Design of Self-Healing Control Method for Photo Voltaic Distribution Network of Internet of Things

During the construction of photo voltaic grid-connected distribution network, the self-healing control system is generally composed of monitoring computer, communication cable, communication interface, photoelectric converter, bus connector and multi-film optical cable. The remote centralized monitoring is realized by communicating with the local controller of the unit. Its network mode model for industrial Ethernet, communication system and implementation of the need for large-scale but photo voltaic (pv) grid power distribution network with single purpose of large number, wide distribution of the region, and the communication of capital concentration is much higher than power generation capacity of thermal power, hydro power, nuclear power or if based on Internet technology and network, not only can reduce the communication equipment of the implementation of the capital, can also provide follow-up self-healing control rising space.

Modeling of intelligent distribution network self-healing control state transition based on FSM

In order to realize effective prevention from faults, cut-off the fault quickly and power supply recovery from power loss load in intelligent distribution network, this paper proposed a state transition model of self-healing control for intelligent distribution network based on Finite State Machine (FSM). We divided the running states into normal state and fault state, added finite variables to FSM. determined the operation state transition control schemes of intelligent distribution network self-healing control. Considering distributed generation(DG), we established the state transition model of intelligent distribution network self-healing control system on Matlab/Stateflow platform and applied to simulation example. The results show that the proposed state transition scheme is feasible and effective.

HAZOP-LOPA-Based Corrosion Risk Identification and Control

It is analyzed to control the affection for dynamic affection of change in process parameters to the corrosion of equipment and pipes with the HAZOP, LOPA and corrosion self-healing control system, then HAZOP-LOPA–Based corrosion risk identification and control technology is proposed to improve the level of effective active control in high-risk corrosion in the petroleum–chemical process in this paper.

Data-Driven Abnormal Condition Identification and Self-Healing Control System for Fused Magnesium Furnace

In the smelting process of fused magnesium furnaces (FMFs), frequent changes in the raw material granule size and impurity constituent will cause the arc resistance between the lower end of the electrode and the surface of the molten pool to vary, and thus, the smelting currents fluctuate. Consequently, abnormal conditions, which can arise if the setpoints of electrode currents are not properly adjusted on time, will causethe performance to deteriorate or even the overall operation to stall. Through analysis of the characteristics of different operating conditions, this paper presents a data-driven abnormal condition identification and self-healing control system. The proposed system extracts the identification rules according to the current tracking error, as well as the rate and duration of the current fluctuations, and identifies the abnormal conditions based on rule-based reasoning. The self-healing control is developed using case-based reasoning to correct the current setpoints based on the identification results. The outputs of the control loop track the corrected setpoints, thereby forcing the process to recover from the abnormal conditions. The proposed method and the developed control system have been applied to a real FMF, and substantial improvement is achieved with many benefits provided to the factory. The implementation results show that occurrence of abnormal conditions has been reduced by more than 50%, and the product quality has been increased by more than 2%.

Development and Application of Smart Distribution Grid Self-Healing Control System

Self-healing is an important feature of smart distribution grid. Self-healing control for smart distribution grid covers risk prevention and operation optimization before accidents, in addition, it covers fault location, fault isolation and power restoration. The research of self-healing control theory, risk assessment, fault diagnosis and safety warning for smart distribution grid provides technical supports to help build a safe, reliable, efficient, high-quality, flexible and compliant smart distribution grid.

The Control and Analysis of Self-Healing Urban Power Grid

In this paper, the concept and system structure of the self-healing urban power grid (UPG) are presented. The proposed method has five operating states and four subcontrols, which are emergency control, restorative control, corrective control and preventive control. The entire self-healing UPG is controlled by the multiagent system (MAS). The agent system has three layers, each of which comprises several agents. This paper discusses the design and function of each agent, as well as the agents' structures and their communication methods. A practical test case based on the urban power grid in Jiangning County in China is employed to demonstrate the ability of the proposed agent-based system to perform self-healing functionality. Research findings indicate that the self-healing control system proposed in this paper can intelligently adjust the operating state to eliminate all the potential threats, and thus achieving the desired operation objectives.
