COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF HISTORICALAND TRANSLATION DISCOURSE OF ABAI

The purpose of this scientific article is to study the significance of Abai as a historical precedent figure and to analyze his historical and translational discourses from a scientific perspective. The main aim of the research is to uncover the essence of Abai's discourse, conduct a comprehensive analysis, and determine his significant contribution to the historical development of the country and the field of translation studies. The research also aims to assess the level of precedence associated with Abai's name and his writings. This research makes a significant contribution by presenting Abai's translational discourse as a historical-literary discourse, characterized by adherence to the historical context and cultural specificity. Recognizing Abai's work as a product of a historical personality, the research reflects the features and characteristics of the historical era. The study employs a comprehensive approach, including discursive-historical, cognitive-discursive, and pragmatic-communicative methodologies, supplemented by sociological survey methods. This approach allows for a thorough analysis of Abai's discourse, identifying and describing the extralinguistic, cognitive, pragmatic, and linguistic-stylistic components of his historical discourse. Asa result of the research, an in-depth analysis of Abai's translational discourse was conducted, shedding light on its historical nature and determining its level of precedence. The results obtained not only provide valuable insights into Abai's discourse but also significantly contribute to the development of the theory of historical discourse and translation studies. This study contributes to the development of the theory of historical discourse and translation studies, thereby expanding knowledge of cultural and linguistic dynamics in a historical context. The practical significance of the research lies in its ability to deepen the understanding of Abai's contribution to the historical process and the field of translation studies. By studying Abai's discourses, researchers and scholars can gain valuable information about the historical context and the impact of his works on society and the theory of translation.

Author’s Creativity in Professional Activities

The article analyzes such a phenomenon of human activity as creativity. Examining a brief historical background of the origin of creative activity, it is noted that it accompanies humanity from the moment of its appearance to the present day for the aestheticization of the external appearance and surrounding life. Many famous scientists, philosophers and psychologists define creativity, on the one hand, as a process of creative development of material and spiritual values, and on the other, as an extraordinary approach to solving standard work functions. In the course of a rapid analysis of various types of professions, it was revealed that creativity is associated with a variety of human activities, with which, as it often seems, it is not directly related: sports, cooking, medicine, etc. In this regard, as the main problematic of the article, a large What is important is the disclosure of the concepts of author’s creativity in professional activities. Author’s creativity implies an individual approach and difference from other authors in the search for storylines and the use of tools, materials, and techniques in various variations. The artistic works of the authors of the article, M. Krasnova and Yu. Zelenova, are presented as examples of author’s creativity in professional activities., as well as the best works of MABiU students (Moscow). The main goal of the work was to study and rank the concepts of author’s creativity among an audience of creative youth (students of creative profiles of college and university) using the method of sociological survey. This showed that through creativity, first of all, young authors search for ways of self-expression, and the state of internal balance and the presence of an internal desire for discovery are necessary conditions for productive creative activity among young people.

Characteristics of the participants in mass sporting events in Vietnam

This study aimed to examine the characteristics of athletes and spectators at mass sports competitions, focusing on aspects such as quantity, age, gender, educational level, occupation, and income to provide a comprehensive demographic overview. The study employed a sociological survey method, sampling 10 localities out of 63 provinces and cities across Vietnam. The survey included 520 spectators (Group 1) and 220 athletes (Group 2), resulting in a total sample size of 740 participants. The results are illustrated using graphical representations. The majority of spectators at mass sport events are aged 23 to under 60, whereas athletes show a more even age distribution, indicating lower student participation in spectating. Men significantly outnumber women. Most participants hold high school or university degrees, with the largest group being unskilled workers. Students, freelancers, and retirees are more evenly distributed. Professional field participants make up 35.5% of the total. Income-wise, most participants are middle to high-income earners, with nearly half earning between 5 and 10 million VND per month, and 42.3% earning over 10 million VND. Low-income and very high-income individuals are mostly spectators, while medium to high-income individuals are more likely to be athletes.

