Sliding Modes Strategy Implementation for Controlling Nutrition in Hydroponics Based IoT

To reduce unconsistenly of nutrition sensor data, an analysis which consists of mathemathical model and new control technique is required. In this paper, a simulation of smart garden is performed to simulate a smart green campus. However, the problem appears in this activity, the data form sensor is not consistent and it may harm the plant because sometime the plant may get a much nutrition and another time the plant will get less nutrition. Our propose is on the sensor circuit, we use additional circuit to our TDS meter so the data is normalized using this circuit.

Aplikasi Pengontrolan Kelembaban Tanah pada Smart Garden Menggunakan Sensor Soil Moisture

The problem of stabilizing soil moisture can be addressed by designing a soil moisture control application that serves to provide information on soil moisture conditions within a certain time period in the form of an order to water and stop watering. The research aims to carry out a sensing simulation on Soil Moisture Control Application in Smart Garden using Soil Moisture Sensor. This research is an experimental research of tool design in order to improve the quality and working system of the tool. The results of this study indicate that the device will function or not If the sensor detects that the ground is dry or the measurement results are brought to 50%, then the sensor will respond and send a signal to the microcontroller to activate the relay so that the pump will turn on automatically. If the device does not function then we can do it automatically manually by controlling it via a smartphone application. When the soil reaches a soil moisture level above 50% from the results of either watering done by the tool or from the rain detected by the soil mousture sensor then the tool will stop automatically and the tool will return to function when the soil returns dry, so that it can control soil moisture. This tool is equipped with indicators using LED lights when the tool is functioning.

RANCANG BANGUN PROTOTYPE SMART OFFICE SYSTEM BERBASIS IOT PADA BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEM

The greatness of an Office located on the individuals that are fused braid synergy to achieve maximum results. Then it is reasonably mutually company trying to improve performance and productivity by providing the needs of employees in the internal work process, by providing representative offices to encourage employees to feel comfortable and motivated in order to provide the best achievements for the company, but to bring about a representative office there are a few problems that occur in office like its electrical energy continuously, lights and air conditioning always turned on, security is lacking because crimes like theft is still happening Enter the room, someone who is not an employee and still very rarely a firm which provides garden for rest. To realize the research prototype Smart Office System with the Arduino Mega 2560 and Raspberry Pi-based Internet of Things Project Builder Cayenne parts Building Automation System using the system development methodology waterfall and RUP (Rational Unified Process). In this prototype consists of a prototype with RFID sensors, DHT11, and LDR, prototype smart garden with soil moisture sensors and HC-SR04 for watering plants automatically and autonomous robot prototype line follower to monitor security outside the building. The existence of this system makes it easy to monitor in the office and representative offices materialize due to the presence of automation system that is applied in the office. Digital agricultural technologies in the “Smart garden” system

The article presents the key parameters of modern systems of technological processes design, control and management of plant life parameters and robotic machines for the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies in the “Smart garden” system. The software and hardware, ensuring the formation and management of machine technologies of the perennial garden plantings maintenance that allow for economically managed, environmentally safe and sustainable production, taking into account the interests of producers in specific production conditions were analyzed. The article describes the possibility of using unmanned aerial vehicles and robotic machines in horticulture in the management of production processes, technical means of navigation, control over the implementation of technological operations, digital monitoring of crop yields, analysis of diseases and pests on plants. The classification of the means of remote information acquisition installed on the ground robotic means and aircraft was given. The priority tasks for increasing the efficiency of the “Smart Garden” system application, connected with the creation of a unified information network for the collection, storage and processing of data on the parameters of plant life, development of universal modules of technical vision and algorithms for pattern recognition of biological objects in horticulture and fundamentally new mechatronic robotic means for the implementation of technological processes in horticulture (harvesting manipulators, robotic weeders, platforms for monitoring plantations) were determined.

Scatternet Formation Protocol for Environmental Monitoring in a Smart Garden

The monitoring of different parameters in the smart garden environment requires thousands of nodes and actuators. They form a multi-hop communication network. The scatternets formed with Bluetooth protocol is a communication solution. However, there is no current algorithm that considers the different capabilities of the devices (sensors or actuators) and assigns a role according to these capabilities. In this paper, we present a network topology formation algorithm for role assignment and connection establishment which considers the capabilities of the devices and use slave-slave Bridge to communicate the piconets. We design the algorithms needed for this protocol and test it. We have simulated the algorithms in order to evaluate the time needed for role assignment and to establish the first connections of the piconet. The results include different scenarios composed by one or two masters and one to seven slaves. In addition, we evaluate the established connections in piconets and bridges in a real case of the smart garden sensor network. Finally, we present the changes in the piconet connections after the deployment of two nodes in an existing network.

Behavior, paradigm, responses and concern Students’ on the outdoor learning

This research was conducted using biology learning strategy based on natural environment around the conservation area of smart garden University of Bengkulu (UNIB). Bengkulu University’s smart garden conservation area is a learning resource for students located in Bengkulu Province. This study refers to the steps of Research and Development which begins with (1) the planning stage, (2) the development stage and (3) the effectiveness test stage. The learning strategy applied includes three stages of learning; Introduction, Exploration, and Interpretation (IEI) which are equipped with Natural Environment Based Learning. The resultstest show that learners who learn with outdoor learning have behavior, paradigm, response, and good concernto the environment.

