Enhancing Public Welfare Functions with Deep Learning Technology: A Quantitative Analysis of Strengthening Citizen Rights Protection in China

The rapid advancement of deep learning (DL) technology has profoundly impacted numerous sectors, particularly public welfare services, which encompass healthcare, social security, and legal rights protection. In China, where a vast population creates challenges in resource allocation and equitable service distribution, the integration of DL technologies offers promising solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and fairness in public welfare functions. This paper explores how DL can be applied to improve these functions, with a specific focus on enhancing the protection of citizen rights. Through case studies and quantitative data analysis, this research examines how DL technologies can be effectively deployed in the healthcare, social security, and legal sectors, providing a roadmap for modernizing public services and ensuring that citizen rights are safeguarded more comprehensively. Five key references are used to support the analysis of DL’s role in transforming these critical areas of governance, aiming to present practical and actionable insights for policymakers and technology developers.

Determination of Priority Sectors in Economic Development in Maluku Province

This research aims to determine priority sectors in formulating economic development policies in Maluku Province. The methods used in this research are Location Quotient (LQ), Shift Share (SS), and Klassen Typology. The research results show that based on the three methods above, the priority sectors in economic development in Maluku Province are sectors that have superiority, and competitiveness and are among advanced and rapidly developing sectors (prime sectors). These sectors are the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries sectors, the Wholesale and Retail Trade sector, Car and Motorcycle Repairs, the Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security sectors, and the Education Services sector. This sector is a sector that absorbs a lot of workers. Apart from that, the primary sector is a sector that plays an important role in economic development in Maluku Province. The contribution of the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors indirectly shows that the economic structure of Maluku province is still supported by the traditional economy. Then, geographically, the vast area of Maluku Province, the majority of which is water areas; however, this sub-sector has yet to become the main support for the economy of Maluku Province. For this reason, the Maluku provincial government should prioritize the superior sectors and commodities it owns while still paying attention to other industries and commodities according to their potential and development opportunities in order to encourage the growth of Maluku Province's GRDP for future regional development. Budget impact and cost per responder analysis of upadacitinib for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis from the perspective of the social security and the private sector in Argentina

ABSTRACT Objectives Our study assessed the budget impact and cost per responder of upadacitinib15mg and 30 mg for moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (MS-AD) treatment from social security and private health sector perspective in Argentina. Methods A budget impact model was adapted to depict clinical and economic aspects of treatment over a 5-years horizon time. Scenario analyses and deterministic sensitivity analyses were performed. A 16-weeks cost per responder model was adapted based on a network meta-analysis. Primary analyses assessed the cost per Eczema Area and Severity Index 50, 75 and 90 at week 16. Results The inclusion of upadacitinib 15 mg and 30 mg in the biological treatment mix for MS-AD was associated with an average budget saving per-member per-month ofU$S0.062 (social security) and U$S0.064 (private sector). Percentage of patients with access to treatment, acquisition cost of upadacitinib 30 mg and prevalence of MS-AD were the most influential parameters in the budget impact results. At week 16, upadacitinib 30 mg was associated with the lowest number needed to treat and the lowest cost per responder for all outcomes. Conclusion The introduction of upadacitinib in MS-AD treatment was associated with modest savings for the social security and private payer budget in Argentina.

Analisis Sektor Basis di Kabupaten Sampang

In this study, the aim was to find out the base sector of Sampang Regency on Madura Island, through the GRDP data of Sampang Regency. The analysis used uses several analyzes, namely analysis of Location Quotion (LQ), Dynamic Local Quotion (DLQ), Shift-Share (SS), Growth Ratio Model (MRP). Based on the analysis conducted, it can be seen that several sectors in Sampang Regency have good potential, such as the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sector, Mining and Excavation, and the Compulsory Government, Defense & Social Security sectors. By knowing the sectors that have potential and those that are still lagging behind in Sampang Regency, it can become a material for the Sampang Regency Government to make policies toincrease the value of GDP and economic growth in Sampang Regency.

Budget Impact Analysis of Olaparib in Combination with Bevacizumab for Maintenance Therapy for Ovarian Cancer in Argentina.

