COOPERATIVE LANGUAGE LEARNING IN SPEAKING CLASS

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Cooperative Language Learning in speaking class during online class. Several challenges regarding technology-based teaching during this such as technology is isolating, learner interaction is limited, boredom, and low motivation. Cooperative language learning is one of teaching strategy that could be implemented in online class. a teaching and learning strategy that emphasizes shared attitudes or behavior in working or helping among students. Descriptive qualitative used in this study with sample from student on the first semester. It can be expressed that by implementing cooperative language learning in speaking class showed great enthusiasm from all the students. Through this method, Cooperative learning can develop the ability to express ideas or ideas with words verbally and compare them with other friends ideas, aware of all limitations and accept all differences, empower each student to be more responsible in learning develop students' ability to test their own ideas and understanding, receive feedback., and nteraction during the cooperative can increase motivation and provide stimulation to think.

Intelligent Leadership and Its Effect on Knowledge Sharing Behavior among Academic Staff in Kenyan Universities

Purpose: The main is to assess the impact of intelligent leadership in Kenyan universities on knowledge sharing behavior. Approach/Methodology/Design: The research was motivated by Path Target Theory. An explanatory research design was adopted with a positivism approach. The target population consisted of 6400 and a selection of 366 academic workers from 14 chattered Nairobi County Kenyan universities. The study used a stratified technique to select the academic staff of the university into 14 strata representing each university in Nairobi County, Kenya, using simple random sampling. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used for analysis while hypotheses were tested using multiple regression. Findings: The regression results indicated that emotional leadership (β = 0.37, p<0.05) and spiritual leadership (β = 0.11, p<0.05). Practical Implications: In addition, this study recommends that intelligent leadership in the sharing of knowledge is necessary in order for university leaders to consider leadership areas in university. Originality/value: The study concluded that a high percentage of intelligent leadership results in improved behavior of sharing employee knowledge that is essential to transform Kenyan universities and drive the behavior of sharing knowledge.

Knowledge Sharing, Individualism, Collectivism, and Organizational Innovative Behaviour in Public Health Organizations

This paper focuses on investigating the more innovative employees, i.e., individualists or collectivists, in the public sector when it comes to knowledge sharing and organizational culture. The study adopted quantitative research technique and data was collected through an online survey. A field study was conducted and data was obtained from 480 employees working in Pakistan's two major public health institutions so as to test the study's hypotheses. A hierarchical linear regression model was used to test the hypotheses. The results show that there is a significant positive influence of organizational-based knowledge sharing, individual-based knowledge sharing, collectivism, and individualism on organizational innovative behaviour in the organizations. This study also found a significant positive impact of collectivism and individualism as moderators on organizational innovative behaviours. The study further concluded that collectivism has a higher positive impact on organizational innovative behaviour in comparison to individualism.

Effect of Teachers’ Knowledge Sharing Behavior on Students’ Entrepreneurial Motivation in Social Media Environment

The improvement of social media network and the enrichment of social media make the communication of modern people more convenient, break through the limitations of time and space, and meet the knowledge sharing between different groups. This study provides a model framework for teachers to promote students' entrepreneurial motivation through knowledge sharing. Through the questionnaire survey, the sample data of 111 teachers and students in 5 higher vocational colleges in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province were collected. Through path analysis and mediation effect analysis, the four hypotheses of the model are analyzed and tested. The results show that the overall Cronbach coefficient of the questionnaire is 0.935, which has high reliability. Kaiser – Meyer – Olkin (kmo) value is 0.884, greater than 0.8. Research data information is very suitable for extracting information. Teachers' knowledge sharing can not play a direct and positive role in students' entrepreneurial motivation. Knowledge reciprocity between teachers and students can promote students' entrepreneurial motivation. The results of this study have important reference value for fully understanding how teachers' knowledge sharing behavior stimulates students' entrepreneurial motivation.

