Hubungan antara Self Efficacy dengan Flow Academic terhadap Mata Pelajaran Matematika Siswa Kelas XII SMA Adabiah 2 Kota Padang

This study aims to explore the relationship between self efficacy and academic flow in mathematics subjects among grade XII students of SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. The independent variable in this study is self efficacy, while the dependent variable is academic flow. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, with a sample size of 135 grade XII students of SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. To test the validity and reliability, the Alpha Cronbach technique was used, with a self efficacy scale consisting of 15 items and a coefficient of 0.760, and an academic flow scale consisting of 17 items with a coefficient of 0.877. Data analysis was carried out using the parametric method using the Pearson product moment correlation technique, with the help of SPSS 27.0 software. The results of the analysis show a correlation coefficient of r = 0.536 and a p value of 0.000, which means the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. The findings of this study indicate a positive relationship between self-efficacy and academic flow in mathematics subjects in grade XII students of SMA Adabiah 2 Padang.

EFEKTIVITAS BOOKLET STRUKTUR DAN FUNGSI JARINGAN TUMBUHAN TERHDAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK FASE F SMA 2 ADABIAH PADANG

Background: Booklets can be produced through development research using the 4D model which consists of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Utari Akhir Agusti has developed a booklet until the develop stage, so further research is needed at the disseminate stage by conducting an effectiveness test as one of the steps of the disseminate stage. Methods: This research is a quasi-experiment research with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study were all students of class XI phase F SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique, so that phase F2 was selected as the experimental class and phase F5 as the control class. Research data in the form of learning outcomes of students in the cognitive domain. Data collection techniques using test techniques. The research instrument is a multiple choice test that has been valid and reliable. The data obtained were analyzed using the t test. Results: Based on the results of research on the cognitive domain shows the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. Data analysis using paired sample test, obtained sig value (0.000) < α value (0.05). Thus it can be concluded that the booklet of the structure and function of plant tissues effectively improves the learning outcomes of phase F students of Adabiah 2 Padang High School. Conclusion: Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the booklet of the structure and function of plant tissues effectively improves the learning outcomes of phase F students of Adabiah 2 Padang High School.

The Impact of Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) on Student Participation Based Jigsaw Learning Model

Participation is an important factor in achieving maximum learning in achieving learning goals. However, the level of student participation in learning is still relatively low. Therefore, efforts need to be made in the form of innovation in learning to increase student participation in learning, such as implementing LSLC based on the Jigsaw learning model. This research is a descriptive study with a sample of class XI IPS 1 SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. This research aims to see the impact of LSLC on student participation in learning using the Jigsaw learning model. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that for each meeting there was a significant increase in student participation. So it can be concluded that learning using LSLC and the Jigsaw learning model has a positive impact on student participation in learning.

An Analysis of Students’ Difficulties in Comprehending Hortatory Exposition Text at SMA Adabiah 2

The aims of this research are to describe students’ difficulties in comprehending hortatory exposition text at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. The subject of this research was the second year students of SMA Adabiah 2 Padang at 2022/2023 academic year. Out of 267 students, 20% of them were chosen to be the sample by using the cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected by using a reading test and interview guideline. The results of this research show that from 232 total frequent for each indicator, the highest percentage made by the students was in identifying language feature question. There were 130 total difficulties with the percentage 56, 03%. While the lowest percentage made by the students was in identifying thesis statement questions. There are 99 total difficulties with the percentage 42, 67%. Related to the cause of difficulties, it was the language factors that students difficult to understand the long sentence and vocabulary in the text, and the last factor was the lack of reading strategies. It can be concluded that the students of SMA Adabiah 2 find it difficult in comprehending hortatory exposition text. It proves that more than 50% of students cannot answer the question of hortatory exposition text correctly. It caused the student difficult to understand the long sentence and the vocabulary in the text and also the lack of reading strategies itself.

