Reproductive health counseling on sexual behavior in adolescents in landslide disaster Prone Areas, Sirnaresmi Village, Sukabumi Regency

Population quality of life, especially reproductive health, declines after landslides. Any reproductive health stimulation is compared to ordinary material content and reproductive health. Adolescents sometimes lack sexuality-related knowledge, and peer information might be inaccurate, thus misinformation may lead them to make mistakes. West Java's Sirnaresmi Village, Sukabumi Regency, is prone to landslides. Teenagers live there. The purpose of implementing this counseling activity on Sexual Behavior is to optimize the knowledge and understanding of adolescents in landslide-prone areas of Sirnaresmi Village, Sukabumi Regency about reproductive health related to sexual behavior. The method of implementing the activity includes three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The activity was carried out for 3 months. The participants who took part in this activity were as many as 20 participants. The result of the implementation of activities is an increase in adolescents' knowledge and understanding of reproductive health related to sexual behavior.

Edukasi Metode Peer Group tentang HIV/AIDS terhadap Pengetahuan dan Perilaku Seksual Remaja

Background: Several big cities in Indonesia stated that almost 50% of teenagers had premarital sex. And what is most astonishing is the widespread circulation of sex videos of teenagers wearing school uniforms on the internet. This phenomenon is motivated by the nature of adolescents who tend to want to try all things that are new and challenging. The high presentation of risky behaviour by adolescents needs to be a serious concern for all groups, considering that the transmission of HIV AIDS occurs mainly through sexual intercourse. This study was to see the effect of peer group education on HIV/AIDS on the knowledge and sexual behaviour of adolescents at SMAN 10 Kendari. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-post test with a control group approach with 60 respondents. Results: There was a significant difference between the mean knowledge scores of the control and intervention groups before and after the intervention with p-value = 0.006, and adolescent sexual behaviour also showed effective results with p-value = 0.046. Conclusion: The peer education method affects knowledge and sexual behaviour, so this method can be used to educate adolescents so that the flow of information delivery is better.

The relationship between parenting and sexual behavior in adolescents

Adolescence is a period where sexual development begins, therefore adolescent experience unstable emotions with sexual behavior. This causes adolescents to tend to engage in irresponsible sexual behavior. Therefore, parents have a very important role, in this case applying the right parenting style to the development of adolescents. The 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey reported that around 4% of young men had experience of having sexual relations before marriage, namely young men aged 15-19 years. This study aims to analyze the relationship between parenting and sexual behavior in adolescents by using a cross sectional design and the number of samples is 116 adolescents. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed through the google form. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between parenting and sexual behavior in adolescents with value = 0.005, value = 0.05 (ρ < α). In this research, the researcher would like to recommend to the next researcher to continue the research by using multivariate analysis to process the data.

Counseling interventions for the prevention of pre-married sexual behaviors among adolescents

Premarital sexual behavior by adolescents is a bad practice because it has consequences for adolescent health. One of the efforts aimed at preventing premarital sexual behavior in adolescents is to provide intervention through counseling. This study aims to analyze counseling interventions for the prevention of premarital sexual behavior in adolescents. The study used a literature review approach and was based on a guideline review assessment instrument. Search data through electronic database searches from articles published in Science Direct, Google Scholar, Pubmed, and Garuda. The search results obtained 9,053 articles, which were then selected using the Guideline review instrument so that 10 articles were obtained that matched the inclusion criteria. Based on the review and analysis process of the article, the counseling intervention methods that have been carried out for the prevention of premarital sexual behavior in adolescents are through peer counseling, Islamic counseling, direct counseling, counseling using SMS, counseling with computer media, and cyber counseling through electronic media. This shows that counseling intervention is effective in preventing premarital sexual behavior in adolescents

Opinions of special education teachers on inappropriate sexual behaviors in adolescents with intellectual disabilities

Inappropriate sexual behaviors may be observed in individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID), especially during adolescence. There are several undesired consequences of exhibiting such behaviors in public spaces, such as schools. The competencies and attitudes of special education teachers, who are responsible for the education of individuals with ID, are of significant influence. This study was conducted to investigate the views of special education teachers working with adolescents with ID on inappropriate sexual behaviors exhibited in educational settings. Accordingly, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 special education teachers. The phenomenological research design, one of the qualitative research methods, and thematic analysis were used in this study. Five themes were identified after the analysis of the findings of the study, namely, common behaviors, teacher attitudes, teacher competencies, teacher interventions, and educational content. The findings were discussed on the basis of the relevant studies in the literature and a number of conclusions were reached. Accordingly, the inappropriate sexual behaviors that special education teachers encounter the most frequently are masturbation, undressing, and touching, and when these behaviors are exhibited aggressively, teachers have difficulty in intervening. Participants regard themselves to be incompetent in terms of sexual education and consider relevant educational content inadequate.

