INFORMATION SECURITY AS THE BASIS OF INFORMATION ACTIVITY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE

Purpose: the article deals with the research of the content of information security in relation to the information activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Research methods: formal legal and systemic methods are used. Results: based on the analysis of legislation and science-based approaches to understanding the content of information security, existing (and possible) information threats in the country’s defence sphere, the content of information security in the Armed Forces activities is generalized. Based on the analysis of the norms of the Constitution of Ukraine, the principles that determine the information activity of the Armed Forces on information security are formulated. It is defined that information security in the country’s defence sphere is provided by properly adjusted and effective information activities of the Armed Forces in specific areas. Discussion: the dynamic nature of information threats and the search for means and ways of counteracting them in the sphere of activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine determine the need for further scientific research. It is defined that the main provisions of information activities on ensuring information security are enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine, the principles of which are detailed in the laws and by-laws of our state adjusting the procedure of creating normal conditions of functioning of military formations, detachments and units, establishing legal regimes of information, including sensitive information, preventing the dissemination of false information in the field of defence of the country, preventing destructive information influence on the personnel of units and population of Ukraine in the sphere of the Armed Forces functioning, cyberattack on departmental and interdepartmental information systems. It is summarized that information security in the Armed Forces activity is focused on the prevention of existing, possible (predicted) threats against the safe functioning of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and their sphere of responsibility and depends directly on the planning, implementation of information activities aimed at preventing the implementation of information threats into reality and clearly respecting the legislation during the implementation of certain types of information activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Security of the State and National Security. Main Research Positions and the Practice of the Polish Legislator

The author is of the opinion that the commonly accepted view about the identity, the concept, and the content of state security and national security in Poland is burdened with numerous flaws, which is confirmed by the legislative practice, planning, and the organizational activity of the state. The author poses a question whether mutual relationships between the concepts of state security and national security exist in the views of Polish theorists and in Polish legislation and, if they do, what they are. Of the methods of establishing the identity of state and national security and the mutual relationship between these terms, one of the ways to see the complexity of the issue is to refer to legislation. The author puts forward a hypothesis that both Polish law and the practical planning and organizational activities of public administration and other entities provide many arguments that these concepts are not identical, but there are strong axiological, epistemological, and ontological links between them. The author is convinced that determination of the domain of the concepts in question and the relationships between them will make it easier for public administration bodies to plan, organize, and carry out specific tasks in the field of security.

Lo impactante y lo local: criterios de noticiabilidad y fuentes de información predominantes en la producción de noticias de delito en dos canales abiertos de Córdoba

Entre ellos, la television mantiene una vigencia central que la coloca como principal productora y distribuidora de este tipo de noticias. Desde un enfoque cualitativo, a partir de la revision de antecedentes sobre la tematica y el procesamiento de entrevistas realizadas en dos de los tres canales abiertos de la provincia de Cordoba (Canal 10, de la Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, y Canal 12, propiedad del Grupo Clarin), el articulo analiza aspectos relacionados con contenidos de delito e inseguridad y los modos de produccion de dicha informacion. Especificamente, se ocupa de los criterios a los que los periodistas recurren para identificar la noticiabilidad de los acontecimientos delictivos y las fuentes que priorizan en sus coberturas. Para ello, se plantea una perspectiva comparativa de ambas senales, donde los eventos locales marcan la pauta informativa, algo que distingue particularmente a los canales cordobeses respecto a otros del interior con cabecera en Buenos Aires. La indagacion muestra similitudes y diferencias en el tratamiento de las noticias sobre delito en dos medios con estructuras de propiedad tambien disimiles. EnglishCommunication media are key players in shaping how we relate to the topic of crime. Among them, television stands center stage, being the main producer and distributor of news on this theme. Our article adopts a qualitative approach, reviewing previous work on the subject as well as interviews carried out at two of the three free-to-air channels available in the province of Cordoba (Channel 10, from the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, and Channel 12, owned by Grupo Clarin). In doing so, it analyzes crime and public security contents and the modes of production behind them. Specifically, this article focuses on the criteria employed by journalists when identifying the newsworthiness of criminal incidents and the sources they prioritize in their reporting. To this end, it adopts a comparative view of both free-to-air channels, in which local events guide everyday coverage, something that distinguishes these Cordoba-based channels from other provincial channels headquartered in Buenos Aires. Our review shows similarities and differences in the treatment of crime stories in the surveyed Cordoba-based channels, which also have dissimilar ownership structures. portuguesA midia e um dos principais atores na definicao das formas de vinculacao com a tematica do crime. De una abordagem qualitativa, a partir da revisao de antecedentes sobre a tematica e o processamento de entrevistas realizadas em dois dos tres canais abertos da provincia de Cordoba (Canal 10 –da Universidade Nacional de Cordoba– e Canal 12 –propriedade do Grupo Clarin–), o artigo analisa aspectos relacionados ao conteudo sobre crime e inseguranca, e os modos de producao de tais informacoes. Especificamente, trata dos criterios aos quais os jornalistas se voltam para identificar a notoriedade de eventos criminais e as fontes que priorizam sua cobertura. Para isso, e proposta uma perspectiva comparativa dos dois canais, onde eventos locais definem a diretriz informativa, um aspecto que distingue aos canais de Cordoba em relacao a outros das provincias argentinas com centro em Buenos Aires. O estudo mostra que existem semelhancas e diferencas no tratamento de noticias criminais em dois meios de comunicacao com estruturas proprietarias, tambem diferentes.