To perform a budget impact analysis (BIA) of introducing olaparib as maintenance therapy in women who have BRCA mutations (BRCAm) with platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer (PSROC) in combination with bevacizumab in Argentina. A BIA model was used to analyse over a 5-year time horizon the change in the health system's budget following the adoption of olaparib as maintenance therapy in BRCAm patients with PSROC. The BIA for each year was estimated by comparing the cost difference between the current scenario (treatment with bevacizumab) and the new scenario (the addition of olaparib) for a third-party payer. The BIA is estimated at the national health system level, and by healthcare sectors in Argentina (public sector, social security and private sector). International and national epidemiological data were used to determine the target patient population. Clinical efficacy, safety outcomes and duration of treatments were obtained from the pivotal clinical study report. Relevant direct medical costs were obtained from public data in Argentina and expert consultation. All the costs are reported in US dollars as of October 2022 ($1 = 152.59 Argentine pesos). A scenario analysis assessed the full coverage of the homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) test in Argentina. In addition, one-way sensitivity analysis was conducted to evaluate the model robustness. For a third-party payer with a cohort of 1,000,000 women covered, the estimated target population was 2 individuals in year 1 and 6 individuals in year 5. The incorporation of olaparib, with a wholesale price per pack of $3176.32, was associated with a weighted average of the budget impact per member per month (PMPM) of $0.062 for the national health system, being above the estimated health system budget impact threshold ($0.0153). By healthcare sector, the results of budget impact PMPM for year 5 ranged between $0.08 (public sector) and $0.114 (private sector). For all perspectives, the variables that most influenced the budget impact was the incidence of ovarian cancer, the drug acquisition cost and the treatment duration. The introduction of olaparib for the treatment of BRCAm women with PSROC has a high budget impact for all three health systems in Argentina.

Analysis of Gowa Regency's Leading Economic Sectors

The purpose of this research is to analyze and find out what sectors are included in the base sector, changes and shifts in the economic sector and the classification of economic sector growth in Gowa Regency. The data analysis method is Location Quotient (LQ) analysis from secondary data which is time series data for the last 4 years (2018-2021) of the Central Bureau of Statistics South Sulawesi. The results of Location Quotient (LQ), Shift Share (SS), and Klassen Typology analysis show that in Gowa Regency the leading sectors before the Covid-19 pandemic (2012-2019) were the electricity and gas procurement sector; water supply, waste management and recycling sectors; and the real estate sector. Meanwhile, there were changes during the Covid-19 pandemic (2020-2021) where the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors; information and communication sector; and the government administration, defense, and compulsory social security sectors are the leading sectors in Gowa Regency. Based on the analysis, these sectors are base sectors (LQ>1), competitive sectors or have high competitiveness (positive Differential Shift), and include advanced and fast-growing sectors (quadrant I).

Analysis of Economic Sector Potential in East Kutai District

The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the economic potential of the base sector so that economic growth in East Kutai Regency can increase. Classification of economic sectors that have advantages and potential and can be developed to boost economic growth in East Kutai Regency. An overview of the pattern and structure of economic growth in East Kutai Regency. This research uses quantitative secondary data. The approach used is the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis tool to identify economic sectors that are the base sectors, Shift Share analysis to identify economic sectors that have the potential to become leading sectors and Klassen Typology analysis to identify a picture of the pattern and structure of economic growth to support economic development and regional development in East Kutai Regency. The research results show that during the research period, namely from 2013 to 2022, the mining and quarrying sector still dominates the economic structure of East Kutai Regency with the contribution of this sector to the total GRDP of 83.37%. The Mining and Quarrying sector in East Kutai Regency is a basic sector, so changes in GRDP growth or policy changes in the mining and quarrying sector are believed to have an impact on the formation of GRDP as a whole and besides that, this sector also has competitive advantages and is included in the fast-growing sector. and grow fast. East Kutai Regency in 2013-2022 shows that there are eight economic sectors that have a negative sign (PPij < 0) or slow growth, namely the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sectors amounting to Rp. – 53,630.94,-, Processing Industry sector Rp. – 117,477.84,-, Transportation and Warehousing sector Rp. – 24,119.22,-, Financial Services sector Rp. – 2,233.09, Real Estate sector Rp. – 10,176.60, Corporate Services sector Rp. – 1,288.94, Government Administration, Land and Mandatory Social Security sectors amounting to Rp. – 4,012.91, Education Services sector Rp. – 7,759.64,-. This happens because at the provincial level the growth of these sectors has slowed down, resulting in a slow growth impact on the same sectors in East Kutai Regency.

