Linguistic implementation of author's modality in the series of novels “Manyunya” by Narine Abgaryan

The article examines the peculiarities of representation of personality of the author via linguistic means of literary text. Definition is given to the concept of “author's modality”, which implies the author’s vision, attitude, and value orientations expressed through selection of particular language means. The subject of this research is the linguistic peculiarities of literary text, which allowed the audience to portray the image of the author, and analyze the specifics of representation her linguistic personality. The goal of this research consists in determination of language means that reflects the peculiarities of the author’s linguistic personality, as well as reveal individuality and distinctness of literary style of N. Abgaryan. The research material is comprised of the partially biographical novels of the contemporary Russian writer Narine Abgaryan “Manyunya”, “Manyunya Writes a Fantastic Novel”, and "Manyunya, Ba Jubilee, and other Tribulation”. The analysis is based on the methodological toolset of the theory of linguistic personality proposed by Y. N. Karaulov, literary studies of V. V. Vinogradov, M. M. Bakhtin, L. N. Churilina, etc., dedicated to the author, analysis of linguistic personality of the character of literary work. The scientific novelty of consists in identification of specific manifestations of  author's modality on the example of works of the contemporary Russian writer, which allows fully revealing the image of a modern author. The conducted research highlights and characterize specific features of linguistic implementation of author's modality: priority concepts in the author's worldview (“family”, “time”, “memory”); individuality of creative perception and manners of the author (irony, self-irony, nostalgia, description of tastes and smells); authorial transitions (remarks, references); visual arrangement of the text. The acquired results can be used in the lectures on studying literary texts, classes on linguoculturology, linguopersonology, as well as teaching Russian to foreign audience.

A Real Witcher—Slavic or Universal; from a Book, a Game or a TV Series? In the Circle of Multimedia Adaptations of a Fantasy Series of Novels “The Witcher” by A. Sapkowski

A series of novels about a witcher, written by Andrzej Sapkowski almost thirty years ago, has now become an inspiration for the creation of mass productions of mainstream popular culture—film and multimedia adaptations for use in computer games. It is one of the few examples of global messages of mass culture being based on Polish creativity. The recognition of “The Witcher”, due to the Netflix production, soon contributed to building the national pride of Polish people, and at the same time sparked a discussion in Central and Eastern European countries on the consequences of the multimedia adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s prose. Questions about the dissonance between the Slavic and universal dimensions of “The Witcher” in relation to the original novels and their adaptations are a part of the traditional discourse on the adaptability of literature and its consequences for the reception by the audience. This article tries to capture the specific character of the adaptations of Andrzej Sapkowski’s literature from the point of view of typology, known from the literature of the subject, as well as to answer the question about the consequences of the discrepancy between the original book and its adaptations in the form of a film, a TV series, and computer games. The considerations in the article were based on the literature analysis and the research based on the existing sources.

Edmund Yates and Women Writers of The World

ABSTRACT This essay investigates the professional careers of a group of women writers associated with Edmund Yates in his role as editor and owner of various Victorian periodicals, including Temple Bar, Time, and his most important achievement, the weekly society paper established in 1874 titled The World. He valued women who could articulate the interests of middle- to upper-class readers in concise, unsentimental prose or verse and maintained close control over production. These women authors found it necessary to write quickly, and sometimes on demand, in a variety of genres, such as poetry, short fiction, serial novels, travel narratives, columns, and feature essays, as well as paragraphs for Yates's witty and often controversial column in The World, “What the World Says”. This article expands our knowledge of the woman writer's intense literary activity writing for Yates in the traditionally masculine profession of Victorian journalism.

Jo Nesbø is one of the most important and popular crimefiction writers of today, as well as a typical representative of thecontemporary literary genre known as Scandinavian crime fiction.Within the entire literary opus of this writer, the central positionis reserved for the series of novels in which detective Harry Hole isthe main character. Various segments and aspects of these novelsdemonstrate a strong connection and relation with popularculture, and they are identified and discussed in this article.However, before the mentioned identification and discussion,some facts are stated regarding the phenomena of Scandinaviancrime fiction, as a regionally determined literary genre whichemerged to the world literature scene in full power at the end ofthe 20th and the first decades of the 21st century, and its relation topopular culture.