P-MEC: Polynomial Congruence-Based Multimedia Encryption Technique Over Cloud

In this multimedia era, the security of multimedia content over the Cloud becomes a crucial research area. There are several modes of communication available for transmitting the information over the Cloud from one place to another place around the globe. Such communication networks are open to all where anyone can access the data very easily. Therefore, the security of multimedia data over the Cloud becomes a major challenge. This study highlights better protection of multimedia content over Cloud in comparison to the existing approaches, where the information cannot be unwrapped in a reasonable time. The Strength of RSA, ElGamal, Diffie Hellman, and many more Cryptographic algorithms depend on the concept of congruence. As of now, the solution for linear and quadratic congruence had made its use limited, but this study had changed it by introducing the solution for Cubic and Polynomial congruence. The polynomial congruence concept has been used to encrypt the multimedia content. Based on the qualitative and quantitative experimental analysis, it can be concluded that the P-MEC model stands firm compared with the state-of-the-art models. The security analysis and experimental results display that the proposed scheme has strong robustness against statistical attack, vulnerability attack, and other comprehensive attacks.

Blockchain-based asymmetric group key agreement protocol for internet of vehicles

Data sharing and group communication are the main applications for Internet of Vehicles (IoV). IoV has some obvious characteristics, such as terminals resources are limited, sensitive information is easy to leak and the whole network is vulnerable to some attacks. Therefore, in the process of terminal communication for IoV, it is urgent to construct an efficient group key to encrypt the communication contents to protect the security of communication contents and user’s privacy. In this work, we propose a blockchain-based asymmetric group key agreement protocol for IoV (B-AGKA), in which blockchain anonymous authentication technology is adopted to achieve user’s privacy protection. And in this scheme, the calculation is distributed to each node in a balanced manner, reducing the calculation and communication overhead; for traceability and accountability, the blockchain logging techniques are adopted. In the whole process, we show that the proposed protocol is proven secure under the hardness assumption of decision bilinear Diffie–Hellman (DBDH) problem. The performance analysis shows that the proposed scheme is more efficient than existing works.

Security of aircraft infrastructure objects: theoretical aspects

The article determines that the basis for effective activity for the protection of critical infrastructure facilities is the formation of a system of legislative definition of criteria for attribution to the critical infrastructure of the state of the relevant facilities, including aviation. The basis of legislative and organizational activity in this sense is the implementation of scientific research aimed at the formation of scientific and organizational security of aviation objects. It is stated that beyond the scope of modern research in aviation security and in the whole of all critical infrastructure objects there remain: theoretical clarification of the essence and correlation of such theoretical and applied categories of different types of security with regard to critical infrastructure and aviation transport objects. The reasons and conditions for the formation of security threats to the entire aviation infrastructure of Ukraine have not been properly investigated. The necessity of development of theoretical and applied and legal problems of safety of the objects of aviation transport of Ukraine is determined not only by the intervention in the activity of civil aviation, but also by the whole complex of conditions of normal activity of structures and subjects of business activity of objects of aviation infrastructure. The purpose of the article is to create on the basis of a series of articles a theoretical basis for organizational and legal security of objects of aviation transport infrastructure. The purpose of the article was implemented in a systematic approach to the study of existing problems in the security sphere of aviation infrastructure. The use of a set of general and specific research methods made it possible to determine the factors and content of the causes and conditions of the formation of threats to the security of all aviation transport infrastructure in Ukraine. This approach made it possible to conclude that the content of security of aviation infrastructure and economic entities located in their territory can be viewed from several positions: First - as conditions in which there is a complex system where the action of external factors and internal factors does not lead to the emergence of threats and negative objective and subjective negative processes. Secondly, as a condition of critical infrastructure - aviation, at which the risk of harming people or property is reduced to an acceptable level. Thirdly - as a type of activity of authorized structural units for creation of normative conditions for functioning of critical infrastructure objects - aviation transport. Taking into account the analysis of the practice, legislative and departmental regulations and opinions of scientists, a differentiated classification of security threats to aviation infrastructure objects is given, with determination of their impact on each element of the infrastructure.

