The role and competence of physical education teachers in the processes of selection and psychological guidance in preparatory schools


 The aim of the study: To know the role of the competence of a professor of physical education and sports in the selection process, to know the role of the competence of a professor of physical education and sports in the process of psychological guidance.Research hypotheses for the competence of a professor of physical education, a role in the selection process in middle school,The proficiency of a professor of physical education and sports has a role in the process of psychological guidance in middle school.The study sample: 30 physical education teachers were chosen randomly, and the curriculum followed: the descriptive approach was chosen to suit the nature of the study.The research tool used: the questionnaire tool. Teaching in general and teaching physical and sports adoption, especially in Iraq, are among the professions that are therefore of great importance in preparing future generations, which take upon themselves the task of developing and building society and supporting development, which are considered the most important goals of developing countries which they are trying to achieve, whatever they are For teaching to be weak in terms of goals and tasks, the goal of preparing the student scientifically, educationally, ethically, culturally, mathematically and socially will remain the primary goal among those goals.The theoretical background and previous studies are the first starting point for researchers at the beginning of his study, in which researchers collect information and theory, which is therefore related to the subject of the study and helps explain the results obtained, as well as inferring them.In this theoretical background, we dealt with the competence of the teachers of physical education, as well as the selection and psychological guidance process, considering the physical education teacher as one of the basic elements in all educational stages. It is also considered the key to the success of any academic program. The processes of orientation and psychological selection, especially in the middle school.The teaching competencies of PE teachers aim at its core to develop their performance in teaching and learning, and are mainly based on competencies and skills, which are limited to the profession of the teacher.
 

Manajemen Bimbingan Dan Konseling Di Sekolah

Guidance and counseling teachers are guidance and counseling officers in schools who provide services related to student development and also making them independent. The implementation of guidance and counseling programs needs to be systematic and structured. Guidance and counseling management is needed to achieve the goals that have been created, because it can place the roles of guidance and counseling teachers in fulfilling their obligations to serve counselee, in this case students. Guidance and counseling management includes planning, organizing, actuating or implementation and also controlling and monitoring or what is called supervision, which is the core of management in guidance and counseling in schools. The role of guidance and counseling teachers in guidance and counseling management is very important, sothe expertise of guidance and counseling personnel is needed to carry out good management. Good management carried out by good personnel can facilitate achieving the desired goals.

POINT OF VIEW MATEMATIKAWAN TERHADAP PERANAN TENAGA PENDIDIK BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DI SEKOLAH

Education is an aspect that has an important role which is carried out consciously by an individual with the aim of improving the individual's quality and abilities in learning. In this case, the way to improve students' quality and abilities in learning is done through guidance and counseling both individually and in groups. Apart from that, in order to improve students' disciplinary character, the role of guidance and counseling teachers in schools is needed. However, from another perspective, it turns out that there are still many who doubt the existence of guidance and counseling teachers, one of which is mathematics teachers. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the importance of the role of guidance and counseling teachers and also the perspective of mathematicians regarding the performance of guidance and counseling teachers in schools. The method used in writing this scientific article is a literature view from books, journals, theses and scientific articles by citing some information related to the role of guidance and counseling teachers and the perspective of mathematics teachers on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers.

Implementasi Manajemen Bimbingan Konseling Kelompok di SMA Negeri 1 Cikalong

The implementation of guidance and counseling in educational institutions requires well-systemized management of guidance and counseling by the parties providing guidance and counseling in schools. This research aims to determine the implementation of guidance group management, its implementation, and the need for the availability of guidance group management. This research used a qualitative approach and was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Cikalong. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation, while data analysis uses data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that efforts to implement implementation at SMA Negeri 1 Cikalong emphasize active student participation in the group counseling guidance process. The program for implementing group counseling guidance at SMA Negeri 1 Cikalong has a mature framework to ensure success and relevance in providing group counseling guidance services. One of the important elements in this program is the implementation of assessments and the use of questionnaires as evaluation instruments. By involving students directly, this program creates an environment that supports the exchange of experiences and ideas between peers.

