Study This aims To determine the eligibility of MSME assistance recipients with the method AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) And SAW (Simple Additives weighting). The AHP method is used to determine the weight of each criterion. Meanwhile, SAW is used To determine the rank selection of beneficiaries. Study System Supporters Decision Appropriateness Recipient Help Business Micro Community Use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Simple Additive Methods weighting (SAW), Study This done in Subdistrict Intersection Three Regency Pidie Aceh Province to facilitate the Selection of Eligibility of Government Assistance Recipients For Build a business Micro Society. Testing is done in this study, namely black box testing. Results Testing black box shows that the system can walk with Good by function, with results calculation method AHP and results calculation method SAW in determining eligibility selection MSME aid recipients. The results of the level of accuracy testing on the AHP and SAW methods with six criteria and alternatives the requirements is 75%.

Analysis of Mental Workload in Appropriate Technology (AT) for Agricultural Machinery Using Heart Rate Variability (HRV) Parameters

Appropriate Technology (AT) is designed to substitute manual work and to increase productivity for small-medium businesses. Due to its low-cost technology that affects its design quality, the acceptance of AT appears to be low. A guideline has yet to be available to determine AT's design quality. The purpose of this study was to explore the efficacy of physiological measures collected from a Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) in differentiating mental workload in using AT. If applicable, these measures can provide objective data for AT evaluation. Several parameters were collected from HRM, including frequency domain and time domain. Two ATs were used for evaluation that represented “good” and “poor” agricultural processing machines. Eleven participants were involved in this study in which they used both ATs. The result of this studyis the ratio of Low Frequency and High Frequency (LF/HF) parameter detects differences perceived by the participants. The increase in the LF/HF value from the Commercial Extruder to the Customized Extruder is directly proportional to the increase in mental workload, where the Commercial Extruder is defined as a “good” AT design, and the Customized Extruder as a “poor” AT design. Therefore, it can be concluded that designs with specific guidelines can reduce the mental workload perceived by operators.

The Relationship Among Knowledge Ambidexterity, Innovation, and Marketing Performance

The relationship among knowledge management, organizational ambidexterity, innovation, and marketing performance is crucial in driving organizational success and competitive advantage in today's rapidly changing business environment. The aim of the study is to look at relationship knowledge management, organizational ambidexterity, innovation, and marketing performance. Besides, it examines the effects of knowledge management and organizational ambidexterity on marketing performance as intervened by innovation as a mediator. The unit analysis is the owners of SMEs in Medan Municipality, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. This research applies quantitative methods. The research population was 478 SMEs in technology and internet businesses registered in the Government Office of Cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) of Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The respondents were 217 owners of SMEs. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The data analysis uses the Partial Least Square technique. The research finds that both knowledge management and organizational ambidexterity have positive impacts on innovation. Innovation mediates the knowledge management-marketing performance relationship and organizational ambidexterity-marketing performance relationship. It is advisable for Small Medium Business owners to implement knowledge management, organizational ambidexterity, and innovation to increase their marketing performance.

Exploring the Livelihood Assets Utilisation and the Business Sustainability Among Garment Businesses at Tingkir Lor District, Salatiga

ABSTRACT This paper explores how accummulation of livelihood assets of entrepreneur affects the business sustainability of MSMEs positively. Bringing up a case study of entrepreneurs running Small Medium garment businesses in Tingkir Lor, Salatiga, this paper provides empirical evidence of how optimum utilization of livelihood assets at the early stage of their business has improved their capabilities to develop their business. Using qualitative research methods, this article analyzes the entrepreneurs’ strategies in exploiting livelihood assets from start up to business development. Optimum utilization of livelihood assets in those two business stages has improved the capabilities of the entrepreneurs to sustain their livelihoods. Halal Certification Awareness Perceptions in Indonesian Food SMEs: An Investigation on Understanding, Knowledge, Impact, and Regulations

