SELECTED ATTRIBUTE OF HOUSEHOLDS AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC PATTERN: A CASE STUDY OF THARU VILLAGE (KANGRA VALLEY), TEHSIL NAGROTA BAGWAN, DISTRICT KANGRA, HIMACHAL PRADESH, INDIA

This paper is an attempt to analyze the household attributes and socio-economic pattern of Tharu village located in kangra valley of Nagrota Bagwan tehsil, district Kangra. The people of the present research area reside in the laps of nature. This study investigates nature and design of dwellings and socio-economic condition of this village. This paper searching to unfold the question how people survive in this Himalayan mountainous valley and limited landholding area and how they generate their livelihood? Is geographical factors affects their household pattern, and climatic conditions are mostly mountainous sub-tropical type of climatic region. To answer these above following questions field, visit of the same area has been conducted. This research paper is descriptive in nature. The primary Data were collected from the entire households through interviews, informal discussions and field observation. The Tharu village was investigated and it was found that the subsistence agriculture activities and livestock rearing was the main occupation. Some other interesting facts noticed in this study area such as shifting trends towards horticultural activities. On the context of households, there was higher composition of nuclear families rather than joint families. There is lack of adequate of social infrastructure such as education and health institutions. The paper will be helpful in carrying out the further analysis and showing a way to improve existing socio-economic conditions and household pattern of rural settlement in high Himalayan mountainous region in Himachal Pradesh

Mental health of residents of radioactively contaminated territories of the Chelyabinsk region in the late period after the resettlement

In case of radiation accidents, one of the radical protective measures is the evacuation of residents from contaminated areas. Its purpose is to reduce the possible radiation effect to the population. At the same time, evacuation itself becomes a serious stressful factor that has a negative impact on a person’s health and mental status. The objective of this work is to assess the state of mental health of residents of the Muslyumovo settlement in the Chelyabinsk region (the territory exposed to radioactive contamination as a result of radioactive waste releases into the Techa River) who participated in the resettlement program in the period from 2006 to 2010. Mental health was assessed twice: primarily in 2008-2010 against the background of resettlement, and again in 2019-2020, 10 or more years after the resettlement. The study includes 2 groups formed by random selection. The main group consisted of 100 persons from among the participants of the resettlement program. The comparison group included 80 persons living in the territories exposed to radioactive contamination, but not participating in the resettlement program. According to the main socio-hygienic characteristics, the groups are homogeneous and comparable. The following methods were used: clinical, clinical and psychological, and the method of statistical processing of materials. As a result, it was found that both in the primary and in the repeated study, residents of the Muslyumovo settlement, Chelyabinsk region, participating in the resettlement program, were statistically significantly more likely (p<0.001) to have mental disorders and behavioral disorders (neurotic, stress-related and somatoform disorders (F 40)), compared with the control group. Also, according to the results of the survey, statistically significantly more often the psychogenic effect of resettlement (p≤0.001) was detected in patients of the main group. The data obtained suggest a long-term effect of resettlement on the mental health of the population involved. Understanding the consequences of the protective measures carried out (resettlement) will clarify the criteria for their application, as well as predict the manifestations of mental maladaptation in the population with the potential development of radiation accidents.

ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPACT OF OIL AND OIL PRODUCTS ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND LIVING ORGANISMS

Phytotoxic properties of Absheron soils were studied when they were contaminated with oil and oil products. For this purpose, samples were taken from gray-brown semi-desert soil from Binagadi settlement of Absheron region and light chestnut soil from Saray settlement. Studies conducted with these soil types have shown that arid areas are not resistant to pollution by oil and oil products in terms of phytotoxicity. It was found that the soils of the Absheron peninsula contaminated with oil and oil products have a negative effect on the growth and development of test plants.

