In constitution Number 20 of 2003 year Chapter 2 Article 3 talking about the national education system said that "national education aims to develop the ability and form the character and civilization nation that dignity in order to educate life of the nation, aiming to develop the potential of students become human beings who faithful and pious to God Almighty, noble, healthy, erudite, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizen. The values of character education should be instilled in children since early age. This is duty of both parents to educate their children to have good behaviors and habits. Whether at home, at school or in the society circle. The comic book entitled Si Toyeb by Husni Assaerozi. This research aims to trace the characters education in the comic Si Toyeb which is a comic that tells about the portrait of santri life in Islamic boarding school. This written is a research that seeks to inspect the values of character education using library research methods. Data from the results of this research can be concluded that comic Si Toyeb by Husni Assaerozi there are 9 from 18 characters education values according national education ministry.

Peningkatan Motivasi Berprestasi Bagi Santri Melalui Metode Peer Teaching di Pondok Pesantren Ar-Rohmah Grobogan

Learning motivation has a position that is quite urgent in supporting the success of the learning process. In general, the problems faced by students who study in two educational institutions such as the world and pesantren, in the case raised in the community service, are low motivation to learn and low time management. Learning activities using the Peer Teaching method turned out to make a positive contribution to improving achievement motivation among students of the Ar-Rohmah Grobogan Islamic Boarding School. Education that involves peers as supervisors and supervisors can also create a conducive and pleasant learning environment. However it is not without challenges at all. Arabic Language Learning Strategy for Elementary School Graduates in Pondok Pesantren Yusuf Abdussatar Kediri Lobar West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

This article discusses the Arabic language learning strategy for elementary school graduates at Pondok Pesantren Yusuf Abdussatar, Kediri Lobar, West Nusa Tenggara. The background of this research is based on the importance of mastering Arabic as a means of communication and understanding religious texts in Islamic boarding schools. However, elementary school graduates who enter pesantren often have limitations in Arabic language skills. Therefore, effective learning strategies are needed to facilitate their understanding. This article examines the various methods used, ranging from the communicative approach, context-based learning, to the use of interactive media and a supportive learning environment. This research uses qualitative methods with observation, interview and document analysis techniques. The results show that the applied learning strategies succeeded in improving students' learning motivation and their Arabic language skills, especially through the combination of theory and hands-on practice. In addition, the active involvement of teachers and the support of an intensive boarding school environment play an important role in the success of the learning process. This article recommends further development on the integration of technology in Arabic language learning to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning in Islamic boarding schools.

Awareness Ayah atas Perkembangan Agama Anak 5-6 Tahun di Kalangan Nelayan Pulau Jinato Selayar

This study aims to understand the form of father's attention, inhibiting and supporting factors, and the impact of father's awareness on children's religious development. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Primary data was obtained from interviews with fishermen's fathers, while secondary data came from village profiles, journals, and related documents. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, coding, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed variations in the form of fatherly attention. There are fathers who pay great attention to the development of children's religion, but there are also those who leave it completely to the mother or teacher. Factors that inhibit father's consciousness include a lack of time and religious knowledge, while the supporting factors are the role of teachers and the existence of Islamic boarding schools. The impact of the father's lack of awareness is the lack of religious stimulation in the child. This study concludes the importance of education for fisherman fathers about the importance of providing religious education to early childhood. The implication of this research is the need for educational programs for educators and further research on the introduction of monotheism in early childhood. This research also provides a comprehensive overview of the situation on the ground and provides recommendations to improve the quality of religious education for children on Jinato Island

Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Powtoon pada Materi Sel Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Pesantren Guppi Samata

This research covers the application of PowToon learning media to improve student learning outcomes in Cell material. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the use of PowToon learning media on the learning outcomes of students in the material of Cell XI MA MA Guppi Samata Islamic Boarding School. This study included a pseudo-experiment using a non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study is all students of class XI MA Guppi Samata Islamic Boarding School consisting of 2 classes. The sampling technique in this study is by using the purposive sampling method. The research instrument is in the form of a learning outcome test consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that students who were taught using PowToon learning media had an average learning outcome of 87.36, while students who were taught using Conventional learning media (Biology Package books) had an average learning outcome of 71.3. The results of inferential statistical analysis obtained a sign value for learning outcomes of 0.000, this value shows that sign < α = 0.000 < 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the application of PowToon learning media has an effect on the learning outcomes of students in the Class XI Cell material of Madrasah Aliyah Guppi Samata Islamic Boarding School.

