Selection of Flour Suppliers as the Main Ingredient of Onion Crackers Using the Interpretive Structural Modeling Method and Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique

Raw materials are very important because raw materials are something that will determine whether the products produced are good and by the wishes of consumers or not, so it is necessary to pay attention to the provider of raw materials, namely the supplier of raw materials. The purpose of this research is to be able to find out the best suppliers by relying on the criteria that are the key criteria. In this study, the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) and Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) methods were used. The ISM method is useful for sorting out the criteria used so that it is obtained only in the form of key criteria while the SMART method is useful for determining the best supplier based on the existing key criteria. The results of this study are obtained from 9 key criteria out of 12 criteria used, namely quality criteria, delivery of goods, price of goods, communication system, control in operation, service improvement, attitude, packaging ability, and geographical location. The supplier that has the highest criteria based on the key criteria used is Sinar Terang supplier with a score of 0.5895 followed by Cece (0.555), Av (0.555), Aroma (0.5305), Harapan (0.5155), and finally Laris (0.4005).

PENERAPAN METODE SMART (SIMPLE MULTI ATRIBUTTE RATING TECHNIQUE) DALAM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN WARISAN BUDAYA TAKBENDA PROVINSI BENGKULU BERBASIS WEBSITE

This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) that can provide recommendations for the intangible cultural heritage of Bengkulu Province in accordance with the proposed determination of intangible cultural heritage. This system was designed using UML and implemented in the PHP programming language. This system will determine the recommended intangible cultural heritage using the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method. After that, a ranking of intangible cultural heritage recommendations was carried out according to the criteria for the determination form, photos/images, videos, studies, management and substance of intangible cultural heritage using the SMART method. The output of this system is a ranking of recommendations for intangible cultural heritage according to existing alternatives. Application of SMART Method and Dashboard Visualization for Student Code of Conduct Violations

In order to handle student discipline infractions at school, this project intends to design a decision support system (DSS) based on the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) technique integrated with a graphical dashboard. A variety of visual tools, such as scatter plots, heatmaps, pie charts, bar charts, and line charts, are used to evaluate and display violation data. This integration's primary goals are to make monitoring and analysis faster and more efficient and to support decision-making with regard to student infractions. The findings demonstrate how the SMART approach and visualization dashboard can be used to manage violation data more effectively, provide a better knowledge, and speed up reactions to infractions. This technique makes it easier for schools to spot trends in infractions, choose the best course of action for corrective measures, and enhance overall student discipline. It is anticipated that this system will enable discipline management in a learning environment in an efficient manner.

Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique untuk Pendukung Keputusan Pemberian Sanksi Siswa

As one of the schools that advances the courtesy of MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan concludes facing the challenge of monitoring and dealing with student violations effectively and efficiently. In this case, MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan has a student order as a reference to discipline his students. The madrasah seriousness of the need to monitor students in committing violations is very low and is still undigitalized. The research aims to design an application that can monitor student violations and support decisions to sanction students who violate order. The method used in this research is the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART). This method has five stages, namely, determining the number of criteria, giving weight to each criterion, normalizing the value of the criterions, giving value to each alternative, and calculating the final value. The data set processed in this study comes from the student problem book in MAN 1 Summary of the 2023/2024 school year. The dataset consists of 147 student violations records. The data sets will be tested calculations manually with calculations using the application. The results of this study show that the application can record student violations well. The result of manual calculations with the calculations on the application has similar results. From the calculation results, the highest final score a student gets is 24 points. The sanctions are given according to the points earned, namely, collecting garbage. Therefore, this research can help Teacher Counseling in monitoring student violations and make the reporting process to the Chief Madrasah faster and more accurate. Applications only help make decisions by providing information or alternative solutions to existing problems. The final decision remains with the decision maker.

