ABSTRACTThe authors present the impact of different spillover hydrogen receptors on the hydrogen spillover, and the role of hydrogen spillover and the acidity of spillover hydrogen receptors on benzene hydrogenation reaction. Pt/NaA catalysts ere mechanically mixed with HY, Hβ, ZSM-5, MCM-41, Al2O3, and SiO2 as spillover hydrogen receptors. It can be inferred that high silica-alumina ratio and BET specific surface area are both conductive to hydrogen spillover. These two factors play a synergistic role. The conversion rate of benzene depends on the action of spillover hydrogen and acidity of hydrogen spillover receptor, which perform a synergistic effect on benzene hydrogenation catalytic reaction.