PUBLIC SPEAKING ANXIETY DURING ORAL PRESENTATION: FACTORS AFFECTING AND HOW STUDENTS OVERCOME IT

The main focus in this research is to investigate the factors affecting public speaking anxiety among students during oral presentation and to explore students’ strategies to overcome public speaking anxiety. The participants in this this case study research are 2nd grade of senior high school students at Daruttaqwien Islamic Boarding School. This research utilizes observation and interview to explore more deeply about factors causing public speaking anxiety and students’ strategies to overcome it during oral presentation. The results of this research found that the students experienced various factors affecting public speaking anxiety such as lack of confidence, language factor, grammar factor, pronunciation factor, and peer factor. Meanwhile, the students’ strategies in overcoming public speaking anxiety were think positively, preparation, practice, and deal with audience. Hopefully, the results of this study can be helpful as a reference for students and teachers in order to aware about public speaking anxiety, so the approach for overcoming public speaking anxiety can be found simultaneously.

Motivational Factors Contributing to Students’ Participation in The English Learning Programs: A Study at MTs. Putri Nurul Haramain Islamic Boarding School Narmada

This research aims to find out motivational factors contributing the students’ participation in the English learning programs at MTs Putri Nurul Haramain Islamic Boarding School Narmada. This is a case study research using descriptive qualitative design. The participants of this research were 10 students at Cambridge class of MTs Putri Nurul Haramain Narmada. The instruments were observation, and interview. The data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results show that there are five factors motivated the students in learning English at Learning English Programs which are teachers, activities and material, relevance, feedback, and classroom environment. In addition, the contribution of programs to the students’ motivation are have different perception on the students, Madani Super Camp is has a good contribution on the students’ perception, English Day is has good contribution on the students’ motivation and learning English in the classroom is not good has contribution on the students’ motivation in learning English at English Learning Programs.

Postsecondary pathways and graduate earnings: does transfer make cents?

ABSTRACT Post-secondary education (PSE) experienced explosive growth and diversification over the past century, affording students a range of increasingly complex pathways that they can travel to acquire a credential. In various jurisdictions, governments have made significant investments to facilitate student uptake of unconventional transfer pathways that involve stops at multiple institutions. But, there has been limited effort to understand the impact of travelling these unconventional pathways on graduate labour market outcomes. Moreover, existing studies across many jurisdictions typically lack access to detailed measures of academic performance, demographics, and other pertinent controls that could explain the relationship between PSE pathway uptake and labour market outcomes. Through this study we model this relationship by drawing on a large custom linkage between student records from the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and three large administrative datasets housed in Statistics Canada’s Education and Labour Market Longitudinal Linkage Platform (ELMLP). This linkage offers census-level coverage of the population of interest and allows us to longitudinally track students from their Grade 9 year at the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), into and through Ontario PSE, and then as they enter the labour market. Our analyses unearth a series of pathway-based earnings disparities that prove robust to available controls. We elaborate on the implications of these findings for policymakers and draw attention to their relevance for scholars interested in school-to-work transitions in Canada and abroad.