Experimental study on progressive interfacial mechanical behaviors using fiber optic sensing cable in frozen soil

Frost heave and thaw settlement in cold regions pose a significant threat to engineering construction. Optical frequency domain reflectometry (OFDR) based on Rayleigh scattering can be applied to monitor ground deformation in frozen soil areas, where the interface behavior of soil-embedded fiber optic sensors governs the monitoring accuracy. In this paper, a series of pullout tests were conducted on fiber optic (FO) cables embedded in the frozen soil to investigate the cable‒soil interface behavior. An experimental study was performed on interaction effects, particularly focused on the water content of unfrozen soil, freezing duration, and differential distribution of water content in frozen soil. The high-resolution axial strains of FO cables were obtained using a sensing interrogator, and were used to calculate the interface shear stress. The interfacial mechanical response was analytically modeled using the ideal elasto‒plastic and softening constitutive models. Three freezing periods, correlating with the phase change process between ice and water, were analyzed. The results shows that the freezing effect can amplify the peak shear stress at the cable-soil interface by eight times. A criterion for the interface coupling states was proposed by normalizing the pullout force‒displacement information. Additionally, the applicability of existing theoretical models was discussed by comparing the results of theoretical back‒calculations with experimental measurements. This study provides new insights into the progressive interfacial failure behavior between strain sensing cable and frozen soil, which can be used to assist the interpretation of FO monitoring results of frozen soil deformation.

PREVALENCE OF THEILERIA ANNULATA AMONG CATTLE IN THE TURKESTAN REGION

Theileriosis is a severe blood-parasitic disease, an important problem in veterinary protozoology, since the damage it causes remains significant. The recently widespread practice of importing breeding stock to improve local breeds leads to the fact that in the first summer season, upon contact with infested ticks, the imported animals become very seriously ill, with a mortality rate of up to 90-100%. In this work, 738 samples of cattle were examined using the polymerase chain reaction method, which showed the presence of infection in 598 DNA samples isolated from cattle from 10 districts, 19 settlements of the Turkestan region. Whole blood samples were taken from cattle aged 3 years and older. Upon examination, the animals seemed healthy. The overall positivity rate for the entire region was 81%, highlighting the prevalence of infection among livestock. There are different levels of infection in the regions; in 6 settlements the infection rate of cattle was 100%. In addition, 7 villages showed high PCR positivity rates, ranging from 70% to 97%. While the lowest prevalence of infection showed from 18% to 69% in 6 villages, respectively.

Bronze Age Settlements of the North-East Caspian Region

The article deals with the study of the Bronze Age settlements of the Ustyurt Plateau (North-Eastern Caspian region). The work provides data illustrating the stages of studying ancient history monuments on the territory of the Ustyurt Plateau. More than a thousand years have passed from the first mentions of the Ustyurt Plateau in written sources to its comprehensive study. Scientific research conducted until the middle of the 20th century primarily concerned the study of climate, soils, geological exploration, and the possibility of economic development of land. The second half of the 20th century became a defining stage in the study of archaeological sets. The beginning of the 21st century brought several Bronze Age settlements to the treasury of archaeological sites – Toksanbay, Aitman, Manaysor. The work of the West Kazakhstan Archaeological Expedition of the Margulan Institute of Archaeology under the leadership of Zainolla Samashev and with the active participation of Antonina Ermolaeva and Lev Galkin, in fact, became a launching pad for the accumulation of archaeological material of this era. Thanks to the state strategic project "Cultural Heritage" in 2004-2009, a systematic study of these settlements was carried out. To obtain complete information, an integrated approach was used, involving specialists in related natural sciences. As a result of many years of research of the structural elements of dwellings, it was possible to study in detail the building materials used, analyze the methods of erecting a dwelling, elements of structures, the shape and size of the pit, the system of arrangement of post holes in the floor of the room, roofing techniques, which made it possible to reconstruct dwelling No. 2 of the Toksanbay Settlement. The obtained materials made it possible to identify the development of handicraft production, study the ritual practices of the settlement’s inhabitants, and trace the adaptation options of the population to difficult natural and climatic conditions.

GEOGRAPHICAL FACTORS OF REVITALIZATION OF RURAL SETTLEMENTS “WITHOUT POPULATION

The article proposes a method for identifying “reviving” rural settlements (RS). Case studies of the Tver region RS revealed what features of the geographical location determine a settlement opportunities for revitalization. The previous typology, based on the analysis of satellite images, showed a considerable differentiation in the degree of RS degradation, classified according to the 2010 census as “without population”. Further work to determine the leading factors of revitalization was based on the study of those RS where the houses and outbuildings, identified by satellite images, have been preserved to the greatest extent. Nearness to rivers and water bodies, position relative to federal and regional highways, and location near the regional and/or district center were chosen as key features of the geographical location that have an effect on the prospects for revitalization of a territory. The presence of registered residents (according to current records) and demarcated cadastral plots are indicators of the RS revitalization. The study showed that one third of all RS, which fell into the category “without population” according to 2010 statistics, could now be considered “reviving”. A key factor in the revitalization of rural settlements of the Tver region is their nearness to the river, mainly to the Volga River. Another important factor is the location in the zone of influence of main centers, primarily the city of Tver. The main function is the recreational (dacha) use of such villages.

