Abstract: The project mutifaced healthcare information system to accurate information aboutmedicines and their applications is crucial. This report presents a concept for a medicine-based website designed to provide users with a user-friendly interface to search for medicines, understand their uses, compositions, and potential side effects. The website consists of three main pages: the home page, the symptom search page, and the image upload page.The home page serves as an introduction to the website's services and provides navigation to the other pages. The symptom search page allows users to input their symptoms and receive a list of potential diseases, along with the top three recommended medicines based on user reviews. This feature aims to assist users in making informed decisions about their healthcare needs.The image upload page enables users to upload images of medicines, with the website providing information on the medicine name, uses, composition, and side effects. Additionally, a unique feature of this page is the "speak" button, which allows users to listen to the information through the speaker, enhancing accessibility for users with visual impairments.Overall, this concept aims to enhance healthcare accessibility by providing a comprehensive platform for accessing reliable information about medicines, empowering users to make informed decisions about their healthcare.

Meningkatkan Daya Saing UMKM Wardang Melalui Strategi Pemasaran Digital

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in supporting the Indonesian economy, but many face challenges in implementing effective marketing strategies. Wardang, a Padang cuisine business located in Tangerang Regency, shows significant growth potential but has not fully utilized digital marketing tools. This community service program aims to assist Wardang MSMEs in developing and implementing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. Through a combination of observation, interviews, and SWOT analysis, the program identifies key areas that need improvement and provides tailored support. This includes creating engaging social media content, developing digital menus, and building custom service websites. This initiative has succeeded in expanding Wardang's market reach, increasing its digital visibility, and strengthening its competitiveness in the market.

Nutrition information and the menopause: An online survey of perimenopausal and menopausal women.

This study aimed to explore where perimenopausal and menopausal women get their nutrition information from, and how reliable they perceive these sources to be. This was a cross-sectional study that used an online survey to collect data about nutrition information seeking habits. The survey was generated using the Qualtrics software and promoted via social media. The convenience sample included women over the age of 40 years living in the UK. Main outcome measures: Quantitative data. Two hundred and sixty-nine responses were analysed. The majority of respondents were over the age of 50, and from a white British background. Online sources were most commonly used by women to access nutrition information, namely official websites such as the British Menopause Society (BMS) and National Health Service (NHS) websites. The majority of participants believed that these, along with research papers, were the most reliable sources. However, receiving nutrition information from healthcare professionals was most likely to cause women to change their behaviour towards nutrition. The majority of women were interested in receiving targeted menopausal nutrition information, and this would ideally be from official websites or their healthcare professionals. Findings from this study suggest that women predominantly rely on online sources for information about nutrition, perceiving official websites as reliable sources. There is a demand among women for tailored nutritional guidance during the menopausal transition, emphasising the importance of providing accessible and targeted resources to support women's health needs during this life stage.

Registered Nurse Staffing and Inpatient Outcomes in Korean Long-Term Care Hospitals

Background/Objectives: There is a relative lack of specific research on registered nurse (RN) staffing in long-term care hospitals in the Republic of Korea. This study investigated the association between RN staffing levels and inpatient outcomes in long-term care hospitals in the Republic of Korea. Methods: Nationwide data of long-term care hospitals from the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Services website were used to analyze the association between registered nurse staffing levels and 7 inpatient outcome indicators. Results: The results indicated that in long-term care hospitals with higher RN staffing levels, there was an improvement in moderate-to-severe pain, activities of daily living enhancement, lower prevalence of indwelling catheters, reduction in the incidence of pressure ulcers, improvement in existing pressure ulcers, and increased rate of return to the community. Similar results were observed in analyses conducted according to disease classification groups. Conclusions: These findings suggest that increasing RN staffing levels can enhance patient safety and improve treatment outcomes. Furthermore, this study provided important foundational data for developing policies to optimize RN staffing in long-term care hospitals in the Republic of Korea.

Analysis of Field Work Practice Information System Service Quality Using The Webqual 4.0 Method and Importance Performance Analysis

In the current digital era, the quality of website services is a crucial factor in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of information systems, including the Information Systems Study Program Field Work Information System (SIPKL) at Universitas Terbuka. However, currently there is no in-depth evaluation of the quality of SIPKL services from a user perspective. This research aims to review the service quality of the SIPKL website as a whole and measure the level of user satisfaction with the services provided. To achieve this goal, the WebQual 4.0 method is used which measures three main dimensions of service quality, namely usability, information quality, and interaction quality. In addition, the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method is applied to evaluate the importance and performance of each service attribute being measured, so as to identify areas that require improvement. Data was collected through a survey with 100 respondents from Information Systems study program students who had used the SIPKL website. The research results show a value of 101.6% for the level of conformity, which indicates that the SIPKL website service performance has met or even exceeded user expectations and interests. Meanwhile, the gap value is categorized as "Good" with a positive value of 0.08 or >0. Indicators that require improvement are in quadrants II and III. Overall, this research provides strategic recommendations for SIPKL website managers to improve service quality so that it is more optimal in supporting students' needs in undergoing PKL.