Manajemen Evaluasi Keberhasilan Pelaksanaan Bimbingan Belajar di SMAN 1 Parigi

This research aims to describe the evaluation management of the success of implementing tutoring at SMAN 1 Parigi by focusing on the role of guidance and counseling teachers in supporting academic achievement and student development. The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that the management of evaluating the success of implementing tutoring at SMAN 1 Parigi is carried out by subject teachers and homeroom teachers. Tutoring is provided with an academic focus, with an emphasis on effective time management and appropriate study methods. In terms of managing the evaluation of the success of tutoring, guidance and counseling teachers rely on student report cards from UTS/UAS, as well as certificates from extracurricular activities. The main obstacle faced is students' low learning motivation, which is influenced by environmental factors, peers, lack of family support, and less interesting learning methods. Counseling teachers act as motivators, good listeners, and givers of advice to overcome student problems. Even though guidance and counseling teachers try to implement positive discipline, physical punishment has been replaced by memorizing surahs, lesson materials, or reciting prayers. However, challenges arise when only a small percentage of students show positive changes, while others continue to face behavioral and academic problems. This is related to the student's character and lack of family support. This research provides in-depth insight into the management of guidance and counseling in high schools, especially at SMAN 1 Parigi, and highlights the critical role of guidance and counseling teachers in helping students achieve academic achievement and overcome social challenges.

Systematic Literature Review: Penerapan Layanan Konseling Kelompok Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) pada Peserta Didik di Sekolah Menengah

The era of disruption due to the pandemic has caused a decline in the mental condition of students, especially in secondary schools. Efforts to overcome this problem include implementing guidance and counseling services in schools, one of which is group counseling. The study aims to determine how the application of group counseling services with a Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) approach to students in secondary school (adolescents) which includes the understanding of SFBT group counseling, the scope of problems overcome, the procedure for implementing and the success of SFBT group counseling as an alternative to counseling that is considered to meet the needs of generation Z students. Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data collection using documentation techniques. The amount of literature studied after data selection amounted to 21 literatures. The data analysis used is content analysis. The results revealed that the application of SFBT group counseling is a short therapeutic focusing on solutions because it can be done with 4 to 8 sessions with a duration of 40 to 70 minutes and the counseling process does not well on problems but focuses on awareness and the ability of counsellors to solve problems. SFBT group counseling has been proven effective in various problems as well as the development of students in secondary schools covering the fields of Guidance Counseling services, namely personal, social, academic and career.

Manajemen Need Assesment di SMP Negeri 3 Langkaplancar

This study aims to describe how the management need assessment at SMPN 3 Langkaplancar. In this study, the method used was a qualitative approach by making observations and interviews. The research subject in this study is BK Teacher who is responsible for managing guidance and counseling programs in schools. The results showed that Need Assessment Management was carried out, one of which was for the development of students' potential at SMPN 3 Langkaplancar. Various types of assessments carried out include assessment of test techniques such as conducting aptitude tests, interest tests, and achievement tests. And non-test technical assessments are carried out with various types of assessments such as DCM (Problem Checklist), AUM (General Problem Disclosure Tool), ITP (Developmental Task Inventory), ATP (Developmental Task Application), AKPD (Assessment of Student Needs). BK teachers process data to compile a program to provide services that are in accordance with student needs. BK teachers at SMPN 3 Langkaplancar said that when there are students with low assessment results, they will be given services that are in accordance with their needs, on the other hand, if students with high assessment results, BK teachers look for ways so that students can remain consistent.

Manajemen Konflik Bimbingan Konseling Kelompok pada Siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Parigi

The background to this research begins with the many interpersonal conflicts that occur in the school environment and the role of guidance and counseling teachers in handling interpersonal conflicts. The results of the preliminary study at SMPN 1 PARIGI show that there are interpersonal conflicts and they are handled by guidance and counseling teachers. The purpose of this research is to find out how conflict management is carried out in group counseling for students at SMP Negeri 1 Parigi. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. The subjects in this research were people who had direct contact with the implementation of guidance and counseling, namely school principals, guidance and counseling teachers, and homeroom teachers. After data analysis, the research results showed that the counseling services currently used by BK teachers at SMP Negeri 1 PARIGI in handling interpersonal disputes among students are information services, group guidance, data collection, calling parents, mediation and consultation services. service. The types of support services and activities used by guidance and counseling teachers are carried out in order to prevent and resolve interpersonal conflicts between students.

