Factors Affecting Project Owners' Commitment to Implement Green Building Principles in the South Kalimantan Province of Indonesia

The construction of green buildings faces various challenges, including high costs, extended implementation timelines, and numerous requirements that must be satisfied. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the implementation of green buildings. The research focuses on the PUPR Office in South Kalimantan Province, as well as planning consultants, construction management personnel, and contractors involved in the construction projects of the South Kalimantan Sports Hall and the Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari Mosque in South Kalimantan Province. Key factors affecting the implementation of green buildings include financial commitment, energy savings, and the utilization of environmentally friendly materials. These factors encompass several variables: additional fund allocation for green buildings, the skills and experience of designers, the integration of natural and artificial lighting, energy-saving planning, the application of prefabrication technology and flatpack design, the use of sustainable materials, the incorporation of local wisdom, and strategies for light efficiency and outsourcing that involve gain sharing. Design And Build Project Risk Analysis at Tugu Pal 0 Stage II Project Construction

The implementation of the design and build method in the Phase II Pal Nol Monument construction project, managed by the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR) of South Kalimantan Province, aims to analyze the risks associated with the design and construction processes. This project, which utilizes an integrated design and build construction method (multi-year), is located on Jl. Dharma Praja within the South Kalimantan Provincial Office Area and executed by the contractor KSO ADHI-PUTRA. A comprehensive risk mitigation strategy for the project includes detailed work planning, effective coordination, periodic evaluation, a thorough understanding of design specifications, continuous risk analysis, flexible contingency plans, and strong communication with government entities and stakeholders. Integrated Magnetic and Geochemical Assessment of the Soil from the Steam Power Plant Area of South Kalimantan Province

Abstract The magnetic proxy approach has proven to be efficient in the assessment of pollution by potentially toxic elements when targeting soils or areas with a homogeneous background where anthropogenic magnetic signals can be easily distinguished. It’s crucial to conduct research on the impact of fly ash on the vicinity of the PLTU in this particular area, as it’s a previously unexplored area. The unique thing about this research is that this PLTU uses coal containing Fe, Pb, and Mg as fuel and has a fairly high susceptibility value for fly ash and bottom ash. This study is due to an analysis of the magnetic susceptibility and heavy metal content in the soil of the area around the Asam-Asam steam power plant (PLTU) of South Kalimantan Province, where geogenic input and fly ash can influence it. Heavy metals that have passed the threshold at all locations are Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, V, and Al. Most of the correlation coefficients are strong and significant between magnetic susceptibility values and heavy metal concentrations at each location. The correspondence between magnetic susceptibility values and heavy metal content reflects the potential of magnetic proxy methods at polluted spots, provided that the lithological conditions are carefully considered.

Pengaruh Religiusitas terhadap Minat Menjadi Nasabah pada Bank Indonesia Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan dengan Syariah Financial Literacy Dan Financial Behavior Sebagai Variabel Mediasi (Studi Kasus pada Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Tapin)

Religiosity can be a factor that influences a person's interest in becoming a customer in a sharia banking company, including Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). South Kalimantan Province is one of the regions that has the highest religiosity with a Muslim population of 96.7%. Likewise, sharia financial literacy will be one of the determining factors for this interest. Data also shows that the level of sharia financial literacy in South Kalimantan Province always increases every year. Then the financial behavior factor or financial behavior will also increase this interest. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of religiosity on interest in becoming a customer at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) South Kalimantan Province with sharia financial literacy and financial behavior as mediating variables. This research is quantitative in type. The population is BSI KCP Tapin (South Kalimantan) customers with a sample of 190 people. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling method, the data collection technique uses a questionnaire and is processed using SmartPLS and analyzed using partial least squares (PLS) analysis. The results of this research found that partially, religiosity, sharia financial literacy and financial behavior had a direct influence on interest in becoming a BSI KCP Tapin customer with a positive and significant value. Religiosity has a direct effect on sharia financial literacy and religiosity has an indirect effect on interest through sharia financial literacy as a positive and significant mediating variable. Sharia financial literacy has a direct effect on financial behavior and sharia financial literacy has an indirect effect on interest through financial behavior as a mediating variable.