Are we neglecting the influence of national culture (individualism–collectivism index) in mitigating the instances of data breach?

PurposeBased on neo-institutional theory, this study evaluates factors that affect instances of data breaches in a hospital. The authors study the effect of adopting the health information exchange (HIE) initiative on a hospital’s data breach threats. This study integrates formal and information institutional factors to identify the antecedents that influence data breaches when adopting HIE. This study uses a hospital’s entrepreneurial orientation (EO) as a formal institutional factor and national culture (collectivism–individualism) as an informal institutional factor.Design/methodology/approachUsing a Statistical Analysis System, the authors analyze US hospital observations over five years. The data was collected from the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) database, the Health and Human Services website and the Vandello and Cohen (1999) collectivism index.FindingsThis study finds that when hospitals adopt HIEs, data breaches increase. This study also finds that both EO (formal institutional factor) and the individualism–collectivism index (informal institutional factor) significantly moderate these instances.Research limitations/implicationsHIMSS has not updated its data set to reflect recent hospital data, so this study’s data set lacks recent data on US hospitals.Originality/valueThis study is one of the few studies to address the impact of cultural variation in US hospitals and how it interacts with entrepreneurial activity to lower data breach threats when adopting new data exchange standards.

Inappropriate Denials for Radiation Therapy in Medicare Advantage Plans

PurposeRadiation oncologists are known to be burdened with prior authorization and insurance denials more than other medical specialties. This analysis sought to use publicly available data and determine whether Medicare Advantage (MA) plans are inappropriately denying Radiation Therapy (RT) services more than other health services. Methods and MaterialsData from the Appeals Decision Search on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) website were extracted from 2022 through June 2024. The data contain appeal decisions from a third-party Independent Review Entity (IRE), which uses Medicare coverage guidelines to determine appropriateness of a denial. Percentages of inappropriate denials were calculated for RT services and all health services. Chi-squared test was used to compare inappropriate denial levels between RT and everything else. Decisions were also filtered by “keyword” and “condition” to analyze trends in treatment modalities and diagnosis, respectively. ResultsRT services were inappropriately denied 15.04%, 18.69%, and 16.01% for 2022, 2023 and 2024, respectively, while inappropriate denials for all health services were only 4.69%, 5.28% and 3.44%, respectively. Overall, since 2022, 274 out of 1576 RT appeals were inappropriately denied (17.39%), while only 20,195 out of 433,788 total appeals were inappropriately denied for all health services (4.66%). The difference was statistically significant for all three years and for the entire time period, with all p values <.00001.Using keywords Brachytherapy, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Proton and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) inappropriate denial rates varied at 12.75%, 26.11%,13.02% and 41.06%, respectively, from 2022-2024. Prostate cancer appeals for protons had particularly low rates of inappropriate denial at 3.45%, while breast cancer appeals for IMRT had particularly high rates of inappropriate denial at 82.14%. ConclusionMA plans are inappropriately denying RT services more than non-RT services. These data warrant urgent policy changes to prevent Medicare-eligible patients from being inappropriately denied access to cancer treatments.

Academic Productivity at Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellowship Programs in the United States Has a Weak Positive Correlation With Nonresearch Lifetime Industry Earnings

PurposeTo characterize the relationship between academic productivity, as defined by H-index, and industry payments for fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeons in faculty positions at sports medicine fellowships. MethodsThe American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) fellowship directory was used to create a comprehensive list of all fellowship programs nationwide. Fellowship websites were then reviewed to generate a list of the teaching faculty associated with each program. Total non-research life-time earnings was obtained from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services website. Academic productivity of each fellowship faculty was assessed via H-index. Frequency counts and other descriptive statistic measures were used to describe the data for this study. Correlation was performed for continuous data using Spearman’s rho. Results90 orthopedic surgery sports medicine fellowships were identified with a combined total of 574 orthopedic surgery sports medicine fellowship faculty. There was a weak positive correlation between individual physician H-index and individual physician life-time earnings at orthopedic surgery sports medicine fellowships (p<0.001; Spearman’s rho = 0.329). There was a statistically significant difference between individual faculty H-index by quartile and individual faculty life-time earnings (test statistic: 47.3; p<0.001). There was no significant regional difference in payments but there is remarkable heterogeneity in the distribution of payments to individual physicians, with the top 10% of physicians receiving over 80% of industry dollars. ConclusionThere is a positive correlation between academic productivity and industry payments at both the individual and institutional level in orthopedic sports medicine departments, although this relationship was greater at the fellowship level. Furthermore, the majority of non-research industry funding goes to a minority of physicians. Clinical RelevanceEvaluating the impact that non-research industry payments have on a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon's research productivity can offer valuable insights into the relationship between industry compensation and scholarly output in this field.

