The development and implementation of social controlling in management practice is linked to the increasing role of the social responsibility of companies, particularly oil and gas companies, towards society, the state, their employees and consumers. Today the main task of social controlling is to ensure continuous monitor-ing of activities, including social factors, at all levels of the management of the organization. The aim of this article is to analyze the social factors of the effectiveness of the management system in the organization. A three-year sociological study was carried out in order to determine the level of satisfaction with the management sys-tem, the organization of work and the social environment, the level of trust in the company and the relationship between these factors and the effectiveness of management in the context of social controlling. Skillful use of the data obtained will allow the heads of structural divisions to more effectively use the social factors of the working environment of the personnel to increase their return in the process of labor activity. Skilful use of the obtained data will allow managers of structural subdivisions to make more effective use of the social factors of the working environment of the personnel, to increase their efficiency in the process of work activity.