Peer Conformity in Terms of Gender

Peer conformity is one of the causes of problems that many students do at school. This study aims to describe peer conformity and differences in peer conformity in terms of gender. This research uses a quantitative method with a comparative descriptive research type. The population in this study were 631 students in grades X, XI, and XII SMA Adabiah Padang for the academic year 2022/2023 and a sample of 259 students was drawn using proportional random sampling. Collecting data in this study using a peer conformity questionnaire. Data were processed using descriptive analysis and t-test with the help of SPSS version 20. The results showed that peer conformity behavior at Adabiah Padang High School was in the "medium" category. There is a significant difference between students' peer conformity in terms of gender. Percentage of conformity among male students (57.9%) and female students (64.6%) with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000. The results of this study have implications for Guidance and Counseling service activities.

Opinions of Students on Counseling Teachers' Efforts in Improving Learning Outcomes Low achieving students

The purpose of this study was to describe students' opinions of the counseling teacher's efforts to improve the learning outcomes of low achieving students . The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with the technique of collecting funds using a questionnaire or questionnaire. The study population was all students of grades X and XI SMA Adabiah Padang totaling 575. The sample was drawn using a purposive sampling technique and was represented by 51 students. The results showed that the social self-concept of the youth at the Tunas Bangsa orphanage in Solok City in the orphanage environment was in the high category on average . This means that the views or assessments of the orphanage adolescents on their ability to interact with the leadership of the orphanage, the caretaker of the orphanage, and friends who live in the orphanage are positive. The social self-concept of the youth at the Tunas Bangsa orphanage in Solok City in the average school environment is in the high category . This means that the views or assessments of orphanage adolescents on their ability to interact with teachers, school personnel and friends at school are positive.

The Effect of Comic Strips and Motivation on the Senior High School Students’ Speaking Ability

Considering the importance of speaking ability for senior high school students in learning English as a foreign language, researchers continue developing approaches, methods, and media in teaching speaking. One of the media that can be used in teaching speaking English is comic strips. This study aimed to find out whether using comic strips and motivation have an effect on the speaking ability of the tenth grade senior high students at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. This study was conducted using an experimental method with factorial design 2x2. The population of the study was the tenth grade students at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang in the academic year 2021/2022. The total number of the population was 113 students, distributing in four classes. The sample was chosen using a cluster random sampling technique. The sample was Class X-2 as the control class (30 students) and Class X-3 as the experimental class (29 students). The data were obtained from the motivation questionnaire and speaking test. Then the data were analyzed using t-test and 2-way ANOVA. The results indicated that using comic strips and motivation had a significant effect on the students’ speaking ability. In conclusion, comic strips are a helpful media in teaching speaking English to senior high school students.

Pengembangan Objek 3D Holobox Berbasis Smartphone pada Mata Pelajaran Geografi Kelas X SMA

The problem with teaching material development study is that of geography learning, suggesting that the materials and media used are not optimal for learning. The teaching materials used use only texts and use oral methods, but the media used her PPT, but the PPT media does not achieve the learning objectives. The use of PPT media has drawbacks in the form of lack of study assignments, students are easily bored and do not study seriously. A lack of learning assignments leads to a lack of enthusiasm in these students, resulting in better student learning outcomes. adversely affected. Study aims to (1) describe the process of developing 3D holograms, (2) generate effective 3D holograms, (3) generate practical 3D holograms, and (4) generate effective learning outcomes. is intended for The type of research (R&D) used in the 4D (Four-D) model. Survey tools in the form of questionnaires and questions. used were in the form of validation media sheets, material validation sheets, and student response questionnaires, using pretests and posttests by subjects in Class X SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. The results of this study show a media validation result of 4.9 (98%) on a very valid basis. The material validation result was 4.6 (94% on very valid criteria). The student's assessment score was 4.41 (88%). Validity results showed a t-count of 7.66 with a t-table of 2.060, so the t-count result > t-table. This means that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after using 3D holographic media. The suitability of 3D holograms as a learning medium for geography .

Analysis of The Availability of HOTS Indicators On Physics Questions For Class X SMA Adabiah 2 Padang During The Covid 19 Pandemic

This study aims to determine the availability of HOTS indicators on Physics questions at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. This research instrument is an instrument that has been validated. The research method used is a documentary study with UTS and UAS assessment sheets for class X MIPA students. In this study, the results showed that the percentage value of the availability of the HOTS indicator on UTS questions was lower than UAS questions, with the percentage of UTS questions being 8% and the percentage on UAS questions being 24%.

