SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHERS IN GERMANY

The structural dynamics of socio-economic life in most countries of the world creates new requirements for the organization of the educational process of future teachers. In this context, the analysis of the structure, content and organizational features of the system of professional teacher training in European countries is of great importance for the higher education environment of Ukraine. The study is devoted to the analysis of the characteristic features of professional training of future foreign language teachers in Germany. Research methodology. The study used logical-semantic, structural-logical and system-functional methods. Scientific novelty. The functionality of the higher education system in the professional training of future foreign language teachers is determined. It has been established that in Germany, professional competence is acquired by potential teachers in different types of educational institutions, including general higher education schools, universities, higher pedagogical schools and specialized colleges. It is substantiated that the studied training system in Germany is characterized by certain specifics. Attention is focused on the potential of modern information technologies in the process of professional training of foreign language teachers, innovative possibilities of digital optimization of the studied educational process in the context of Germany are highlighted. The article describes trends in the field of improving the content of education at universities, which demonstrate a shift away from narrow specialization and the revival of compulsory training for students of all specialties. Conclusions. It has been established that the active implementation of the experience of leading European countries in the system of professional higher education in Ukraine necessitates systematic professional development of the scientific and pedagogical staff of higher education institutions of Ukraine. It is proved that in the process of standardizing the system of professional training of foreign language teachers in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna Process, a special role is given to the awareness of the optimal structure, content, organizational paradigm of the higher education environment of European countries.

Transport statutes in the system of sources of law of Ukraine

The article is devoted to the issues of transport statutes as sources of transport law of Ukraine, their validity and ability to effectively regulate social relations in the field of railway, road, and inland water transport, taking into account the changes that have occurred in social, political and socio-economic life over the past time on the restoration of Ukraine’s independence in 1991. The author analyzes the formal preservation of the validity of the relevant legislative acts of the Soviet era, taking into account the normative legal acts adopted in 1991 on a legal succession of Ukraine. The author emphasizes that from a formal and legal point of view, the transport statutes of the Soviet era remain valid, however, due to the contradiction of a significant part of their norms with the legislation adopted later, these normative legal acts are increasingly losing their legal influence on social legal relations and are subject to the action of such a phenomenon as “forgetting the rules of law”. At the same time, it was noted that proposals to abandon transport statutes in favor of a cumbersome codification of transport law norms (by raising the norms of statutes to the level of law) are irrational since an overly detailed Transport Code of Ukraine or codes of laws in the fields of road, rail or inland water transport will not be simple in use and will not meet the technical and legal requirements to the law. As a result, the author concludes that transport statutes in general are necessary regulatory legal acts. Still, their current editions are to a large extent morally outdated and such that they urgently need a radical revision to bring them into line with the changed norms of the legislation of Ukraine and take into account the need for adaptation of the national legal system to the law of the European Union. Thus, the application of their current editions in practical activities should be carried out after a thorough legal examination for the relevance of certain provisions.

The Effectiveness of PT. Wijaya Inti Nusantara's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program in South Palangga District, South Konawe Regency on the Quality of Life of the Community

This study aims to determine the success and effectiveness of the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program carried out by PT. Wijaya Inti Nusantara in order to improve the quality of life of the surrounding community. This research uses a qualitative approach that focuses on qualitative descriptive methods. The informants in this study were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data in this study was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation, the data obtained was then analyzed qualitatively with an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The results of this study show that the results of the study show that the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program carried out by PT. Wijaya Inti Nusantara, South Palangga District (Mondoe Village, Pasi Village, and Wawowonua Village) both from social and environmental aspects have been successfully implemented. Meanwhile, regarding the effectiveness of the implementation of the program on the quality of life of the community in the assisted villages of PT. Wijaya Inti Nusantara has been effective, because it has succeeded in improving the socio-economic life of the community through empowerment programs sourced from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds of PT. Wijaya Inti Nusantara. However, the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program is also faced with several obstacles, including the availability of funds that will be used to carry out all forms of programs and the use of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds that are not in accordance with the substance of the use of the funds.

