Many of our states have not yet included pneumonokoniosis in their compensation schedules. In these states a furious battle is being fought in the courts, into which medical men are being drawn by both sides. The physician who is suddenly projected into the "no man's land," which is the territory of the expert medical witness, finds himself between two fires.