Programmes promoted on police service websites to safeguard autistic individuals in Ontario, Canada: an inductive content analysis

PurposeThis study (1) explores what programmes police services promote for autistic individuals on their websites and (2) describes how autistic individuals are constructed in the information about these programmes.Design/methodology/approachAll 53 official police service websites in Ontario, Canada, were examined to determine which programmes were promoted for autistic individuals. Inductive qualitative content analysis was used to identify and describe how autism was constructed in the information about the programmes.FindingsAbout 64.8% of police services in Ontario, Canada, promoted at least one programme to autistic individuals and their caregivers. These programmes included Vulnerable Person and Autism Registries, MedicAlert™ and Project Lifesaver™. Autistic individuals were described as vulnerable using medicalised and tragic narratives of autism.Originality/valueAutistic individuals and caregivers have suggested several interventions to improve police-autistic individual encounters. Little is known about which interventions police services have adopted and which representations of autism are used to describe autistic individuals.

State-level trends in access to Medicaid family planning services, 2008-2023.

To characterize the landscape of policies that determine eligibility for family planning services through Medicaid programs and describe trends in eligibility and its determinants over time. Secondary data were collected for all states in the United States for the years 2008 through 2023. Data on economic and demographic characteristics came from the American Community Survey (ACS). Our descriptive study characterized state adoptions of Medicaid family planning section 1115 waivers and state plan amendments (SPA) and their eligibility criteria. We then estimated the proportion of women aged 19-44 years who were eligible for family planning services through Medicaid and identified the key determinants of changes in eligibility, by state and year. Information on state Medicaid policies was extracted from documentation on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services website. When estimating the eligible population sizes, the denominator was women aged 19-44 years, the group most likely to be eligible for Medicaid family planning programs. Supplemental data on program enrollment or utilization were collected from states' websites and reports. Though eligibility limits for family planning through Medicaid generally increased over time, the proportion of women aged 19-44 years eligible for at least limited benefits decreased from 45.0% in 2012 to 39.4% in 2022, largely because of increases in household income. Trends varied considerably across states and by eligibility pathway. Among women with incomes below the poverty level, the proportion who were not eligible for Medicaid family planning services decreased from 6.3% in 2013 to 1.5% in 2022. Our data demonstrated substantial geographic and temporal variation in eligibility for family planning services through Medicaid. We identified key drivers of eligibility changes that may have important implications for health services analyses of means-tested public programs.

Towards women's digital health equity: A qualitative inquiry into attitude and adoption of reproductive mHealth services in Bangladesh.

Health equity in Bangladesh faces a large chasm over the economic conditions, socio-cultural factors and geographic location despite the push for digitalization of the health sector. While some research has been conducted assessing the viability of digital health solutions in Bangladesh, gender dynamics of digital healthcare have been absent. This study dived into healthcare equity for women with a focus on reproductive health services delivered through mobile devices. This paper reported the findings of a qualitative study employing in-depth interviews conducted among 26 women about their behavioral intention to use mHealth services for reproductive health and the underlying factors influencing this intention with the help of the Integrative Model of Planned Behavior (IMPB). A snowball sampling technique were used to interview those university educated women, aged 21-31, based on their familiarity and exposure of mHealth services from seven universities in Bangladesh. The findings suggested that users of mHealth services find it more convenient and secure compared to visiting healthcare facilities, especially for trivial issues and inquiries regarding their reproductive health. Although promoting such services is lagging behind traditional healthcare, the attitude toward reproductive health services in Bangladesh is generally favorable resulting increasing adoption and use. Because such information-related mobile services (apps, websites, and social media) served as a first base of knowledge on reproductive health among many young girls and women in Bangladesh, who are generally shy to share or talk about their menstruation or personal health problems with family members, peers, or even health professionals due to socio-cultural factors and stigmatization. Conversely, urban centric services, availability of experts, quality management, security of privacy, authenticity of the information, digital divide, lack of campaign initiatives, lack of equipment and technology, lack of sex education, and outdated apps and websites were identified as obstacles that constrain the widespread use of reproductive mHealth services in Bangladesh. This study also concluded that promotion will be crucial in reforming conservative norms, taboos, and misconceptions about women's health and recommended such endeavors to be initiated by the policy makers as there is a substantive need for a specific policy regulating emerging digital health market in Bangladesh. Notwithstanding, women-only sample, low sample size, narrow focus on mHealth users and absence of perspectives from healthcare providers were among shortcomings of this study which could be addressed in future research. Further quantitative explorations are must to determine the usage patterns of reproductive mHealth services and their effectiveness that would identify implementation challenges in terms of customization and personalization in reproductive healthcare in a developing country like Bangladesh.