Scythian–Sarmatian art as part of the cultural landscape of Crimea

The subject of the study is Scythian–Sarmatian art in the cultural landscape of Crimea, expressed in sculpture, monumental and decorative arts. The object of the study is the Crimean artifacts of the Scythian–Sarmatian culture (details of jewelry, weapons, sculpture, vase painting) in comparison with similar objects from other regions of settlement of the Scythian–Sarmatian nomadic peoples. The author pays special attention to the identification of the main distinctive features of the Scythian and Sarmatian culture, which is complicated by how much mixed culture develops in the Northern Black Sea region and transformations of the animal style of the Scythian–Sarmatian culture in the Crimean diaspora associated with the influence of ancient culture and Near Asian civilizations. The use of the animal style as part of all subsequent styles, including the Crimean Art Nouveau, which is a reflection of the synthesis of cultures of the multiethnic cultural landscape of Crimea, is also traced. The article uses the method of historicism in retrospect of Scythian–Sarmatian art in the cultural landscape of the Crimea, the comparative method in the comparative analysis of artifacts of the Crimea and the entire territory of Scythia, the method of stylistic analysis in the decorative and applied arts of the Crimea. The main conclusions of the study are: 1. The Crimean cultural landscape is diverse due to the historical polyethnicity of the region, associated with its geographical location and a unique natural complex, which has become a place of numerous ethnic migrations throughout history. This is also connected with the appearance of the Scythian–Sarmatian culture in the Crimea in the ancient era, which left a significant mark on the peninsula. 2. The characteristic features of the Scythian – Sarmatian animal style are simplification of form, linearity and geometrization, which harmoniously fits into the classical anthropomorphic proportions in sculpture, wall painting, vase painting of ancient art. The constructive expediency, conciseness and harmony inherent in the Scythian–Sarmatian animal style through the prism of ancient art became the reason for the global introduction into subsequent architectural and artistic styles, up to the present time. 3. The Scythian–Sarmatian art in the Crimean cultural landscape is unique in that it embodies the original style of the Scythian–Sarmatian people.

광양 동천하류역 3~6세기대 취락의 형성과 전개과정 연구

This article is a study on the process of settlements formation and development during the 3rd ~ 6th centuries in the down Dong-cheon area among the Gwangyang area, which is a regional area in the eastern part of Jeonnam.This region has been continuously yielding archaeological findings through recent ongoing excavations, necessitating further research utilizing both existing and newly acquired data. The historic sites over the down stream of Dong-cheon, Gwangyang region have been studied are 7 points and 10 locations. This place can be classified broadly into their features such as dwelling, mound, fortress, and production. This area is also where many foreign artifacts are concentrated. This is understood as the nature of the natural and geographic environment and the transitional zone of this area. Therefore, the above contents were reviewed, and the formation and development process of the Dong-cheon Stream downstream region in Gwangyang was examined by dividing them into Ⅰ~Ⅲ. In the 1nd period, natives broaden their residence to flatland in the 3rd centries and their housing culture and relics started to flow in and features as the transitional zone in the Mid-4th centries. It seemed that having grown while serving as a stopover for foreign relations, that to overcome the geographical limitation causing slow development, which located in boarder area of Mahan(馬韓) and Gaya(加耶). In the 2nd period, after early 5th cenries, the amount of Sogaya(小加耶) type relics have been appeared to overwhelmed to other political systems. Also their form of habitations had changed into a squre shape. Through the importing Mahan or Wae type relics, it can be seen as means of bridge in marine route connecting Baekje(百濟)-Mahan(馬韓)-Gaya(加耶)-Wae(倭) during this term. The down stream group of Dong-cheon, formed relationship between Sogaya(小加耶) more closely. It can be estimated by producing their own products and constructing mounded tomb of regional head’s tomb from fhe late 5th centries to early 6th centries, that indigenous forces had been increased. The eastern part of Jeonnam was designated as Imnasahyun(任那四縣), and it is certain that down stream of Dong-cheon were central settlement in Moru(牟婁). In the 3nd period, passing the first half of the 6th century, with the construction of Baekje(百濟) tombs and Maro Mountain Fortress, the downstream of Dong-cheon was included in the direct ruling system of Baekje's local administration, and it still remained as the central settlement of the Gwangyang region.