Language means of representation of the chronotope of Chaos in a series of novels “The Chronicles of Amber” by Roger Zelazny

This article examines the problem of representation of chronotope using language means. The object of this research is a series of novels “The Chronicles of Amber” by Roger Zelazny in English language. The subject of this research is the lexical units and stylistic techniques used by R. Zelazny for visualization of representation of the chronotope of Chaos. The article substantiates attribution of this series of novels to postmodernist based on the analysis of characteristic features of the text and realization of the ideological concept. The goal of study lies determination of the universal principles of representation of spatial-temporal continuum of the Chaos, as well as establishment of dependence of the choice evaluative connotation of language means on personality of the narrator. The work is conducted at the intersection of linguistics and literary studies. The novelty consists in recognition of the leading role of chronotopic subject in determining tonality of representation of the chronotope. The main conclusion is defined by the fact that the key principle of representation of spatial and temporal components of the chronotope of Chaos in R. Zelazny’s series of novels is the destruction of realistic perception of space and time. It was also established that change of voice of the narrator leads to the shift of evaluative paradigm. An extremely negative attitude of the first narrator to the Courts of Chaos as a representative of the chronotope of Chaos, expressed through the negatively connoted epithets, is justified by its affiliation to Amber as a representative of the Order. Dual position of the second narrator leads to the change in tonality of description of physical personification of the chronotope of Chaos. Counterbalance of negatively and positively connoted lexical units creates the effect of objectivity, essential for realization of ideological content of the novel.

Soviet Colonial Modernity and the Everyday in Twenty-First Century Latvian Literature

This paper intends to discuss the case of Latvia in comparison with other European postcolonial situations and to trace the problems which determine the complexity of self-consciousness of the inhabitants of the country from postcolonial and post-Soviet perspective. The focus of this investigation is on the series of novels which deal with twentieth-century history and memory in Latvia. Due to the fact that the chosen texts attempt an evaluation of the Soviet past, an attention is paid to those aspects of representation of the everyday which considerably distinguish contemporary fiction from literary works created during the period of socialist realist dominance. The importance of history and of different everyday practices in forming specific features of national identity is also seen in the context of the attempts of contemporary authors to discover and define themselves as part of today’s global community as they try to position themselves within world literature. In this perspective, the contemporary as well as the historical experience of the Baltic nations testifies to the common roots of European society helping to build bridges between different ethnic and social groups and their members.

Dtree2vec: A High-Accuracy and Dynamic Scheme for Real-Time Book Recommendation by Serialized Chapters and Local Fine-Grained Partitioning

With the rapid development of social computing technologies and online reading platforms, the proportion of e-books, especially online serialized novels, has been increasing. Identifying ways to add updated serialized books to readers’ real-time recommendation lists has become an urgent problem to be solved. While serialized books are still underwritten and in the process of production, their features and categories can constantly evolve and change, lacking complete text content information and complete global scoring data. Therefore, this paper proposes a dynamic DTree2Vec scheme for serialized books that models text of varying degrees of completion to achieve unified semantic feature representation to measure the semantic relevance of books. At the same time, it ensures recommendation quality by tracking the update status of serialized books and by adding the subsequent chapter content in real time. This scheme establishes a dynamic hierarchical tree structure for serialized books and applies a cosine-type local reconstruction model to reconstruct new semantic features of books. In addition, the fine-grained factor of chapter partitioning is introduced to the reconstruction process to adjust the proportion of global and local features to better represent the semantic features of books. We analyzed effects of the content of serialized chapters on the recommendation results and used semantic features of the reconstruction to represent the content of serial novels in real time. The experiment results prove that the proposed DTree2Vec scheme can achieve higher degrees of recommendation accuracy when dealing with unfinished serialized books, effectively alleviating dynamic capture problems and real-time recommendations of book recommendations.

Purification Strategy in the Arabic Translations of Diary of A Wimpy Kid

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a highly regarded series of novels and the winner of many prizes worldwide targeting children and teenagers. The current paper aims to compare the original novel written in English with its Arabic Translation to highlight the purifying measures taken by the publishers to adapt the inappropriate or unsuitable content for the target reader. The original novel includes mentions of love, relationships, indecent clothes, religion and cultural holidays which were all altered and adapted to the Arabic culture. Based on an interview conducted with the publishers of the Arabic translation, translating and writing for children go through a strict filter to guarantee that any content corresponds with Arabic values to guarantee the book’s access to every Arab country. The translator, therefore, seems to be free from the blame of making the changes to the original novel as the publishers dictated the translation guidelines. The paper shows that the translators resorted to using strategies such as omission, substitution, and cultural adaptations to purify the content of the original novel..