Effect of Generic Competitive Strategies on the Performance of National Social Security Fund in Nairobi County, Kenya

The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) was established in 1965 by an Act of Parliament under cap 258 Laws of Kenya and serves as the first pillar of social security for Kenyan workers. The Kenyan social security sector has recently been growing at a high rate due to the inclusion of new players in social security services, which was previously solely managed by NSSF. Organizations have realized the importance of a strategic plan for shaping the vision and mission, selecting strategies to be executed and allocating resources to facilitate achieving corporate goals. A strategic plan is instrumental in ensuring that strategic goals are aligned with organizational activities with its environment, thereby providing for its continued survival, effectiveness, and improved performance. This study established the influence of strategic planning practices on the performance of the National Social Security Fund in Kenya. Every organization incorporates different strategies to gain a competitive advantage and sustain profitability. Firm performance is a major building block in strategic management. This study was aimed at evaluating the effect of generic competitive strategies on the performance of NSSF in Kenya. The study used secondary data from published financial statements of NSSF with a target population of 60 employees drawn from the 7 divisions and departments – top, middle & low-level management. The quantitative method was utilized in the analysis and interpretation of data in accordance with the research objectives and research questions. The data collected was summarized, tabulated, and analyzed quantitatively, then presented using tables, pie charts and percentages. According to the findings of the study, cost leadership strategy, differentiation strategy, focus strategy, Innovation Strategy have significant positive influence on the performance of NSSF. All the p-values were 0.05, denoting that the relationship therefore were significant. the study findings show that the four generic strategies have a positive relationship with the organizational performance. Product differentiation strategy and innovation strategy were established to be the key measures or drivers of financial performance. This was based on the strength of association, which was established by the study. Cost leadership strategy and differentiation strategy were also found to be other measures though they should not be used in isolation. The study recommended that National Social Security Fund should embrace and invest in cost leadership strategies most especially forming linkages with service providers, suppliers and other supplementary institutions since it will enable them achieve competitive advantage as compared to other organizations that are not investing in these strategies and that universities should first understand and know their motive and capability before adopting a certain competitive strategy for example market focus.

A roadmap for sustainable implementation of vocational rehabilitation for people with mental disorders and its outcomes: a qualitative evaluation

BackgroundPeople suffering from mental health disorders have lower work participation compared to people without mental challenges. To increase work participation within this group vocational rehabilitation interventions are often offered. Collaboration between the mental health care and social security sectors is needed to enable professionals to perform optimally when carrying out these interventions. Yet, regulatory and financial barriers often hinder sustainable implementation. To overcome these barriers an experimental roadmap for sustainable funding based on a shared savings strategy was piloted in four regions. The aim of the present qualitative study was to gain understanding of the uses of this roadmap and the factors that were important in the experiment’s process.MethodThe roadmap consisted of five steps based upon insights from shared savings strategies and implementation science knowledge, and was initiated by a national steering board. The roadmap aimed to make sustainable funding agreements (based on shared savings) for the implementation of a vocational rehabilitation intervention. In four regions, stakeholders from the mental health care and social security services sector followed the roadmap. We conducted interviews (n = 16) with involved participants and project leaders of the experiment and collected 54 sets of field notes and documents to evaluate the roadmap process. A thematic analysis was used to analyse the data.ResultsRegions perceived improved stakeholder collaboration around vocational rehabilitation after they were guided by the roadmap. Three regions made, or intended to make, agreements on collaboration and funding, yet not based on shared savings. Moreover, going through the roadmap took more time than anticipated. Stakeholder collaboration depended on factors like personal and organizational interests and collaboration conditions and values. Financial legislation and politics were regarded as barriers and personal motives were mentioned as a facilitator in this process.ConclusionsOur study showed that the roadmap supported stakeholders to establish a more sustainable collaboration, even though no sustainable financial agreements were made yet. Although participants acknowledged the function of financial insights and the need for financial resources, the driver for collaboration was found to be more on improving clients’ perspectives than on solving unfair financial distribution issues. This suggests modifying the focus of the roadmap from financial benefits to improving clients’ perspectives.

Budget impact analysis of venetoclax for the management of acute myeloid leukemia from the perspective of the social security and the private sector in Argentina.