Role of Mangroves as Fishery Resource: A Systematic Review

Mangroves are valuable for their fishery resources, coastline stabilization abilities, water quality and clarity benefits, provision of habitat to economically profitable and ecologically important species, carbon sequestration services, and climate regulation capabilities. For centuries, mangroves have contributed significantly to the socioeconomic lives of coastal dwellers; especially in coastal fishery by providing nursery grounds for finfishes. Fishery resource services provided by mangrove ecosystem play an important role as the habitat, nursery ground, feeding ground, and spawning ground for various marine fish species. Despite their enormous socio-economic value and ecological significance, mangrove ecosystems are under severe threat such as large scale clearing, small scale harvesting and grazing, and industrial threats. The productivity of mangrove ecosystems has been linked to the well-being of valuable fisheries because of the role mangroves play as nursery habitat for a variety of marine and estuarine species. Many species of mangrove-related fish and crab have served the coastal communities as a natural, cheap and balanced nutritional source. Mangroves provide vital ecosystem services to coastal fishing communities through the enhancement of fisheries production. Due to their economic and ecologic significance, it is important to look to the future of these systems in the face of ‘fishery resource’ so that policy makers may act quickly to preserve and protect these ecosystems. Present review provides recent information on role of mangroves as fishery resource by studying the updated published literature and the threats faced by the mangroves. It is suggested that strategies should be prepared and rigorously implemented for the conservation and restoration of mangrove ecosystem.

The Nexus Between Food Production and Socioeconomic Livelihoods of Female-headed Households: Evidence from Uganda

This study was set out to examine the nexus between food production and socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households in Mbarara District, Southwestern Uganda. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey design with a quantitative study approach to data collection and analysis. A sample size of 186 respondents was selected randomly from 360 households in Mbarara district. In the survey, respondents were subjected to a questionnaire survey method of data collection. Data from the questionnaires was coded, entered into SPSS, and analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results show that there is a positive significant relationship between food production and socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households (r=.491, p<.01). The control variables of Age and level of education were found to contribute a statistically significant explanatory power of 3.4% in explaining socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households. The model results also show a significant relationship between food production and socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households (β= .378; p<05). The variables entered in the regression model explain an overall 28.4% (AdjR2 = .284) of the variance in socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households, implying that the remaining 71.6% is explained by factors not considered in this study. The study concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between food production and the socioeconomic livelihoods of female-headed households in the Mbarara district. Therefore, the study recommends that there is a need to advocate for women's empowerment to improve their status in decision-making at the family level.

Decolonizing Cameroon’s language policies: a critical assessment

Abstract Due to its colonial history and prevalent multilingualism, Cameroon is a country where language policies have profoundly impacted socioeconomic and political life. Cameroon has 273 local languages and two official languages, English and French. The two official languages have been a crystallization point for discontent and civil unrest, leading to secessionist sentiments and violence. In this paper, we assess Cameroon’s language policies, firstly by providing a brief historical and legal overview based in the literature. We then present a new decolonial analytical framework, building on but extending existing theoretical frameworks. Our new analysis shows that a transition to using indigenous languages in formal education and other domains is not necessary at present. However, we argue that such a transition will become unavoidable in future. We show that it will be practically possible to use a limited number of indigenous languages as mediums of instruction, building on existing bilingualisms in the country. We believe these languages should be chosen using rational criteria and we introduce an approximate assessment of which languages are easy to learn and teach, and for speakers of which other languages. The transition we foresee requires planning and preparation. A different approach to Cameroon’s languages may help in building national unity and healing national wounds in the areas of sociolinguistic power-sharing and interregional cohabitation. We expect that our approach also holds benefits for other African countries.