Premarital Sexual Behavior in Middle School Students: Family Conditions and Information Sources

Premarital sexual behavior is a teenage problem that gets a lot of attention globally. This study aims to determine premarital sexual behavior in adolescents in terms of family conditions and sources of sexuality information. Family conditions can be seen from several indicators, including based on caregivers, primary caregivers, place of residence and family integrity. The researcher developed a scale based on sexual behavior, specifically touching, kissing, making out (petting), and having sex (coitus). The respondents of this study were teenagers in Sikka Regency, totaling 348 people with an age range of 12–18 years. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics. This study found that premarital sexual behavior in adolescents in Sikka Regency was enough high at 82%. Other findings show that the highest premarital sexual behavior in adolescents occurs in adolescents who are cared for by grandparents, while the main caregivers who are most at risk are those whose children are cared for by other families, living in boarding houses with orphaned conditions. Another condition is that teenagers who are most vulnerable to sexual behavior are teenagers who get sexual information from the media.

Risk-taking behavior and biopsychosocial theory for predicting risky sexual behavior of adolescents in Islamic Boarding Schools

Background: Risky sexual behavior in adolescents occurs in several cities in Indonesia, including in students in Islamic boarding schools. The phenomenon of risky sexual behavior is found in adolescents in Islamic boarding schools. This study aimed to analyze the factors that influence risky sexual behavior on a biopsychosocial basis. Method: This study used a cross-sectional observational analytical design, explaining the relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The samples of this study were adolescents from Islamic Boarding Schools in Probolinggo. A total of 346 adolescents were selected by multistage random sampling. Data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) test. Results: The results showed that the independent variables contributed 43.8% to risky sexual behavior, and the model had a good fit. There is a significant relationship between biological maturation, self-perceptions, perception of social and spiritual, and perceptions of sexual on risky sexual behavior. Conclusion: The results of this study revealed that the model of risky sexual behavior viewed from risk-taking behavior and biopsychosocial theory could be used as a theoretical basis for carrying out activities related to health-promotive and preventive actions for adolescents, which focus on individual, family and peer group factors.

Influence of Sex Education on the Sexual Behaviour of Adolescents

The purpose of this study was to assess the influence of sex education on the sexual behaviour of adolescents in Senior and Junior High Schools in the New Juaben Municipality. A cross-sectional research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study are adolescents in Junior and Senior High Schools in New Juaben Municipality. A random sampling technique was used to select two-hundred and fifty (250) respondents from two Junior High Schools and two Senior High Schools in New Juaben Municipality. The main instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. Both inferential and descriptive statistics were used to analyse the data. The study indicated that sex education (in terms of HIV/AIDS education) has had a significant influence (impact) on sexual behaviours. The positive sexual behaviours of adolescent in Junior and Senior High Schools is evident in their attitude toward premarital sex. The study also revealed that adolescents exhibited a positive attitude toward premarital sex and abstaining from sex that will make them sick or look odd in society, neither would it give them problems during intercourse when they finally marry. It is recommended that Parents should ensure that their children receive more sex education to offset the negative influences of the media. It is also recommended that Government may also consider replicating the popular nationwide Science and Mathematics quiz in the area of adolescent sexual behaviour and reproductive health in SHS and JHS to increase the awareness of students about appropriate adolescents’ sexual behaviours and reproductive health issues.