The importance of Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) perception towards halal food certification needs to be evaluated. This study aims to assess food SMEs perception of their understanding, knowledge, impact, and regulation of halal certificates. Understanding halal food certification is important in the context of obedience to halal food standards and SMEs business continuity. As many as 67 SMEs that produce food and beverages in Malang City, Indonesia, were surveyed to collect relevant data. This survey consists of 4 factors and 19 indicator questions, using a Likert scale from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). Analysis shows that SMEs have a high understanding and confidence toward halal products and recognize the importance of halal certification. However, this study's main discovery is that SMEs know little about halal food regulation and socialization. This discovery implies that socialization and education about procedures and rules need extra effort. This study contributes to SMEs' perception of halal food certification in Indonesia. It highlights the challenges SMEs face towards halal certification in Indonesia to increase obedience toward halal standards.

Locus of control, environment, and small-medium business performance in pilgrimage tourism: The mediating role of product innovation

Small and medium businesses in pilgrimage tourism are one of the most vulnerable sectors in the post-pandemic due to product innovation and business activities. This study aims to investigate the impact of locus of control and environment on business performance, as well as to examine the role of product innovation. The data of this research were retrieved using a self-administered survey from small and medium businesses on Islamic pilgrimage in East Java of Indonesia. Using structural equation modeling, the findings indicate that locus of control and environment can support product innovation and small-medium business performance. Furthermore, this present research shows that there is a robust link between product innovation and performance. This research also reveals that product innovation partially mediates the link between locus of control and business performance, as well as the environment and small-medium business performance in pilgrimage tourism. These findings raise the need for small and medium enterprises to take the initiative for product innovations to escalate business performance.

Mobile Security Operation Centre (mSOC)

Attacks on the internet are becoming increasingly threatening. For naïve home users, who are poorly protected, there is always an imminent danger of getting cyber attacked. 
 This paper is aimed to design and build an IoT-based Network Security device that would run as an access point for users to connect to the Internet in a home setting. The paper discusses a standalone perimeter security solution with Incident Response (IR) life cycle management and controls through an IoT device – Raspberry PI. Enterprise-level features such as Next Generation Firewall (NGFW), Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS), Domain Control for Ad/Spam blocking, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) for Log Co-ran System on Chip (SoC), which can be installed anywhere and carried for mobile operations. Hence, the name, Mobile Security Operation Centre (mSOC).
 This solution intends to protect the user when browsing the internet and blocking or providing visibility to the malicious connections made to or from users. The mSOC can filter domains based on whitelist/blacklist and Regex Pattern. It can also identify the domains that are blocked or allowed. It also provides visibility to traffic, application statistics, and IP reputation. IP reputation and Malicious Domains then can act as input to the iptables for L3/L4 blocking. A Software User Interface is developed to integrate and manage multiple Open-Sourced applications like dnsmasq/ elk/ graylog/ SQlite3/ Iptables/ adminlte as a single product that could serve as a complete security solution for a home or Small Medium Business (SMB). Thus, the proposed solution secures naïve users from security exploitations.

Alternative Financing Model of Micro Small Medium Business (UMKM) Based on Productive Zakat by Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ) in Surabaya

This article discusses the problems that arise in micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia in general, namely capital problems, income distribution, and the quality of the products offered. Which of these problems can reduce the productivity of UMKM and ultimately cannot guarantee the welfare of the local community. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The author looks at the existing problems and proposes solutions by optimizing the means of productive zakat funds that have been collected by the Amil Zakat Institute (LAZ). The distribution of productive zakat funds as a source of funding is the main instrument in this article. The financing and development of UMKM by the Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ) is a solution to the problems of UMKM that have been going on for so long. As the Amil Zakat Institution, LAZ will provide business capital from productive zakat funds, foster entrepreneurship, and human resources, as well as aid and control UMKM actors who have received capital from the Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ). The pattern for developing UMKM is through productive zakat funds that have been collected by the Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ) for UMKM. The author will describe the mechanism and role of the Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ) in distributing productive zakat funds so that through this they can overcome the problems of UMKM. Based on this thought, the output expected by the author is to improve product quality, good distribution, and prosperity for UMKM and ultimately be able to create better economic conditions for the community.