However, the problem of preservation of some factory settlements and as such enterprises arose for the authorities of the former Molotov region (1940-1957) «Gordian knot», due to the construction of the Kama hydroelectric power plant and the creation of a reservoir, As a result, not only agricultural land and pastures, but also historical settlements, factory areas and many unexplored archaeological sites were flooded. Therefore, in this article the historical, cartographic analysis of former factory settlements was also conducted and the damage of flooding and flooding of territories was revealed, as well as the preserved heritage of «factory civilization».

Epidemiology of burns in a humanitarian setting: A national study among refugees in Lebanon

IntroductionBurns represent one of the leading causes of morbidity worldwide and disproportionately impact women, children, and socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals. Syrian refugees who fled conflict to land in overcrowded informal settlements across Lebanon are a particularly vulnerable population. This study aims to assess the etiology and risk factors for burns in this population. MethodsThis cross-sectional, cluster-based population study adopted the Surgeons Overseas Assessment of Surgical Need (SOSAS) version 3.0 to capture data from refugees residing in informal settlements in multiple regions across Lebanon. The tool was contextualized and used to collect detailed information on burn cases sustained by refugees during the last 12 months prior to data collection. Univariate logistic regression models were performed to assess the relationship between burns and associated risk factors. ResultsFrom the 1468 households surveyed, a total of 223 households experienced a burn in the last 12 months. Over 63% of burns occurred in children under the age of ten years and almost 57% of burns occurred in females. More than 70% of burns resulted from hot liquid, while 17% were caused by direct heat contact. Over 3/4ths of burns occurred while preparing food (77.4%). Approximately 32% of those burned did not seek healthcare, of which almost 85% noted the cause was mainly due to financial limitations. ConclusionBurns are a common injury in the Syrian refugee population living in Lebanon. Children and women are particularly impacted, often during cooking. Multi-level interventions are necessary to reduce burn injuries and improve care for those affected by burns. Community kitchens can be used to separate cooking and living environments and get stoves and hot liquids off the floor. Importantly, policies should allow for refugees to receive medical care when necessary without a major financial burden.

Evolution of water extraction technology (spring tunnels) in the Southern Levant during the last three millennia

AbstractA spring tunnel is an ancient water installation used to artificially increase the water yield of a spring through a subterranean tunnel. We have developed a database of 216 spring tunnels documented in the central region of the Southern Levant (present‐day Israel), constructed between Iron Age II and the modern era. The study focuses on the evolution of this water installation over a period of 2500 years, examining these constructions from technological, typological, spatial, and cultural perspectives. Within the larger database, 132 spring tunnels have been mapped, from which we present 36 examples selected to outline the typology and chronology of this type of water installation. The findings of the study indicate a diachronic correlation between the distribution of settlement in the mountain region and the number and geographical distribution of spring tunnels. Ethnic and religious changes, and the complexity of the mountain region's population, are also reflected in the use of these water installations. The comprehensive water structure database presented in this article, from a peripheral, yet strategically located region in relation both to the Far East and to West Mediterranean Empires, is used for initial consideration of local initiatives versus the knowledge‐transfer process.

Рекреационный потенциал речных бассейнов для развития сельского туризма в Актюбинской области

