creative space, the «Kvadrat» youth center, and the prospects for their further development are outlined. The theoretical research gave grounds for the conclusion that the cultural and artistic space of Vinnytsia in the realities of war is actively introducing new forms of interaction with the audience. It has become not only an entertainment, but also an educational and intellectual-educational environment that effectively influences society by promoting national art. Being an effective means of communication, the cultural and artistic space of the region also unites people, creates positive emotions in them, and returns Ukrainians to normal life in the new military reality.

On the Rhetoric Manual Hortulus Tullianus

Many philological courses from 17th and 18th-century Ukrainian colleges remain unattributed or insufficiently explored. Sometimes, the content and material features of manuscripts provide data for their attribution. The analysis of the rhetorical manual Hortulus Tullianus, which was considered a 17th-century Kyiv-Mohyla rhetoric course, also gave grounds to attribute the record differently. The choice of topics, characters, and objects for the rhetorical examples indicates that the lectures were indeed written and used in the Ukrainian cultural space. This is evidenced by the detailed consideration of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, the mention of the Dnipro River, attention to the life of St. Mykola Sviatosha, and the presence of images of St. Andrew the Apostle and St. Prince Volodymyr. However, some examples in the text describe the late phase of the Northern War. Combined with the absence of Hetman Ivan Mazepa’s name, this fact suggests that the text was created between 1709 and 1721. The length of the text, the indicated period of the lectures’ beginning (spring), watermarks, and some other data suggest that Hortulus Tullianus is a rhetorical supplement to the poetics course, most likely dating from the mid-1710s and belonging to the heritage of Chernihiv College.The later use of these lectures at the College of Pereiaslav is a separate story. Mykhailo Isaievych’s rhetoric course of the 1740/1741 academic year almost completely reproduced the materials of Hortulus Tullianus. However, in Pereiaslav, these short rhetorical instructions served as a yearlong course. It is possible that the Pereiaslav lecturer supplemented the main presentation with examples of speeches and appendices that were not included in the body of the course and were offered for recording separately. The paper concludes with a detailed table of contents of Hortulus Tullianus.

Research on Derivative Business Modes in Modern Publishing and Distribution Based on Aesthetics of Daily Life

Traditional publishing and distribution channels have been challenged by digital reading and e-commerce platforms, prompting transformation through cultural derivatives and cross-sectoral business avenues. "Composite operations" have become a common model for innovative publishing and distribution in China. Bookstores are shifting from "book retailers" to "cultural consumer service spaces," incorporating cultural concepts and creative products into their business scope. This paper conducts field research on the characteristic hybrid bookstores in Shanghai, examining the current state of the industry from perspectives such as types of cultural and creative products, cultural and tourism spaces, and cultural experience services. It explores how aesthetics of daily life can be integrated into publishing and distribution, providing new developmental insights for the traditional publishing industry.

Repurposed churches: an analysis through secularisation theory and the core-periphery model

This study examines the repurposing of Anglican churches in the United Kingdom by integrating the core-periphery model developed by Friedmann and Krugman (UK) into secularisation theory, exploring how religious, cultural, and secular uses reflect broader social changes. With declining church attendance, many buildings are repurposed as homes, cultural monuments, or worship spaces for other faiths, such as free churches or mosques. The theory is tested by comparing several possible reuses for closed Anglican churches in the UK: conversion into homes, monuments, or mosques. The method utilised is a literature review, using data from local newspapers and reports by the Church of England and bodies responsible for monument protection. The result is a multi-dimensional approach similar to Wohlrab-Saar & Burchardt’s concept of multiple secularities, capable of assessing both the conversion of a sacred space into a profane space (a privatised or commercial actor, a public or a cultural space) and the transformation of a Christian/Anglican sacred space into a Muslim or free church sacred space. The findings indicate that many churches have been repurposed into homes and mosques, showing that market forces and individualisation have replaced religion and also revealing the emergence of diverse religious forms. This multidimensional approach suggests a pluralistic view of secularization, where secular and religious expressions co-exist and evolve in contemporary society.

