There is a lack of a gold standard laboratory test that could differentiate between fertile and infertile men with accuracy. Even though semen analysis is a good test to evaluate a man’s overall fertility potential, it lacks the ability to precisely predict the likelihood of pregnancy. Oxidation reduction potential (ORP) is a measure of the relationship between oxidants and antioxidants, providing a comprehensive measure of oxidative stress. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the difference in the static ORP (sORP) between proven fertile and infertile men.