This study aimed to estimate the budget impact of the incorporation of venetoclax for the treatment of patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) over 75 years of age or those with comorbidities and contraindications for the use of intensive chemotherapy, from the perspective of the social security and the private third-party payers in Argentina. A budget impact model was adapted to estimate the cost difference between the current scenario (azacitidine, decitabine and low doses of cytarabine) and the new scenario (incorporation of venetoclax) for a third-party payer over a time horizon of three years. Input parameters were obtained from a literature review, validated or complemented by expert opinion using a modified Panel Delphi approach. All direct medical costs were estimated by the micro-costing approach and were expressed in US dollars (USD) as of September 2020 (1 USD = 76.18 Argentine pesos). For a third-party payer with a cohort of 1,000,000 individuals covered, incorporating venetoclax was associated with an average budget impact per-member per-month (PMPM) of $0.11 USD for the social security sector and $0.07 USD for the private sector. The duration of treatment with venetoclax was the most influential parameter in the budget impact results. The introduction of venetoclax was associated with a positive and slight budget impact. These findings are informative to support policy decisions aimed to expand the current treatment landscape of AML.

Effect of Productive Expenditure on Economic Growth of Nigeria as Moderated by Public Debt

This study investigated the effect of productive expenditure on the economic growth in Nigeria as moderated by public debt for the period of thirty-one years, from 1991-2021. Ex-post facto research design was adopted. The data used in this study were secondary data derived from the Central Bank of Nigeria Statistical Bulletin while public debt data was sourced from Debt Management Office Annual Reports. The study used regression analysis and the result revealed that both economic service and social service expenditure have positive significant effect on economic growth but when moderated by public debt showed economic service expenditure has positive significant effect on economic growth while social service expenditure has a negative significant influence on economic growth in Nigeria. The study concluded that economic service and social service expenditures have effects on economic growth in Nigeria. The study recommended that the government should increase public spending on social services. This can be accomplished by utilizing public funding to improve educational quality at all levels of learning (primary, secondary, and higher education) through training programs that give the skills and information needed to increase labor productivity and create additional job possibilities. Furthermore, public spending in the health and social security sectors should be directed toward constructive expenditures that promote economic growth.

ANALISIS POTENSI EKONOMI KABUPATEN SUMBAWA TAHUN 2016-2021

This study aims to determine the potential of the economic sector which can be used as a base or superior economic sector in Sumbawa Regency District. This study used a descriptive method with the type of data used was quantitative data in the form of Gross Regional Domestic Product of Sumbawa District data for 2016-2021 from all existing economic sectors. This data was obtained from published documents or archives of the Sumbawa District Central Statistics Agency. The data analysis tool used was the analysis technique of location quotient (LQ) analysis, shift share analysis, and klassen typological Analysis. Based on the results of the LQ analysis, it shows that there are seven economic sectors in Sumbawa Regency which have an LQ value greater than 1 (>1) so that they can be used as base or superior sectors in Sumbawa District, but there are only four economic sectors in Sumbawa District those in quadrant I, namely sectors that are relatively advanced and growing rapidly (developed sectors), are the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors; electricity and gas procurement sector; wholesale and retail trade sector, car and motorbike repair; and the government administration, defense and mandatory social security sectors. These sectors have a very large contribution in forming Sumbawa District GRDP and if managed well these sectors will continue to be growing sectors in the future.

A resource‐based perspective on the regulatory welfare state: Social security in the United Kingdom

The article provides a resource‐based perspective on the polymorphic regulatory welfare state. It shows regulatory and fiscal tools applied in the UK social security sector place demands on claimants' resources (i.e., possessions, labor and data) and simultaneously alter behavior in relation to these resources. The analysis exposes an operation that generates new and increasing resource pressures for claimants, providing a deeper conceptualization of a regulatory welfare state. It offers a new perspective on why regulatory and fiscal arrangements perpetuate existing inequalities and suggests an increase in welfare problems as the regulatory welfare state intensifies resource pressures.

Analisis Sektor Unggulan Sebagai Daya Saing Dalam Pembangunan Wilayah Kabupaten

The basic sectors or leading sectors of a region need to be explored optimally to increase economic competitiveness. Measuring competitiveness can be done by identifying basic sectors, Shift-Share analysis and also Klassen typology analysis. The aim of this research is to analyze the leading sectors in Purbalingga Regency based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data in order to obtain basic sectors, classification of economic growth and changes and shifts in the economic structure. This research is a quantitative research using Location Quotient (LQ) analysis tools, Shift-Share analysis and Klassen Typology analysis. The result is that based on the LQ analysis, there are three superior out of fourteen superior GRDP sectors, namely the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sectors, the Mining and Excavation sector and the Water Supply, Waste Management, Waste and Recycling sectors. Furthermore, the five sectors that are included in the advanced and rapidly growing sector include the Transportation and Warehousing sector, the Government Administration, Defense and Mandatory Social Security sectors, the Mining and Quarrying sector, the Education Services sector and the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries sectors. The results of the Shift-Share analysis show that there are six sectors that fall into the basic category which is superior, namely the Construction sector, the Electricity and Gas Procurement sector, the Transportation and Warehousing sector, the Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision sector, the Health Services and Social Activities sector and the Other Services sector

