The influence of tax service quality and tax socialization on individual taxpayer compliance in the regional tax office of the Riau Islands

This research investigates how taxpayer compliance at the Riau Islands Regional Tax Office is affected by two factors: the quality of tax services and tax socialization efforts. The researchers surveyed 116 individual taxpayers and analyzed their responses using regression analysis. The findings revealed that both factors positively influenced compliance levels. Specifically, each unit improvement in tax service quality led to a 0.227 unit increase in compliance, while each unit increase in tax socialization resulted in a 0.479 unit rise in compliance. Together, these two factors account for 34.9% of the variations in taxpayer compliance behavior. Based on these results, the study recommends enhancing both service quality and socialization activities to boost tax compliance in the region.

Penggunaan Aplikasi Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) Terhadap Transaksi Nasabah Pada PT. Pegadaian (PERSERO) UPC Ngrambe

The Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) application, launched by PT. Pegadaian in 2018, aims to facilitate customer transactions. Despite its potential, most customers at PT. Pegadaian UPC Ngrambe, who are predominantly elderly, do not understand or are uninterested in using the application. This study explores the impact of the PDS application on customer transactions and the level of assistance it provides. Using a quantitative research method and a questionnaire-based survey, 100 respondents were randomly selected. Data analysis conducted with SPSS version 29 revealed significant findings: the significance value (Sig.) of 0.006 is below 0.05, indicating a meaningful impact of application use on customer transactions. The t-test result (t count = 2.975 > 2.228) confirmed that application usage significantly influences customer transactions (X on Y). However, the effect size is relatively modest, contributing only 24% to the improvement of customer transactions, suggesting that other factors also play a role. This limited influence could be attributed to well-functioning traditional transactions and customers' limited digital literacy. The study recommends enhancing socialization efforts and providing targeted training, particularly for elderly users, to increase their understanding and usage of the PDS application, thereby maximizing its benefits for customer transactions.

Education Of Knowledge And Basic Life Support Training For Teenage Students

Individuals and groups, including the general public, are currently required to be able to provide immediate assistance when facing emergency conditions. To ensure assistance is provided according to proper procedures, it is necessary to offer training on Basic Life Support (BLS). Students of SMK Kesehatan Haji Sumatera Utara, who are teenagers with significant potential, are ideal candidates for such training. Although they are organized into a KKR Cadre Team or Youth Health Cadre group, they currently lack the necessary knowledge and need to be equipped with BLS skills. The purpose of this service is to enhance the knowledge and technological capabilities of students at SMK Kesehatan Haji Sumatera Utara regarding Basic Life Support in emergency cases. The method used includes interactive lectures, questions and answers, pre-tests, interventions, and post-tests. The results of the counseling and training showed a marked improvement in knowledge about Basic Life Support and an increase in the skills required to administer BLS. It is essential to carry out continuous counseling and socialization efforts within the school, particularly in the area of Basic Life Support

Mendekatkan Rumput Laut ke Masyarakat: Program Sosialisasi dan Pendidikan untuk Peningkatan Ekonomi Desa Ulidang, Majene

Ulidang Village, part of the Tameroddo Sub-district, has excellent potential in the fisheries and marine sector, although it still faces significant economic challenges. The potential of seaweed as a marine resource that has yet to be fully utilized is the focus of this activity. The main objective is to provide comprehensive counseling on the potential of seaweed, including cultivation methods, nutritional content, and business management aspects. This activity's implementation stage starts with planning, program implementation, and evaluation. The research results showed that socialization efforts, including explanations of seaweed potential, business management, and farming profit simulations, have provided the community with a deep understanding. The pretest and post-test evaluations illustrated the improvement in participants' understanding after the socialization activities. Thus, the development of seaweed farming in Ulidang Village can be a solution to improve community welfare, create jobs, and care for the marine environment. Strategic steps include strong partnerships, community empowerment, and adoption of innovations to ensure the sustainability of seaweed farming at the local and national levels.

This study investigates the influence of Accounting Knowledge and Education on the quality of MSME financial reports, focusing on the moderating role of SAK EMKM Socialization (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). Using survey data collected from MSME operators, the research reveals that accounting knowledge has a strong positive relationship with financial reporting quality. Education also plays a positive but weaker role, suggesting significant potential for improvement. The study finds that the socialization of SAK EMKM significantly improves the quality of MSME financial reports but does not moderate the relationship between either accounting knowledge or education and financial report quality. These findings suggest that education and accounting knowledge are fundamental in improving MSME financial reporting practices, while SAK EMKM socialization is more effective for MSMEs with limited financial literacy. This research highlights the need for tailored training programs and socialization efforts to address the specific needs of MSMEs, ensuring that all operators, regardless of educational background, can produce high-quality financial reports in line with established standards.