"The Uncontrollability of Real Things": Operation Shylock, Sabbath's Theater, and Philip Roth's Falstaffian Theology of Judaism

Philip Roth's engagement with William Shakespeare has been a steady and intense career-long affair. Hermione Lee, in remarks delivered on the occasion of Roth's eightieth birthday, observed that Roth's use of Shakespeare extends at least as far back as Portnoy's Complaint (1969). "Roth has Shakespeare deep in his head," Lee averred, and of this there can be no doubt. What can be questioned, however, is the upward-charting trajectory of Roth's use of Shakespeare. Even a cursory reading of Roth reveals that the more he aged, and the more his career progressed, the more he invoked Shakespeare, demonstrated in the series of novels beginning with Operation Shylock (1993), crescendoing in Sabbath's Theater (1995), and culminating in Exit Ghost (2007) and The Humbling (2009). Roth's greater use of Shakespeare in the later stages of his career—greater in the dual senses of frequency and engagement—can be ascribed, this article argues, to Roth's growing involvement with Jewish identity and human mortality.

287 BOOKS IN REVIEW reminding us just how deeply the author was influenced by this tradition himself, as evidenced by his late series of novels—e.g., Cocaine Nights (1996)—that explore the psychopathology of criminal transgression. Paul A. Green’s “The Final Analysis” is a rather silly first-person narrative of a patient who is psychoanalyzed by “Dr. Ballard,” while Stephen E. Andrews’s “Saucer Occupant” is an intermittently engaging creative memoir that blends Ballard (and New Wave sf more generally) with the tabloid fantasies of UFOlogy. Editor McGrath’s own contribution, a vivid vignette of entropic breakdown in a luxury condo building, reads like an outtake from Ballard’s High-Rise. The book also gathers creative work in different media, such as Pippa Tandy’s “Trainsformations,” a series of overdeveloped photos of exurban hinterlands taken from the windows of a speeding train at dusk, and Sam Scoggins’s “Views of the Uncanny Valley,” a cluster of “landscape photographs” digitally produced by a Generative Adversarial Network. The blurry and/or virtual landscapes captured in these two pieces recapitulate the spatial obsessions of Ballard in striking new contexts. Like Scroggins’s piece, Andrew C. Wenaus’s essay “Coping with Zero to a Million Decimals” shows how much Ballard has inspired contemporary digital artists and web designers—here the “Twitterbot” experiments of Mike Bonsell, who uses AI technology to evoke the author’s distinctive ideas and prose style. Bonsell’s Twitter account @JGB_Sentences, for example, generates, twice per day, new “Ballardian” lines, which capture the author’s tone and syntax with uncanny accuracy. The remaining handful of pieces are of largely biographical interest, including a “lost” interview with Ballard that appeared in a 1969 issue of the Illustrated London News and a short story written by a childhood friend of Ballard in 1930s Shanghai. These items are at best intriguing ephemera; more affecting is a photo essay by Karolina Urbaniak that chronicles her trip with Ballard’s daughter, Fay, to revisit the family home in Shepperton, a suburb just outside London. Interleaved with snapshots of the house and surrounding neighborhood are Fay’s fond recollections of her father in various cozily domestic scenes—drinking a beer, walking the dog, and other mundane behaviors that effectively humanize this rather strange and forbidding man. My favorite piece in the volume is an essay by Dominika Oramus—author of the excellent study, Grave New World: The Decline of the West in the Fiction of J.G. Ballard (2015), which I reviewed in the July 2016 issue of this journal—that explores Ballard’s friendship with Angela Carter and the similarities between their brilliantly original works of surrealistic science fiction. One of the first classes I taught at the University of Iowa, way back in the mid-1990s, brought together the work of Ballard and Carter, so it is nice to have my sense of their mutual affinity confirmed in this lovely little essay.—Rob Latham, Twentynine Palms Giant Spiders and Zombie Moms: A Guide to Posthuman Science Fiction. Simona Micali tailors her claims around a robust net of textual evidence that inevitably induces readers to review the classics and to dive into many new texts. This unique handbook to posthuman sf provides readers with a detailed taxonomy of nonhuman figures while problematizing those same categories. Far from being a mere list of typologies of monsters, Micali’s book focuses on those narratives where the distinction between human and non-human is not linear and dichotomous, but rather blurry and thought-provoking. While if a “giant spider must obviously be killed,” it is also true that “shooting our mother who has changed into a zombie and is trying to bite us on the neck will raise plenty of moral problems” (16). Anthony Trollope’s Late Style: Victorian Liberalism and Literary Form, by Frederik Van Dam