Peningkatan Kapasitas Tanggap Bencana pada Siswa SMA Adabiah Padang

The city of Padang has a topography that is prone to flooding or inundation and other natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis. The city of Padang, which is located on the collision of the Indian Ocean Plate and the Australian Plate, which infiltrates under the Eurasian Plate, forms the Benioff Zone, an earthquake zone with seismicity of magnitude greater than five on the Richter scale. With the condition of the city of Padang, which is prone to disasters, community participation is very much needed, especially at the pre-disaster stage (disaster mitigation), during emergency response, and post-disaster because the community is directly dealing with disasters. Schools play an essential role and have several functions in disaster risk reduction including facilitating and collaborating with the surrounding environment, improving community skills, refugee shelter centres when a disaster occurs. Therefore, it was necessary to carry out activities that can increase the understanding and expertise of the young school community, especially students in disaster mitigation and disaster response. On November 12, 2021, this activity was held at SMA Adabiah Padang with 21 students. The methods used in the activity were disaster counselling, triage concept, vital sign monitoring and splinting. The activity results found an increase in student's knowledge after being given health education and increased students' abilities in triage and splinting.

The Effect of Emotional Intelligence and PAI Learning on Religious Behavior in SMA Adabiah 1 Padang, Indonesia

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and Islamic religious education learning on the religious behavior of students at SMA Adabiah I Padang. It is a field research (field research) using a quantitative approach and correlational methods with a population of all students in class XI and Class XII with the proportionate stratified random sampling technique, to obtain a sample of 86 students. Data were collected using a questionnaire and documentation and analysis techniques using the analysis requirements test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that first, emotional intelligence had a positive and significant influence on the Religious Behavior of Students at SMA Adabiah I Padang. This can be seen based on the value of the regression coefficient (b1) or slope of 0.504, and the value of Fount (28.606) is greater than Ftable (3.94), and the significance value (0.000) is smaller than the value of α = 0.05. While the contribution of Emotional Intelligence (X1) to religious behavior (Y) is 0.254 or 25.4%, secondly, Islamic Religious Education Learning has a positive and significant influence on the Religious Behavior of Students at SMA Adabiah I Padang. This can be seen based on the regression coefficient (b2) or slope of 0.0435, and the value of Fcount (22.293) is greater than Ftable (3.94), and the significance value (0.000) is smaller than the value of α = 0.05. While the contribution of Islamic Religious Education Learning to Religious Behavior is 0.21 or 21%, the three Emotional Intelligence and Learning Islamic Religious Education together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant influence on the Religious Behavior of Students at SMA Adabiah I Padang. This can be seen based on the value of the regression coefficient (b1) or slope of 0.005 and the value of the regression coefficient (b2) or slope of 0.005, and the value of Fcount (24.623) is greater than Ftable (3.09), and the significance value (0.000) is more. smaller than the value α = 0.05. While the contribution of Emotional Intelligence (X1) and Learning Islamic Religious Education (X2) together (simultaneously) to religious behavior (Y) is 0.372 or 37.2%.

Pelatihan Pembuatan Soal Matematika Berbasis CTL dan Penggunaan Aplikasi Pembelajaran Online di SMA Adabiah Padang

Mathematics is one of the subjects that students find difficult, especially for the mastery of realistic questions or in the form of story problems. These questions are included in CTL-based or contextual questions. Contextual problem is a question that links the material with real-world situations and encourages students to make connections between the material they teach and its application in their daily lives. Mathematics teacher at SMA Adabiah has difficulty designing CTL-based math problems. In addition, during this pandemic, teachers had difficulty giving questions online because face-to-face was not possible. For this reason, teachers are required to have creativity so that learning can be understood by students. Mathematics teachers are given training that supports this. The training that will be provided is in the form of making questions using an online learning application. Teachers who take part in the training are expected to be able to motivate and evaluate students' ability to work on contextual questions even though they are carried out online.