PENGARUH KESADARAN WAJIB PAJAK, SOSIALISASI PERPAJAKAN, DAN PROGRAM PEMUTIHAN PAJAK TERHADAP KEPATUHAN WAJIB PAJAK KENDARAAN BERMOTOR

The regional revenue heavily relies on vehicle taxes, playing a crucial role as one of the main pillars in generating significant income to support local development. Therefore, optimizing state revenue becomes crucial to achieve the government's expected targets. This research aims to examine the effects of taxpayer awareness, tax socialization efforts, and tax amnesty programs on the compliance level of vehicle taxpayers. The population focused on in this study consists of vehicle taxpayers registered at the SAMSAT office in Bogor City. Data collection utilized the simple random sampling method and Slovin's formula to obtain a sample size of 400 respondents. The type of data used is primary data analyzed through the use of a questionnaire with the assistance of SPSS software version 26, and the results were analyzed using a multiple linear regression analysis approach. The findings of this research prove that taxpayer awareness, tax socialization, and tax amnesty programs have a positive impact at a significance level of 5% (X1= 0.266, X2= 0.306, and X3= 0.318).

Navigating Implementation Challenges of Stunting Solutions in Indonesia's Health Programs

General Background: Indonesia faces a significant public health issue with fifth-highest stunting prevalence among toddlers, especially in East Java, and local efforts are being implemented to reduce rates. Specific Background: Klurak village government's stunting prevention programs, involving Posyandu cadres and midwives, face challenges due to communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure, as per Edward III's implementation theory. Knowledge Gap: While stunting programs are in place, the extent to which these programs effectively address local needs and barriers, particularly through an administrative lens, remains underexplored. Aims: This study aims to analyze the implementation of stunting prevention programs in Klurak Village using Edward III’s four-indicator framework and identify the key sectors hindering or supporting effective implementation. Results: Findings suggest that the stunting prevention program is moderately effective. Communication among village stakeholders is integrated but limited by budget constraints, while resources, particularly in human capacity and infrastructure, are inadequate. Despite positive dispositions among health workers, bureaucratic inefficiencies hinder maximum implementation. Novelty: The study provides a rare, localized analysis of stunting prevention through a public administration framework, offering practical insights into grassroots-level health governance in Indonesia. IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM EDUTECHNO PRENEURSHIP ISLAMI DI SMK NEGERI 3 LHOKSEUMAWE: PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER DAN PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI PESERTA DIDIK

This study aims to understand the implementation of the Islamic Edutechno Preneurship Curriculum at SMK Negeri 3 Lhokseumawe and its impact on character building and skill enhancement of students. Using qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, the research involved various stakeholders at the school. Results show that SMK Negeri 3 Lhokseumawe has established a School Development Team (TPS) to implement strategic steps in applying this curriculum. Programs such as Mandatory Scouting (Wapra) and Islamic Spirituality (Rohis) are integral to these efforts, focusing on the development of Islamic character and the integration of noble moral values in every lesson. Teacher competency is enhanced through In-House Training and Workshops, aiding in the development of both pedagogical and professional skills. The curriculum's implementation is also supported by the Aceh Education Department's socialization efforts. However, challenges remain, such as insufficient cooperation among teachers in enforcing discipline and the lack of textbooks integrated with the new curriculum. Overall, the implementation of the Islamic Edutechno Preneurship Curriculum at SMK Negeri 3 Lhokseumawe shows positive development. This curriculum has great potential to improve students' skills and Islamic character, preparing them for future challenges. This study provides valuable insights for the development of character-based and technopreneurship curricula in vocational education settings.

Analisis Pengelolaan Alokasi Dana Desa dalam Pembangunan Infrastruktur di Desa Pangkoh Sari, Kecamatan Pandih Batu Kabupaten Pulang Pisau

This study aims to determine, analyze, and describe the extent to which the management of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in Pangkoh Sari Village is conducted properly and in accordance with the applicable regulations, while also ensuring that the villagers understand its allocation and use. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in Pangkoh Sari Village. Data analysis includes procedures for data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The findings indicate that the ADD in Pangkoh Sari Village has not been fully utilized for infrastructure development, instead focusing on improving social welfare, community services, and local income. However, one of the main obstacles identified is the lack of community awareness and participation in bureaucratic socialization efforts, leading to uneven development across the village. The study emphasizes the importance of communication and collaboration between the village government and the community to ensure more transparent and targeted use of the ADD. Improving socialization and community participation could help address these obstacles.