Problematika Pesantren dan Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

Islamic boarding schools and educational institutions play an important role in maintaining and passing on Islamic religious values, culture, and traditional values. They also play an important role in shaping the character, morals and spirituality of society. However, they face many challenges in the complex modern world. This research investigates the problems faced by Pesantren and Islamic education institutions in Indonesia. It does so by using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. The study shows that Pesantren greatly help overcome poverty, strengthen brotherhood, lower unemployment rates, and combat ignorance. However, they also face many challenges, such as the dynamics of modernization and globalization that often conflict with their traditional values, limited resources and infrastructure, and the difficulty of integrating modern education curriculum with traditional religious education. Pesantren have a strategic position to address social issues, but they face problems such as limited resources and curriculum integration. Curriculum improvements and enhanced educational methodologies are needed to achieve this. Pesantren should increase general subjects, strengthen research activities, improve soft skills, and cooperate with other educational institutions.

Penerapan Pendidikan Akhlak Santriwati dalam Kitab Akhlak lil Banat: Studi Pondok Pesantren Salaf Al-Mardliyah Tambak Beras Jombang

Moral education is a very important thing to do, this is based on the phenomenon that occurs in the era of society 5.0 which is very fast in anything. Character education can be said to be successful if it can be applied and carried out in everyday life, this is the result of learning formed slowly through knowledge and then carried out. The character education that will be studied by the researcher is moral education resulting from teaching and examples of a book of morals lil banat which is one of the bases in learning carried out at the Al Mardliyyah Islamic boarding school. This study aims to examine the application of moral education of female students based on the Book of Akhlakul Lil Banat at the Al-Mardliyah Islamic Boarding School, Tambakberas, Jombang. The research method used is the analytical descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of moral education for female students at the Al-Mardliyah Tambakberas Jombang Islamic Boarding School is carried out systematically and in a planned manner through direct teaching from the Akhlakul Lil Banat book delivered by the kyai and ustadzah with various relevant learning methods. The implication of this study is the importance of developing a more integrated and contextual curriculum for female students' moral education in accordance with the development of the times.

Sekolah Rasa Pesantren: Implementasi Kurikulum Integratif di Aya Sophia Islamic School

This article discusses the implementation of integrative curriculum management at Aya Sophia Islamic School, which combines the National Education Curriculum and the Madrasah Diniyah Curriculum. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and literature study. The results showed that this curriculum integration creates a holistic learning environment, where students not only achieve good academic performance but also experience character and moral strengthening through in-depth religious teaching. Parents report high satisfaction with their children's academic and attitudinal progress, making Aya Sophia Islamic School an attractive option for parents seeking quality education. The theoretical, practical and managerial implications of this study point to the need for more support in the development of an integrative curriculum as well as continuous training for teachers. This article concludes that Aya Sophia Islamic School deserves to be a model for other educational institutions in Indonesia, with its ‘school-flavoured boarding school’ approach that is effective in shaping a smart and noble generation.

Developing a Scale Measuring Comprehensive Sex Education Attitudes in K-12 Schools (CSEA-K12)

ABSTRACT Comprehensive sex education (CSE) is linked to several favorable health outcomes yet is consistently underfunded and under-implemented. This is likely due to the perceived controversy of CSE, but research indicates that CSE in the K-12 system is widely supported in most areas of the U.S. Legislators, school board members, and funding agencies need a more thorough and accurate understanding of their communities’ attitudes toward CSE. An attitudinal scale for the general adult population could help generate research that would give these stakeholders the confidence they need to make decisions about CSE in their local areas. The current study created this needed scale using a structured 6-step process that integrated several methods establishing validity and reliability. Scale structure was tested using both exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, in addition to invariance testing and validity checks. The scale performed similarly across several groups and met predictions for known-groups and predictive validity, while showing some evidence for convergent validity as well. However, although findings indicate that the one-factor model of the CSEA-K12 was the best fitting model, the fit was weaker than desired. Suggestions for future work further addressing internal consistency of the scale are noted.