A scoping review to map public-facing websites for non-traumatic wrist disorders with quality evaluation.

Public-facing resources for non-traumatic wrist disorders (NTWD) exist, but care recipients and healthcare professionals alike are uncertain where to access the most useful resources and have raised concerns over the quality of information provided. Previous studies involving stakeholders highlight a need for quality evaluation of these resources. The aim of this study was to identify website resources accessible to UK-based online health seekers and explore their content through quality assessment. A scoping review of public-facing websites was conducted in accordance with Joanna Briggs Institute guidelines and PRISMA-ScR checklist. An a-priori search strategy was performed of publicly accessible websites using lay terms were entered into a simple Google search. The DISCERN tool was used to appraise the quality of health information with additional data charted to pre-determined criteria. The 82 websites meeting inclusion criteria scored an average of 2/5 DISCERN. Nine funding categories existed with private service websites were the most common. 18 different diagnoses were found with twenty different management interventions were recommended. Considerable variation was found in the quality of websites providing information which people with NTWD are likely to access. Quality and trustworthiness of website information on NTWD are not the preserve of any sector or organisation and we identified potential for improvements across the board.

Marketing mental health services: a mixed-methods analysis of racially and ethnically diverse college students’ engagement with and perspectives on U.S. university mental health clinics’ websites

BackgroundThe United States (U.S.) faces a significant mental health crisis, with around 52.9 million adults experiencing mental health disorders, with young adults (18–25 years old), such as college students, having the highest prevalence and lowest service utilization rates. While efforts to expand mental health services through “push” strategies are in place (e.g., training therapists in evidence-based therapies), limited initial engagement suggests a need for “pull strategies” and targeted marketing that make services attractive to college students and increase demand. This mixed-methods study identifies U.S. university mental health clinic websites and website characteristics that are attractive and engaging to college students interested in seeking mental health services (i.e., students were considering or actively looking for mental health support).MethodsEleven U.S. university websites were chosen (10 randomly and one from the university where students were attending) from a pool of 44 Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System training clinics websites. Fifty-seven college students (Mage = 20.95, SD = 2.97; 81% female; 68% racial/ethnic minority) were videorecorded engaging with two U.S. university mental health clinic websites, completed self-report engagement measures, and gave detailed feedback about websites through semi-structured interviews.ResultsLikert scale scores revealed moderate engagement with all websites (e.g., they were interesting and helpful). Qualitative results indicated that websites that provided important and easily understood information about key features of services (e.g., types, evidence-base, and cost), therapist backgrounds, psychoeducation, used lay language, and had an appealing website layout (e.g., color, font, images, organization, and interactive components) generated greater consumer interest and trust in their mental health services.ConclusionsThis study emphasizes the importance of using marketing strategies to enhance college students’ engagement through mental health service websites. Salient features, psychoeducation, and effective promotional strategies (e.g., how information is presented) were identified as crucial for website engagement and subsequent mental health service uptake. Using marketing strategies, such as tailoring language to consumer literacy levels, describing the evidence-base of services, and improving website design may address college students’ needs and enhance initial mental health service engagement.

B2C Cross-Border E-Commerce: Spillover Effects of Knowledge Sharing in Virtual Communities

ABSTRACT Although customers often participate in cross-border e-commerce (CBEC), little is known about how customers obtain and process the knowledge they seek regarding cross-border e-commerce websites. This research explores cross-platform spillover effects of knowledge sharing in virtual communities on customers’ perceived website quality and customer service of independent cross-border e-commerce websites and their subsequent purchase intentions. By applying cue utilization theory and expectation-disconfirmation theory, we develop a model that captures how CBEC-related knowledge sharing in virtual communities influences customers’ purchase intentions on CBEC websites that are independent of these virtual communities. A quantitative survey of customers with CBEC purchase experience was conducted with three top virtual communities without associated CBEC websites, yielding 521 responses. The results suggest that CBEC-related knowledge sharing in virtual communities has significant positive effects on customers’ perceptions of website quality and customer service, and, thereafter, their purchase intentions. This research demonstrates that spillover effects from virtual communities to independent CBEC websites indeed exist and identifies the underlying mechanisms that explain how these spillover effects move from virtual communities to CBEC websites.