Developing Human Resources in the Era of Digital Transformation in Vietnam: Current Status and Solutions

Digital transformation is becoming an inevitable and powerful trend across all sectors of socio-economic life, contributing to the enhancement of business efficiency, government management, and the quality of life for the public. High-quality human resources with digital skills and adaptability to new technologies are crucial to the success of digital transformation. However, Vietnam is currently facing numerous challenges in developing IT human resources. This paper examines the current state of human resources in Vietnam’s digital transformation, discusses the solutions that have been and are being implemented, and proposes specific steps to develop high-quality human resources. The policies and training programs from the government, enterprises, and educational institutions are analyzed and evaluated. Finally, the paper provides recommendations on policies and long-term strategies to improve the quality and quantity of IT human resources, ensuring that Vietnam can seize opportunities from the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Psychosocial and biological pathways to aging : The role(s) of the behavioral and social sciences in geroscience.

While the biological hallmarks of aging are widely recognized as fundamental mechanisms of biological aging, more recently, there have been calls within geroscience to understand the aging process more comprehensively by adding aperspective of the social hallmarks of aging. Social and behavioral factors, such as socioeconomic status, life events or behavior and beliefs can alter the aging process per se and act in complex interactions with biological pathways. In addition, underlying biological pathways have been proposed for various psychosocial concepts, such as views on age and relationship quality. The aim of the present article is to provide narrative insights into theoretical and empirical developments between social and behavioral gerontology and geroscience or biogerontology. This article focuses on the potential of an interdisciplinary aging research but it also sets out the critical perspective that social gerontology provides.

Growth Dynamics and Export Potential of India's Poultry Sector: A Comprehensive Analysis

India ranks as the third largest egg producer and fifth largest producer of poultry meat globally. Commercial poultry farms accounts about eighty-five percent of countries' egg production, the remaining comes from household/backyard poultry. Poultry production plays a significant part in the socio-economic life of India's rural population. This research focused on growth trends, instability in egg and poultry meat production and export trend, instability and Markov chain model was used to identify the market share of importing countries and stable importers of Indian poultry products. The state wise analysis revealed that the Uttar Pradesh registered highest growth rate among the top ten egg producing states for the study period. The export of poultry products has positive growth. Oman and Maldives are reliable market partners for India’s poultry product over the period.

Exploring the intricacies of Pasteurella multocida dynamics in high-altitude livestock and its consequences for bovine health: A personal exploration of the yak paradox

Pasturella multocida (P. multocida), a gram-negative bacterium, has long been a focus of interest in animal health because of its capacity to cause different infections, including hemorrhagic septicemia. Yaks, primarily found in high-altitude environments, are among the several livestock animals affected by these bacteria. Yaks are essential to the socioeconomic life of the people who depend on them since they are adapted to the cold and hypoxic conditions of highland environments. Nevertheless, these terrains exhibit a greater incidence of P. multocida despite the severe environmental complications. This predominance has been linked to the possible attenuation of the yak's immunological responses in such circumstances and the evolution of some bacterial strains to favor survival in the respiratory passages of the animals. Moreover, these particular strains threaten other cattle populations that interact with yaks, which might result in unanticipated outbreaks in areas previously thought to be low risk. Considering these findings, designing and executing preventative and control strategies suited explicitly for these distinct biological environments is imperative. Through such strategies, yaks' health will be guaranteed, and a larger bovine population will be safeguarded against unanticipated epidemics. The current review provides thorough insights that were previously dispersed among several investigations. Its distinct method of connecting the ecology of yaks with the dynamics of infection offers substantial background information for further studies and livestock management plans.