Analyze Consumer Purchase Decisions Purebred Chicken Meat in Banjarbaru City: Factor Analysis Approach

Purebred chicken meat is the most consumed meat by the public among other types of protein. Purebred chicken meat is very easy to find on the market. In addition to the affordable price, purebred chicken meat is easy to process for various dishes used at home. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of purebred chicken meat consumers in Banjarbaru City and analyze the factors that affect the decision to purchase purebred chicken meat in Banjarbaru City. The research uses primary and secondary data. Primary data is taken from consumers who buy purebred chicken meat in the market. Secondary data was taken from the Central Statistics Agency of South Kalimantan Province and the South Kalimantan Plantation and Livestock Office. Factor analysis was used to see the correlation between variables; namely, as many as 28 variables were used to see the correlation. The results of the study show that most consumers are women (85.93%), with housewives as the most buyers (30%) in the age range of 21–30 years, the last education is high school/equivalent (50%), with the highest expenditure of <Rp 2,000,000 (50%). The frequency of chicken meat purchases on weekdays and holidays occurred 2–4 times (68.33%) and (50.83%). The decision to buy purebred chicken meat in the city of Banjarbaru is influenced by four factors, namely quality of service with an eigenvalue of 10.190 (36.39%), location factors with eigenvalues of 4.872 (17.40%), meat quality factors of 2.627 (9.38%) and price factors with eigenvalues of 1.854 (6.62%), which are combined (cumulative eigenvalues) to 69.79% explained about these four factors while 30.21% explained by factors outside the service (quality of service), location, meat quality and price.

MARKETING MIX ANALYSIS OF PATIENT VISITS AT RSGM GUSTI HASAN AMAN

Background : Improving public health can be conducted by providing the health service of facilities and infrastructure. RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman becomes the center for the dental and oral health center, especially in the province of South Kalimantan. Based on the patient visit data can be acknowledged that 81% of the patient visit in 2020 and 57,6% in 2022 are patients taken or treated by professional student or young dentists. The different amounts of patients visiting are one of the causes of the less impact of the marketing mix in people that conducted by RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman. Purpose: Analyze marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, physical evidence) to patient visits at RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman. Methods: Analytical observational research with cross-sectional research design. The population in this research are outpatients at RSGM Gusti Hasan Aman with a research sample of 107 respondents. Results: The results of the chi-square test on the analysis of the influence of marketing mix, product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence affect the level of visits. Conclusion: Increasing the marketing mix in each dimension will raise the number of patient visits in utilizing health services.

ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT NEEDS IN STUDENTS 12-15 YEARS USING ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT NEEDS INDICATOR (IKPO) IN BANJARMASIN

Background: Based on the data from Riskesdas (Primary Health Research) of 2013, the prevalence of malocclusion in 12-15 years old in the Province of South Kalimantan was 5.6%, which was the age group with the highest malocclusion over other age groups. Malocclusion itself is a dental abnormality that ranks third after dental caries and periodontal disease in oral health problems in Indonesia with a very high prevalence of around 83.3%. Treatment for malocclusion condition can be performed by orthodontic treatment. One of the indexes for measuring orthodontic treatment needs is IKPO (Orthodontic Treatment Needs Indicator). This indicator is highly suitable to be used as an instrument to find out the orthodontic treatment needs of students, especially in Indonesia. Objective: To find out the level of orthodontic treatment needs in students 12-15 years old using Orthodontic Treatment Needs Indicator (IKPO) according to age and gender. Methods: The study conducted was quantitative descriptive research with a cross-sectional approach. Samples were 108 students of 12-15 years old in 5 Junior High Schools in Banjarmasin. Every sample filled out IKPO questionnaires to asses orthodontic treatment needs. Results: The results of the study showed that 88% of respondents need orthodontic treatment. This consisted of 58 female students and 37 male students. The age group that required the most orthodontic treatment in this study was 12 years old. Conclusion: Orthodontic treatment needs in students 12-15 years old were high in Banjarmasin, which was measured using IKPO.