SPECIFIC NATURE AND PROSPECTS OF USING INTEGRAL METHODS OF ECONOMIC SECURITY ASSESSMENT FOR THE ARCTIC REGIONS OF RF

The research relevance is conditioned by the increased attention to the issues of content and assessment of the economic security in Russia over the last years. A large number of scientific researches devoted to this theme prove it. At that, the majority of researches address the issues of economic security at a national level. Few researches in the field of economic security analysis at a regional level commonly propose multi-purpose assessment methods that do not take into account the specific nature of development and economic activity of specific regions and territories. The paper is aimed at revealing the specific nature and prospects of using the integral methods of economic security assessment for the arctic regions of RF. The proprietary methodology of assessing the economic security for the arctic regions of RF is proposed in the paper and is based on comprehensive analysis of indicators of various units of economic security, such as: capacity of the region for sustainable development, sustainability of the financial system of the region, economy dependence on the import of the essential types of products, poverty rate, scientific potential, quality of life, demography, ecology, transport accessibility. The lead approach to building a model for the economic security assessment is an indicative method with subsequent mathematical processing of actual results of the generated system of indicators on the basis of comparison thereof with the threshold limit values. Key elements of the model were selected on the basis of analysis of a large number of domestic and foreign practical developments of the principal researchers in the area of economic security assessment. The results presented in the paper can be used on the one hand for ranging the arctic regions of RF by the integral composite indicator of economic security, and on the other hand for qualitative assessment of the economic security level and the extent of potential risks for sustainable operation and development of a certain territory. The represented methodological fundamentals can also be applied for further investigations in the field of building integral models and revealing bottlenecks in the system of economic security management of different level entities.

Social security of Ukraine: summary, problems and ways of ensuring

The essence and content of social security are revealed, the systematic problems and ways of providing social security of Ukraine in the conditions of globalization and European integration are investigated, the analysis of the generalities of factors of social security of Ukraine at the current stage of state development is made. It is substantiated that the social security of the state, in the narrow sense, is the degree (level) of protection of national interests of the population in the social sphere from internal and external threats, and social security of the state, in the broad sense, is a state of development of the state for which the state is able to protect from internal and external threats and to ensure a decent and quality social standard of living of the population, regardless of age, gender, income level, to promote the full development of human capital. It is determined that the social challenges of Ukraine's security have intensified, especially in the areas of population reproduction and labor potential, functioning of the social sphere and labor market, income and employment of the population. It is substantiated that these challenges lead to deterioration of working conditions and decrease of material well-being, depopulation and aging of the nation, spread of poverty and disintegration of financial position of citizens, decrease of social protection of the population, increase of dissatisfaction with the life and social policy of the authorities.It is proved that the state policy in the field of convergence of the social security system of Ukraine and the EU, in particular with regard to regulation of migration processes, should be aimed at achieving the goal of systematic development of human capital and implemented in the following areas: ensuring demographic security, modernization of the health care system, restoration of the quality system education, preservation of cultural values, becoming a competitive labor market, improving housing affordability, building social infrastructure, systemic social insurance population.