Michie (bio) Anthony Trollope’s Late Style: Victorian Liberalism and Literary Form, by Frederik Van Dam; pp. xi + 180. Edinburgh: Edinburgh University Press, 2016, £70.00, £19.99 paper, $120.00, $29.95 paper. Frederik Van Dam’s new book, Anthony Trollope’s Late Style: Victorian Liberalism and Literary Form, resembles classic studies of Trollope that appeared between the 1960s and 1980s: Robert Polhemus’s The Changing World of Anthony Trollope (1968), James Kincaid’s The Novels of Anthony Trollope (1977), Robert Tracy’s Trollope’s Later Novels (1978), and Christopher Herbert’s Trollope and Comic Pleasure (1987). Like these scholars, Van Dam approaches Trollope through close formal readings of a series of novels, mostly lesser-known works, to tease out the implications of Trollope’s famously understated literary practice. I refer to formal readings deliberately, as Van Dam’s seem to be less concerned with style (the word he chooses to describe his book in his main title) than with form and formal structures such as paraphrase and allusion. Anthony Trollope’s Late Style also seems to me less interested in lateness (which Van Dam defines in his introduction, using the work of Theodor Adorno, as a political rather than biographical lateness) than in an earliness that goes back to the classical period. The book is structured around what I consider to be paired chapters. Chapter 1 (the introduction) and chapter 2 (“Getting and Spending”) present both The Way We Live Now (1875) and Ayala’s Angel (1881) as novelistic responses to the economic changes brought about by late capitalism in Victorian Britain, the period of the proliferation of the great commercial millionaires that Harold Perkin describes in The Rise of Professional Society: England Since 1880 (1989). Chapters 3 and 4 deal with colonialism and the New Imperialism in the Australian novel John Caldigate (1879), An Old Man’s Love (1884), The American Senator (1877), The Fixed Period (1882), and The Land Leaguers (1883). Chapters 6 and 7 analyze social institutions—education and the law, respectively—in Cousin Henry (1879), Dr. Wortle’s School (1881), Is He Poppenjoy? (1877), and Mr. Scarborough’s Family (1883). The last two chapters focus on tact, chapter 8 in relation to love and chapter 9 in relation to affection and comedy in Is He Poppenjoy?, Marion Fay (1882), and Ayala’s Angel. I have left chapter 5 out of this synopsis, since I read it as both pivotal to the book’s logic and its most unusual chapter. That chapter deals with Trollope’s prose writings rather than his fiction and focuses primarily on his critical essays about, and biography of, Cicero. Referencing Edmund Burke, Matthew Arnold, Thomas Carlyle, John Stuart Mill, among many others, Van Dam here establishes his early claim that Trollope was “an intellectual exile among the elite of his time,” resisting his era’s tendency to privilege Caesar as an emblem of social authority by presenting Cicero as an advocate of civic republicanism (9). This analysis solidifies the arguments at the center of Van Dam’s book: namely, that “Trollope’s late writings are radical, even visionary” (12), that “they experiment with a number of literary conventions in order to articulate a form of subjectivity in which the individual element, agency, has been erased,” and that “these stylistic elements are part of his engagement with modernity” (9). These arguments place Van Dam’s work solidly in the realm of new studies of liberalism, a position that seems to be confirmed by the fact that he and Lauren Goodlad coauthored the essay on “Trollope and Politics” for The Routledge Companion to Anthony Trollope (2017). [End Page 710] Nevertheless, I read the central concerns of Anthony Trollope’s Late Style as less political than formal and less about modernity than about the past. What links the chapters of the book, to my mind, is their consistent turn to formal literary structures that preceded the advent of the novel. These would include the turn to romance and the fantastic in chapter 2, to Jacobean drama in chapter 3, to the carnivalesque, satire, allegory, and...