Mapping spatial analysis of fish disease incidence and antibiotic resistance trends in selected provinces of Indonesia

Abstract Monitoring and visiting farmers affected by fish mortality is imperative. It offers insights into fish disease mapping and the trend of antibiotic resistance, serving as a fundamental for future strategies for preventing and treating fish diseases. The data collection was carried out by visiting farmers who suffered from fish mortality in 2022 in East Java, South Kalimantan, and Bali provinces. A total of 128 samples of infected fish were collected and analyzed using PCR and standard microbiological methods, and the findings were analyzed using spatial analysis and visual interpretation. Based on PCR results, the prevalence of fish diseases showed 65% iridovirus cases in gourami and tilapia, 31% in tilapia was TiLV, and 4% were Francisella sp. infection in tilapia. According to the results of microbiological tests, 86% of Edwardsiella tarda samples in pangasius were resistant to Oxytetracycline. Aeromonas sp. infection was the highest case in catfish, 58% were sensitive to Sulfamethoxazole. Streptococcosis was a typical tilapia disease that was 62% susceptible to Enrofloxacine and Sulfamethoxazole. Cases of Nocardia sp. and Staphylococcus sp. infection in gourami were found to be 71% intermediate to Enrofloxacine and Oxytetracycline, respectively.

How ‘Ethical Leadership and Work Climate’ Drive Job Satisfaction: Insights from Banjarmasin’s Health Department

This research aims to analyze the influence of ethical leadership (X1) and ethical work climate (X2) on job satisfaction (Y) in employees of the Banjarmasin City Health Service, South Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. This quantitative research used a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach using SmartPLS. The population in this study was all employees of the Banjarmasin City Health Service, totaling 92 people. The total sampling technique of non-probability sampling was used. Findings showed that ethical leadership positively affects job satisfaction among Banjarmasin City Health Service employees. Furthermore, it showed that ethical work climate positively affects job satisfaction among Banjarmasin City Health Service employees.

Analysis of the Contribution of HRM to the Process of POAC in Improving the Quality of Teachers at SDIT AZ-Zahra Rantau, Tapin Regency

This study analysed the contribution of human resource management (HRM) to the processes of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling (POAC) in improving teacher quality at SDIT Az Zahra Islamic elementary school in Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan Province of Indonesia. A qualitative case study approach was employed involving interviews with the school principal, foundation representatives, and teachers, as well as classroom observations and document analysis. The findings revealed SDIT Az Zahra implements the POAC framework effectively in its HRM practices. The planning stage involves needs assessment through surveys and performance data analysis. Organizing prioritizes task delegation and program coordination aligned with identified needs. Actuating centres on delegation, rewards, and a supportive work environment. Controlling includes regular program evaluations and feedback mechanisms. While teachers valued training opportunities, there was a need for more skills-focused and personalized development. Challenges in integrating faith, knowledge and technology into lessons were also identified. Recommendations include pursuing partnerships for shared resources, leveraging technology for teacher development, and benchmarking with other schools. Overall, SDIT Az Zahra's data driven HRM approach utilizing POAC shows promise for maintaining high teacher quality and achieving academic excellence. The study contributes insights into improving HRM alignment with organizational goals in Islamic educational institutions.

Training on Making Street Light Poles Using Light Steel for the Community of Griya Permata Housing Complex, Handil Bakti Village, Alalak District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province

Training on making street lighting poles using light steel can be an effective solution in improving the quality of lighting in public areas. Light steel has several advantages, such as lighter weight, resistance to corrosion, and ease of installation compared to conventional materials such as concrete or wood. The implementation of training activities on making street lighting poles using light steel was carried out on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Welding and Plumbing Workshop, Banjarmasin State Polytechnic. It is hoped that this training can contribute to community empowerment, where participants can apply the skills they have acquired to open small businesses in the manufacture and installation of lighting poles

The Relationship between Mother's Knowledge and the Incident of Stunting in Toddlers at the Mundar Village Polindes, South Labuan Amas District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency in 2024

Stunting is stunted growth caused by a lack of nutritional intake due to a diet that does not meet long-term needs. South Kalimantan Province is in the top 3 provinces with the highest reduction in stunting (-5.4%) in 2022 based on the SSGI results released by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. Initially in 2021 stunting in South Kalimantan reached 30.0% and in 2022 it decreased by 24.6%. With a figure of 24.6%, reducing stunting is still a priority for South Kalimantan to achieve the target of 14% in 2024. Based on data from the Hulu Sungai Tengah district health service in 2020, the figure was 10%, experiencing a decrease in 2021 with a figure of 9.44%, and in in 2022 there will be an increase of 31.10%. This research is analytical research. With a Cross Sectional approach. The research results showed that the majority of mothers had sufficient knowledge and 21 children were not stunted (33.9%), 9 children were stunted (14.5%), and there was insufficient knowledge with the incidence of stunted children being 13 people (21.0%). and there were 2 children (3.2%) who were not stunted, while there were 0 people (0%) with good knowledge and stunted babies, and 17 people (27.4%) who were not stunted. Based on the results of the chi square test, it was found that there was a relationship between maternal knowledge and the incidence of stunting at the Mundar Village Polindes with a P value = 0.000. It is recommended that the Mundar Village Polindes, South Labuan Amas District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency further increase health education activities related to health and education for mothers with babies and toddlers about preventing stunting through improving child nutrition.

