The group contains professionals in the fields of Nursing, Physiotherapy, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Hebiatrics, Journalism, Paediatrics, Psychology, Psychoanalysis, Psychiatry and Urology, who aim to conduct an ongoing study on topics related to sexuality: the pregnancy-puerperal cycle (sexuality in gestation and family planning); sex education in childhood and adolescence; female sexuality (desire, excitement, orgasm, vaginismus and dyspareunia); male sexuality (premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction); conjugal relationships and assisted reproductive aspects; family and its new configurations; menopause and andropause; diversity and sexual violence. The group met at the first meeting. The second meeting was moderated by a psychiatrist with the topic of Transsexuality. This subject was deeply debated and brought to light the situation of disrespect, prejudice and social exclusion of the transsexual population, and solutions having emerged as training for groups of professionals to clarify and support families and welcoming social networks for abandoned transsexuals. The third meeting will be mediated by a gynaecologist with the theme of Painful Disorders of Female Sexuality. We are organising a timetable with upcoming events and issues to be discussed.