“I saw it all from the snake’s point of view” — Slithering through exceptions in focalisation in the Harry Potter novels

The Harry Potter novels are narrated from Harry’s point of view: Harry is the main reflector used by an omniscient narrator and the reader is therefore led to discover the magical world alongside this young wizard who was raised in a non-magical (Muggle) family. However, this general tendency is counterbalanced by a few exceptions. The incipits are exceptional insofar as there is a clear and systematic deictic push from the omniscient narrator’s deictic field to Harry’s deictic field; in the whole series of novels, four incipits are not narrated from Harry’s point of view at all. This paper studies the role(s) that these exceptions play at the micro and macrostructural levels in the saga. Other exceptions in focalisation – namely, the superposition of the deictic fields of Harry and of Voldemort from HP5 onwards – are given particular attention. They show a more manipulative narrative switch on the part of the author as they echo, or foreshadow, the revelation of the magical relationship that binds Harry to his enemy, Lord Voldemort.

Funko Hannibal in Florence: Fan Tourism, Participatory Culture, and Paratextual Play

Fan studies has explored the concepts of ‘film-induced tourism’ (Beeton 2005, 2015) or ‘media tourism’ via the notions of cult geography (Hills 2002) or fan pilgrimage (Porter 1999), arguing that “fan-text affective relationships cannot be separated from spatial concerns and categories” (Hills 2002:145). This article contributes to work on fan tourism and participatory cultures by focusing on a visit to Florence, Italy which was inspired by fandom of the television series Hannibal. The article discusses three main elements of this trip, reflecting on the experience of the author during that visit, to interrogate the links between transmediality and participatory culture, fandom and tourism. First, the article considers how Hannibal’s status as a transmedia text which spans the television series but also a series of novels and film adaptations, leads the fan-tourist to negotiate these different ‘versions’ of Florence. Whilst some places may be doubly coded as tourist and media sites or operate as special locations for different fans (see Lee 2012, Brooker 2007) previous work discussing this has focused on the variances between different texts. In the case of Hannibal, however, fan-tourists must negotiate the layering of various versions of the same story/text across the city, seeking out multiple real-world sites that have been used within the books/films/TV series. Locations thus become multi-coded and fans may operate their own distinctions regarding which version of the story, and therefore which Hannibal locations, are the most privileged and worth visiting. Second, the article explores how elements of participatory culture were utilised in the planning of the trip, drawing on existing fan knowledge of locations which is shared online. Since there is currently no formal organised Hannibal-related tourism industry in Florence, the fan-tourist needs to seek out their own locations and routes through the city, although these may be “mediated by the testimonies, amateur and professional, of previous fans” (Brooker 2004:27). The article focuses particularly on how ‘screenframing’, the practice of visiting “filming locations of […] favourite shows and movies, and try[ing] to align a screenshot from that film with the original background used in the film” (FangirlQuest, online) was used to identify key Hannibal locations and as a guide for engaging in attempted replication of photographs and iconic moments from the series. Drawing on this, the article uniquely explores the use of para-textual object such as merchandise in the fan-tourist experience, focusing on the use of a Hannibal Funko doll as an object of fandom on this visit to Florence. Carrying this item around sites of importance and inserting this object into photographs at key locations allows fan identities to be performed and displayed and for the links between the narrative world and the ‘real’ locations to be mediated. The article thus contributes to debates around fan-tourism and transmediality, responding to the argument that “little sustained research has explored the roles of tourist performances” (Kim 2010: 60) at meaningful sites. Whilst work has been conducted on tourists re-enacting scenes in photographs (Carl et al 2007, Kim 2010), there has been relatively little study of how and why fans may draw on material objects at important sites. The article also contributes to broader debates around material culture and fandom by focusing on the “materialities of fandom” in “specific configurations of place, purpose, and performance” (Rehak 2014). The article argues that the use of objects allows the fan to engage in the “emotional commitment and imaginative work” required to “approach a sense of communion with the fictional text” (Brooker 2004:14) since, whilst the fan themselves cannot ‘enter’ the narrative world, the use of relevant objects allows play with the borders between text, self, and object.