Decision support system for urban river water quality as a source of clean water using the SMART method

Abstract Rivers play an essential role as vital water sources with roles spanning sanitation, hygiene, drinking, and agriculture, particularly in rural areas. However, Kabupaten Sleman’s river water quality, including its Kabupaten Sleman region in Yogyakarta, has severely degraded due to pollution from solid and liquid sources. Chemical contaminants have rendered the water unsafe, posing health risks. The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the water quality in the rivers of Bedog and Sembung located in Kabupaten Sleman. This evaluation utilizes Water Quality Criteria from the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulations Number 82 of 2001, alongside assigned weights. The research employs a diverse range of methodologies, including in-depth literature analysis, meticulous field observation, interviews, and comprehensive water quality assessment. A Decision Support System is adeptly employed as a strategic tool to grapple with the intricate facets inherent in the issue, thereby formulating pragmatic resolutions that facilitate judicious decision-making across diverse contexts. In addressing the dimension of water quality for communities along the Bedog and Sembung rivers, the study seamlessly integrates the SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) approach. SMART’s agility in steering multi-attribute decisions expedites the decision-making process. SMART’s computational outcomes yield values of 0.304 and 0.395 for the Bedog and Sembung Rivers, respectively, both falling within the 0 to 0.49 range. This collective conclusion indicates that neither river meets the criteria for clean water quality, making it unsuitable for activities like sanitation, hygiene, drinking, and agriculture. The study underscores the urgency of rectifying river water quality, particularly in urban settings, to ensure safe and sustainable water sources for communities. The seamless integration of SMART as a decision-making tool amplifies the potential for effective interventions in navigating water quality management complexities.

Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Siswa Berprestasi menggunakan Metode Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique berbasis Web

As one of the private schools in Makassar, Elim Christian High School, the assessment process carried out by teachers on students is still done manually or by recording. Reviewing the assessment of students with academic achievements includes assessments in several subjects as well as non-academic achievements in terms of arts, sports and extracurricular activities. This research aims to design a decision support system application that can assist teachers in managing final grades to determine students with academic and non-academic achievements using a web-based application, using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique Method. The research model included is the SDLC model which starts from analysis, design, implementation, testing and evaluation. Analyze student data and teacher grades. The implementation section creates a web-based application that can carry out the process of selecting the best students. Testing uses black box testing which tests all menus, ensuring the output and functionality are appropriate. The data analysis technique entered is quantitative analysis. Where, quantitative analysis in the form of data is obtained by collecting student data and their grades. The findings are in the form of an application that helps teachers provide recommendations for students who excel both academically and non-academicly in the specified assessment categories. By implementing the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique method in implementing the decision support system application, it makes it easier for teachers to determine outstanding students.

Implementasi Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique untuk Menentukan Kelayakan Pengajuan Kredit Mobil

Increasing consumer demand for car loans requires finance companies to make quick and accurate decisions, so there are obstacles such as sufficient time in deciding whether to accept or reject loan applications by consumers. The purpose of this study is to create a decision support system using the simple multi-attribute rating technique (SMART) to assist in determining the feasibility of car loans. This study used a quantitative approach. The system built applies a waterfall model with stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The analysis is carried out to find the needs of the system created, with design using UML, including class diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and interface design. The implementation phase was carried out at Indomobil Finance Kisaran using consumer sample data from observations and interviews. System testing uses black box testing to see the performance of the system created. Our findings are that there need to be improvements to the data processing process and the duration of time for making decisions on accepting or rejecting car loans submitted by consumers. From the results of black box testing, no system failure was found, so the system is designed to run well and by expectations is to help the company determine the feasibility of car loans submitted by consumers with fast and accurate results.

Monogenic Obesity in Children: Current Perspectives and Clinical Implications

Introduction: Monogenic obesity is characterized by a mutation in a single gene, which directly influences metabolism, appetite control or other biological pathways associated with body weight regulation. Objective: To provide practical insights for healthcare professionals working with affected children to improve health outcomes and quality of life. Methods: This study constitutes a systematic review, classified as exploratory and descriptive. The preparation of the research was a bibliographical search in electronic databases on methods associated with RSL (Systematic Literature Review) and the applications of SMARTER (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique using Exploiting Rankings). Results: A comprehensive systematic search of the literature yielded a total of 4125 articles referring to the incidence of obesity and overweight in adolescents, of which 20 articles were eligible to be included in this systematic review. Conclusion: With a continued and coordinated effort, it is possible to significantly improve health outcomes for these children, preparing them for a brighter future.