EUROPEAN SECURITY AND DEFENSE POLICY

Problem setting. Security issues are importantfor contemporary international relations research, since security has been and remains one of the most important aspects in the functioning of international relations. Ensuring security is seen as an important task for both a state and the international community in the broad sense of the term, in particular for the EU. In today’s context, the problem of information security of the individual, the state and the society is fundamentally relevant as it needs, primarily, a complex reflection, taking into account the realities of the present. In addition, continuous monitoring of the security situation in the information field, the ranking of threats by the degree of influence on national interests, the rational redistribution of forces and the means to neutralize threats are urgently needed.Recent research and publications analysis. Problems of European politics and defense are constantly in the center of attention of Western scientists, first of all Laura Chappell, David J. Galbreath, Jocelyn Mawdsley, Robert McCabe, Hugo Meijer, Deborah Sanders, Ian Speller, Marco Wyss, and others. In the Ukrainian literature, some solutions to this problem are found in Ya. Tymkiv’s manual, in the encyclopedic dictionary-directory «Modern Political Vocabulary», in the Glossary of the Encyclopedic Dictionary of Information Security, articles by Yu. Bytyak and I. Yakovyuk, M. Dmytrenko, E. Nikipelova,O. Poshedin, O. Sosnin and O. Dzioban, M. Trebin which the author of the paper researches and identifies previously unsolved parts of the general problem the article is devoted to.Paper object: to analyze the term «security», to identify the place of security in the European security and defense policy, to characterize the peculiarities of the problem of the Euro-Atlantic security space formation.Paper main body. In the article, based on the conceptualization of the security problem in the aspect of international political issues, the definitions of the security by domestic and foreign scientists are explored. Particular attention is paid to information security, which requires, first of all, a comprehensive understanding of the today’s realities. The evolution of the EU Common Security and Defense Policy, its current interpretation in the EU’s Global Foreign and Security Policy, has been traced. The main security priorities were identified, namely, defense, counter-terrorism, cybersecurity, energy and strategic communications. Special attention is drawn to the problem of creating the Euro-Atlantic security information space, i.e., the space of a dialogue between Ukraine and the NATO, which should accompany the necessary reforms in Ukraine in order to bring it closer to Euro-Atlantic standards.Conclusions of the research. Therefore, in the modern science of international relations there is no definition of security that would satisfy both domestic and foreign scientists. This is explained by the fact that certain components of the security content acquire a certain value or lose it, depending on the internal situation in the country and the international situation. The problem of information security which requires, first of all, a comprehensive understanding of the present realities is ofparticular importance in today’s context.The contours of the EU Common Security and Defense Policy began to be defined in the 1990s, and its current interpretation is reflected in the EU’s Global Foreign and Security Policy, 2016. Defense, counter-terrorism, cybersecurity, energy and strategic communication are the main security priorities. The issue of creating a Euro-Atlantic security space that is the space of a dialogue between Ukraine and the NATO, which should accompany the necessary reforms in Ukraine in order to bring it closer to Euro-Atlantic standards is of utmost importance.

Efficient and secure content dissemination architecture for content centric network using ECC-based public key infrastructure

Initially, Internet was designed with the goal of sharing resources. With the recent technological advancement and huge information need, Internet has gradually shifted from resource sharing mode to information sharing mode. To meet the demands of current Internet usage pattern, content centric network (CCN) is envisaged as a clean-slate Internet architecture. This paper proposes secure content dissemination architecture for CCN using elliptic curve cryptography based public key infrastructure (ECC-PKI). The proposed scheme restores the current business model of the Internet by decoupling the encrypted content from its access control specifications while maintaining the in-network content caching mechanism of the CCN. In the proposed security architecture, content will be securely communicated between each pair of entities of CCN using ECC-based protocols. While designing proposed protocols our main aim is to minimize the computation and communication cost and to increase the performance, efficiency and security. Finally, a formal security verification using well known AVISPA simulator and BAN logic concludes that the proposed scheme is secure against the existing relevant cryptographic attacks.

Named Data Networking for Efficient IoT-based Disaster Management in a Smart Campus

Disasters are uncertain occasions that can impose a drastic impact on human life and building infrastructures. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays a vital role in coping with such situations by enabling and integrating multiple technological resources to develop Disaster Management Systems (DMSs). In this context, a majority of the existing DMSs use networking architectures based upon the Internet Protocol (IP) focusing on location-dependent communications. However, IP-based communications face the limitations of inefficient bandwidth utilization, high processing, data security, and excessive memory intake. To address these issues, Named Data Networking (NDN) has emerged as a promising communication paradigm, which is based on the Information-Centric Networking (ICN) architecture. An NDN is among the self-organizing communication networks that reduces the complexity of networking systems in addition to provide content security. Given this, many NDN-based DMSs have been proposed. The problem with the existing NDN-based DMS is that they use a PULL-based mechanism that ultimately results in higher delay and more energy consumption. In order to cater for time-critical scenarios, emergence-driven network engineering communication and computation models are required. In this paper, a novel DMS is proposed, i.e., Named Data Networking Disaster Management (NDN-DM), where a producer forwards a fire alert message to neighbouring consumers. This makes the nodes converge according to the disaster situation in a more efficient and secure way. Furthermore, we consider a fire scenario in a university campus and mobile nodes in the campus collaborate with each other to manage the fire situation. The proposed framework has been mathematically modeled and formally proved using timed automata-based transition systems and a real-time model checker, respectively. Additionally, the evaluation of the proposed NDM-DM has been performed using NS2. The results prove that the proposed scheme has reduced the end-to-end delay up from 2 % to 10 % and minimized up to 20 % energy consumption, as energy improved from 3 % to 20 % compared with a state-of-the-art NDN-based DMS.

