Structural parameter sensitivity of the ‘limits to growth’ world model

The new concept of structural parameters for dynamical systems is introduced. The usual idea of parameter sensitivity analysis is generalized to structural parameter sensitivity analysis which includes the original concept as a special case. With the help of these tools the mathematical model basic to ‘The Limits to Growth’ is analysed and new insights into its structure are obtained. An empirical rule to ease the computational burden is proposed.