Addressing issues about building the consciousness of environment protection for contemporary Vietnamese students

Introduction. Protecting the environment and proactively adapting to climate change is not just a call but has become one of humanity's most urgent tasks. Building the consciousness of environmental protection for Vietnamese high school students, who shape the country’s future, is important to protect the environment and adapt to climate change effectively. It has theoretical and practical significance, contributing to Vietnam's well-being and happy development. Research methodology. The article uses the method of synthesis – analysis of secondary documents to systematize theoretical issues and explain the problems raised in building awareness of ecological environment protection for students. The comparison and contrast method provides a multi-dimensional perspective when analyzing and evaluating about building awareness of environmental protection for students in Vietnam and other countries around the world. In addition, this method also helps the author compare and discuss with other authors about building awareness of environmental protection for students in Vietnam today. The expert interview method is used to obtain in-depth analysis from the experts' perspectives on the problem of building awareness of ecological environmental protection for students in Vietnam. Sociological survey method: This method is used to survey and collect information through questionnaires to survey the current situation of the problem of building awareness of ecological environment protection for students born in Vietnam. At the same time, the article uses a scale: To evaluate the level of perception, in the questionnaires, the topic uses a 5-level Likert scale. Data were processed using SPSS statistical software. Results. Addressing issues about building the consciousness of environment protection for contemporary Vietnamese students: Firstly, the authorities at all levels are not fully aware of the importance of educating Vietnamese students about environmental protection. Secondly, the content, programs, and teaching methods of environmental education are often dense and lengthy, failing to meet the current requirements. Thirdly, training and fostering teachers in environmental education have not met the current requirements. Fourthly, there are still many inadequacies between theory and practice in educating Vietnamese students about environmental protection today. Practical significance. Building the consciousness of environmental protection among Vietnamese high school students is new, but important and urgent. Therefore, its implementation is not a simple matter and requires close coordination between school leaders, teachers, and all students. Especially, it must be carried out synchronously, regularly, and continuously. It is necessary to promote the initiative of Vietnamese high school students to raise awareness of environmental protection and preserving the green planet.

Awareness and Behavior of Residents on the Classification of Household Solid Waste in Trungmon, Vietnam

The classification of household solid waste (CHSW) in rural areas and areas beginning to urbanize in developing countries is very important. This not only helps reduce environmental pollution but also helps recycle and utilize resources effectively, while creating a healthy and sustainable living environment for the community. The pressure from household solid waste in large cities is an alarming signal that it is necessary to classify household solid waste in rural areas as soon as the urbanization process begins to accelerate strongly. Clearly, research to survey people's awareness and behavior about CHSW in Trung Mon commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang province, Vietnam using sociological survey method through questionnaires is imperative. The findings revealed that residents have a good awareness of the CHSW policy and the majority consider classification necessary. Noticeably, attention is needed on encouraging the use of more environmentally friendly products and increasing education to reinforce awareness and positive habits in waste management to better CHSW practices. By building upon existing research and addressing the unique context of the study area, this research endeavors to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing CHSW practices in similar settings globally.

Modern Power Problems Training of Military Officers of Special Purpose Units

Topicality. The growing requirements for the level of functional capabilities of the body of servicemen of special purpose units require scientists, together with specialists from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to develop effective mechanisms for improving the system of military training. The Goal of the Work. Studying the problem of the feasibility of implementing the results of modern research on adaptive changes in the body in the conditions of different load regimes into the process of military training of military personnel of special purpose units. Research Methods. The work uses a theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific literature and a sociological survey method. 25 physical training instructors in the Armed Forces and 84 servicemen of special purpose units (SPUs) took part in the study. The key issues were related to military training in the Armed Forces. A comparative analysis of the answers of instructors and servicemen with the results of research by leading scientists studying modern mechanisms for improving power capabilities was carried out. Research Results. It was established that the results of the survey of physical training instructors in the Armed Forces and military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in matters related to the use of control methods for adaptive changes in the body and load correction mechanisms do not fully correspond to the data presented by modern, mostly foreign scientists. Thus, in the modern system of force training of foreign armies, physiological, morphofunctional and biochemical methods of controlling adaptive changes in the body are actively used, and in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as the results of our survey showed, only the heart rate indicator. Also, the Armed Forces do not use methods of quantitative assessment of force load parameters, which does not allow for the development of optimal load regimes for each category of servicemen. Conclusions. On the basis of the conducted research, it can be stated that the instructors and servicemen of the PSP who participated in the survey only minimally realize the potential that can be obtained in the process of military training. The absence of a mechanism for developing optimal load modes, their correction, and integral control of adaptive changes in the body will not allow to selectively increase the maximum strength or strength endurance indicators of the relevant muscle groups necessary for the implementation of combat tasks in a short period of time.