This study aims to design and develop the Muggle Cloud service website integrated with WHMCS (Web Host Manager Complete Solution) and Tidio LiveChat. The background of this research is the need for a hosting platform that can manage hosting services, payments, and customer support effectively and efficiently. Many hosting companies currently face difficulties in integrating account management systems, payment processes, and customer support, resulting in suboptimal services for users. The purpose of this research is to develop an integrated system that can solve these problems by providing a website that facilitates hosting service management and supports real-time interaction between customers and technical support. The method used in this research is the Waterfall software development model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through literature studies, interviews with related parties, and analysis of existing systems. The results of the research show that the integration between WHMCS and Tidio LiveChat on the Muggle Cloud platform successfully provides an effective solution for managing hosting services and customer support. The implementation of this system not only simplifies administrative and payment processes but also increases responsiveness to customer needs and inquiries through live chat features. The conclusion of this research is that the integrated system can improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in hosting service companies and make an important contribution to the development of integrated hosting service management technology.

Review of Local Homeless Mortality Efforts: A Call for Standardized Data and Reporting.

There are currently no national estimates of how many people die while unhoused in the US. Local jurisdictions have developed their own approaches for estimating homeless mortality. We aimed to examine these local approaches, document what is known about homeless mortality, and summarize local methodologies. We reviewed 17 publicly available homeless mortality reports (ie, gray literature). Reports were sought from government, Health Care for the Homeless, coalition to end homelessness, and other advocacy and social service websites. From each report, we extracted the number of homeless deaths, dates of observation, data source(s) used, determination of homeless status, manners and causes of death, and decedent demographics. Data collection and reporting on homeless mortality varied greatly across reports. This variation limits aggregation across reports. Medical examiner data was the most used data source. Manner of death was the most consistently collected field, with accidental deaths reported as the most prevalent manner of homeless deaths. Not all reports listed specific causes of death, but those that did reported toxicity (eg, overdose) and cardiovascular causes as most prevalent. The most granular age category of most homeless decedents was 40 to 60years. On average, 80% of decedents were of male sex. While over half of reports included race and ethnicity information, disparities could not be estimated without suitable denominators. Standardized data collection and reporting guidance is needed for homeless mortality. Health departments can work with local Health Care for the Homeless programs and Continuums of Care to establish data sharing processes. Matching vital statistics with homeless service utilization records may be one opportunity to improve these efforts. Until there is federal or national guidance on these standards, localities can consider adding housing or homelessness variables as optional or mandatory fields in electronic death reporting systems.

The rapid development of information technology has impacted the way people think and perceive various activities. This swift progress, along with its wide-ranging potential applications, opens up opportunities for quick access to and dissemination of information. In village governance, information technology is used to quickly disseminate information and provide village services. The village of Pupuan has implemented the OpenSID village information system. However, it is not yet fully utilized by the village staff because the data on the website has not been fully entered. Additionally, there are no guidelines for submitting requests on the village website. Based on this situation, the researcher conducted activities such as optimizing the village website database, creating articles on the village website, and creating user manuals and instructional videos for the website's services. These activities are expected to provide the benefits of a village information system to the government of Pupuan Village and the local community. As a result, the OpenSID website of Pupuan Village was successfully managed and developed through these activities, and the village staff gained a better understanding of the website's services through the provided training and user manuals.

Empirical analysis of the cyberattacks of the Russian–Ukrainian war

This research study aims to empirically analyze the cyberattacks that occurred in the context of the Russian–Ukrainian conflict between 2022 and 2023, with a specific focus on the impact of these attacks on civilian infrastructure and institutions. The data collection for this study is based on publicly available sources from the Cyber- Peace Institute, taking into account various types of incidents such as malware, distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, spam, information operations, and website defacements. The study employs a network theory approach to examine the structure and dynamics of incidents and campaigns, while additional statistical methods and trend analysis are used to assess sector-specific and geographic patterns, as well as changes in attack frequency and severity. The research aims to contribute to the existing literature on cyber warfare and to provide valuable insights into the cyber threats faced by civilian infrastructure and institutions during times of conflict.