Arah dan Strategi Pembinaan Akhlak Santri di Pondok Pesantren Al Yasini Pasuruan

Abstract
 The direction and strategy of moral development must continue to be carried out and developed in order to prepare an excellent and civilized generation for the future. Therefore, in this regard, the researcher conducted a study on "The Direction and Strategies of Moral Development for Students (Santri) at Al Yasini Islamic Boarding School in Pasuruan." This research aims to describe the direction and strategies for moral development of students (Santri) at Al Yasini Islamic Boarding School in Pasuruan. This study used a qualitative approach with the natural environment as the direct source of data. The data collection procedures included observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher used descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques for analysis.
 The results of this study indicate that the direction of moral development for students (Santri) is aimed at implementing Islamic teachings, shaping the personality of students, and equipping them to live in society. Meanwhile, the strategies for moral development of Santri are carried out through the Islamic boarding school curriculum, advice and guidance (mauidah hasanah), role modeling (uswatun hasanah), and the habituation of an Islamic way of life. The implications of this research include changes in the behavior of Santri, a more Islamic environment within the boarding school, and an improved public perception of the boarding school.

Factors Affecting Student Drop Out Behavior: A Systematic Review

Factors affecting student dropout behavior have been investigated overtime. A lot of factors came out to be affecting this prevalent concern in schools. However, in this study, a systematic review of peer-reviewed, empirical literature and studies published between 2015- 2023 was conducted to identify the common factors affecting student dropout behavior and interventions implemented to minimize dropout rates. This review specifically tackles two key issues: First, what are the common factors affecting student dropout behavior? Second, what are the common initiatives and or interventions in reducing student dropouts? A total of 12 studies were included in the review which passed the PRISMA diagram guidelines, Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) checklist, and were organized using a literature matrix. Results showed that family, school, school/teacher, lack of guidance and counseling, social, individual, and socioeconomic factors were the common factors influencing student dropout behavior. Additionally, it showed that remedial programs addressing lack of interest, support and resources, improving the school's guidance program, offering mechanisms for support to counteract the impact of poverty, transportation and counseling services, increased funding for disadvantaged students, raising awareness of the consequences of pre-marital sex, enforcing school dropout policies, integrating sex education, and guaranteeing adequate resource availability were common interventions implemented to address these prevalent factors. The findings emphasized the importance of tailored and contextualized interventions in addressing the specific factors. Further research is needed to identify interventions that tailor-fit each factor to structure a more efficient and effective program to address issues related to student dropouts.

SOSIALISASI PENANGGULANGAN BULLYING BERBASIS TEAM BUILDING MENGGUNAKAN PSIKOEDUKASI DI SMK BINA SRIWIJAYA INDONESIA PALEMBANG

Bullying cases in Indonesia occupy the top ranking. Bullying behavior often occurs when someone has shortcomings, both physically and mentally. The impact of bullying on students is in the form of decreased appetite, headaches, embarrassment, and feeling afraid to socialize in social environments. Increasing students' understanding regarding bullying behavior can reduce bullying cases. Bullying can start from uncontrolled levels of aggressive behavior during childhood. However, this can be prevented by increasing supervision of negative associations from children and friends, starting from modeling good things, filtering out children's friends who have a positive effect. The aim of this intervention is to provide students with understanding and knowledge regarding bullying, its types, etc. Bullying affects both boys and girls. The method based on this intervention consists of 4 stages, namely needs assessment for the Counseling Guidance teacher, distribution of bullying questionnaires to students, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with students, provision of materials and games in team building. The series of activities were attended by 40 students consisting of 20 men and 20 women from several representatives of departments at Bina Sriwijaya Indonesia Palembang Vocational School. The results of the intervention activities that have been implemented are that students feel openness in terms of both thoughts and feelings regarding bullying behavior. The service activities at Bina Sriwijaya Indonesia Palembang Vocational School have had a very good impact on the entire school community, especially students, subject teachers, guidance and counseling teachers and all staff and equipment at the school. The Principal welcomed and looked forward to further positive activities at Bina Sriwijaya Indonesia Palembang Vocational School. From the results of a questionnaire conducted on community service participants, 87.5% of students strongly agreed with socialization activities to overcome bullying and 12.5% ​​agreed.