Imapct of the insurance sector on socio-economic life in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Le développement économique d’une nation est une affaire de tout le monde, cependant, tout le monde n’est pas tenu de jouer un rôle partout, raison pour laquelle il existe un régulateur du secteur économique qui est le pouvoir exécutif. Sous cet aspect, il y a aussi un organe ayant comme prérogative exclusive de contrôler et de légiférer en bon nombre des domaines relatifs à la vie socio-économique de la République Démocratique du Congo qui est le pouvoir législatif. Quels sont les points forts et faibles des assurances sur la vie socio-économique en République Démocratique du Congo? Notre objet d’étude est examiner et analyser le secteur d’assurance en République Démocratique du Congo, consacrée par la loi n° 15/006 du 17 mars 2015 portant code des Assurances, après la libéralisation de ce secteur par la loi n° 08/007 du 07 juillet 2008, portant disposition générale relative à la privatisation et à la transformation des entreprises publiques en sociétés commerciales: la méthode exégétique et la technique légistique sont nos instruments du travail. Alih Fungsi Lahan Perkebunan PT Kapas Indah Indonesia dan Dampaknya terhadap Kehidupan Sosial Ekonomi Pendudukdi Desa Lalonggombu Kecamatan Lainea Kabupaten Konawe Selatan: 1998-2021

This article explains the conversion of PT Kapas Indah Indonesia's plantation land and its impact on the socio-economic life of Lalonggombu Village, Lainea District, South Konawe Regency 1998-2021. This research is agrarian history research using historical methods, according to Kuntowijoyo (2013:69), which are divided into topic selection, heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this research show that: (1) The Lalonggombu Village community took over the plantation land of PT. Kapas Indah Indonesia that,s located in Lainea District, South Konawe Regency, because of PT. Kapas Indah Indonesia, because it is seen as O sambu (customary rights in the form of wilderness) by the Tolaki tribal community. (2) PT. Kapas Indah Indonesia's land ownership process began with a lawsuit from the people of Lalonggombu Village, who owned customary land before the company cleared the land. The Land was originally a forest and a former residential area before the Dutch colonial era. The community inhabited it and was forcibly taken by the government without compromise or resistance from the land owners. (3) After the local community processes PT. Kapas Indah Indonesia land, the community's economy improved, people's health improved, people's homes started to look better, and the level of education increased from elementary school to university. From a social aspect, residents worked together to clean the garden and started to get to know the social gathering system until the community's social status increased.

THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO IMPROVE PUBLIC FINANCE ACCOUNTING

The financial sector, as we know, is the driving force of the global economy. Along with the digital boom in the 21st century, this sector has also undergone drastic changes. What we had to work with in the last century is now becoming impossible for the digital generation. Artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized all industries, and the field of finance and accounting is no exception. Thanks to advances in machine learning, data analysis and automation, artificial intelligence is ready to change the way financial transactions are conducted. From optimizing decision-making processes to rationalizing everyday tasks, the future of AI in finance and accounting is both promising and transformational. Contemporary digital technologies leveraging artificial intelligence and big data exert a substantial influence across various facets of socio-economic life. Despite this, the realm of public finance management remains relatively untouched by digitalization. Nevertheless, this domain holds immense potential for the integration of big data and artificial intelligence, given its reliance on vast quantities of data, including unstructured information. Surprisingly, there exists scant exploration within scientific literature regarding the processes, mechanisms, and ramifications of digital technologies on public finance management. The primary objective of this article is to anticipate the potential shifts within the public finance management system over the medium and long term, precipitated by the adoption of digital technologies. ЗЕМЕЛЬНІ ПРАВОПОРУШЕННЯ: РОЗМЕЖУВАННЯ КРИМІНАЛЬНОЇ, АДМІНІСТРАТИВНОЇ І ДИСЦИПЛІНАРНОЇ ВІДПОВІДАЛЬНОСТІ