Monumental trees of Ukraine and public awareness of them

Studying the species diversity and condition of monumental trees contributes to their preservation and is important for public awareness of their role in ecosystems and the country’s ecological heritage. The purpose of the study was to reveal the significance of such trees for society. The task of the work was to research the characteristics of monumental trees in Ukraine. The history of environmental protection is analysed and the features of monumental tree preservation in Ukraine are presented. The beginning of environmental protection activity related to the preservation of trees in Ukraine and the most active periods have been revealed of it. The national features of the popularization of monumental trees are given. Based on the analysis of botanical natural monuments cadastres of Ukraine and Kyiv, quantitative and species composition of monumental trees were established. The most common (Quercus robur), common, less common and rare (Buxus sempervirens, Catalpa bignonioides, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Rhododendron myrtifolium, Sequoiadendron giganteum and others) species of monumental trees have been established, and important issues regarding their conservation are indicated. According to the types of street plantings, the majority (68%) are single trees. To assess the awareness of the population about ancient trees, the method of sociological survey of respondents was used. The most significant values of monumental trees for the population were studied. The importance of the populations’ awareness of old trees through the development of an emotional connection with them, which contributes to their protection, has been established. The obtained results can be used in future environmental protection activity, exchanging of scientists’ experience from different countries regarding the preservation of such trees, enrichment of information about growth characteristics, historical facts or other issues related to these trees

Drivers of loyalty and consumer satisfaction with shearing urban mobility services: Carsharing, ridesharing, bikesharing, and kicksharing

Aim. To identify drivers of loyalty and consumer satisfaction with urban mobility shearing services.Objectives. To determine the characteristics of the use of shearing services; to formulate issues for shearing services that require priority attention; to identify drivers of loyalty and barriers to the use of shearing services, as well as drivers of user satisfaction with shearing services; to formulate recommendations for the development of the quality of shearing services.Methods. The authors applied the method of sociological survey (with participation of 615 respondents who use urban mobility sharing services at least once a year). The NPS index was used to identify drivers of loyalty, CSI index was used to detect drivers of customer satisfaction. The study was conducted in the context of such sharing services as carsharing, ridesharing, bikesharing and kicksharing, taking into account the relevant specific determinants of the quality of sharing services. The results were processed using general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis of information. Results. Users are loyal to carsharing, bikesharing and kicksharing, but not loyal to ridesharing. However, they are satisfied with ridesharing services in all four segments. The main drivers of loyalty were the convenience of using the services as an alternative to public transportation and the relative cheapness of the service. Respondents consider safety issues to be the main barrier. To a greater extent, consumers are satisfied with the technical side of the use of sharing services (we are talking about the convenience of the mobile application, confidentiality of personal data, technical condition of the car). Consumers are less satisfied with the speed of registration, loyalty programs, and the cost of insurance.Conclusions. Due to the fact that users are not loyal to ridesharing, operators of these services should primarily pay attention to safety during the trip, social capital of drivers (rating system), as well as the variety and number of available routes. In general, the area of growth of competitiveness of the shearing services on transport can be traced in the improvement of product metrics of web and mobile versions of applications, development of loyalty programs and pricing of insurance products

Cultural aspects of model formation of socio-economic development in eu regions: a comparative analysis

