A 40-year-old woman experienced severe right groin and thigh pain. Her history included abdominal hysterectomy 6 years and exploratory laparotomy 2 years earlier. During the latter, left oophorectomy and appendectomy were performed, but did not eliminate the patient's groin pain. At laparoscopy we found a 20-mm myoma on the round ligament, which was excised. Three months postoperatively the woman had no groin pain and was in good health.