Faktor yang Memengaruhi Perilaku Seks Pranikah pada Remaja

This study aims to determine the factors that influence premarital sexual behavior in adolescents and the influence of these factors on adolescent behavior in Alok District and Bola District. The method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach to 104 adolescents determined proportionally by random sampling. Data analysis used a simple logistic regression test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (p = 0.021; OR = 3,286), religious level understanding (p = 0.020; OR = 6.718), family roles (p = 0.000; OR = 7,192), peers (p = 0.031; OR = 9.444) and sources of information (p = 0.030; OR = 9.874) on premarital sex behavior in adolescents, while cultural factors had no relationship (p = 0.069; OR = 0.468). In conclusion, there is an influence between knowledge, understanding of the level of religion, the role of family, peers and sources of information on premarital sex behavior in adolescents.

FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PERILAKU SEKS PRANIKAH PADA REMAJA KECAMATAN KEPULAUAN MASALOKA RAYA TAHUN 2022

Adolescence is a period of growth and development both physically, psychologically and intellectually. The characteristics of teenagers who have a great curiosity, like adventure and challenges and tend to dare to take risks without careful consideration. Premarital sexual behavior is a sexual activity that involves two people who like or love each other, which is carried out before marriage. This study aims to determine the factors associated with premarital sexual behavior in adolescents in the Masaloka Raya Islands sub-district in 2022. This study used analytical observation with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The population in this study were all teenagers in Kep. Masaloka Raya. The sample in the study was 174 people. Sample selection using total sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between courtship status (p value = 0.000 < 0.05), peer influence (p value = 0.000 < 0.05) and premarital sex behavior, on the contrary there was no significant relationship between knowledge (p value = 0.356 > 0.05), parental role (p value = 0.079 > 0.05) with premarital sex behavior. The conclusion of this study is that the variables of courtship status and peer influence have a significant relationship with premarital sex behavior in adolescents, while knowledge and parental roles do not have a significant relationship with premarital sex behavior in adolescents in the Masaloka Raya Archipelago District in 2022.

The Effect Of Permissive Parenting on Adolescent Sexual Behavior Pasar 7 Beringin Tembung

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of permissive parenting on premarital sexual behavior in adolescents. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population in this study amounted to 350 people and the sample in this study amounted to 65 people. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method in this study used the permissive parenting scale and the premarital sexual behavior scale. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis. The significance value obtained is 0.054 > 0.05, which means The regression equation based on research data is not significant, meaning that the linear regression model does not meet the linearity criteria. While the coefficient of determination obtained is (R2) 0.057. This means that permissive parenting style influences premarital sexual behavior by 5.7%.

PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE ADOPTION OF RISKY SEXUAL BEHAVIOR BY ADOLESCENTS IN TOGO

Adolescent sexual and reproductive health indicators are very worrying in sub-Saharan Africa. In Togo, for the 2020-2021 school year, 1,244 girls dropped out of school due to early pregnancy (Republic of Togo, 2022). This article aims to make a psychological analysis of the adoption of risky sexual behaviors of adolescents in Togo. To do this, we have conducted an exploratory study with five (05) adolescents received in psychological interview using the all-comers method. The results reveal that romantic attachment and sexual curiosity promote early sexuality. But sex education from parents delays the age of first sexual intercourse. With regard to multiple sexual partners, it is favored by low partner abandonment anxiety. For the non-systematic use of condoms, the reasons are diversified according to gender. Thus, for boys, strong sexual arousal contributes to non-systematic condom use, while girls explain it by strong abandonment anxiety. Furthermore, our results also reveal that the adoption of risky sexual behaviors has consequences on the psychological state of adolescents. Given the small size of our sample, it is necessary to conduct a study on a large population in order to identify the relevant psychological factors. This will enable an adolescent-centred approach to improve adolescent sexual health in sub-Saharan Africa.

