In modern business conditions, the problem of finding advanced tools to improve the efficiency of enterprises and management of all processes has been relevant. The methodological basis of the study has consisted of scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists, analytical materials on the research problem. The article provides a theoretical justification for the essence of crowdfunding as an economic category. Crowd technologies have been proven to be ways, methods, and tools to pool the resources of an interested group of people to solve various problems based on the use of virtual platforms. As a result of the study, the following types of crowd technologies have been identified in the activities of enterprises: crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, crowd work, crowd recruiting, crowd staffing, crowd training, crowdlending, crowd investing, crowd marking. Crowdsourcing is the organized work of a large number of like-minded people, which aims to solve key problems by incorporating innovative ideas. Crowdfunding is the collaboration of people (donors) who voluntarily pool their money or other resources, usually over the Internet, to support the efforts of other people or organizations (recipients). Crowd work – attracting labor from the outside to speed up production processes. This method involves performing paid, short-term tasks that are transmitted over Internet platforms. Crowd recruiting is the selection of qualified employees for a project to employ them permanently. Crowdstaffing – a technology of search and selection of personnel based on the involvement of external recruiters to work on a specialized virtual platform, to assess candidates for vacant positions. Crowdtraining is a method of staff training, which is based on the analysis and justification of the evaluation of the proposed options for solving the problem by other participants in the process and the development of their own ideas. Crowdlending is a modern crowdfunding technology that is carried out online by providing credit for investment projects of individuals and legal entities basis on an Internet platform. Crowdinvesting – investing funds and getting the maximum benefit from investing in a project – the object of crowdfunding. Crowd marketing is the management of a wide range of consumers in a community to pursue a company's commercial interests. The main advantages and disadvantages of the outlined crowd technologies are substantiated and the directions of their use in the activity of enterprises are indicated. It is proved that the main areas of application of crowdfunding in the activities of enterprises can have been considered such as production, marketing, investment, innovation, finance, and administration.