Transformations of street photography in the era of digital technologies

The purpose of the article is to explore the main features of street photography’s development in the digital age. The methodology. Several methods were used to analyze the street photography genre. The logical-analytical method helped to organize and summarize key ideas. The subject-analytical method allowed a deeper look at photography as a form of art and social communication. The system-analytical method showed the connection between technology and the evolution of the genre. The typological method identified the main stages of street photography development, and the historical-cultural method traced the impact of cultural factors on the genre. The results. Digital technologies have greatly influenced the genre, transforming it from traditional to new forms. The use of mobile devices and social media has blurred the lines between professional and amateur photography, opening new creative possibilities. Street photography now includes elements of humanism, surrealism, and documentary film, creating visual stories that reflect the social space of the digital age. The scientific novelty. This study explores how digital technologies have changed street photography. It also explores how humanism, surrealism, and documentary film influence the genre, as well as its historical and modern development. The conclusions. Digital photography is flexible and widespread because of mobile devices, which affects how people create. Smartphones, social media, mirrorless cameras, and AI have changed the genre, making it harder to tell the difference between professional and amateur work. Street photography continues to adapt to the changing cultural space. The practical significance of the article is in its contribution to understanding how digital technologies affect street photography and audiovisual arts. It helps both researchers and artists better understand how technology is changing creative expression.

Legacy of Dmitry Govorov - Olonkhohut Miterey in the context of modern socio-cultural space

The article examines the legacy of Dmitry Govorov - Olonkhohut Miterey in the modern socio-cultural space. According to ancient teachings, thought and, especially, word, have great creative and destructive power; therefore, people who possess these skills were considered special spiritual leaders on a par with outstanding shamans and blacksmiths. Thanks to the efforts of the enthusiast A. F. Boyarov, who recorded the full text of the olonkho, we know about its extensive repertoire, including the olonkho "Mulju Bege." It is known that in the 1970s - 1980s, the folk art of the peoples of Russia was in decline. However, in modern realities, there is a revival of national identity in the form of a movement for the revival of traditional ethnic culture, which leads to a more noticeable role of folklore in public life, the restoration of its origins and the preservation of traditions. The purpose of the article is to analyze the role of the olonkhohut (Olonkho-narrator) in the modern cultural environment using the work of Dmitry Govorov - Olonkhohut Miterey as an example. This study uses historical and typological comparison and a system analysis of modern storytelling. Particular attention is paid to the role of the olonkhohut personality in the context of the modern cultural space. The scholarly novelty of the article lies in the fact that it is the first to consider and analyze the personality of the olonkhohut in the context of the modern cultural environment, which has not been thoroughly studied by researchers to date. This work makes a significant contribution to understanding the role of the olonkhohut in modern culture.

Cultural-Based Spatial Management: Lesson Learnt from The Collective Intelligence of The Gayo Community, Aceh

Cultural spaces represent a heritage passed down through generations. Today, these cultural spaces are in a worrying state, with the advent of globalization and the increasing influence of foreign cultures. Recognizing this situation, researchers aim to contribute and participate in examining the Gayo community's ability to manage these cultural spaces, as the Gayo are known for their rich cultural spaces. This study aims to explore the knowledge the Gayo people possess in managing cultural spaces and the methods by which this knowledge is passed down. Furthermore, this research intends to equip the Gayo community with insight derived from the cultural spaces that have been inherited over the years. The knowledge of these cultural spaces, when passed to future generations, becomes a foundation for the sustainability of the Gayo community's way of life. The research employs an ethnographic approach, aimed at exploring social realities in a natural context. The findings indicate that the Gayo community has a set of rules known as always, which forms the basis for determining their living spaces managed based on cultural principles. Among the Gayo community, there are five collective living spaces that have become the foundation of their way of life: Bur Perutemen, Bur Peruweren, Wih Aunen, Bur Mulo, and Hutan Keuramat.

Artists, territories and cultural policy: recent dynamics in three Portuguese cities

ABSTRACT Contemporary economies are focused on issues anchored by place/territory, through public policies and market strategies. Municipal policies have a greater advantage in the cultural sector than other levels of governance (provinces/states, country) since cities have tools and instruments to shape the cultural economy to a local character and meet their specificities and local creative milieus. Having this in mind, this work seeks to analyse the relationship between artists and cultural spaces in three Portuguese cities: Lisbon, Porto and Évora. This paper aims to identify the relationship between artistic, cultural and creative agents with the place, mediated by the actions of these actors themselves, their networks as well as cultural policies Interview guides were prepared considering the specific context and art worlds of these cities. Around 60 people, including artists and creatives, representatives of groups/collectives and managers of cultural spaces, answered the questions in person or through online meetings using the available platforms. The main results show that the impacts are quite different between the cities. However, gentrification and real estate pressure represent significant challenges for the local artistic community. In all cities, the difficulty of raising funds for cultural activities is a recurring concern. Additionally, the relationship between public management and artists is often debated, with criticisms of centralization of power and lack of creative autonomy.