IHST (Integrated, Holistic, Spatial, and Thematic) Flood Management Model: The Integration of Flood Model, Green Infrastructure and Non-Structural Mitigation in the Urban Area of Barabai City

Abstract The January 2021 Floods paralyzed the entire Hulu Sungai Tengah Region, South Kalimantan Province, Indonesia, submerging 20,553 houses, causing minor damage to 2,973 houses, severe damage to 268 houses, and resulting in losses exceeding 53 million dollars. The Barabai Urban Area was one of the locations severely affected by flood. The flood management was conducted in the Barabai urban area to predict and visualize water movement during flooding, aiding in understanding and mitigating flood risks, as well as developing effective flood management strategies. The flood management was carried out adopted the IHST Model, which is the abbreviation from Integrated, Holistic, Spatial, and Thematic. The activities involve HECRAS 6.2 application, utilizing Google Earth terrain data, river geometry data, and flood discharge analysis based on the Nakayasu method. The analysis results highlighted the need for both structural and non-structural flood interventions. Non-structural interventions aiming to reduce vulnerability and enhance community capacity in facing flood. Structural developments involved the construction of storm water retention ponds and river embankments at specific locations based on the flood modelling results. The concept of polder and river embankment development was approached through green infrastructure principles, as flood management solutions should not only facilitate rapid water drainage but also improve soil absorption to prevent prolonged inundation.

Dynamic implementation of land registration acceleration through community participation: A case study in Banjar District, South Kalimantan Province

The government’s land registration program aims to protect communities from future land disputes. However, lack of community support presents challenges to its process and implementation. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, this article examines these challenges from the community’s perspective, focusing on land registration, community participation, and implementation dynamics. It suggests that learning from these dynamics can enhance the program’s effectiveness, highlighting the need for a systematic approach to community involvement.

Karakteristik Fisika dan Kimia pada Tanah Ultisol di Lahan Perkebunan Karet di Desa Gunung Kupang Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan

Soil properties are the inherent characteristics of soil bodies in different locations that are influenced by factors such as mineral composition, structure, texture, and organic content. Soil has characteristics that affect the growth of the plants that are cultivated. This study aims to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of Ultisol soil at a depth of 0-50 cm on rubber plantation land in Cempaka District, Banjarbaru City. This research was conducted in the laboratory of ULM Soil Department. The land used was in Gunung Kupang, Cempaka Village, Cempaka District, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan Province. The research method used in this study is an exploratory descriptive method whose implementation is carried out directly at the research site and continued with soil sampling as material for analysis in the laboratory. Soil sampling was purposefully determined in 10 minipits in rubber plantations with two sides of observation at five depths, namely 0-10 cm, 10-20 cm, 20-30 cm, 30-40 cm, and 40-50 cm. Thus, all observations amounted to 100 samples. The data analysis used is presented in graphical form and analyzed descriptively. The results of this study show that increasing soil depth causes changes in soil physical characteristics. Physical characteristics of soil texture values affect the value of bulk density, particle density,and soil moisture content. The phenomenon of changes in physical characteristics ultimately affects the chemical characteristics of C-organic, soil pH, N-total, P-total and K-total values.