Securing Communication 2FA Using Post-Quantic Cryptosystem

Many financial institutions interact with their customers via short message services (SMS), which is today one of the fastest and most powerful means of communicating information around the world. This information can sometimes be an access code such as the unique password (OTP) for two-factor authentication (2FA) or banking information and personal identities. All this data is confidential, and it is a major disadvantage to send them since an SMS service does not provide data encryption during network transmission and on mobile. Recently, OTPs via SMS have suffered from strong attacks that intercept messages. In order to avoid attacks and offer effective content security to 2FA credentials sent via SMS, the authors propose an SMS encryption mechanism using a post quantic cryptosystem quasi-cyclic MDPC and an electronic signature of the OTPs. Finally, this article performs an implementation and a security analysis of the proposal.

Deep Reinforcement Learning and Permissioned Blockchain for Content Caching in Vehicular Edge Computing and Networks

Vehicular Edge Computing (VEC) is a promising paradigm to enable huge amount of data and multimedia content to be cached in proximity to vehicles. However, high mobility of vehicles and dynamic wireless channel condition make it challenge to design an optimal content caching policy. Further, with much sensitive personal information, vehicles may be not willing to caching their contents to an untrusted caching provider. Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) is an emerging technique to solve the problem with high-dimensional and time-varying features. Permission blockchain is able to establish a secure and decentralized peer-to-peer transaction environment. In this paper, we integrate DRL and permissioned blockchain into vehicular networks for intelligent and secure content caching. We first propose a blockchain empowered distributed content caching framework where vehicles perform content caching and base stations maintain the permissioned blockchain. Then, we exploit the advanced DRL approach to design an optimal content caching scheme with taking mobility into account. Finally, we propose a new block verifier selection method, Proof-of-Utility (PoU), to accelerate block verification process. Security analysis shows that our proposed blockchain empowered content caching can achieve security and privacy protection. Numerical results based on a real dataset from Uber indicate that the DRL-inspired content caching scheme significantly outperforms two benchmark policies.

Security Enhanced Content Sharing in Social IoT: A Directed Hypergraph-Based Learning Scheme

Security is a critical element to the existing Internet of Things (IoT) deployment, where any user may actively or passively attack the content sharing of others reusing the same channel. As most smart devices are carried by human, we may leverage their owners’ social trust to avoid being intercepted by untrusted users, which conforms to the Social Internet of Things (SIoT) paradigm. In this paper, we propose a secure content sharing (SCS) scheme to strike the trade-off between security and quality of experience (QoE) by exploring the social trust. Firstly, to dynamically extract the social trust, the random walk strategy is employed for prediction based on the proposed “User-Content-Social Group” graph which models users’ preference over time. Given the social trust value, we propose a hierarchical game model to decouple the optimization problem into two sub-problems: user pairing and channel selection. More specifically, the user pairing sub-problem is formulated as a matching sub-game with peer effect, and the embedded rotation-swap matching algorithm can accommodate the dynamics caused by mutual interference. The second sub-problem can be formulated as a secure channel selection sub-game with the directed hypergraph being game space, which is proved to be an exact potential game. Then, we design an uncoupled-user concurrent learning algorithm (UUCL) to search for the optimal pure Nash equilibrium, and thereby the global optimum of this sub-game is achieved. Finally, simulation results generated on realistic social dataset verify that our proposed scheme can notably enhance the security without sacrificing users’ QoE.