The article reveals the actual problem of cultural influence on the socio-economic development of the regions in the European Union. The research goal is to compare socio-cultural differences, which are significant factors for determining the vectors of socio-economic development of European countries. The article presents the results of an empirical study of the cultural components of regional models of socioeconomic development on the example of some countries of the European Union. The research materials were official statistics and expert assessments obtained as a result of a survey of specialists from various academic research structures on the social network Twitter. The total number of respondents from 9 European universities was 900 people. The research methodology is based on a sociocultural approach, includes the methods of the general scientific group and of special methods: historiographic analysis of scientific literature on the research topic, the method of comparative analysis, the method of sociological survey, statistical analysis, quantitative and qualitative research methods. Based on the empirical study, the following results were obtained: as the main cultural components that determine the specifics of the socio-economic development of the EU regions, the experts identified the historical context, national mentality, as well as value attitudes of behavior.

ОЦЕНКА РАЗВИТОСТИ УПРАВЛЕНЧЕСКИХ КОМПЕТЕНЦИИ СТУДЕНТОВ ТЕХНИЧЕСКОГО ВУЗА

The article considers the concept of such a term as “managerial competencies”. The structure of managerial competencies was revealed and each element was studied in detail. Human Resource Management Theory and Emotional Intelligence Theory were the theoretical prerequisites of the practical research. The results were obtained by the method of sociological survey: questionnaires among students of technical university. Weaknesses in the development of individual components-elements of students’ managerial competencies were revealed. The conclusion presents practical recommendations for improving individual elements of managerial competencies, which are least developed in the students-experts. The study confirms that both professional competences and soft-skills are important for a modern graduate and student of a technical university, among which managerial competences occupy a significant place.

ПІДХОДИ ДО ПІДВИЩЕННЯ РІВНЯ ФІНАНСОВО-ЕКОНОМІЧНОЇ ГРАМОТНОСТІ УКРАЇНЦІВ ЗАСОБАМИ БІЗНЕС-ЖУРНАЛІСТИКИ

According to the results of an empirical study using a sociological survey method, it was established that Ukrainians are oriented towards receiving information from various digital platforms (92 %). Business topics in the structure of daily information consumption take third place according to the recognition of 43 % of respondents, military (69 %) and entertainment (50 %) are more popular. It was found that more than 91 % of respondents have little or limited knowledge of financial literacy and only 3 % of 138 respondents feel knowledgeable and prepared. Among the main problems in the perception of business information, which limits contact with it: the complexity of the presentation, the accumulation of numerical data, the use of difficult-to-understand terminology. Instead, the interviewees expressed the need for a simplified explanation of the subject of the material (46 %), illustration with specific examples (32 %), integration of the message with social platforms, which naturally updates the infotainment toolkit (16 %). Based on the expectations of the audience, promising recommendations for authors of media content on economic topics are proposed, including: the need to simplify professional concepts, avoid jargon, complex theories without explanation; visualization, as an irreplaceable criterion for interpretation and approximation of the subject of presentation; use of interactive digital platforms; initiation of educational columns, projects, thematic blogs, audio podcasts, selections, digital almanacs dedicated to economic literacy in the media; activities in social networks, systematic educational work in the format of infographics, Stories, Reels; stimulating critical thinking of your audience; use of the principle of convergence of interests, localization of global problems; polyphony of feedback possibilities. An educational infographic has been developed to explain certain aspects of the financial and economic sector that users encounter in everyday life.