Assessment of Socio-Economic Adaptability to Ageing in Resource-Based Cities and Its Obstacle Factor

The resource-based city is a type of city with pronounced ageing problems. Correctly grasping the socio-economic adaptability to ageing in resource-based cities can help actively guide the direction of urban development and build a new socio-economic order for the elderly. This paper first selects 125 resource-based cities in China from 2000 to 2020 for characteristic analysis, and finds that resource-based cities are characterized by fast growth rate and a large proportion of ageing population, deep ageing, large regional differences and uncoordinated ageing development with regional socio-economic development levels. The research objective of this article is to explore the temporal evolution characteristics, spatial patterns, agglomeration characteristics, and factors hindering the socio-economic adaptability to ageing in resource-based cities in China from 2000 to 2020. Therefore, an indicator system for assessing the socio-economic adaptability to ageing was constructed, and the improved entropy-weighted TOPSIS model was used to measure the socio-economic adaptability to ageing in 113 resource-based cities in China from 2000 to 2020. The spatio-temporal variation characteristics of the socio-economic adaptability to ageing in resource-based cities were analyzed by descriptive analysis and Moran’s index, and the main obstacle dimensions and obstacle indicators were clarified by the obstacle factor model. The findings can be summarized as follows: Temporal Analysis: Over the timeframe assessed, the socio-economic adaptability of ageing in resource cities demonstrates a consistent year-on-year improvement. The spatial clustering pattern exhibits a noteworthy trend of “significant-significant-insignificant”. Spatial Pattern: Examining the spatial arrangement from 2000 to 2020, areas with medium-low and low adaptability are prominently concentrated in Eastern China and Northeastern China, while regions with medium-high and high adaptability are focal in Northern China and Eastern China. Hebei Province and its neighboring provinces consistently display H-H clustering, contrasting with the Southwestern regions that persistently exhibit L-L clustering. Obstacle Degree Analysis: Across the 2000 to 2020 period, dimensions related to economic development, social participation, and social security consistently emerge as the primary obstacles. Notably, the top 12 average annual obstacle indicators are selected, and within economic development dimension all 4 indicators predominate as the key obstacles. Within the social participation dimension, tertiary sector value added and total retail sales of consumer goods per capita feature as primary obstacles. Regarding social security, impediments are primarily associated with the ratio of Medicare coverage, the ratio of pension coverage, alongside the development level of the social security sector. In the domain of service provision, key obstacle indicators include park area per capita, number of books in public libraries per 100 inhabitants, and public trams and buses per 10,000 inhabitants.

Analysis Of The Leading Sector Of Ambon City During The Covid-19 Pandemic

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) is a major factor in viewing economic growth in a region. High production will contribute to Regional Original Income (PAD), which can later be used by regions to build infrastructure and other regional needs. However, the COVID-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia has hampered the economy. This condition also hit Ambon City which is the capital of Maluku Province. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a different impact on every business sector in Ambon City. Through analysis of Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), and Shift-share, also supported by using overlay identification analysis, conclusions were drawn when entering the COVID-19 pandemic, the period 2016 to 2020, the leading sector in Ambon City was the Financial Services and Insurance as well as Government Administration, Defense, and Compulsory Social Security sectors.

The Future of Sharia-Based Employment Insurance for Indonesia’s Employment Insurance Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan): Learning from Malaysia

The growing Islamic economy worldwide has inspired the launch of “Indonesia’s Islamic Economic Masterplan 2019-2024” in May 2019. The blueprint aims to establish a sustainable domestic Islamic market and make Indonesia the key player in the global Islamic economy and finance hub by developing several sectors such as Islamic banking, Islamic capital market, social security, and Islamic social sectors. Data from Indonesia’s Financial Authority shows a huge gap between conventional and Islamic insurance regarding their contribution to Indonesia’s GDP in the third quarter of 2018. The former contributed 31,7%, while the latter only had 1,13%. It seems that Indonesia, home to the world’s largest Muslim population, is left behind among other Muslim majority countries to create an Islamic economic market. In contrast, Malaysia with fewer Muslim inhabitants has succeeded in building a feasible sharia economic market and Islamic insurance in its social security institution called the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF). This study uses a comparative study to observe phenomena and analyze differences and similarities to be interpreted or evaluated, and comparisons will be made between Indonesia and Malaysia as units of analysis. Our findings indicate that the probability of developing Islamic insurance in social security institutions not only depends on the precise scheme that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan will introduce as the provider but also on the willingness of the national government to build a new regulatory framework.