Legal Awareness of Citizens in Preventing Forest and Land Fires (Karhutla) in South Kalimantan Province

This article is based on an empirical study of forest and land fires in South Kalimantan Province. These fires frequently occur and persist, especially during drought seasons. The main causes are twofold: first, the expansion of agricultural land through clearing new areas; and second, the negligence of residents during hot, dry seasons, such as discarding cigarette butts carelessly without considering the potential consequences. The root issue behind these fires is the low level of legal awareness among citizens. This lack of awareness is due to the low educational levels of residents living near fire-prone areas, as well as insufficient and poorly structured government-led socialization efforts. Additionally, the economic conditions of these communities, where many are low-income farmers, contribute to their reliance on traditional, quick, and cost-effective methods like burning to manage land for agriculture. This practice not only harms the environment but also impacts public health. Therefore, effective measures to address forest and land fires require a dual approach from the authorities: enhancing legal awareness through improved socialization efforts and addressing the economic challenges faced by residents in fire-affected areas.

Coconut Shells, Water Hyacinth and Rice Husks are Very Effective in Improving the Quality of Physical and Chemical Standards of Dug Well Water in Flood Areas

Introduction: Ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water is crucial, especially in flood-prone regions where the water quality in dug wells can deteriorate due to various physicochemical factors. This research was aimed to measure the effectiveness of natural materials in improving water quality based on physicochemical parameters and to compare water quality before and after treatment in Astambul Subdistrict of Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province. Methods: The study involved a survey of 192 private boreholes and dug wells across five villages in the Astambul Subdistrict, with 30 samples selected for detailed analysis. Key physicochemical parameters analyzed included total dissolved solids (TDS), dissolved oxygen (DO), turbidity, and total suspended solids (TSS). TDS, with a standard limit of 50 mg/L, served as a primary water quality indicator. DO, essential for gauging water oxygenation, and was measured as it results from photosynthesis and atmospheric absorption. Turbidity was assessed using a turbidimeter to determine water clarity, and a UV-vis Spectrophotometer 2008 was utilized to measure levels of iron (Fe) and mangasene (Mn). Results and Discussion: The findings demonstrated that coconut shells, husks, and water hyacinths improved water quality across physical and chemical parameters. Statistical analysis using t-tests showed improvements in these parameters after treatment. For example, DO levels increased in multiple villages, with the highest percentage in Kaliukan Village (59.2%) and decreases in turbidity and TSS. Conclusion: The study concluded that coconut shells, husks, and water hyacinths have potential to enhance physicochemical quality of water.

The Measurement of the Zakat Management Organization Transparency Index at Baznas Province

This research aims to measure and compare the transparency index at the provincial level of the National Board of Zakat Republic of Indonesia (BAZNAS). This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The transparency index is measured using the Zakat Management Organization Transparency Index (ITRANS OPZ) model with a multi-stage weight index approach. Sample selection was based on purposive sampling, with four entities: BAZNAS South Kalimantan Province, BAZNAS Special Region of Yogyakarta, BAZNAS Bengkulu, and BAZNAS Southeast Sulawesi. The results of measuring the transparency index in four BAZNAS Provinces are sequentially as follows: BAZNAS Special Region of Yogyakarta (0.96), BAZNAS South Kalimantan, BAZNAS Southeast Sulawesi (0.89), and BAZNAS Bengkulu (0.81). The comparison results of four BAZNAS Provinces show that the highest index is BAZNAS South Kalimantan and BAZNAS Special Region of Yogyakarta (financial dimension; 0.40), BAZNAS South Kalimantan, BAZNAS Province Special Region of Yogyakarta, and BAZNAS Southeast Sulawesi (management dimension; 0.26), and BAZNAS Special Region of Yogyakarta (program dimension; 0.30). This research implies that BAZNAS, at the provincial level, needs to increase the transparency index to increase Muzaki's trust and collect zakat funds in each Province.

Land Cover Changes from 2000 to 2021 in the Watershed Area of Sub-Watersheds Banyu Irang and Banyu Maluka in Cempaka Village, South Kalimantan

The Maluka Watershed, covering an area of 89,506.19 hectares, includes the sub-watersheds of Banyu Irang and Bati Bati, which span Tanah Laut Regency, Banjar Regency, and Banjarbaru City, in South Kalimantan Province. This research aims to analyze land cover changes and soil fertility in the watershed area, as conducted in the Banyu Irang sub-watershed, Cempaka Village, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan Province, focusing on land cover changes from 2000 to 2021. The analysis of land cover changes in 2000 and 2021 was conducted using land cover Shapefiles from 2000 and 2021. The land cover changes from 2000 to 2021 in the Catchment Area of the Banyu Irang sub-watershed, Maluka Watershed, Cempaka Village, show several significant changes.