The Relationship between Knowledge Sharing Behavior and Innovative Work Behavior through Innovation Self-Efficacy as Mediator

Abstract: Purpose: This study focuses on the role of innovation self-efficacy as a mediator in the relationship between knowledge sharing behavior and innovative work behavior. Research methodology: This research was conducted on 306 students from 14 faculties who were taking second to last semester. This study was measured using the Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) scale developed by (Janssen, 2000) Knowledge Sharing Behavior (KSB) developed by (Chen, Chen, & Kinshuk, 2009), and Innovation Self-Efficacy (ISE.6) developed by (Dungs, Sheppard, & Chen, 2017) The sampling method in this study used non-probability sampling with a convenience sampling technique. The statistical analysis technique used PROCESS through IBM SPSS version 21. Results: The results showed that innovation self-efficacy had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between knowledge sharing behavior and innovative work behavior. Limitations: The limitation in this study is that the effect of mediation is still partial mediation so it is hoped that further research can examine other mediator variables that have a stronger influence. Contribution: This research contributes to institutions, companies, or governments to develop programs or activities that aim to improve an individual's innovative work behaviors. Keywords: 1. Two studies of the perceptions of risk, benefits and likelihood of undertaking password management behaviours

ABSTRACT Passwords remain the most common form of authentication in the digital world. People have increasing numbers of passwords, and many people undertake risky password management behaviours such as re-using passwords, writing them down and sharing them. It is unclear whether people persist in these behaviours because they do not understand the risks involved or the benefits of the behaviour outweigh the risk. Two studies investigated the relationships between people's perceptions of the risks and benefits of a range of password management behaviours and their self-reports of their likelihood of undertaking them. The first study involved 120 MTurkers in the U.S.A., the second study involved 128 respondents from 26 different countries including approximately 50% students. In both studies, respondents took rated the risks, benefits and likelihood of undertaking 15 password management behaviours. The two very different samples provided very similar results, validating our classification of password management behaviours into four components: Storing, Sharing, Loggingn and Change behaviours. Somecomponents were more affected by perceptions of the benefits, others were equally affected by the perceptions of the risks and the benefits. These results have implications for how information about risky password behaviours is presented to users and general education about password security.

Customer Benefits and Sharing Behaviour in Video Streaming Services: The Mediation Effect of Value Creation

Online video streaming services have become popular. This study aims to examine subscribers’ sharing behaviour on online digital video platforms. In almost all online channels, sharing behaviour has gained importance. Platforms may more simply and successfully reach their target audiences or consumers through sharing. On the other hand, customers may attend to value creation due to the benefits they gain from using goods and services. Marketers must comprehend how value creation is affected by customer benefits. This study is among the first studies examining the relationships between customer benefits, value creation, and sharing behaviour. Questionnaire-based research was employed to examine the foundation and framework-related hypotheses. Data was collected through the online survey forms. The data was obtained from 363 online streaming service paid users. The Structural Equation Model was performed using SPSS Amos 20 to test hypotheses. The statistical significance of the model’s estimations was tested using a single-step mediator model with a bootstrapping procedure. According to the findings, there was a significant relationship between customer benefits and instrumental value. However, there were very weak relationships between functional and psychosocial benefits and instrumental value. Financial benefit and instrumental value had a stronger relationship. Significant relationships were found between the variables customer benefits and terminal value. There was no significant relationship between instrumental value and sharing behaviour. As a result, there was no instrumental value-mediated relationship between customer benefits and sharing behaviour. The relationship between customer benefits and sharing behaviour, on the other hand, has been found to be mediated by terminal values. Functional and financial benefits and sharing behaviour did not directly and significantly relate. But this relationship became significant through terminal values (indirect-only mediation). Psychosocial benefits and sharing behaviour were directly and significantly related. It has been noted, nonetheless, that this relationship was strengthened by terminal value. The findings were assessed in light of the prior studies in the discussion section. In this section, some potential directions were suggested for future research.