Transfer Payments and Economic Sector Performance: Input-Output Analysis in Bandung Regency

This study analyzes the effect of transfer funds on Bandung Regency's economic sectors in 2022, using input-output table analysis to formulate suitable allocation policies for economic development goals. The research was conducted using the Location Quotient (LQ) method. This research produced an inverse Leontif matrix. Leontif's inverse matrix can be used to analyze the interrelationships between economic sectors in Bandung Regency. Revised: The government transfer expenditure in Kabupaten Bandung in 2022 had a direct impact of IDR 459,979,360,622.89 on the Government Administration, Defense, and Mandatory Social Security sector. The indirect impact or multiplier effect on the other 16 economic sectors was IDR 241,790,256,760.42. Analysis through the Leontief inverse matrix shows that the increase of final demand in all sectors by IDR 1 billion would result in an output increase of IDR 1.53 billion in the Government Administration, Defense, and Mandatory Social Security sector. Conversely, if the final demand in that sector increases by IDR 1 billion, the output of all sectors will increase by IDR 1.02 billion. Therefore, the government transfer expenditure in Kabupaten Bandung positively impacted the growth of all economic sectors.

Leading Sector Analysis in Gunung Mas Regency

This study aims to find out which economic sectors are the leading sectors in Indonesia, to know the structure of the regional economy, to find out the development of the leading economic sectors and to find out which sectors have potential sectors in Gunung Mas Regency. The analysis tools used are Location Quotient Analysis, Shift Share, Klassen Typology and Growth Ratio Model. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded from the four analytical tools: (1) the results of the Location Quotient analysis, namely the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, the Construction Sector, the Food and Drink Accommodation Provision Sector, the Information and Communication Sector, the Real Estate Sector, the Service Sector Companies, the Government Administration Sector, Defense and Compulsory Social Security, the Education Services Sector, and the Health Services and Social Activities Sector which are the leading economic sectors in Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. (2) The results of the Shift Share analysis are that there is no shift in the economic structure in Gunung Mas Regency. (3) The results of the Klassen Typology, namely the Advanced and Rapidly Growing Sector (Quadrant I) in Gunung Mas Regency are the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector, the Mining and Quarrying Sector, the Construction Sector and the Information and Communication Sector. (4) The results of the analysis of the Growth Ratio Model, that the Potential sector is the Wholesale and Retail Trade Sector; Car and Motorcycle Repair, Real Estate Sector, Government Administration Sector, Defense and Compulsory Social Security, Health Services and Social Activities Sector

Analysis Of Incremental Capital-Output Ratio (Icor) And Projection Of Investment Needs In Maluku Province

This study aims to analyze the relationship between investment and economic growth and to project investment needs in Maluku Province using the Incremental Capital-Output Ratio (ICOR) by economic sector and district/city. Standard method, accumulation method, and time lag (lag 1) were applied to obtain ICOR. While the projection of investment needs uses the ICOR values obtained, the economic growth target set by the Maluku Provincial Government and the implicit index as a proxy for price changes. The results obtained quite high ICOR values, namely an average of 5.91 for the standard method, 5.89 for the accumulation method, and 5.58 for the time lag approach (lag 1), where sectorally the highest investment efficiency is in 1)Construction Sector; 2)Trade and Retail, Car and Motorcycle Repair Sector; and 3)Public Administration, Defense and Compulsory Social Security Sector. While th the lowest efficiency is 1)Electricity and Gas Procurement Sector; 2)Real Estate Sector; and 3)the Mining and Quarrying Sector. At the district/city, the most efficient investment is Ambon City, followed by Central Maluku Regency, and Aru Regency. While the least efficient is East Seram Regency (SBT), followed by Southwest Maluku Regency (MBD), and Tanimbar Islands Regency (KKT).