Overcoming Infrastructure Challenges to Unlock Food Security in Rural Indonesia

General Background: Food security is a critical issue in rural areas, especially in developing countries, where sustainable agricultural practices and government support play a vital role in ensuring a stable food supply. Specific Background: In Sumorame Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency, the local government has implemented a food security program aimed at improving agricultural productivity and community welfare. Knowledge Gap: Despite the program's significance, little is known about the specific factors influencing its success, particularly in the context of rural governance and local agricultural conditions. Aims: This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the food security program in Sumorame Village, focusing on four key factors: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Results: The findings reveal that communication between the village government, farmers, and community groups has been effective through targeted socialization efforts. Human resources are competent, with strong collaboration among farmer groups. Financial resources have been allocated in accordance with regulations, but physical infrastructure remains inadequate due to limited agricultural land, unfavorable geographical conditions, and suboptimal hydroponic yields. Disposition among stakeholders is positive, with high commitment observed. The bureaucratic structure has been functioning in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Legal Awareness of Citizens in Preventing Forest and Land Fires (Karhutla) in South Kalimantan Province

This article is based on an empirical study of forest and land fires in South Kalimantan Province. These fires frequently occur and persist, especially during drought seasons. The main causes are twofold: first, the expansion of agricultural land through clearing new areas; and second, the negligence of residents during hot, dry seasons, such as discarding cigarette butts carelessly without considering the potential consequences. The root issue behind these fires is the low level of legal awareness among citizens. This lack of awareness is due to the low educational levels of residents living near fire-prone areas, as well as insufficient and poorly structured government-led socialization efforts. Additionally, the economic conditions of these communities, where many are low-income farmers, contribute to their reliance on traditional, quick, and cost-effective methods like burning to manage land for agriculture. This practice not only harms the environment but also impacts public health. Therefore, effective measures to address forest and land fires require a dual approach from the authorities: enhancing legal awareness through improved socialization efforts and addressing the economic challenges faced by residents in fire-affected areas.

Online Shop Business Owners’ Perception Toward Zakat in Langsa City

In the perspective of Islamic law, ideally, every income that has reached the threshold should be subject to a certain amount of zakat. In reality, many online entrepreneurs in Kota Langsa are indifferent to this matter, causing academic concern behind the lack of awareness in paying zakat. This article falls under field research with a qualitative approach. The methodology used is descriptive analysis study. Primary data sources include in-depth interviews with online business operators in Kota Langsa. Secondary data sources comprise scholarly articles published within the last five years. The research concludes that the lack of awareness stems from confusion among the public regarding the amount and procedures of zakat in online trade that must be fulfilled. Therefore, governmental socialization efforts are needed to stimulate public interest in its distribution.

Evaluation of Sector 6 Citarum Harum's Social Media for Waste Management

The study aims to analyze the utilization of information media platforms by the Citarum Harum Task Force Sector 6 in waste management endeavors within the Baleendah District, Bandung Regency. The platforms under scrutiny include Instagram (@guardian_sektor6), YouTube (guardian_citarum), and TikTok (guardian_citarum). Employing a qualitative approach, the study integrates interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. Findings underscore the imperative of developing an official website to enhance information dissemination and organization. Notably, while the Instagram account @guardian_sektor6 demonstrates consistent posting and visually appealing content, shortcomings include inconsistent hashtag usage and limited content diversity. Similarly, the YouTube channel guardian_citarum maintains posting consistency but lacks optimization in SEO utilization and incomplete video descriptions. Meanwhile, TikTok account guardian_citarum, though active and visually engaging, underutilizes features such as hashtags and User-Generated Content. Consequently, the research output comprises a wireframe layout design for the official website of the Citarum Harum Task Force Sector 6. It is envisaged that this wireframe design will amplify the effectiveness of information delivery and waste management socialization efforts in the areas overseen by the Citarum Harum Task Force Sector 6.

This study explores the development strategy for e-government preparation through Simple Applications at the Sidoarjo Regency Community and Village Empowerment Service in East Java, Indonesia. Using qualitative descriptive methods, data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation from key personnel involved in managing the Simple Application. Findings highlight successful implementation alongside challenges such as a lack of IT expertise among staff and inadequate infrastructure for effective socialization efforts. These obstacles necessitate improvements in human resources and infrastructure to sustain and expand e-government benefits across the region, promoting enhanced governmental transparency and service delivery. Implementation of Perkasal Policy Number 38 of 2021 Regarding the Acceptance of Cadets and Cadets of the AL Navy Academy in a Gender Perspective