IMPLEMENTATION OF SHODAQOH INFAQ WARGA (SIAGA) PROGRAM IN PRODUCING ULAMA CADRES AT THE BAITUL MAKMUR KEMBANGSONGO MOSQUE BANTUL

Not all mosques have activities to produce ulama cadres. In fact, the cadre formation of ulama is important for the continuity of da'wah in an area. This research aims to describe the implementation of Shodaqoh Infaq Warga (SIAGA) to produce ulama cadres at the Baitul Makmur mosque, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This research is descriptive research with a case study. The research informants were the chairman of the mosque takmir, the chairman of the SIAGA division, community leaders, and leaders of Islamic boarding schools who collaborated with the takmir. The research methods used are interviews and observation. Data were analyzed qualitatively using the Miles and Huberman model. The research results show that SIAGA activities include: planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling, and two new stages namely maintaining and sustaining. The SIAGA activities have implemented Islamic communication principles in their execution, including: qaulan balighan, qaulan maysuran, qaulan kariman, qaulan ma’rufan, qaulan layyinan, and qaulan sadidan. The SIAGA program is considered effective in producing ulama cadres. The SIAGA activities in Kembangsongo village have also inspired neighboring villages to initiate similar programs to develop future religious scholars. Evaluation research on SIAGA activities needs to be carried out to analyze the effectiveness of the activities.

Kepemimpinan Spiritual Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Mutawalli dalam Meningkatkan Sumber Daya Manusia Pendidik di Pondok Pesantren Darul Aitam Jerowaru

Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Mutawalli's spiritual leadership has garnered attention due to his influence at the Darul Aitam Jerowaru Islamic Boarding School. The integrity of educational human resources in issue relates to the morals, ethics, honesty, accountability, and strong Islamic values that instructors and students embody. The goal of this study was to determine how Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Mutawalli provided spiritual leadership at the Darul Aitam Jerowaru Islamic Boarding School and contributed to the integrity of Educational Human Resources. Qualitative research is a research approach based on the idea of postpositivism, with data collected using triangulation and inductive analytical procedures. The results of this study are spiritual leadership in the Islamic boarding school of the practice of the tarekat taught by Tuan Guru Haji Muhammad Mutawalli is through opening the Majlis Taklim, the Majlis pengajian for the general public, then the strategy used uses only the sharia approach and the role as the leader of the Islamic boarding school, Tuan Guru directs and organizes his students, so a Tuan Guru has a lot of charm and authority in front of his students.

Intellectual Stimulation of Women's Transformational Leadership in Improving Institutional Brand Image

Education is one of the efforts to improve human quality. One of the elements that makes education more qualified, Various problems that are inseparable from life as an organization. These problems cover several aspects, such as defining goals, determining policies, developing programs, employing people, providing facilities, achieving results and coordinating separate activities. All of these activities require the involvement of people with different ability backgrounds, such as professional supervisors, and other personnel. This study aims to describe: Intellectual stimulation of women's transformational leadership in improving institutional brand image at the Bahrul Ulum Mambaiyyah Islamic Boarding School (BUM) in South Lampung Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach. This type of research can be used to find and understand what is hidden behind a phenomenon that is sometimes difficult to know or understand. Data collection in this study uses in-depth interview techniques, observation, and documentation where the data sources are from people, documents (paper) and places (place). While to obtain data obtained from informants in various forms such as written notes, interviews, observations and photos. Both from leaders, staff, stakeholders and also those involved in the management of the Bahrul Ulum Mambaiyyah Islamic Boarding School (BUM) in South Lampung Regency. The results of this study can be concluded that; In intellectual stimulation, Mbah Nyai is seen from her intelligence, tenacity, relationships, willingness to sacrifice and uniqueness in her preaching. As well as the charismatic and revolutionary leadership model approach and policies based on the mandate of the vision, mission and objectives of the institution and the mandate.