Impact of the level of transport industry development on the welfare of the population

The article presents an assessment of the impact of the level of development of the transport industry on the welfare of the population. The main objective of the study is to determine the satisfaction of the population with transportation services within the geographic area under consideration. Transportation services are one of the indicators influencing the general level of welfare of the population. The generalizations of views of scientists of different periods of life on the concepts of welfare determination are given, the highlighted change of focus in the study of welfare - from public to individual, which changed together with the evolution of the place and role of man in the economy - from a resource material, subject of labor supply, to an agent of innovative opinion and a factor of change. The interrelation of conceptual notions “welfare” and “economic growth” is defined. The role and importance of the transport industry in the system of industries of the country is noted. In the process of research the method of sociological survey of respondents was applied, which allowed to determine the “bottlenecks” in obtaining transportation services. Thus, the presence of shortcomings significantly reduces the level of well-being of the population as a whole. The general directions of sustainable development of the country and regions, improving the welfare of the population from the position of availability of transportation services are presented

STUDY ON THE USE OF AGRICULTURAL LAND IN THE NORTH-WEST DEVELOPMENT REGION OF ROMANIA BASED ON THE SOCIOLOGICAL SURVEY

The paper aims to present the situation of agricultural lands and the effects of their management on the sustainable development of agriculture in the North-West Development Region of Romania, at the level of 2023. The study is based on data taken through the sociological survey method based on a questionnaire, of a number of 276 respondents. The collected data were interpreted for the following indicators: the type of agriculture practiced, agricultural techniques applied, the involvement of agricultural farms in associative forms, the surface of agricultural land, irrigation of agricultural land, fragmentation of agricultural land, types of crops and the use of modern technologies for a digital agriculture. After analysing the data, it is observed that a predominantly conventional and mixed agriculture is practiced, using an average of 150 hectares per farm. Due to the large presence of arable land, the main crops are field crops, represented by cereals and fodder plants. Permanent crops represented in particular by permanent meadows are owned by the majority of farmers (87.3%), and horticultural crops are present in only 27.17% of farms. Modern technologies have a high potential in the development of the region and must be exploited more in the future.

TOURISM AND TOURIST PERCEPTION IN ARIEȘENI COMMUNE, ROMANIA

The present work represents an analysis of tourism in Arieșeni commune, through the lens of existing tourist resources and accommodation infrastructure, to which is added the assessment of the perception of residents and tourists regarding what constitutes tourism in a tourist resort of local interest, Arieșeni. To capture the tourist phenomenon, bibliographic sources (both related to the resort and of a general nature) were used and consulted, supplemented by field trips to "validate" the bibliographic information obtained. The tourist's perception was obtained through the sociological survey method, based on the questionnaire. Tourism in Arieșeni commune is based on the existing tourist resources, especially the natural ones; even though human resources are equally significant but less exploited. The perception of the surveyed people on tourism in the resort is a positive one, but through the interpretation of the questionnaire, the aspects that could be improved are also identified.

Integral Approach in Discourse Studies (Voice Messaging Study)

Introduction. The article considers the issue of integral approach towards the study of a new form of discourse – voice message (VM), which possesses its social and communicative features. The topic is of particular interest to linguists and humanity studies’ scientists, since an efficient interdisciplinary approach in research is an actual issue. The nature of voice messaging is at the intersection of the interests of sociology, cognitive science, axiology and linguistics, so the use of the integral approach allows us to fully study this discursive phenomenon. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that the integral approach in discourse studies has been poorly studied, and in the absence of deep studies of the voice messaging.Methodology and sources. To study the voice messaging in line with integral approach, a linguistic modeling method is used to create the integral model based on K. Wilber’s idea of AQAL (all quadrants all levels). Discursive analysis and the sociological survey method are used to describe the nature of the voice message. Using the categorical method of “formal- logical definition of the concept”, a definition of a voice message is given.Results and discussion. The use of the integral approach made it possible to create an integral model of voice communication, consisting of 4 sectors: social, cognitive, cultural and linguistic. Each sector presents a series of qualitative findings that help determine the place and role of this communicative phenomenon in the modern paradigm.Conclusion. The social sector presents the VM as a popular form of communication among people of different ages, genders and occupations, compensating for the shortcomings of modern live communication due to the dynamism of life. From the point of view of cultural studies, the communication of the VM suggests that the modern Russian person treats time as an exhaustible valuable resource; Russian-speaking culture becomes individualistic and focuses on the speaker; society values spirituality and the ability to reflect. The daily communication via VM consists of the genre repertoire, which has a high degree of emotionality: explanation, story, heart-to-heart conversation, expression of empathy, request, apology and gratitude. The cognitive sector has given knowledge about the most common emotions in the VM – joy, sadness and surprise.