This research will examine the implementation of Policy Perkasal Number 38 of 2021 regarding the Admission of Cadets at the Indonesian Navy Academy (Akademi TNI AL) from a gender perspective. It will also explore the challenges faced in the implementation and efforts to overcome these challenges within the framework of Policy Perkasal Number 38 of 2021. The research will focus on the selection process of male and female cadets according to the mentioned policy. The research methodology employed in this study is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and literature reviews. The theoretical framework used in this research is the policy implementation theory according to Mazmanian and Paul A. Sabatier. The findings of the research indicate that the implementation of this policy has not yet achieved gender equality and justice. Technical constraints and societal views that do not support equality remain significant challenges. The policy lacks clear objectives to prevent gender discrimination. Socio-economic conditions in Indonesia also influence the acceptance of male and female cadets. Factors affecting policy implementation involve ambiguity in gender-based quotas, lack of socialization, limited involvement of female soldiers in structural positions, high aspirations to enter non-military higher education institutions, decreasing interest in becoming civil servants, minimal facilities, heavy curriculum burdens, and a shortage of human resources. Recommendations include establishing clear gender-based admission quotas, intensifying socialization efforts related to Policy Perkasal Number 38 of 2021, increasing the involvement of female soldiers in structural positions, adjusting the military education concept to the social context of women, and improving training facilities for prospective Indonesian Navy soldiers.

Pandemic Hinders First-Time Voter Engagement in Indonesia

This study examines the role of the General Election Commission (KPU) in boosting first-time voter participation in Seketi Village, Balongbendo District, Sidoarjo. Using qualitative methods, data were collected via interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The KPU's roles as Regulator and Dynamistator were effectively implemented, but their roles as Catalyst and Facilitator were less successful. Socialization efforts and provided facilities were hindered by the pandemic and low engagement from first-time voters, leading to decreased voter participation. The findings highlight the need for improved communication strategies and resource utilization to enhance first-time voter engagement. Penguatan Pengetahuan Kesiapsiagaan Terhadap Bahaya Bencana Gempa Bumi dan Tsunami bagi Siswa SMAN I Lhoknga, Kabupaten Aceh Besar

Earthquakes and tsunamis are natural disasters that can occur anywhere and anytime. Knowledge about the dangers of natural disasters needs to be imparted to the community so that they can understand the types and levels of danger that may arise. This is necessary to enhance the community's capacity to deal with disasters. Reflecting on the occurrence of the 2004 Aceh Earthquake and Tsunami, which claimed hundreds of thousands of lives and caused hundreds of millions of US dollars in losses, increasing knowledge and understanding of disaster hazards needs to be continuously pursued. The repetition of these activities aligns the history of disaster events passed down through generations with the advancements in scientific knowledge and technological progress. Increasing knowledge of earthquake and tsunami hazards can be achieved, in part, through socialization efforts. One appropriate segment of society to receive reinforcement of knowledge through socialization activities is high school students, particularly the students of SMAN 1 Lhoknga, Aceh Besar Regency. Students are the younger generation whose roles can be agents of change within the wider community. Therefore, their role in the realm of disaster management needs to be supported by a good and competent capacity enhancement. Thus, students of SMAN 1 Lhoknga can understand the factors causing and the impacts arising from earthquake and tsunami disasters and actively participate in such events.

The Society’s Effort in Increasing the Economy Through the Palm Oil Waste

This research was implemented in Sukamaju Village, Sub regency of Singingi Hilir, Regency of Kuantan Singingi to know the potential of palm oil waste that is used by the society of Sukamaju Village as the manure and to describe the society effort of Sukamaju Village in using the potential of palm oil waste for increasing the economy level and decreasing the bad environment impact because of the palm oil waste. For obtaining the accurate data, the method of descriptive qualitative research is used by collecting the data, using the deep interview technique, direct observation and documentation. The analyze result shows that there is a quiet big waste potential in Sukamaju Village then processed to be the valuable manure. Moreover, this manure manufacture process is obtained from the palm oil waste from two big factories namely PT. Surya Agro Reksa and PT. Agrolestari. The process of waste production of palm oil includes the manufacture from the waste ponds, where the first pond of waste still has the high level of acidity so that it has not been able to be used yet. So the level of middle pond of waste water has been able to be channeled to the agriculture for make the plant fertile, and in the last level of solid waste is used as the natural manure of the land fertilizer. The analyze result shows that the waste of the palm oil can increase the fertility of land and plant, so it decreases the budget outcome of chemical manure. The socialization effort is needed to pressure massively for the information distributing connected the right waste processing.

E-Government Boosts Administrative Efficiency in Rural Indonesia

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Plavon Dukcapil website in enhancing population administration in the Mining Village government. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research focuses on four indicators: program target accuracy, socialization, objectives, and monitoring. Results show that while the website effectively serves its intended community, socialization efforts are lacking, leading to limited awareness among less tech-savvy residents. Despite human resource challenges, the website meets its objective of expediting administrative processes. However, formal monitoring is absent. The findings suggest a need for better socialization, continuous monitoring, and enhanced training for human resources to optimize e-government services at the village level.