PERFORMANCE OF GUIDANCE COUNSELING TEACHERS ACCORDING TO STUDENT PERCEPTIONS AT SMPN 19 MEDAN

<p>This research aims to find out and analyze how description of the performance of guidance and counseling teachers according to student perceptions at SMPN 19 Medan Academic Year 2022/2023. This research uses an approach The research is descriptive qualitative. Number of sample members in this study namely, as many as 10 grade 8 students from SMP Negeri 19 Medan. Data collection can be done directly by the research subjects with observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions while techniques validity of using data triangulation. Based on research conducted by researchers, it is known that teacher performance counseling guidance according to students' perceptions at SMP Negeri 19 Medan, namely BK teachers in providing services are very helpful in overcoming student problems, the student can ask for help from the guidance and counseling teacher in overcome the problems experienced by these students. Then the guidance and counseling teacher in its performance it provides real implementation in everyday life. The results of this research show that the performance of guidance and counseling teachers in junior high schools Negeri 19 Medan has been said to be quite good at being responsible carry out their duties, their performance becomes a role model, deeply creative providing services, implementing attractive services, and their performance optimally so that student problems can be resolved well through guidance the counseling.</p>

Investigating the Effect of a Group Psychoeducation Program on Test Anxiety: Implementation of the Balance Model within the Context of Positive Psychotherapy

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of a Test Anxiety Group Psychoeducation Program based on the Balance Model within the context of Positive Psychotherapy on the test anxiety scores of high school students experiencing test anxiety. The experimental group consisted of 14 students, 8 females and 6 males, attending the 11th grade in a state high school in Ankara/Türkiye, who were identified by the school guidance service as experiencing test anxiety. The students in the psychoeducation group were assigned using the purposive sampling method, a non-random sampling technique and a subset of purposeful sampling. The Test Anxiety Group Psychoeducation Program was based on the Balance Model within the context of Positive Psychotherapy and consisted of 6 sessions lasting 90 minutes each, utilizing methods mainly from positive psychotherapy, drama techniques, and stories. A Test Anxiety Inventory comprising 20 items was administered to the participants. The subscale scores of Emotionality and Worry, as well as Overall Anxiety Score were utilized. A single-group, pre-test post-test experimental design was used in the research. The outcomes showed that after participating in the Test Anxiety Group Psychoeducation Program, the experimental group’s test anxiety scores significantly decreased.

GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING MANAGEMENT: A SCIENTIFIC APPROACH TO IMPROVING STUDENTS' MENTAL HEALTH

The objective of this research is to explore the management of guidance and counseling as a scientific approach to enhancing students' mental health. The method employed in this study is qualitative research, specifically using a case study design. The choice of a case study is justified as it allows the researcher to gain in-depth insights into the context, processes, and complexities of the phenomenon under investigation. The findings of this research illustrate that the role of guidance and counseling (BK) teachers in state high schools in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, in safeguarding students' mental health is not merely reactive but also proactive. BK teachers apply a scientific approach involving observation and interviews to understand the holistic needs and challenges faced by students. Additionally, they utilize a variety of counseling techniques, including individual counseling, group counseling, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and art and play therapy, to provide tailored support based on individual student needs.