Determination of risks for business entities in the sphere of manufacturing medicines in military conditions in Ukraine

The aim: determination of risks for business entities in the field of production of medicinal products under the conditions of martial law in Ukraine.
 Materials and methods. The research materials are the results of a sociological survey in the form of a questionnaire among representatives of the senior management heads of structural units related to the environmental component of business entities' activities in the pharmaceutical production field. Method of sociological survey was used to collect primary information. A questionnaire was conducted, and respondent’s answers were registered using google-forms. The method of comparative analysis and generalization of statistical data was used to process the results.
 Results. The study identified, analyzed, and assessed risks for business entities in producing medicinal products under martial law in Ukraine. 
 Significant risks of the destruction of infrastructure and the occurrence of man-made disasters have been identified. Thus, 10 % of pharmaceutical enterprises received critical damage, which makes it impossible to operate the enterprise until the destructive consequences are eliminated; another 15 % received some damage, but the company's activities are carried out. More than 75 % of enterprises can fully comply with the current licensing conditions (LC) for producing and selling medicinal products under martial law.
 How critical risks were assessed: supply of raw materials and materials (logistics problems) (60 %); decrease in demand for the company's products (45 %); termination of gas supply (45 %); power outage (40 %); inflation, rising prices of raw materials and energy resources (35 %); termination of communications (35 %); difficulties in purchasing equipment, consumables, devices (30 %); termination of water supply (30 %); lack of competent personnel (30 %).
 In the zone of critical risk at this stage remains the ability and willingness of enterprises to work following the plans of the state environmental policy following the Association Agreement between the EU countries and Ukraine. Respondents admit that the company lacks resources to comply with all requirements (20 %), that environmental aspects of activity are currently irrelevant (25 %), and that there are not enough competent specialists to implement the environmental policy and support the relevant procedures (25 %); that there is not enough informational support from the State (30 %).
 Conclusions. In fact, 30 % of pharmaceutical enterprises are located in regions that are currently included in the List of territories where hostilities are (were) being waged or temporarily occupied. In general, Ukrainian business entities in the field of pharmaceutical production remain in the zone of uncertainty and significant risk of man-made disasters, non-fulfilment of requirements regarding production conditions, technological processes and constant quality control of production, non-fulfilment of environmental safety of production due to the direct threat of destruction of infrastructure and supply chains, due to the threat of termination of reliable supply of electricity, gas, water, resources, as well as due to high migration of qualified personnel.
 Considering the current state of the economy and the environmental consequences of the war, particularly man-made disasters, the implementation of plans to comply with the state environmental policy and the fulfilment of some requirements of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine is at risk.
 In the long term, careful scientifically based planning of the rehabilitation program of the pharmaceutical sector is needed, taking into account the risks of pharmaceutical pollution and the adverse impact of the pharmaceutical industry on the natural environment, in particular through the implementation of environmental management systems (EMS) as part of the overall management system of the enterprise to manage environmental aspects; fulfilment of mandatory legal requirements and voluntary obligations following the goals and environmental policy of the enterprise; and to address issues related to risks and opportunities, especially concerning emergency preparedness and emergency response.

The Value of Indicators of the Cognitive Sphere in the Professional and Applied Training of Military Officers