The aim of the research was to analyze the climate comfort and assess the recreational potential of river basins for the development of rural tourism in Aktobe Region, Kazakhstan. The ArcGIS 10.5 software was applied to conduct tourist and recreational studies in the target watersheds. Methodologically, the research included two stages. The first one comprised an overview of the available data on local hydrology, terrain (slope degrees), and climatic factors. The efforts allowed creating four thematic maps based on ArcGIS 10.5 SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topographical Mission) imagery of the basins in question. The second stage revealed the tourist and recreational efficiency of river massifs, specifically allowed evaluating the recreational use of rivers as per the proposed methodology. It was found that surface water bodies are not used effectively enough in rural tourism development in the region, i.e. that this type of touristic services has not yet progressed due to numerous issues hindering their spreading, including the underdeveloped social and engineering rural infrastructure, poor quality of road network and transport communications. All these lead to low attractiveness, diminish the effectiveness of rural ecology preservation measures, as well as complicate the organization and creation of proper tourist accommodations. To analyze the possibilities of rural tourism development in specific areas, a special tourist and recreational assessment was carried out within the framework of the research. According to climate index characteristics, the dynamics of the region’s climatic favorability was determined with the main conclusion that it is the poor infrastructure development in Aktobe Region settlements that prevents a full scale expansion of rural tourism in the target river basins

Population and Species Composition of Rodents and Insectivores in Settlements of the West Kazakhstan Region Located in the Plague Enzootic Territory

The aim of the study was to analyze the abundance, species composition, dissemination of mouse-like rodents and other small mammals in the settlements of the West Kazakhstan Region over the past 6 years and the factors contributing to the change in the numbers in the long-term aspect.Materials and methods. We utilized the data obtained by employees of the Uralsk Plague Control Station, affiliated branch of the Republican State Enterprise “National Scientific Center of Particularly Dangerous Infections named after Masgut Aikimbaev” during a scheduled epizootiological survey of plague foci located in the West Kazakhstan Region.Results and discussion. The average annual number of rodents and insectivores in the settlements on the plague-enzootic territory of the West Kazakhstan Region was 5.1 in spring season, 8.1 in autumn, with 30.0 % occupancy of the facilities. In outbuildings, the number of rodents was three times higher than in residential buildings and amounted to 11.5 (residential buildings – 3.7). The general species composition of small mammals caught in the settlements was represented by seven species, among which the house mouse was a predominant one (97.5 %). The second place was occupied by the small shrew (1.7 %). There is a downward trend in the number of rodents in the steppe foci of plague (over 18 years – an average of 22.0 %). A slight increase in the number of animals by 2.0 % has been registered in the sandy focus.

Study of the optimal distance between electric charging stations located on highways

The study analyzes the optimal distance between electric charging stations located on highways passing between settlements in the northern regions. The analysis was carried out on the basis of a survey of electric vehicle owners on the optimal distance of the optimal distance between electric charging stations located on the roads passing between settlements in the northern regions. The data obtained reflect the optimal distance between electric filling stations, taking into account special conditions for the operation of electric vehicles in the northern regions, where in winter the temperature can drop to -40 ... -50 C°. The results of the analysis may be of interest to companies producing electric vehicles and when conducting research in the field of operation of electric vehicles in the northern regions. In addition, these studies may be of interest to developers of transport infrastructure development programs in the northern regions.

О пище, напитках и их приготовлении в XX веке на юге Воронежской области (этнолингвистический взгляд)

This article reflects the traditional village cuisine of one settlement in the Central Black Earth Region. The purpose of the study is to determine the nutritional content of the residents of the village of Sknarovka, Kantemirovsky District, Voronezh Region, in the early and mid-20th century as an element of folk culture and to represent the corresponding vocabulary. The work uses the following methods: survey, observation, analysis and description. The scientific essay displays dishes and drinks, dishes and utensils of the past. It has been established that food was not only a vital necessity, but also represented a kind of value for villagers. Food and drinks had a certain cultural meaning. They were produced in the household, recipes were passed down from generation to generation and formed part of the picture of the human world. In the process of research activities, it was shown that in the 21st century the table of villagers and their preferences became more diverse, so the process of cooking in the oven and the utensils used in it previously lost their former relevance, since the tradition has changed. The Sknarovsky Russian-Ukrainian dialect contains commonly used, dialectal, colloquial and vernacular lexical units. The novelty of the study is that it presents for the first time the food culture of the inhabitants of the past century of a gradually dying rural settlement in the Voronezh region. The practical significance of the study is that it introduces interesting dialectal materials into circulation, illustrating the tradition in its unique manifestation in the outback in the south of Central Russia.