Financial Management Model in Realizing the Economic Independence of Islamic Boarding School

Islamic boarding schools are non-profit organizations. In its development, Islamic boarding schools are not only institutions that only concentrate on tafaqquh fiddin, but also develop businesses in order to realize economic independence, so that Islamic boarding schools do not depend on other institutions or on student contributions. However, the problems faced are, first, how is the financial management pattern applied in order to realize the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools? second, what are the forms of economic independence of Islamic boarding schools that have been realized? This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. This study took the object at PP. Manbaul Ulum Wonosari Bondowoso. Data were collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data were analyzed using the flow model stages from Miles and Huberman. The data validity test used triangulation of sources, techniques and time. So that the results obtained, first, that the financial management model of Islamic boarding schools is directly led by the Kiai, the management is handed over to trusted administrators. There is a planning process through budgeting, implementation, supervision and evaluation. The decision maker is the Kiai as the central leader of the Islamic Boarding School. Second, the form of economic independence of Islamic boarding schools is realized through the formation of business units such as banner printing, photocopying business, book store, uniform store, grocery store, santri cooperative, food stall/canteen, stationery store, reception decoration, and Ambarsa Mart. The profit from these businesses is managed for the needs of the Islamic boarding school. So, economically the Islamic boarding school has independence.

Componential of Creativity Santri Daar El Qolam Islamic Boarding School in the Field of Arts

A person's creativity depends on three main components: expertise, creative thinking ability, and intrinsic motivation. Expertise and creative thinking ability are technical skills and aptitudes that can be honed, while intrinsic motivation (motivation from within) is often the most important for generating innovative ideas. Santri of Daar el Qolam Islamic Boarding School dares to respond to culture and art. Through art activities provided by Kiyai and Asatidz, all students can participate in good and beautiful art activities. Activities that have been carried out include Art WearCreation Training, Making Women's Dresses from recycled materials, Sports and Arts Week, Santri Art Night, and Commemoration of National Santri Day by making a work of music and video clips with various performing arts.

Original Research Article Analysis of Factors Influencing the Incidence of Dysmenorrhea

Globally, the prevalence of dysmenorrhea in women is still high. Dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls that is not treated can interfere with daily activities and learning activities. Therefore, adolescents need to learn and understand the factors that affect dysmenorrhea. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of dysmenorrhea. This study was case control in design. The study included 300 participants, 120 of whom were selected using the purposive sampling technique from among the adolescent girls in the Muzamzamah Chosyi'ah Dormitory of Darul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School. A questionnaire was employed as the research tool. At a significance level of α <0.05, the data were analyzed using the chi-square test and logistic regression. The results of the analysis test showed that there was no effect of menarche age and the number of menstrual flow on the incidence of dysmenorrhea (p>0.05). The incidence of dysmenorrhea was influenced (p<0.05) by the menstrual cycle, duration of menstruation, family history, and BMI. The dominant factor influencing the incidence of dysmenorrhea was family history (p=0.000; Exp(B): 129.98). Family history of dysmenorrhea has a greater potential for the occurrence of dysmenorrhea because it is related to genetic factors that pass on traits to their offspring. It is recommended to adopt a healthy lifestyle such as exercising regularly, fulfilling balanced nutritional needs, and maintaining ideal body weight.

Pendampingan Usahatani Jagung Pakan dan Kedelai Edamame pada Ponpes Nurul Muhibbin, Kalimantan Selatan

Routine assistance to several Islamic boarding schools, including the Nurul Muhibbin Halong Islamic Boarding School, is the Adaro Santri Sejahtera (PASS) Program. This program focuses on skill development so that besides having religious knowledge, students are also expected to know about entrepreneurship. This mentoring activity is a form of Community Service (PkM) for Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) as a driving effort to develop a business unit for cultivating and marketing community agricultural products, such as feed corn and organic edamame. This activity is also aimed at making Islamic boarding schools more prosperous, independent, and advanced in learning religious knowledge and providing students with knowledge and skills in agribusiness to become independent people. This activity was carried out for four months (August‒December 2021) at the Nurul Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School, Halong District, Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan, with a target number of participants of 20 people. The method used in this activity is a classical and individual approach. The classical approach was taken when providing theory regarding the introduction of feed corn cultivation and organic edamame, while the individual approach was taken when filling out the questionnaire. This service activity produces elements of Islamic boarding school students, caregivers, and congregation farmers who have knowledge, understanding, and skills in intensive feed corn and organic edamame cultivation. This is essential capital for the Islamic boarding school to continue and develop farming to create an independent Islamic boarding school.