ANALIYSIS OF SEXUAL RISKY FACTORS FOR ADOLESCENTS IN THE KOTO TINGGI HEALTH CENTER IN LIMA PULUH KOTA 2020

Risk sexual behavior will increase the chance of someone who does it bring unwanted consequences such as pregnancy outside marriage / unwanted pregnancy, acts of abortion, dropping out of school, psychosocial disorders, sexually transmitted diseases and being infected with HIV / AIDS. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors associated with risky sexual behavior in adolescents in the working area of the Koto Tinggi Health Center in Lima Puluh Kota 2019,The method used is a quantitative research method of analytic study using a cross sectional approach, the sampling technique using proportional stratified random sampling of 196 respondents. Data collection tool uses a questionnaire. Data analysis used chi square test and multiple logistic regression. The result of the statistical test shows that there is a relationship between age, knowledge, the role of peers, access to information, family roles, lifestyle, religious understanding of risky sexual behavior, and there is no relationship between the role of school and sex on risky sexual behavior of adolescents in the work area Koto Tinggi Health Center in Lima Puluh Kota 2019. The results showed that the most dominant factor influencing risky sexual behavior was access to information. It is expected that the Ministry of Health, schools and the BKKBN can implement the Youth Care Health Services Program optimally. PREMARRIAGE SEX EDUCATION IN AN EFFORT TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE OF RISK SEXUAL BEHAVIOR IN ADOLESCENTS

Introduction: Risky sexual behavior in adolescents is a problem that is often experienced by most teenagers in Indonesia. The incidence of deviant behavior is currently increasing among adolescents. One example of cases of deviant behavior in adolescents is pregnancy outside of marriage. Therefore, it is necessary to have prevention activities by conducting socialization and health education related to risky sexual behavior in adolescents. Sexual education aims to help adolescents in making decisions and the risks of their sexual attitudes. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase adolescent knowledge regarding risky sexual behavior that often occurs in adolescents. Methods: The population of this activity is in the form of Health Education which is carried out on 320 students of class XI Vocational High School 10 Malang. The sample used in this activity is 10% of the total 32 students. The variable measured in this activity is adolescents' knowledge regarding risky sexual behavior. Health education activities began by conducting a pre-test using a questionnaire on risky sexual behavior in adolescents, then providing education with the lecture method and playing a video on the impact of sexual behavior on adolescents, and ending with a question-and-answer session accompanied by a post-test. Knowledge measurement is done by using univariate analysis by analyzing the results of pre and post-test. Results: The results of this activity can be seen from the post-test to pre-test results that have been carried out, namely an increase in student knowledge marked by a change in the score on five of the six achievement indicators. The first indicator is causes of free sex with an increase of 3.6%. The second indicator of the form of sex increased by 50%. Third, parties affected by premarital sex increased by 53.6%. Fourth, the purpose of premarital sex health education increased by 39.7%, and lastly, the prevention of premarital sex increased by 7.1%. With the results obtained an increase in the score indicates that the information conveyed by the researcher can be accepted by students well. Conclusion: The level of students' knowledge about premarital sex increased marked by a change in the score for the better on five indicators, namely knowledge related to causes, forms, affected parties, goals and prevention of premarital sex in adolescents. Health education needs to be carried out continuously, so that information related to good sexual education can be well absorbed by adolescents.

Psikoedukasi Sebagai Prevensi Perilaku Seksual Pranikah Remaja Putra Yang Tinggal Di Panti Asuhan

Teenagers living in orphanages have limited parental assistance during their sexual development, putting them at risk of premarital sexual behavior. Psychoeducation, which involves providing information and training skills, has been widely known as a psychological intervention but has not been widely used to address sexual behavioural problems in adolescents. The purpose of this study is to find out if interventions in the form of psychoeducation can reduce premarital sexual behavior in young men living in orphanages. The research method uses quasi-experimentation with one group pretest-posttes design. Research subjects numbered 6 people selected using purposive sampling with the criteria of adolescents aged 15-19 years, living in the orphanage X Boyolali, conducting premarital sexual behavior. The research instruments used a scale of sexual behavior with data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study showed that psychoeducation is effective for lowering premarital sexual behavior in adolescents

FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERILAKU SEKSUAL PADA REMAJA

Adolescence is one of the two periods of an individual's life span, where there are enormous physical changes, namely organ maturation and reproductive function. The problem that often occurs is the occurrence of risky sexual behavior. This study aims to determine the factors that influence sexual behavior in adolescents. The research design was cross sectional. The research population was 193 tenth grade students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 in the city of Cirebon. The research sample was 80 people who were taken by random sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire, data analysis included univariate and bivariate with chi square. Results: Adolescents with high-risk sexual behavior were 13 people (16.3%), 16 people had low reproductive health knowledge (20%), and the role of parents was not good as many as 37 people (46.3%), and peer influence as high as 24 people (30%). There is a relationship between knowledge about reproductive health (p value 0.003), the role of parents (p value 0.006) and peer influence (p value 0.002) with adolescent sexual behavior.