Артизация как доминирующая характеристика современной массовой культуры

The manifestation of artization in various spheres of mass culture, including media, art, leisure and everyday realities, gives it the role of one of the leading characteristics of contemporary cultural space. The impact of artization on the production, consumption, and interpretation of cultural forms, as well as the formation of cultural identity, social norms, and moral and ethical values, testifies to the importance of this phenomenon for the further evolution of culture. The authors define artization as a process in which non-art objects, events, and practices are endowed with artistic qualities and aestheticized. Being a key factor of mass culture in the XXI century, artization manifests itself in the forms of the aestheticization of everyday life, the theatricalization of social life, and the blurring of the boundaries between art and life. The study reveals that it has both positive and negative consequences for the development of culture. On the one hand, as a result of artization, access to artistic experience is expanded and creativity is stimulated, while on the other hand, superficiality, trivialization and loss of traditional values of culture and art are observed. The authors conclude that artization is an integral part of modern mass culture, it has a pronounced impact on the evolution of human culture and society.

ARCHITECTURAL FORMATION OF CULTURAL SPACES AS MEANS OF ADAPTATION AND RESTORATION OF THE CITY ENVIRONMENT

The article considers features of the formation of modern cultural spaces in an urban environment as the newest objects of active public use and the creation of innovative social communications. It also highlights general scientific approaches and methods of their formation in the structure of large cities. The content of the main terms and concepts of modern spaces in the urban environment is established and the aspects related to their restoration and adaptation in the post-war period are defined. The methods of adaptation of cultural spaces are considered. Prospective trends of their formation in the existing structure of the city have been determined. Scientific and theoretical experience of the formation of cultural spaces in the structure of large cities are based on a comprehensive study of the principles and approaches to the organization of the urban environment, which serves as a platform for cultural exchange, the preservation of cultural identity and the development of the community's creative potential. In the conditions of modern urbanization, cultural spaces perform not only the function of social connection, but also become important centers of integration of the latest architectural and technological solutions that meet the needs and lifestyle of residents. Cultural spaces of large cities are characterized by a high level of interaction with other elements of urban infrastructure, reflect global trends and at the same time preserve unique features of local culture. Also, the issues of new ways of development or reorganization, reconstruction or adaptation of community socio-cultural spaces in the existing urban environment are important. his is an important aspect in the period of post-war reconstruction of large modern cities of various countries in the world. Studying the existing experience of their formation allows a deeper to figure out how these spaces can contribute to improving the quality of life, stimulate social interactions, and support the economic attractiveness of the city. Analysis and study of the methods of architectural formation of cultural spaces in large cities makes it possible to define conceptual ideas for integrating such objects into the urban environment, taking into account socio and cultural, economic, and ecological aspects. This contributes to the search for effective models of urban development, oriented toward growth and a harmonious combination of traditions and innovations in the city for improved life.

ВЕСТИМЕНТАРНАЯ МОДА В ФИЛОСОФСКО-ЭСТЕТИЧЕСКОМ АСПЕКТЕ

Vestimential fashion, one of the most important phenomena of the modern world, has become the subject of research in various fields of humanitarian knowledge, but for philosophy this object remains of secondary importance. Of course, fashion as a complex systemic object requires a comprehensive study, but one should not forget its foundations, which consist in the realization of the aesthetic ideals of its time. Developing from a simple perception of beauty to the formation of an attitude towards it and awareness of it as an object of cognition, internally enriching itself with a supra-biological level of activity, a utilitarian, fundamentally objective human activity develops. Perception, awareness and creation, which make up the analytical and cognitive activity of a person, determine the emergence of a value orientation in the consciousness of the subject, which allows to bring the subject activity into the space of aesthetic culture. For the full-fledged formation of the fashion process, there had to be a transformation from a person’s mode of action into the goal of his actions, the conditions for him were formed by the Renaissance. The final establishment of fashion as a system occurred during the development of capitalism, which brought the forms of culture in line with its worldview and forms of production. The current state of fashion is the most remote from all previous centuries, since it has revised all established aesthetic ideals, at the same time, history provides examples of renewal during periods of transition of epochs, the crisis of which contributes to a rethinking of aesthetic norms. Fashion, as a phenomenon in perpetual dynamics, which has declared novelty as its fundamental value, demonstrates great transformative potential precisely in times of crisis.