『주간여성』 게재소설에 나타나는 여성인식과 가부장 이데올로기는 결코 작가 개인의 것일 수 없으며, 좁게는 『주간여성』의 편집 방향 아래에서 형성되었고, 나아가서는 1970년을 전후로 한 한국 사회의 여성인식의 수준을 보여주는 것이라 할 수 있다. 이는 가부장제 담론과 무관하지 않기에 그 연구적 가치를 지니며 다른 작품, 작가, 매체에로의 확장을 통해서 지속적인 연구 확장이 가능하다. 본 연구는 1960-70년대 한국여성의 사회적 가치와 인식 형성의 토대가 평범한 시민들의 인식에서 어떻게 이데올로기화 해왔는지를 소설 텍스트를 통해 밝히고자 한다. 『주간여성』에 연재된 김승옥의 소설 《보통여자》는 당시의 여성교양담론이 스토리텔링을 통해 어떻게 여성에게 학습되었는지를 잘 보여준다. 이 소설은 인물설정, 공간적 배경, 갈등 전개 양상을 통해 당시 여성 독자들에게 가부장제 이데올로기를 전제로 한 여성의 사회적 역할과 가치를 공고화 하는 데 기여하였으며, 이는 통속소설로 분류된 일련의 1970년대 소설의 연구적 가치를 재고할 필요성을 상기해 준다.

The Voiceless Find their Voice: Resistance and Opposition in the Fantasy of Johan Heliot and Pierre Pevel

Resistance to dominant forms and opposition to the forces of power are two traits that are characteristic of our contemporary era; however, one might not expect such themes to play a role in works of the fantasy genre, which are often associated with—if not accused of—being escapist and distant from reality. Nonetheless, certain twenty-first-century French fantasy works, including Johan Heliot’s Faerie Stories series and Pierre Pevel’s Le Paris des merveilles series, engage with these very themes, linking them not only to questions of our time, but also illustrating the pertinence of the fantasy genre to current issues. This article uses the specific cases of these two series of novels to examine how the themes of resistance and opposition are deployed in fantasy universes before going on to argue how these same themes can be viewed on a “meta” level to grapple with the limits and criticisms of the fantasy genre itself, by demonstrating a form of resistance or opposition to the past and to conservative ideologies.

Emile Zola is one of the greatest writers in universal literature. In his important series of novels called "The Fortune of the Rougon-Macquart", Zola shows a surprising medical knowledge even though he did not have a formal medical education. We highlight not only his outstanding literary talent, but also the scientific relevance of the tremendous contribution to the medical field that can be extracted from his work. In this series, which describe the history of five generations within a large family suffering from neuropsychiatric and general pathologies, Zola emphasizes the hereditary component of several diseases. These observations probably place him as the first novelist who made an explicit emphasis on the power of inheritance in human behavior. ‘Missing Presumed’: computer games and digital adventures in the Colin Smythe/Terry Pratchett Collection

ABSTRACTThis essay explores the intersections between literature and new media through the lens of the Discworld computer games based on Sir Terry Pratchett’s novels. Although Pratchett was one of the twentieth century’s most successful authors in the English language, he has been largely absent from literary criticism, chiefly because he was and continues to be perceived as a popular author, a writer for the masses. The popularity of his Discworld series of novels led computer game developers to adapt them to new media in the 1980s and 1990s. The Colin Smythe/Terry Pratchett collection at Senate House Library, University of London, provides a treasure trove of information to understand this aspect of Pratchett’s vast literary and publishing output as a result of the survival of invaluable analogue peripheral records, visual and printed sources which document the creative process and Pratchett’s input. The essay argues that although these digital objects have been largely treated as physical objects and have been mostly retained for their artefactual and anecdotal value, the existence of analogue sources provides a unique opportunity to explore them in more detail, taking into account the historical, social and cultural context that enabled their creation to inform their future digital preservation.

La clasificación del ciclo de La guerra silenciosa (1970- 1978) como «literatura indigenista» hizo olvidar el carácter épico de las novelas de Manuel Scorza y la complejidad y riqueza de una literatura que se vale tanto de los procedimientos narrativos de la crónica como de los caminos abiertos por la nueva novela para describir los desencuentros del mito y de la Historia. La danza inmóvil (1983), principio de un nuevo ciclo novelesco titulado El fuego y la ceniza, seguirá cultivando la épica y las nuevas formas de escrituras, al abrir una reflexión crítica sobre la recepción de la literatura latinoamericana en Europa.