Relationship of Eating Behavior, Knowledge, Attitudes, Physical Activities, and Parent Support with Obesity Events in Adolescents in Padang City

BACKGROUND: A report from the West Sumatra Provincial Health Office in December 2017 showed increase in the percentage of overweight and obese children in the city of Padang. In 2014, overweight children amounted to 4.86% and an increase in 2016 to 6.44%. AIM: This study aimed to determine the most dominant risk factors affecting the incidence of obesity in adolescents in Padang City. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This study was conducted on 484 respondents from 4 (four) schools, namely SMPN 26, SMPIT Adzkia, SMAN 3, and SMA Adabiah Padang in December 2019-February 2020. Data analysis used the Chi-square test and multiple logistic regression tests. RESULTS: The multivariate analysis results showed that adolescents’ eating behavior variable was the most dominant factor affecting adolescents’ incidence of obesity with a significance value of p < 0.05 and Exp (B) 14.11. These results showed that adolescents who behave eat poorly at 14.11 times, have the risk of obesity more than adolescents who eat well. CONCLUSIONS: Adolescent eating behavior variables can predict the incidence of obesity in adolescents together with adolescent physical activity variables, adolescent attitudes, and adolescent knowledge.

INFLUENCE OF GIVING QUESTION AND GETTING ANSWER AS AN ACTIVE LEARNING MODEL CONTAINED SCIENCE LITERACY TO STUDENT LEARNING COMPETENCIES IN VIRUS MATERIAL SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Research on the problems that exist in Adabiah Padang Senior High School, student learning competencies are still low. The effort that can be done is to apply the active learning model giving questioan and getting answer type with literacy content of SMAN Adabiah Padang. The purpose of this study was to study learning through an active model of giving questioan and getting answer type with literacy at SMA Adabiah Padang. This type of research is experimental research with randomized posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA SMA Adabiah Padang registered in 2019/2020. Sampling was done using the Simple purposive sampling technique, which was chosen as the research sample was class X IPA.4 as the experimental class and X IPA.3 as the control class. The instrument used consisted of posttest questions for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for competencies and skills. The assessment hypothesis using the t-test, can prove the knowledge competency tcount 7,90>ttable 1.67, competency assessment value 84% with very good categories and competency skills value tcount 3.65>ttable 1.84. This is an accepted hypothesis. It was concluded that the cooperative model of giving questioan and getting answer type with literacy opposed the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class X IPA students of SMA Adabiah Padang.

PELAKSANAAN EKSTRAKURIKULER PADUAN SUARA DI SMA ADABIAH 2 PADANG

This study aims to describe the implementation of the choir extracurricular at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. This is a qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The research instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis was conducted by collecting the data, clarifying the data, and concluding the data. The results show that the implementation of choir extracurricular activity at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang run well due to the fact that it was conducted through the correct stages, starting from gathering students who were interested in choir extracurricular activities, scheduling, training agendas, and giving materials. In the implementation stage of the choir, students can sing the Ayam Den Lapeh song in a choir which consists of two voices, soprano and the alto voice. The choir extracurricular activity was held for the first time at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang, but the results are quite good because it was supported by sufficient facilities. Eventhough they do not have a permanent trainer, the teacher has been able to carry out these extracurricular activities well.Keywords: Implementation, Extracurricular, Choir

Perilaku Proaktif Siswa dalam Belajar di SMA

Proactive behavior is a concrete reflection of one's actions. This research is motivated by the existence of students who do not have proactive behavior in learning. This study aims to describe the proactive behavior of students in terms of freedom in choosing responses, ability to take initiative, and ability to take responsibility for students in learning at SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. This type of research is descriptive. The study population was 665 people with a sample of 203 students who were drawn using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is the percentage. The results showed that the proactive behavior of students in learning in terms of: (1) freedom in choosing responses was high, (2) ability to take initiative was high, and (3) ability to take responsibility was also high.