Чехи в Україні в другій половини ХІХ – на початку ХХ століття

Background. More than 100 different nationalities live on the territory of modern Ukraine. This diversity was formed under the influence of economic and socio-political changes that have taken place in Europe in recent centuries. The article identifies the main regions of settlement and residence of Czech colonists within the modern borders of Ukraine, the differences in the conditions of resettlement, settlement, and farming, taking into account the state policy of settlement on Ukrainian lands, makes a comparative analysis of the socio-economic situation, and indicates possible directions for new research. Methods. Using general historical methods – comparative and synchronous, the principle of historicism – the transformational phenomena are considered and analysed taking into account the historical context of the development of social relations; the method of comparative and analytical analysis is used to form a holistic view of understanding the common and distinctive components of socio-economic phenomena In the process of processing the sources, an integrated approach and a comparative method are applied. Results. The author identifies the individual regions of Czechs' settlement in the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The conditions of resettlement are indicated and the characteristic features of the socio-economic and legal status of the Czechs, depending on the region of their settlement, are investigated, as well as the contribution of the Czechs to the formation of socio-economic, scientific and cultural potential for the development of Ukrainian lands in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Conclusions. The migration processes of the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries were the result of the intensive development of a new economic formation in Europe. In search of better living conditions, the process of resettlement of Czechs from Bohemia and Moravia intensified at that time. The settlement boundaries covered not only the territories of the Austrian Empire, but they also colonised the Ukrainian lands of the Russian Empire. The resettlement of Czechs from their historical homeland to the Ukrainian lands within the Austrian and Russian empires in the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries was caused by various factors and preconditions. The process of Czech colonisation of the South of the Russian Empire took place in waves. Most Czechs settled in Volhynia, as well as in the Kyiv and Podillia provinces. By the beginning of the twentieth century, Czechs had become an integral part of the population of the Ukrainian lands

INVASIVE INSECT SPECIES CYDALIMA PERSPECTALIS (WALKER, 1859): GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION, INVASION IN UKRAINE AND DAMAGE IN CHERNIVTSI REGION

Invasions of species into ecosystems cause their transformation and, in certain cases, their degradation. The study was carried out to determine the extent of the invasion of Cydalima perspectalis (Walker, 1859). For this purpose, the following aspects were analyzed: distribution of the species in different countries of the worldі, history of invasion of the pest in Ukraine, degree of damage to plantations of different box (Buxus L.) species and colony density in certain areas. The chronology of the distribution of C. perspectalis was studied using literature sources and international databases: Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), Delivering Alien Invasive Species Inventories for Europe (DAISIE), European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO). The information on the history of the species' invasion in Ukraine and in particular in the Chernivtsi region was found in the literature, using the database of the National Biodiversity Information Network (UkrBIN), through questionnaires and personal observations using the route method (counting the number of C. perspectalis on a certain route). The degree of damage to Buxus sp. shrubs was determined visually using a scale. The density of C. perspectalis in each area was assessed by total counts and direct counts in situ with a parallel assessment of habitat size. It was found that the expansion of C. perspectalis beyond its native range began in 2006 from southwestern Germany. In 15 years, the species has occupied the territories of about 40 mainland and island countries of the North American and European continents. Since 2014, after the invasion of the Zakarpattia region, C. perspectalis has begun to spread throughout the Ukrainian territories. Currently, the secondary range of the species is represented by 14 regions. The presence of C. perspectalis has been detected in 16 settlements of Chernivtsi region, where the degree of damage to box shrubs is mostly severe. The density of caterpillars on most bushes is up to 100 individuals/m2, which indicates the high damage of the species. Памятные мероприятия в Омской области (1937 г.) по случаю 100-летия со дня смерти А. С. Пушкина

One of the significant events of 1937 in the USSR was the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the death of A. S. Pushkin, which contributed to attracting the attention of Soviet citizens to the life and work of the poet. The purpose of this work is to examine the process of organizing and holding Pushkin Days in settlements of the Omsk region. The choice of the region is connected with the coverage of a large territory, which was inhabited by different populations. The research is based on a number of unpublished documents from the funds of the Historical Archive of the Omsk region, as well as materials of the periodical press of the Omsk region for 1936–1937. In conclusion, it is noted that the celebration of the anniversary of the poet’s death significantly influenced the development of cultural life in the USSR, helped to attract the population to the problem of illiteracy, attracted the indigenous population of Siberia to participate in the event.
