The article analyzes the main approaches to the study of social capital as an employment resource. The object of the study is social capital as a social resource for graduate employment in a seamless education environment. The subject of the study is the impact of the social capital of university graduates on their employment. In the course of the research, sociological methods were used, in particular, questionnaires. According to the respondents who participated in them, the main parameters of social capital that affect employment after graduation include: the presence of a higher education diploma, the personal qualities of a graduate, the presence of social ties and work experience. The results of the study showed that graduates take into account the influence of social capital parameters on employment after graduation, but not all form their social capital in the learning process. This problem, as the study showed, can be solved by using seamless education. The study scientifically proves that seamless education allows to eliminate the boundaries between formal and non-formal education and create a continuous learning environment, which, in turn, is a key element in the formation of social capital and can be considered as an effective resource for graduate employment.