Adolescent Sexual Behavior In The Era Of The Industrial Revolution 4.0

Background: The index of adolescent knowledge about reproductive health has increased. Ease of accessing information is an important point in increasing adolescent knowledge about reproductive health, but the use of social media without parental supervision can also lead to risky sexual behavior. In this study, the author aims to determine adolescent knowledge about reproductive health, access to social media as a source of information, and sexual behavior in adolescents in Klaten.
 Methods: The design in this study is a cross-sectional qualitative research. The population is adolescents aged 16-18 years in the Klaten Regency area. The sample in this study were 96 samples years by using non-probability method sampling count by lemeshow formula selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria through youth organizations. The instrument used was questionnaire consist of 4 indicators (usage of social media, source of health reproduction information, knowledge of health reproduction, sex behavior. After validity and reliability test, the questionnaire obtained 30 questions. Data was collected online by using google forms. Analysis data procedure was using chi square and logistic regressionanalysis techniques.
 Results: The most respondents aged 18 years (48.60%), female gender (88.78%), accessed social media for 7-12 hours as much as 57.01%, all respondents accessed search engines and whatsapp, the majority of respondents received Information about reproductive health from the internet is 90.65%, 59.81% of respondents' parents have a role in discussing reproductive health, 83.18% of respondents have good knowledge about reproductive health, 85.98 % respondents have risky sexual behavior.
 Conclusion: The role of parents and the duration of adolescents accessing social media has a significant relationship in adolescent sexual behavior.

Factors Affecting Premarital Sexual Behavior in Adolescents in South Sumatra

Adolescence is one of the stages of the individual growth and development cycle in the age range of 10-24 years and is not yet bound by marital status. One of the risky sexual behaviors that most teenagers do is dating. Dating in adolescence is part of the socialization process, learning intimacy and providing opportunities to create meaningful and unique relationships with the opposite sex, as well as being a context for sexual experimentation and exploration. This study’s aim was to determine various factors associated with premarital sexual behavior at risk in adolescents. This study uses secondary data with a cross sectional design from the 2018 Survei Kinerja dan Akuntabilitas Program Kependudukan, Keluarga Berencana dan Pembangunan Keluarga (SKAP) with a total of 637 adolescents aged 15-24 years and unmarried were selected as a weighted samples. Data was collected through interviews using structured questionnaires, and data analysis was carried out using univariate, bivariate using Chi Square’s test, and multivariate using logistic regression tests. The proportion of risky premarital sexual behavior in adolescents in South Sumatra was 62,4%. Adolescents with higher knowledge about reproductive health had 2.7 times of risk of premarital sexual behavior than else after being controlled by knowledge of family planning, socioeconomic and residence (95% CI: 1.8 – 3.9). This study concludes that knowledge is one of the factors that influence premarital sexual behavior but is not a direct factor. Therefore, the advice that can be given is to involve various parties comprehensively in providing knowledge in a sustainable manner.

The increase in the number of adolescent sexual behavior is caused by the low knowledge of adolescents about sex and reproductive health where knowledge is one of the components in forming one's attitude. There are several factors that will make teenagers tend to take the wrong attitude. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, lifestyle & family upbringing with premarital sexual behavior in adolescents in Gampong Gajah, Mutiara District, Pidie Regency. The research design was analytic with a cross-sectional approach, the study was conducted in Gampong Gajah, Mutiara District, Pidie Regency in February 2022, the population in the study were all male and female adolescents in Gampong Gajah, aged 16 to 21 years, totaling 58 adolescents. sampling technique using the total population. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a relationship between knowledge and premarital sexual behavior of adolescents with a ρ value of 0.01≤ 0.05, there was a relationship between lifestyle and premarital sexual behavior of adolescents with a value of 0.00, and there was a relationship between parenting and premarital sexual behavior of adolescents with a value of 0.02. ≤ 0.05. It is hoped that the research location can be used as input material in dealing with adolescent premarital sexual behavior problems by increasing knowledge about reproductive health, especially premarital sex.