The thyroid hormones, triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4), play essential roles in regulating basal metabolism and cardiovascular function Objective: To provide a comprehensive understanding of the various cardiac complications associated with hyperthyroidism and their clinical implications. Methods: This study constitutes a systematic review, classified as exploratory and descriptive. The preparation of the research was a bibliographical search in electronic databases on methods associated with RSL (Systematic Literature Review) and the applications of SMARTER (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique using Exploiting Rankings). Results: A comprehensive systematic search of the literature yielded a total of 5689 articles referring to the incidence of obesity and overweight in adolescents, of which 20 articles were eligible to be included in this systematic review. Conclusion: Continuous research and therapeutic innovation play vital roles in the evolution of the treatment of hyperthyroidism and its cardiovascular complications. The development of personalized approaches that consider the genetic and clinical particularities of each patient can significantly improve quality of life and reduce associated morbidity and mortality.

Comparative Analysis of SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) Method, WP (Weight Product), and SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) for Sacrificial Sheep Selection.

In implementing urban worship, it is often difficult for shohibul qurban to determine the quality of urban animals because it has several criteria/requirements that must be met so that the animals are sacrificed according to sharia. This study aims to analyze the decision support system method for selecting qurban animals using the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting), WP (Weight Product), and SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) methods. The results showed that the WP method has an accuracy rate of 99.998% so this method is the most feasible to use for the selection of sacrificial sheep when compared to the SMART and SAW methods with the calculation results in the level of suitability at 99.994% for the SAW method and 99.876% for the SMART method. Sheep 4 has the highest weight ranking of other sheep in all methods, scoring 0.923 in the SAW method, 0.1727 in the WP method, and 17.8 in the SMART method. Sheep 4 criteria is the ideal criteria for a sacrificial animal.

Permanent Employee Assessment Decision Support System using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) Method

Every agency or organization must be able to select and determine competent employees to fill vacant positions so that the main duties of that position can be carried out. To obtain information quickly and accurately about the assessment of permanent employees in accordance with the expected criteria, a decision support system is needed. Objective decisions are usually fair because they are in accordance with the facts and supported by data to produce a decision/recommendation that can make things easier for agency or organization leaders. By using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method, it is hoped that it can help in making decisions about evaluating permanent employees. The SMART method uses a multiattribute decision technique which is used to support decision makers in choosing between several alternatives. This research aims to assist the leadership of the West Sumatra Ministry of Religion in making decisions regarding permanent employee recommendations for employees. The method used in this research is qualitative. Based on the test results, a weighting system is produced that takes into account the assessment factors that exist in employees. The results of the assessments that have been carried out will immediately produce data on employees who have competencies worthy of being promoted to a better career level. In the research, 6 criteria were used, namely cooperation , work ability, work discipline, loyalty, responsibility and communication. With 5 alternative data, calculations were carried out using the SMART method, the result that got the highest score was Endang Mesfitra with a final result of 0.7425. With the research results, the application can help leaders in providing assessments and the results of these assessments produce objective decisions so that leaders can recommend employees according to the criteria

Extension of simple multi-attribute rating technique in uncertainty environment for 5G industry evaluation: Egyptian new administrative capital as a case study

As is well-known, multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) approaches can aid decision-makers in identifying the optimal alternative based on predetermined criteria. However, it is a big challenge to apply this approach in complex applications such as 5th generation (5G) industry assessment because criteria are challenging and trade-offs between them are hard. Also, assessment of the 5G industry involve strong uncertainty. So, this study is the first to evaluate the 5G industry using a new neutrosophic simple multi-attribute rating technique (N-SMART). Since neutrosophic set considers truth-degree, indeterminacy-degree, and falsity-degree, it is a more accurate instrument for evaluating uncertainty. The 5G assessment issue exemplifies the validity and great performance of our proposed method as: (1) its ability to deal with uncertainty phenomena; (2) its simplicity; and (3) its enhanced capacity to discern alternatives. Also, by considering the 5G service provided in the Egyptian New Administrative capital as a case study, the results showed that Ericsson 5G is the best choice and Nokia 5G is the worst choice.