Strategic Market Orientation and Creation of Cultural Entrepreneurship: Case Study of Chinese Entrepreneurs

This study aims to reveal that the strategic market orientation and creation of cultural entrepreneurship plays a role in the performance of Chinese entrepreneurs in the covid-19 pandemic. The behavioral elements of market orientation are formed by innovative behavior based on the cultural values of Chinese entrepreneurs. Cultural values are strategically providing a resource management perspective of Chinese entrepreneurs for development of cultural innovative behavior towards to the strategic market orientation. Strategic market orientation configurates the development of cultural entrepreneurship creativity in the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is in the setting of Chinese entrepreneurs in West Java, Indonesia. This study uses a postpositivist paradigm with holistic design of case studies on three Chinese entrepreneurs in a small-medium business. Semi-structural interviews with an open format on three Chinese entrepreneurs are used as data collection. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The results of the study are in the form of an empirical model design that reveals the strategic behavioral elements of market orientation based on cultural innovative behavior in the development of cultural entrepreneurship. Research findings contribute theoretically to the concept of strategic orientation management and cultural entrepreneurship in the context of market orientation that interactions in entrepreneurship has a great complexity, one of which is based on the cultural innovative behavior inherited in the development of behavioral elements of market orientation, cultural entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial sustainability

Effect of Mobile Banking on Financial Inclusion among Small-Medium Enterprises in Kakamega County, Kenya

At the end of 2016, adults to the tune of 25 percent had not attained inclusion in financial matters. The general objective was to determine the effect of mobile banking on financial inclusion among SMEs in Kakamega County, Kenya. This study was founded on the diffusion-innovation theory. The descriptive research design was adopted for a population of 9116, comprising 5108 small businesses and 4008 small-medium businesses in Kakamega County, Kenya. This study sampled 369 SMEs, who formed the respondents for the study. This study used questionnaires, so primary data was obtained. Data analysis was done using descriptive and inferential statistics. The study found a positive correlation coefficient of financial innovation parameter, mobile banking (t= 5.060, p<0.005) on financial inclusion among small-medium enterprises. The study findings have shown that mobile banking is significant; hence, banks should subscribe to small-medium enterprises to enable convenient operations and timely transactions. Development of Micro Small-Medium Business in Asian Countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand): A comparison in accounting behavior

This study examines how to support and improve micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in ASEAN countries, which have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employs a qualitative research method, which emphasizes observing and examining the substance and meaning of the phenomena more deeply. The research found that the success of MSMEs in Indonesia depends on factors like the business sector, size, financial management, and digital technology use. Similarly, MSMEs policies in Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia can help increase state income, but require investment in areas like human resources, finance, and marketing. The study aims to provide insights into the strengths and weaknesses of MSMEs in these countries to help promote their development.

The Impact of The Halal Label on The Welfare of Micro Small-Medium Businesses in Indonesia

Halal labels at this time are so widely circulated. Especially in food which is the key for Muslims when they are going to consume a food product. Because the groceries that we eat must be halal and tayyiban so that the food becomes our energy to worship and carry out the activities that we do every day. The purpose of this research is to find out thoroughly how the process so that food can become halal as a whole and know the nature of halal. Halal labels are currently widely circulated, especially in food, which is the key for Muslims when they are going to consume a food product. The groceries that we eat must be halal and tayyiban so that these foods become our energy for worship and carrying out the activities that we do every day. Due to limited time, the ability to conduct research in the field, and a lack of ability to analyze problems in the field, I used Google Scholar and Scientific Articles. Then the effect of slaughter on the halal food sold. Because by knowing the differences, MSMEs can find out the whole process of halal food products so that their sales are expected to experience an increase in sales and general features, and most importantly, provide a sense of calm for their customers.