The constitutional principles of a democratic and legal state guide the development of Ukraine in the direction of people’s rule and a legal state. Therefore, the subsystem of legal norms regulating homogeneous relations in the sphere of public and state maintenance of law and order acquires special importance for the materialization of formal and declarative norms about a democratic and legal state. Therefore, it is relevant to substantiate the need to separate the rules (norms) of public (public) order and disciplinary responsibility for their violation from the branches of administrative legislation into a separate branch according to the postulates of law. It is appropriate that the state regulation of behavior in public (public) places should be set out in the Code of Public Order. And the norms regulating responsibility for land, forest, air, etc. misdemeanors were transferred to the basic codes regulating legal relations in the relevant spheres of socio-economic life. At the same time, the primary task is to update and reform legislation based on the postulates and axioms of legal theories. The formation and development of civil society, organized into a democratic, social, legal state, in accordance with the principle of popular sovereignty, leads to changes in the very essence of delictological legal relations, a return to the postulates of legal theory (in the context of revived natural law). The separation of prescriptions and sanctioned customs of public order into an independent branch of law by including public rules regulating this order in its institutions forms a system of norms of public legal order. The proposed differentiation and systematization of legal responsibility is the basis for bringing the legal system into compliance with the axioms of the theory of law (jurisprudence) based on the postulates of Roman civil law. This will contribute to the improvement of both public order, in particular, and the development of civil society institutions, democracy, and the establishment of the rule of law in general. As well as the humanization of legal responsibility, the spread of educational and psychological measures of social (moral) responsibility, the strengthening of the discipline of social coexistence, the education of citizens’ self-discipline as a component of individual legal awareness. The transfer of norms regarding the responsibility for land offenses of private law officials and citizens to the basic land code will allow to systematize and separate the norms regarding the direct administrative responsibility of public law officials (state authorities, local self-government bodies) for illegal actions (inaction), land offenses in the field of management. INVESTIGATING THE PREVALENCE OF CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME IN OFFICE WORKERS

The widespread use of advanced technology and gadgets has led to numerous health problems, including wrist pain due to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). CTS is a common and costly issue among office workers. Although research indicates that CTS is not inherently related to work, it is a work-related neuropathy resulting from the compression of the median nerve due to repetitive stressful wrist postures, such as hyperextension or hyperflexion. Objective: This study aims to measure the prevalence of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) among office workers, considering computer usage and typing as risk factors, and to assess how job demands contribute to CTS at the workplace. Methods: A quantitative research model using a prospective survey design was employed. The study was conducted among office workers from the manufacturing and services industries in Punjab, Pakistan. A convenient sample of 280 office workers participated. Data were collected using the standardized Boston Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Questionnaire to evaluate the impact of CTS on activities of daily living (ADLs) and socioeconomic life. The study duration was six months. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software version 23.0. Results: The study found a comparatively high prevalence of work-related wrist and hand complaints, including clinically proven CTS, among youthful office employees in Pakistan. Regular discomfort while working significantly increased the likelihood of developing CTS. Extended periods of computer use without breaks also heightened the risk of wrist and hand symptoms. Conclusion: There is a significant prevalence of CTS among office workers in Pakistan linked to prolonged computer use and repetitive wrist postures. Effective interventions and ergonomic practices are essential to reduce the incidence and impact of CTS in the workplace.

On the Increase of Electricity Prices in the Territory of Non-Price Zones of the Far Eastern Federal District and Their Impact on Industry

The economy of the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia is characterized by a significant share of industrial production in the overall GRP structure. For this reason, an important factor affecting the industrial and investment development of the macroregion is the price of electricity supplied to industrial consumers. This article is devoted to the study of the dynamics of a significant increase in electricity prices in 2023 in Khabarovsky Krai, Amurskaya Oblast, Primorsky Krai, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, included in the territory of non-price zones of the wholesale electricity market, as well as factors influencing the identified price increases that affect the magnitude and dynamics of changes in regional GRPs, which emphasizes the theoretical and the applied relevance of the presented research. The authors review the role of the Far Eastern Federal District economy in the formation of the country's GRP, the role of the industrial sector in the development of the economy of the macroregion, the share of electricity consumption by industry in the GRP structure, which emphasizes the high importance of the energy factor in the economic development of the studied territories. The materials present the results of calculating the dynamics of changes in electricity demand in the federal districts of Russia for the period of 2008-2022. The authors conclude that such a significant increase in electricity prices for the supplied industry will lead to an even greater lag in the industrial potential of the macroregion not only from the whole world, but also from the rest of Russia, which will negatively affect the entire sphere of socio–economic life of the macroregion, which determines the need to review government measures in the field of tariff containment in the territories of the Far Eastern Federal District.