Multi-criteria decision analysis framework for engaging stakeholders in river pollution risk management

Water pollution presents a substantial environmental challenge with extensive implications for water resources, ecosystem sustainability, and human health. Using a South African catchment, this study aimed to provide watershed managers with a framework for selecting best management practices (BMPs) to reduce pollution and the related risk to river users, while also including the perspectives of key catchment stakeholders. The framework encompassed the identification of and consultation with key stakeholders within the catchment. A Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) methodology using the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique for Enhanced Stakeholder Take-up (SMARTEST) was used to identify and prioritise suitable BMPs in a case study. Decision alternatives and assessment criteria as well as their weights were derived based on stakeholder responses to a two-stage survey. Stakeholders included those utilising the river for domestic and recreational purposes, municipal representatives, scientists, NGOs, and engineers. The assessment of decision alternatives considered environmental, economic, and social criteria. The aggregated scores for decision alternatives highlighted the significance of involving stakeholders throughout the decision process. This study recommends the pairing of structural and non-structural BMPs. The findings provide valuable insights for catchment managers, policymakers, and environmental stakeholders seeking inclusive and effective pollution mitigation strategies in a catchment.

Introduction: The rural worker, in his work activity, uses the extensor muscles of the lumbar spine in a large number of his actions, and when the abdominal muscles reduce their strength and an imbalance occurs between the flexor and extensor muscles of the trunk, which can result in a backache. Objective: To demonstrate the correlation between the work activity of rural workers and low back pain. Methods: This study constitutes a systematic review, classified as exploratory and descriptive. The preparation of the research was a bibliographical search in electronic databases on methods associated with RSL (Systematic Literature Review) and the applications of SMARTER ( Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique using Exploiting Rankings ). Results: A comprehensive systematic search of the literature yielded a total of 852 articles referring to the correlation between low back pain and rural workers, of which 14 articles were eligible to be included in this systematic review. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of integrated and personalized approaches to reduce the risks and impacts of this condition on the health and well-being of rural workers.

Decision Analysis to Find Best Solution of Operation and Maintenance Management System in Central Processing Plant (CPP) Gundih Using The SMART Method at PT. Pertamina EP

Central Processing Plant (CPP) Gundih is a gas field owned by PT. Pertamina EP Cepu Field area which is located in Blora Regency, Central Java. The gas produced by the CPP Gundih is channelled to the Tambak Lorok Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU) with a capacity of 1,469MW in the Semarang City area, Central Java. Therefore, the CPP Gundih is a vital national object that supports national energy security, especially for the Central Java area. CPP Gundih first operated in 2013 with the operation and maintenance management system being fully handled by a third party with a contract term of one decade. In the coming year, the contract system will approach the end of the collaboration so that PT. Pertamina EP needs more efficient management schemes and strategies and more agile business processes. In the past decade, there have been several evaluations that have become a concern for companies in implementing contract systems with third parties. These obstacles mean that several aspects are not managed well and result in problems that reduce the level of customer satisfaction, decrease profits, and increase operational and maintenance costs. So that PT. Pertamina EP is considering several options for better management of the CPP Gundih in the future, namely the option of detailing third party contracts in the future, the option of transferring management by PT. Pertamina EP partially, full management transfer option by PT. Pertamina EP without any third-party involvement. From several proposed options, the author will use the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method to select the best option by considering aspects of Cost, Durability and Plant Availability, Manpower Competency Management, Remuneration, Communication Flow, and Integrated Work Procedure. The research results obtained from this method will become a reference for the PT management team. Quality of Life and Health Profile in Individuals with Parkinson’s – Systematic Review