The high psychophysical requirements for the professional and physiological qualities of servicemen confirm the combat experience gained by the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the war with russia. The Purpose of the Work was to study the importance of cognitive qualities in the structure of professional training of military personnel. Research Methodology. The work uses theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodical literature, the method of sociological survey (questionnaire), methods of mathematical statistics. 155 participants of advanced training courses and 29 physical training and sports instructors were involved in the experiment. An expert assessment of the importance of cognitive indicators in the professional and applied training of military personnel was carried out. A comparative analysis of the answers of physical training and sports instructors and participants of professional development courses was carried out. Research Results. The most important cognitive qualities, according to the instructors, are logical thinking (4,69 ± 0,11 points), long-term memory (4,66 ± 0,11 points), concentration of attention (4,62 ± 0,13 points), stability and the ability to switch attention (4,59 ± 0,13 points). Participants of professional development courses believe that the most important qualities are logical thinking (4,34 ± 0,07 points), persistence (4,32 ± 0,07 points) and concentration of attention (4,32 ± 0,07 points). Conclusions. Based on the assessment of the importance of the cognitive qualities of military personnel, it was established that the indicators of memory, attention, thinking and imagination are important for their professional activity. Logical thinking, long-term memory, concentration and stability of attention are among the most important for the professional and applied activities of military personnel. Statistically significant differences (p < 0,05) between respondents’ answers were found regarding such indicators as long-term memory, concentration of attention, switching of attention and logical thinking.

An image that arises based on people's memory is influenced by the history and culture of the people in a city. Palembang is one of the historical cities in Indonesia with the oldest trading system in Indonesia since ancient times known as the Venice city of the east. The formation of the image of a city is influenced by the physical elements of urban space. However, the development of the physical elements of Palembang City has never been known. Based on that, this study aims to determine the physical elements of Palembang City through physical objects in Palembang City. The scope of discussion of this study is in the form of determining the physical elements of Palembang City through Kevin Lynch's theory and public perception. The study will be conducted using a descriptive method with an exploratory Grounded Theory qualitative approach. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling techniques and data collection of physical objects through sociological survey methods. The study found that the most influential constituent elements are preceded by nodes, landmarks, districts, paths and edges. The forming element of Palembang City is a physical object that is high in size and can be seen by the public from all corners of the city and is the center of community activity. The elements forming this city can be a consideration in determining the image of Palembang City.

INNOVATIVE BALLETS IN THEATERS OF WESTERN EUROPE: STAGE ACTION AS A PLAY OF MEANINGS

The article is devoted to the actual problem of the «play of meanings» in the symbolic direction in modern choreography, presented in the theaters’ stagingin Western Europe. The research goal is to identify the modern balletfeatures, which actively uses innovative methods. The study objectives are to collect and analyze the opinions of art experts and critics on the issues of modern ballet in Western European theater productions. The analysis period was chosen for the three years 2020-2022.The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes the methods of the general scientific group (analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction), as well as a number of special methods: content analysis of scientific literature on the research topic; sociological survey method; as well as the method of statistical analysis. The survey results were analyzed using the Neural Designer program (a tool for advanced statistical analytics) and translated into a graphical diagram format for clarity of perception.Answers in 60 questionnaires were evaluated by the average score for each analysis criterion, which made it possible to bring all the calculations to a 10-point scale. Based on the results of the study, the article author concluded the following: in modern productions, symbolism manifests itself as the dominance of «body language» over musical informativeness, over stage design. The action development takes place within the classical framework, but with the use of a postmodern concept regarding the dancechoreography.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LEVEL OF PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH AND THE CONSUMPTION OF PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCES

The existing system of primary prevention of the spread of drug addiction is based on informing the population about the inevitable negative consequences of the use of psychoactive substances and (to a lesser extent) the basics of safe behavior that prevents involvement in the consumption of psychoactive substances (surfactants). In this article, a study was conducted on the relationship between the level of psychological health and the consumption of psychoactive substances. The following psychological factors – goals are defined, dividing them into a constructive vector and a destructive vector: factors of basic trustdistrust, factors of autonomy – dependence, confidence factor – doubts (guilt, shame), initiative factor – feelings of inferiority, stiffness, diligence factor – avoiding loads and difficulties, responsibility – irresponsibility factor, factor of sociability – closeness. The study was conducted in three major cities using a sociological survey method. In general, 623 respondents aged 14-17 years, who are students of secondary educational institutions, took part in the study. The data obtained suggest that the higher the level of psychological health development of an individual student, the lower the probability that he/she will start using alcohol or drugs