Self Adjustment of High School Students with Peers and Its Implications in Guidance and Counseling Service

Self Adjustment is an individual's effort to establish good relationships by changing circumstances that can change individuals to enter into a social environment in their interactions. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who have a low adjustment to their peers. This study aims to describe how the general picture of the adjustment of students with their peers is seen from the aspects of personal harmony, harmony with the environment and the ability to deal with tensions of conflict and frustration.This research uses descriptive quantitative research. The population in the study were all students of SMA Adabiah Padang, amounting to 587 students and the sample in this study amounted to 238 SMA Adabiah Padang students who were selected using proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire about students' adjustment to the Likert scale model. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical techniques.This study describes the adjustment of SMA Adabiah Padang students with their peers based on the following aspects: (1) personal harmony is in the medium category with a percentage (46%), (2) harmony with the environment is in the medium category with a percentage (41%) and ( 3) the ability to overcome conflict and frustration is in the medium category with a percentage (57%).

Pengaruh Motivasi Belajar dan Persepsi Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Terhadap Hasil Belajar

This study aims to determine how the influence of learning motivation and the perception of critical thinking skills on economic learning outcomes in class X IPS SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. This type of research is a causal descriptive and associative research using SPSS version 26. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and research documentation. The existing population of 102 students in sampling using proportional random sampling with a total of 82 students. The instrument trials used validity and reliability tests. Data analysis with descriptive and inductive analysis using the normality test, heterokedasticity test, multicollinearity test, multiple regression test and hypothesis test using the F test and t test. From the results of the study show: (1) Learning Motivation and Perception of Critical Thinking Ability together have a positive and significant influence on student economic learning outcomes seen from the value of sig. 0,000> 0.05. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of learning motivation on student economic learning outcomes seen from Sig. 0,000> 0.05. (3) There is no significant effect on the perception of critical thinking skills on economic learning outcomes seen from Sig. 0.946> 0.05. PELAKSANAANPEMBELAJARAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA DI SMA ADABIAH PADANG

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the implementation of learning speaking skills in class XII Natural Sciences Adabiah Padang. In this study, the implementation of learning includes three main components, namely: (1) learning material for speaking class XII SMA Adabiah Padang, (2) learning methods of speaking class XII SMA Adabiah Padang, and (3) evaluating speaking learning class XII SMA Adabiah Padang. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research was conducted in the SMA Adabiah Padang. The data in this study were observation, interviews, and study documentation about the understanding and implementation of learning speaking skills conducted by Indonesian language teachers at SMA Adabiah Padang, which were obtained from data sources. The techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Techniques used to analyze data are data identification, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research findings and research results, the following three things can be concluded. (1) The use of learning materials in SMA Adabiah Padang has implemented learning materials with excellent categories. Teaching material is selected and determined with consideration and attention to problems, including (a) the objectives to be achieved to be relevant, (b) the level of students' thinking ability, (c) the scope (scope) and sequences need to be arranged so that it is systematic and clearly, and (d) time and equipment are also considered. (2) The application of learning methods in SMA Adabiah Padang has implemented the learning methods in very good categories because it has used many methods in the learning process such as the question and answer method, lectures, assignments, discussions, and demonstrations. (3) The evaluation of learning in SMA Adabiah Padang is good. The teacher evaluates speaking skills with the appropriate aspects, namely intonation, pronunciation, fluency, expression, appearance, and gesture. KORELASI KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN DENGAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS TEKS EKSPLANASI SISWA KELAS XI SMA ADABIAH PADANG

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describe comprehension reading skills. Second, describe explanatory text writing skills. Third, describe the correlation of reading comprehension skills with explanatory text writing skills of class XI students of SMA Adabiah Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design of this study is correlational design. The study population was registered in 2018/2019, which is 287 students. The research sample was proportional random sampling of 20% of the population of 57 students. The research data is in the form of scores on the results of comprehension reading skills tests and scores on the results of explanatory text writing skills. The instrument of this study was an objective test to measure comprehension reading skills and performance tests to measure writing skills. The results of this study are three. First, reading comprehension skills of class XI students of SMA Adabiah Padang are of good qualification (B). Second, explanatory text writing skills of class XI students of SMA Adabiah Padang are of good qualification (B). Third, there is a correlation of reading comprehension skills with explanatory text writing skills with n-1 freedom degrees at the 95% confidence level. The value of tcount (38.54) is greater than t table (1.66) that is tcount> ttable (38.54> 1.68) thus H0 is rejected and H1. Based on the results of these studies it was concluded that reading comprehension skills correlated with explanatory text writing skills.