Chaos-Based Content Distribution Framework for Digital Rights Management System

Multimedia contents are digitally utilized these days. Thus, the development of an effective method to access the content is becoming the topmost priority of the entertainment industry to protect the digital content from unauthorized access. Digital rights management (DRM) systems are the technique that makes digital content accessible only to the legal rights holders. As the Internet of Things environment is used in the distribution and access of digital content, a secure and efficient content delivery mechanism is also required. Keeping the focus on these points, this article proposes a content distribution framework for DRM system using chaotic map. Formal security verification under the random oracle model, which uncovers the proposed protocol's capability to resist the critical attacks is given. Moreover, simulation study for security verification is performed using the broadly accepted “automated validation of Internet security protocols and applications,” which indicates that the protocol is safe. Moreover, the detailed comparative study with related protocols demonstrates that it provides better security and improves the computational and communication efficiency.

A Hybrid Modified Advanced Encryption Standard and Chaos Encryption Algorithm for Securing Compressed Multimedia Data

Multimedia data is being used more widely in the field of Internet communication technology. Over wireless networks, extensive use of multimedia applications can easily be intercepted. The widespread use of multimedia data makes media content security and protection increasingly urgent and necessary. In order to fully protect or maintain security and privacy of multimedia data, it must be secured through encryption before transmission. Multimedia encryption is the core enabling technology that provides confidentiality and end-to-end security preventing unauthorized access of the information. In this paper, an encryption algorithm is proposed to achieve the desired integrity. Compressed video frames usingH.264 with multi-view video coding MVC are encrypted using a hybrid algorithm based on modified advanced encryption standard AES with 1D, and 2D chaotic maps. The encryption process replaces add round key and S-box operations of AES encryption by XOR operation and chaotic map generators on different blocks of input data frames. The results of our simulation using MATLAB show that the proposed algorithm is suitable for multimedia encryption applications.

Trust Based Secure Content Delivery in Vehicular Networks: A Bargaining Game Theoretical Approach

Vehicular networks expect to promote the road safety for moving vehicles and improve the driving experience of drivers. In the vehicular networks, secure content delivery becomes significant yet very challenging to protect the vehicles from various threats (i.e., outside attacks and inside attacks). To this end, this paper proposes a security-aware content delivery scheme in vehicular networks when the vehicles request contents from roadside units (RSUs). Specifically, we first establish a novel trust evaluation scheme for both the vehicles and RSUs by exploiting other vehicles to monitor the actions during the process of content delivery. Then, a bargaining game based pricing model is proposed to motivate the vehicles and RSUs to act more positively in the content delivery in vehicular networks. Next, to achieve the secure content delivery and optimize the players' utilities, we apply the backward induction method to analyze the proposed model in a two-round game and an M-round game, respectively. Finally, simulation results are provided to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed scheme by comparing with several conventional schemes.

Information Hiding Technology in Power System Network Security

Since the beginning of the 21st century, with the popularization and application of electronic information technology in the power system, the power system information network security has begun to attract the attention of all walks of life, especially the power enterprises. To ensure the safety of electric power information network is not only the need to ensure the safety of industrial production and residents’ daily electricity consumption, but also the internal demand to ensure the stability, development and prosperity of national economy. In the electric power industry, the information security of the electric power system is directly related to the production, operation, management and operation of the electric power enterprises. When these information data are illegally violated, it will bring adverse effects to the electric power enterprises. It can be seen from this paper that the network security of the telecommunications industry accounts for a large proportion of 18.7%. Therefore, information security is the important protection content of power enterprise network security. The emergence of information hiding technology, a good realization of the power network information security protection, this paper will be information hiding technology as the focus of research, analysis of its application in the power network security.

Hiding clinical information in medical images: an enhanced encrypted reversible data hiding algorithm grounded on hierarchical absolute moment block truncation coding

Reversible data hiding in the encrypted domain has attracted a lot of consideration because of the necessity for content security and protection assurance. Majority of the prior reversible data hiding algorithms are designed for absolute moment block truncation coding (AMBTC) compressed images. In this paper, an enhanced encrypted reversible data hiding algorithm grounded on hierarchical AMBTC has been proposed. In the proposed algorithm, high mean table, low mean table and bitmap sequence table obtained through hierarchical AMBTC are first encrypted using homomorphic cryptosystem and then a secret ternary data is embedded in each grey pixel of high mean table, low mean table and bitmap sequence table (except zero (0) value) without any underflow or overflow issue. Exhaustive experiments have been performed on natural and medical test images which demonstrates the superiority of the proposed algorithm over the existing reversible data hiding algorithms. Experimental study reveals that the proposed algorithm has more payload with superior image quality than the existing algorithms.