Knowledge Sharing Motivation, Behavior, and Creativity of Knowledge Workers in Virtual Organizations

Focusing on the basic research subject of “seeking effective ways to enhance knowledge workers’ creativity,” this paper has surveyed a total of 208 employees from 11 Chinese high‐tech enterprises. Based on review and analysis of relevant literature, this paper has constructed a moderating effect model including mediating factors relying on the social cognitive theory and tested the model by hierarchical multiple regression. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between knowledge sharing motivation and creativity of members in a virtual organization. Knowledge sharing behavior plays a partial mediating role between knowledge sharing motivation and creativity, and self‐efficacy moderates the complete mediating effect of knowledge sharing behavior on the relationship between knowledge sharing motivation and creativity. These conclusions enrich the theory of the relationship between knowledge sharing motivation and creativity, and enable enterprises to understand the importance of employees’ knowledge sharing motivation and the ways to stimulate employees’ creativity by activating their knowledge sharing behavior.

Volatilities in Market Shares through Financial Fundamentals for Global Automobile Industry

The proposition defined for this study is investigating the volatile behavior of automobile market share of top manufacturing nations in the presence of financial fundamentals; the time series data of market shares of the top 26 automobile manufacturing industry nations from 2002-2014 were calculated from the collected data of automotive sales of stated nations while stated automotive sales data were collected from the data stream (EIKON) whereas, the change in closing shares prices and trading volume of stocks (financial fundamentals) for the same stated period of these nations were collected from the Yahoo! Finance. The GARCH 1,1 process was used and the findings confirmed that there is no GARCH 1,1 process in any of the given series as the ARCH and GARCH terms are found insignificant in the presence of stated conditional variables. Therefore, lagged autoregressive investigation for this study revealed that econometrical volatilities in the stated market shares defined in previous time grid (lag 01) do not predict volatility significantly in a current time grid for all the nations.

Physician-patient communication in vascular surgery: Analysis of encounters in academic practice.

Objective:To assess physician–patient communication in vascular consults with the aim of identifying areas for improvement.Introduction:Shared decision-making in clinical consults can enhance patient outcomes. Its potential benefits are significant in vascular surgery, where decisions are dependent on the patient’s definition of quality of life and outcomes are influenced by significant lifestyle changes.Methods:In this qualitative cross-sectional study, encounters between five vascular surgeons and their patients with two asymptomatic vascular diseases were audio recorded, transcribed, and analyzed for validated sociolinguistic statistics. The nine-item shared decision-making questionnaire was used to gauge subjective patient perspective.Results:Physicians spent an average of 19 min and 28 s (±8:55) per consult and an average of 12 min and 7 s talking to the patient (±6:33). Physicians used formalized language about 10.3 times an encounter (±8.39), checked for understanding 6.4 times (±4.84), and asked more close-ended than open-ended questions (10.5 ± 6.15 versus 4.6 ± 2.37). Physicians accounted for 46.34% of utterances (±6%) and averaged 5.8 interruptions per encounter (±4). Patients and company accounted for 53.66% of total utterances (±6%) and averaged 10.1 clarification questions (±9.78). The average nine-item shared decision-making questionnaire Likert-type score per patient was 2.82 on a range of −3 to +3 (±0.33), with positive numbers indicating agreement. On average, patients strongly (+2) or completely (+3) agreed that physicians covered the nine criteria.Conclusion:The 9-item shared decision-making questionnaire data showed that patients mostly felt their physician was adequate in exhibiting shared decision-making behaviors. However, physicians asked closed-ended questions that elicited “yes/no” or brief responses, continuously interrupted patient narratives, and rarely checked for understanding from their patients. These subliminal behaviors restrict patient participation in shared decision-making and may be corrected via longitudinal intervention.