Introduction: The latest research on quality of life in Parkinson's patients has emphasized the importance of a comprehensive approach to the care of these individuals. In addition to motor symptoms, non-motor aspects such as sleep disorders, depression, anxiety, cognitive changes and communication difficulties play a crucial role in the general health and well-being of these patients. Objective: Analyze and synthesize the available evidence on the quality of life and health profile in individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Methods: This study constitutes a systematic review, classified as exploratory and descriptive. The preparation of the research was a bibliographical search in electronic databases on methods associated with RSL (Systematic Literature Review) and the applications of SMARTER (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique using Exploiting Rankings). The study methodology is a systematic, exploratory and descriptive review, using qualitative and quantitative methods. The bibliographic search covered several databases, with well-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis was conducted by three independent researchers. Results and discussion: The results revealed 1659 articles, 18 of which were included in the review. The discussion of the findings of the current article can be enriched by a comprehensive analysis of the existing literature that explores various facets of quality of life (QoL) in individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD). Several studies have investigated different dimensions, providing insights into the factors that influence QoL in PD patients. Conclusion: The findings gathered emphasize the importance of a comprehensive and personalized approach in the treatment of PD, considering not only motor symptoms, but also psychosocial and nutritional aspects and the external context. This integrated approach can serve as a basis for developing more effective strategies to improve QoL in individuals with PD and provide more comprehensive and adaptable support throughout the course of the disease.

An outstanding debt collector must have presence, honesty, teamwork and achievement to improve the debt collector's performance. Problems in selecting outstanding debt collectors at PT. Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Medan is an election team that finds it difficult to carry out elections quickly and accurately. The decision making technique in the SMARTER (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Ranks) method is based on the theory that each alternative consists of a number of criteria that have values ​​and each criterion has a weight that describes how important it is compared to other criteria. Application of the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Rank method for selecting outstanding debt collectors at PT. Comparison of TOPSIS and SMARTER Methods in Selecting Delivery Services

The rapid growth of the e-commerce world has propelled the demand for freight forwarding services, a pivotal component in maintaining the smooth flow of this business. Major companies like JNE, TIKI, Kantor Pos Indonesia, SiCepat, and J&T Express are involved. However, despite this convenience, various challenges often accompany the shipping process. Some of these include delayed deliveries, lost or damaged items, or even misdeliveries to the wrong customers. This presents a dilemma for leading e-commerce companies in selecting the most suitable delivery service partner. Hence, a decision support model is necessary in choosing a freight forwarding service. This study will outline comparison methods based on both Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Ranks (SMARTER). The proposed methods have strong relevance to the rapid growth of the e-commerce world. This research emphasizes the importance of selecting freight forwarding services in maintaining the smooth operation of e-commerce businesses. The results of this study have obtained ranking results from the final value of each method. The first place in the TOPSIS method with a value of 0.7033 at sensitivity 3 and the lowest in the SMARTER method with a value of 0.1303 at the first sensitivity, and at the second sensitivity, all methods have the same value of 0.2. The conclusion is that TOPSIS is the best method compared to the SMARTER method as a decision support for the selection of freight forwarding services.

Prevention is crucial and involves specific training, use of appropriate equipment and innovative strategies. Objective: Check current challenges in preventing ankle injuries in athletes. Methods: This study constitutes a systematic review, classified as exploratory and descriptive. The preparation of the research was a bibliographical search in electronic databases on methods associated with RSL (Systematic Literature Review) and the applications of SMARTER (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique using Exploiting Rankings). The study methodology is a systematic, exploratory and descriptive review, using qualitative and quantitative methods. The bibliographic search covered several databases, with well-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis was conducted by three independent researchers. Results and Discussion: The results revealed 399 articles, 11 of which were included in the review. Various studies addressed diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic methods. Interventions such as weight-bearing MRI, neuromuscular training programs, low-friction adhesives and proprioceptive training stand out. The understanding of radiographic patterns and the analysis of innovative techniques, which enrich the preventive approach. Conclusion: The conclusion highlights important insights, highlighting the need for more comprehensive research, standardization and long-term studies.