An Updated Data Portrait of Heterosexual, Gay/Lesbian, Bisexual, and Other Sexual Minorities in the United States

Sexual minorities are a rapidly growing population, with recent estimates showing a two-fold increase in the percentage of sexual minorities over the past decade. Working with relatively few measures to identify sexual minorities, social scientists have amassed an impressive amount of evidence on inequality by sexuality. Despite this remarkable work, I argue that it is important to take a step back analytically and re-assess sexual minorities from a descriptive standpoint. Using population-level data from the CDC’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, I provide unadjusted estimates of sociodemographic, socioeconomic, and family characteristics by sexual identity. Results reveal that sexual minorities are younger, are more racially diverse, and concentrate in different parts of the country than heterosexuals. Similarly, sexual minorities have remarkably different socioeconomic lives than heterosexuals, who enjoy higher annual household incomes, achieve higher educational attainment, and are more likely to be homeowners. Sexual minorities are also less likely to be married than heterosexuals. I conclude by highlighting that descriptive research can illuminate compositional differences between sexual minorities and heterosexuals; provide rationales for adjusting for certain characteristics that might confound relationships between sexual identity and numerous outcomes; and highlight potential explanatory mechanisms to make better sense of well-established findings regarding sexual minority disadvantage.

Drivers and Impacts of Internal Displacement to Kano City, Nigeria: An Empirical Study and Strategic Recommendations

The increasing rate of internal displacement in Nigeria has raised significant concerns regarding its impact on urban management. Forced migration is often seen as an outcome of unpalatable experience in migrants’ communities. This study aims to identify the factors driving mass internal migration to Kano and to explore the relationship between forced migration and the evolving socio-economic conditions in the city. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, including surveys with 1,000 respondents, interviews with 30 individuals, and six focus group discussions (FGDs). Discussion is anchored on Lee’s push-pull theory of migration. The analysis reveals that insurgency, banditry, communal conflicts over socio-economic space, and herders-farmers conflicts are major factors contributing to unprecedented internal displacement, with Kano emerging as a significant recipient of these migrants. Socio-economic life of Kano slums has been altered and migrants are exposed to various risks, including unemployment, hunger, disease, drug abuse and poor upbringing of the young ones. Uncertain future and danger looms ahead if proactive measures are not taken to address conflicts and insecurity in the northern Nigeria. The government should develop strategies to resolve these crises and facilitate the return of forced migrants to their communities, thereby mitigating the socio-economic disruptions in Kano.

The Socio-Economic Life of Coastal Fishing Communities in Kalar-Kalar Village, South Aru Subdistrict, Aru Islands Regency

Indonesia, as the largest archipelagic country in the world, boasts extraordinary marine resources, including over 8,500 fish species. Coastal fishing communities play a crucial role in the economy and the sustainability of marine ecology. This study focuses on the fishing community in Kalar-Kalar Village, Aru Islands Regency, where the majority of the population works as fishermen with limited education and dependence on traditional fishing gear. The aim of this study is to analyze the socio-economic conditions of coastal fishing communities using a comprehensive approach, including factors affecting the fishermen's welfare and adaptation strategies used to overcome economic and environmental challenges. The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Primary data were obtained through observations and in-depth interviews with various informants, while secondary data were collected from relevant documents, reports, and statistics. The results indicate that limited access to modern technology, education, and healthcare hinders the productivity and welfare of the fishing community. Conflicts between large and small fishermen over the dominance of fishing areas were also identified as a major issue. This study concludes that more effective government intervention, including assistance programs, guidance, and capacity building for fishermen, is necessary to improve their welfare