Creditor Rights, Information Sharing, and Borrower Behavior: Theory and Evidence

This paper provides a comprehensive theoretical and empirical analysis of and throughout over 1.8 million private firms in Europe. We show that many of the outcomes associated with greater levels of creditor rights can be obtained with higher information sharing between banks. Both theory and empirics show that creditor rights and information sharing are associated with greater firm leverage, lower profitability, and greater distance to default. Moreover, theory and empirics find that creditor rights and information sharing are robust substitutes. Our analysis suggests that poor creditor rights can be substituted by improved information sharing.

Testing the Determining Factors of Knowledge Sharing Behavior

In today’s information-based economy, knowledge is considered as a critical and effective resource for assisting businesses in establishing departmental synergies, accelerating innovation, providing value to customers, and increasing revenue through market growth. Knowledge sharing behavior is defined as individual behavior that pertains to the exchange of information, experience, ideas, and skills with other individuals or groups of people inside an organization in order to enhance the company’s sustainability. The purpose of this study is to analyze and obtain empirical evidence of the factors that influence knowledge sharing behavior, which consists of intention to share knowledge, knowledge sharing self-efficacy and enjoyment in helping others by 297 middle managers in a bank setting. This research is an explanatory research that focuses on the causal relationship among variables. The data were collected through a questionnaire survey and were then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) program. The results of this study show that knowledge sharing self-efficacy and enjoyment in helping others have positive and significant effect on intention to share knowledge. Furthermore, knowledge sharing self-efficacy, enjoyment in helping others and intention to share knowledge have positive and significant effect on knowledge sharing behavior. The mediation role of intention to share knowledge is also proven to be significant.

Factors Affecting the Knowledge Sharing Behaviors of University Teachers: An Empirical Study in China

Knowledge sharing among teachers denotes an important means of promoting the professional growth of individual instructors. It enhances the competitiveness of school organizations and thus constitutes a focal aspect of knowledge management in universities. This study conducts an in-depth scrutiny of the knowledge sharing behaviors of teachers, examining their sharing intentions and attitude, support received from others, self-control. With this aim, this paper obtains data from 440 college teachers in Jiangxi Province in China. It then constructs a theoretical model reflecting these factors, and the collected data were analyzed through SPSS24 and AMOS24 to obtain the results. The results of this empirical study conducted in China demonstrate that the knowledge sharing intentions of teachers positively influence their knowledge sharing behaviors. Personal knowledge sharing attitudes and support received from others also constructively affect the knowledge sharing intentions of teachers. Self-control has a negative effect on knowledge sharing intentions and exerts an indirect influence on knowledge sharing behaviors. Knowledge sharing attitudes, support received from others, and self-control are strongly and positively correlated. This investigation suggests that the knowledge sharing intentions of teachers must first be enhanced to improve their knowledge sharing behaviors. The enthusiasm of teachers to share knowledge should be stimulated, and teachers should be encouraged to freely share their understanding with others. Further, their tight regulation of self-control should be appropriately relaxed.