Resilient Smart Gardens—Exploration of a Blueprint

In an effort to become more resilient and contribute to saving water and other resources, people become more interested in growing their own food, but do not have sufficient gardening experience and education on conserving water. Previous work has attempted to develop resilient smart gardens that support the user in automated watering using simple embedded boards. However, none of these solutions proved to be scalable nor are they easy to replicate for people at home. We set up a student team project that created a safe space for exploring this multidisciplinary domain. We developed a smart resilient garden kit with Internet-of-Things devices that is easy to rebuild and scale. We use a small-scale board and a number of sensors connected to a planter. In this paper, we report on a prototypical implementation for multidisciplinary smart garden projects, our experiences with self-guided implementation and reflection meetings, and our lessons learned. By learning about water conservation using automation on a small scale, students develop a sense for engineering solutions regarding resource limitations early on. By extending such small projects, they can prepare for developing large-scale solutions for those challenges.

Service based collaborative framework for smart gardening

Service oriented architecture (SOA) is being an evolving technology, which allows various applications to talk with each other and share data and services through a provider, mediator and service requestor with a service description. This paper recommends a way for the development of “smart gardening” using web services in combination with internet of things (IoT). This approach helps to develop, deploy, integrate and manage various services through a collaborative framework for the effective maintenance of plant growth. The usage of IoT will help people to use the sophisticated techniques to improve the maintenance. IoT is used for sensing soil moisture and nutrients, controlling water usage for plant growth and determining custom fertilizer. Further, it also aims to maintain the environmental constancy and sustainability.

INTELLIGENT AUTOMATED IOT BASED IRRIGATION SYSTEM

In the developing digital world, wireless sensor network helps in advance systems. The work follows the fundamental idea which is used to study the flow of data such as water flow, remove obstacles, and provide medicines based on crop fertilization stages during a transmission by use of wireless sensor network and monitoring system. The work is mainly focused on smart agriculture system and also provide the highly qualified crop yield by development in an automated precision agriculture monitoring system and also monitoring the quality of crop fertilization in stage by stage growth process by sensing / intimating flow of data based on crop fertilization varieties such as long duration varieties, medium duration varieties and short duration varieties for scheming standard parameters like humidity, temperature, soil moisture based on fertilization stages. Single-chip microcontrollers furnished with remote handsets are picking up ubiquity in brilliant home computerization considering their inherent assets, low power utilization, measure, manage the cost of capacity and sturdiness. Innovative work experts are grabbing the chance to outline and coordinate more capacities and administrations for savvy home checking and control systems using such microcontrollers. This project exhibits a wireless water irrigation system for a smart home garden that can be incorporated with existing savvy home control frameworks.

The Role of Communities in Strengthening Social Capital of Coastal Communities through the Library

Library is a place that provides information openly and freely for the community. With the principle of openness, libraries can be accessed by all levels of society. The purpose of this study is to provide an analysis of the active role of some communities in establishing private libraries to provide information services to coastal communities. This research is a qualitative research with case study approach in coastal area of Semarang. The results of the research there are several libraries that were established by individual communities. Libraries are established using several terms; as; community reading park, reading house, smart garden. The management of libraries from self-help communities ranging from librarians, collections, buildings and infrastructure facilities. Activities undertaken by librarians have provided creative services to contribute to the literacy capabilities and social capital of coastal communities through a diverse collection of books that support social strengthening and entrepreneurship training.

IoT 기반 실시간 시각화 알고리즘을 이용한 스마트가드닝 시스템 설계 및 구현

Data generated from sensors are exploding with recent development of IoT. This paradigm shift requires various industry fields that demand instant actions to analyze the arising data on a real-time basis, along with the real-time visualization analysis. As the existing visualization systems, however, perform visualization after storing data, the response time of the server cannot guarantee the ms-level processing that is close to real-time. They also have a problem of destroying data that can be major resources as they do not possess the process resources. Therefore, a smart gardening system that applies a real-time visualization algorithm using IoT sensing data under a gardening environment was designed and implement in this study. The response time of the server was measured to evaluate the performance of the suggested system. As a result, the response speed of the suggested real-time visualization algorithm was guaranteeing the ms-level processing close to real-time.

The “Smart Garden” System using Augmented Reality

Abstract The goal of this research is to build an advanced gardening system called “Smart Garden”. The goal of this research is to build an advanced gardening system called “Smart Garden”. The Smart Garden support beginners in farming operations, such as home gardeners. The objectives of this paper are to develop a support system of the Smart Garden which can 1) visualize guidance of farming operations using CGs and overlay them on a field where the operator is working, and 2) record the operator's positions and viewpoints during their operations.

DIGITAL FARMING

The expediency of inclusion in the program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" of the subprogram "Digital Agriculture" is substantiated. The unified concept today includes at least 6 basic ("portfolio") directions, followed by filling them with initiative projects of the full cycle (events): "Digital technologies in the management of the agro-industrial complex", "Smart land use", "Smart field", "Smart garden "," Clever greenhouse "," Smart farm ". Formed in the digital and information service, they should make up the common Federal Digital Platform of the Federal Executive Bodies, first of all the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Agriculture, will require constant rigid harmonization of indicators. We need local digital platforms and information systems for the scientific process, innovations and specific pilot projects, corporate and partner. A conceptual model of "digital farming" is proposed in the framework of the "Digital (smart) land use" direction, based on the generalization of experience and development of adaptive landscape systems of agriculture and science intensive agrotechnologies. The model includes 5 blocks: basic research (the main mechanisms of implementation are the development of spatial planning on a landscape-ecological basis in the system of strategic planning and design of agricultural landscapes), applied research (aimed at developing methods and means of designing agro landscapes and systems of agriculture on a landscape-ecological basis) , designing adaptive-landscape systems of agriculture and agrotechnologies, development of projects (it is necessary to develop in addition to the development of new educational programs, a radical transformation of the practical training of students and the creation of an educational and production base that is adequate to modern realities, in particular, experimental and training production farms, which correspond to perspective models of agricultural production).