Pendidikan Pesantren di Zaman Teknologi antara Tradisi dan Modernitas

Islamic boarding schools, as traditional Islamic educational institutions, have become an integral part of the history of education in Indonesia. However, with the emergence of modern technology, Islamic boarding schools are faced with new challenges that require adaptation to current developments. This article explores the dynamics of Islamic boarding school education in facing the technological era, exploring how these institutions try to maintain traditional values while still taking advantage of technological advances. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and participant observation at several leading Islamic boarding schools. The findings show that Islamic boarding schools face a dilemma between preserving traditions and responding to the demands of the times. Several Islamic boarding schools have succeeded in integrating technology into their curriculum without sacrificing fundamental Islamic values. However, challenges in managing the impacts of modernity are also visible, including the potential for changes in social and spiritual values among santri. This article provides insight into Islamic boarding schools' efforts to bridge the gap between tradition and modernity. The practical and strategic implications of this research can provide guidance for Islamic boarding schools and other stakeholders in developing education that is relevant to the times without losing the essence of Islamic boarding school education which has become a characteristic of educational culture in Indonesia.

PROBLEMATIKA DALAM IMPLEMENTASI LAYANAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DI SEKOLAH

Education to carry out guidance and counseling in schools is an element related to services in schools. The coordinator or implementer is the supervising teacher and the person who gives advice. Consultation is a method of support provided to parties consulted during meetings so that the consultation process has the ability to see and find problem points and solutions to problems. In the process of advising or supporting counselees, counselees systematically express their problems, have the ability to accept themselves according to their potential, and help solve problems with their potential. In implementing counseling guidance services, many students do not clearly understand the duties, functions and role of counseling guidance. Elements that are proven to be in accordance with existing practices in the field of guidance and counseling can be used as a forum for advising and motivating problems in order to find solutions that suit one's abilities. PENGEMBANGAN MODUL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF EFFICACY SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 5 CIMAHI

This article aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the module to This article aims to develop a module to improve the self-efficacy of class VII students of SMPN 5 Cimahi. The subjects in this study were 26 students of class VII and 3 validators to test the feasibility of the module. This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) method by going through 9 stages. The data analysis used is a feasibility test to determine the feasibility of the module that will be used to improve student self-efficacy and the t-test test used to determine the effectiveness of the module to increase self-efficacy. Based on the results of the feasibility test, it was stated that the module was in the "very feasible" category to be used as a medium for implementing guidance and counseling services with a score of 94.6% from material experts, 96.6% from media experts, and 82.3% from practitioners ( guidance and counseling teacher). In addition, the results of the feasibility test limited to students also obtained a score of 79.4% and the broad feasibility test with a score of 87%. Based on these results, the module can be used as a medium for implementing guidance and counseling services in schools. Looking at the results of the module effectiveness test to increase self-efficacy, it also has a significant result of 0.00 <0.05, which means that through the media module, the self-efficacy of class VII students can increase.

Exploring the Role of Facilities in Guidance and Counseling Services in Schools: A Comprehensive Review

This paper explores the critical importance of guidance and counseling facilities in schools for optimal service delivery. With schools often overlooking the necessity of these facilities, it is imperative to shed light on the consequential deficiency in the delivery of such services, negatively impacting the academic trajectory and life skills development of students. The literature review methodology employed in this study delves into the conceptualization of guidance and counseling, the essential resources required, and the significant role of school administrators and BK (guidance and counseling) teachers in ensuring these facilities are available. The findings reveal the paramount importance of data collection instruments, data storage devices, service delivery tools, and BK room equipment for effective guidance and counseling. Furthermore, this study underscores the legislative mandates calling for the provision of these resources. Ultimately, this paper argues that optimal facilities, strategic planning, and collaboration between all school personnel are key to the successful implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools. The insights derived from this research are beneficial for school administrators, BK teachers, and policymakers, contributing to the enhancement of educational outcomes and the overall student experience.

Развитие профориентационной работы в условиях цифровизации

The problem of choosing a profession is relevant at this moment, since modern young people often have little idea what profession suits them and who they want to work with. It is thanks to digitalization that career guidance has become more accessible to schoolchildren. Previously, career guidance in schools was conditional: students were introduced to professions only at the theoretical level. With the advent of various digital platforms and the Internet, career guidance has become real for any student, and schools and universities often resort to such gadgets. Thanks to modern services, students can study in detail the aspects of certain professions and make a choice regarding their future.