Share price behavior of Nepalese insurance companies

This research explores the influencing factors of market share price behavior in the Nepalese insurance business. The study focuses on four insurance firms and utilizes a purposive sample approach, yielding a dataset of 40 observations. The research investigates the correlations between significant factors such as dividend payout ratio (DPR), Earnings per share (EPS), price–earnings ratio (PER), dividend per share (DPS), and market price per share (MPS). The data show strong relationships between these characteristics and the MPS. The DPR and MPS have a negative connection, indicating that increased dividend distributions may lead to lower market prices. Positive correlations, on the other hand, are discovered among EPS, PER, DPR, and MPS, indicating that investors appreciate firms with greater profitability, growth prospects, and dividend payments. The research adds to the knowledge of share price behavior in Nepalese insurance firms. However, it is crucial to note that the findings are based on small sample size and may not apply to other sectors or countries. To fully understand the factors determining market pricing, future research should investigate increasing the sample size and including longitudinal approaches. These results have practical ramifications for investors, insurers, and politicians. Understanding share price behavior allows stakeholders to make educated choices about investment strategies, financial performance assessment, and policy creation to improve economic performance and shareholder value in Nepal's insurance business.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of knowledge sharing behavior by technology teachers through online learning community using network analysis method. To this end, 3,208 data shared from 2008 to 2021 through the website of the Korean Technology Teachers Association (http://ktta.or.kr/), a representative online learning community for technology teachers, were used to determine the frequency and ratio of keywords. A
 network analysis was performed. The conclusions drawn based on the main analysis results are: First, the knowledge sharing behavior of technology teachers through the online learning community was relatively active in the early
 days of the establishment of the Korean Technology Teachers Association website. And knowledge sharing behavior is concentrated in the manufacturing technology area according to the content area. Second, through the online learning community, technology teachers mainly share teaching and learning materials such as videos and worksheets that can be directly used in related classes. We mainly share data. In addition, data related to performance
 evaluation and projects are mainly shared, focusing on practical exercises and experiences that reflect the characteristics of technology subjects. Third, through the online learning community, technology teachers are engaged in various knowledge sharing activities according to the main content areas of technology subjects.

Knowledge Management Enablers and Faculty’s Knowledge Sharing Behavior in Academic Institutions of Nepal

Uncovering the factors that propel knowledge sharing behavior of faculty members in the context of Nepal shall have some practical implication. First it is a high time to move forward the discourse of implementing formalized knowledge management system in Nepal. For this, the study has identified training and development, monetary reward system, trust as significantpredictors of knowledge sharing behavior. Moreover, it is a bitter paradox of knowing and not doing. There exists knowing-internalizing-doing-being gap in knowledge management context of Nepal. The core job responsibilities of faculty members may be redefined in the contemporary period where academicians have to transform their students from knowing to doing to being state of excellence.

Impact of Paternalistic Leadership on Knowledge Sharing Behavior with the Mediating Role of Affective Commitment and Power Distance as Moderator

Purpose – This paper aims at examining the impact of paternalistic leadership on knowledge-sharing behavior with the mediating role of affective commitment and power distance as moderators. 
 Design/Methodology/Approach – A quantitative research design was employed. For collecting data 300 structured questionnaires comprising of a 5-point Likert scale (strongly disagree to strongly agree) were distributed out of which 146 were received and used. Cronbach alpha, correlation, multiple regression analysis, and mediator analysis were tested on the collected information.
 Findings – The results showed that PL (AL) has a positive impact while PL (BL) and PL (ML) have a significant positive impact on KSB; moreover, PD fully moderates the PL and KSB relationship when the mediating role of AC is contrary to developed hypothesis.
 Research limitations/implications – Since this research was conducted among a particular group of construction, manufacturing industry, project-based, and other business professionals, further research should investigate such related relation in some other context with different moderating and mediating variables.
 Practical implications – Finding of this research can be implemented in different organizations for checking the authenticity and further betterment.
 Originality/Value – The paper has first-hand primary research data of which results, and conclusions are drawn by following all necessary ethical and scientific research methods.

Shared Decision-Making and Colorectal Cancer Screening Behaviors Among Older Adults With Low Health Literacy

National guidelines recommend adults >75 engage in shared decision making (SDM) around colorectal cancer (CRC) screening because of the uncertain benefit to risk ratio. There are no decision tools to support CRC decision making for adults >75 years with low health literacy (LHL). The purpose of this mixed-methods study was to better understand the perspectives of adults >75 with LHL on SDM around CRC screening and to obtain their feedback on an existing higher literacy CRC decision aid. Utilizing the Brief Health Literacy Screening Tool to identify participants with LHL, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 30 adults. Findings indicate that 80% of participants were non-Hispanic Black and 42% had < high school degree. 76% felt they would benefit from CRC screening despite their age. Themes related to CRC screening included lack of knowledge of options and harms, but a desire to understand more to better take care of their health.