Analysis of External Support and Organizational Capacity on Electronic Commerce Adoption Impact on Small Medium Business Performance

This study aims to develop the concept of external support, compatibility and organizational capabilities in increasing the adoption of Electronic Commerce and its impact on the performance of small and medium enterprises. The sample of this research was 123 respondents consisting of small and medium culinary business owners in the city of Semarang, Indonesia. The analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling - Amos program version 21. The results show that adoption of electronic commerce is significantly positively influenced by external support, by compatibility, by organizational capability, and by organizational capability, in addition to being significantly positively influenced by adoption of electronic commerce and the performance of small and medium-sized businesses. Rise of Night Market in Polangui Albay: An Advantage to SMEs

Night market is one of the exciting trends in Polangui’s food system. It showcases the local culture and promotes the local food of the town. It also acts as an alternative for small medium business owners to sell their goods daily. It is considered as business incubators for the aspiring entrepreneurs since it only needs a small amount of capital to the start the business. There are five variables studied namely: vendor’s profile and characteristics, customers profile and characteristics, level of support from the Local Government Units (LGUs), competition among vendors, and the type of products and their prices. This paper identifies the advantages of the night market to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the town of Polangui. This research could also help to encourage other local business owners to use this as a platform to be successful in the business. It could be a great advantage to the vendors if they will join the night market in order for the locals and other people coming from neighborhood municipalities to taste the type of food and services that they offer and it may provide a benchmark for future studies. This exploratory study described the prospect of the night markets in the business environment and also explore the main intention to highlight the advantages of the night market activities to SMEs as the researcher adopted qualitative research approach. Overall results revealed that there are five contributing factors that benefit the entrepreneurs in the rise of night markets in Polangui, Albay that may help in attracting more customers to visit the night markets regularly namely: income generation, gaining confidence among the vendors, gain additional knowledge/skills through seminars, training's attended and workshops helping LGU promote tourism and collect taxes, and overall economic growth.

The economic growth and development of a region are inseparable from the potential of Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (SMMEs), because SMMEs have a significant contribution to the development of the regional Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) as well as the national GRDP. Therefore, the study of research and development of SMEs is one of the basic prerequisites that must be carried out in building the business and economy of the community and the regional economy. This study aims to analyze the factors that support and promote SMME development and analyze SMME development in East Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The method used in this study was SWOT analysis. The results of the study found that the internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external (opportunities and threats) matrix analysis, the competitive position of the SMME sector in the Regency is in quadrant 1. In this position, the best strategic choices that can be made are growth strategies, market, and product development, as well as market penetration. The results of the SWOT analysis stated several recommendations for SMME development, namely: The need for support for MSME development because the right strategy can encourage SMMEs to continue to grow.

Business Resilience during the Pandemic in Indonesia

Micro Small Medium Enterprise (SME) is one of the main contributors to a nation's gross domestic product (GDP). However, with the currentCovid-19 pandemic, it has led to business closing and travel banning disrupting the SME business supply chain. Rahman (2020) highlighted that the SMEs are experiencing sales reduction, difficulty in financing the business and facing trouble in acquiring supply as well as distributing goods during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to identify the SMEs resilience strategies during this challenging time. This study has taken a quantitative exploratory approach. Data were collected using an online questionnaire survey. Results indicate that SMEs focus on product differentiation as well as cost, financing and technology processes, thus suggesting the companies are resilient to disruptions. In addition, the result suggests that leveraging technology through e-commerce and digital marketing for business products and services facilitate SMEs to survive the pandemic.

Pengaruh Ekonomi Digital Terhadap Pendapatan UMKM Kota Serang dengan Literasi Digital Sebagai Variabel Moderasi

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises are one of the drivers of development and economic growth in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the influence of the digital economy on the income of Small Medium Enterprise Business in the city of Serang with digital literacy as a moderating variabel. Descriptive qualitative method is the method that I use in this research with the sample used is people who are registered as members of the “Rumah Kreatif BUMN” in Serang City and use internet media in their business activities both in promotional activities or transactions. The number of samples as respondents from this study amounted to 338 respondents. The analytical tool used was Smart PLS version 3.0. The results of this study prove that the digital economy has a positive and significant effect on the income of Small Medium Enterprise business in the city of Serang. And the role of digital literacy is significant in moderating the relationship between the two variabels. This indicates that the income of Small Medium Enterprise Business will increase if digital literacy is maximized.
