A Study on the Assessment of Tour–Art–Learning Quality in Urban Parks from a Child-Friendly Perspective: A Case Study of Shaheyuan Park in Chengdu

Children are the future of society, and their well-being is vital for sustainable urban development. Chengdu, as the birthplace of the “Park City” concept, has actively integrated child-friendly principles into its urban model. In 2022, the “Implementation Plan for Building a Child-Friendly City in Chengdu” was launched, aiming to establish Chengdu as a leading national model. Since 2023, the city has leveraged its ecological strengths to promote “child-friendly happiness spaces”, providing children with ample recreational and developmental opportunities within its “Park City” framework. Analyzing urban park construction in Chengdu from a child-friendly perspective is significant not only for promoting children’s growth and urban development but also for providing valuable references for the development of child-friendly urban parks. Guided by the concept of “Tour–Art–Learning”, which focuses on creating outdoor recreational spaces suitable for children, this study establishes a quality assessment framework for urban parks from a child-friendly perspective. Based on survey data collected from Chengdu’s Shaheyuan Park using the Photo Elicitation Interview (PEI) method and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology, the analytic hierarchy process–fuzzy comprehensive assessment (AHP-FCE) model is applied to evaluate the park’s Tour–Art–Learning quality. The results show that while the park demonstrates high overall quality, there are deficiencies in cultural aesthetics and learning activity carrying capacity and significant room for improvement in site accessibility. This study systematically evaluates the child friendliness of Shaheyuan Park and proposes strategies for improving its Tour–Art–Learning quality, offering new theoretical perspectives and practical pathways for urban park construction and the development of child-friendly cities.

Identifying Batik Motifs in Early Childhood Art Learning: Developing Creativity and Cultural Awareness

Batik is one of Indonesia's most renowned traditional art forms, crafted by hand and rich in cultural significance. Introducing batik to children early is essential for preserving local heritage and fostering creativity, imagination, and motor skill development. This study aims to explore the identification of batik motifs in art education at PPBI Batik Kindergarten Yogyakarta and its role in enhancing creativity and cultural awareness in early childhood. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal and teachers of the kindergarten. Data analysis involved reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that several traditional batik motifs are incorporated into art learning, including kawung, parang, lereng (slope), truntum, and semen motifs, alongside modernized variations created by the children. The study demonstrated that identifying and learning batik motifs enhanced children’s artistic skills and deepened their cultural awareness. Through the use of visual and qualitative analysis methods, children were able to understand and appreciate the symbolic meanings of various motifs. Their participation in the creative process—from motif introduction, drawing, and canting to coloring—enhanced their creativity and art skills. This research concludes that art education involving batik at PPBI Batik Kindergarten Yogyakarta fosters children’s creativity, artistic abilities, and cultural awareness while contributing to the broader preservation of Indonesia's cultural heritage.

Ecoprint as an Environmentally Based Art Learning Innovation at SDN Sukamanah, Mangunjaya Village

Ecoprint is a technique for dyeing fabric and/or batik using natural materials. Ecoprint techniques are introduced to elementary school students because at that age children can train their motor skills independently and are able to think creatively. The purpose of the ecoprint introduction activity is to provide knowledge about ecoprint and skills for students in utilizing natural materials or plants around the school. The methods used are lectures, demonstrations, practices and evaluations. Evaluation uses direct direction and direct observation of Ecoprint products that have been made by students. Students have been able to print motifs and colors from leaves and flowers on fabrics producing Ecoprint products according to their respective creativity, even the results of this Ecoprint can be displayed or sold.

Teachers' Strategies in Enhancing experience and Creating Fun Art Learning For Children Aged 3-6 years in PAUD Jabal Rahmah Yogyakarta

The To optimize children's art development in art learning activities, teachers must have the right strategy. Therefore, it is not only the right techniques and resources that are needed to enhance children's art development. The teacher's method of preparing for learning, as well as methods, media, and other elements, greatly affect the child's learning process. The purpose of this study is to provide an explanation of the methods teachers use to make art learning fun for students in kindergarten. The research was conducted in one month, during April 2024. The location of this research was conducted in one of the PAUD in Yogyakarta, namely Jabal rahmah PAUD. This qualitative descriptive study was designed as a case study. Data collection involved observation, documentation, and interviews. Presenting data, reducing data, and drawing conclusions were part of the data analysis conducted using the Miles Huberman model. The discussion of art learning strategies in early childhood at Jabal Rahmah PAUD shows that these strategies are quite different: direct and collaborative learning strategies with group and centre models proved to be fun and improved children's art skills. based on this, children are used to working together and are confident in their respective fields. in addition, teachers use art learning as part of teaching and learning activities, while extracurricular teachers conduct art form activities such as music, fine arts and dance. This is due to the difference between classroom teachers and teachers who teach outside the classroom, who have greater professional experience gained through arts education.

A111: A Study on Effect of Learning Martial Arts by Different People Influenced by Chinese Culture

Background/Purpose: To better develop multi-racial education of practicing and learning martial arts, this essay was written by using case analysis and information analysis. Methods: According to the recently HYX 16th World Wushu Championships, 76.9% athletes who learned about Chinese culture got the points higher than average. In addition, in the 9th World Kungfu Championships, 87% athletes had learned about Chinese culture won a prize in the contest. Meanwhile, we prepared 20 overseas students who started learning martial arts to identify whether learning Chinese culture was beneficial to martial arts learning. Every member in this program never studied Chinese culture and knew little about martial arts. Due to the gender difference in Chinese martial arts competition penalties, we recruited ten male and ten female volunteers, each gender of five individuals per group. Five were in the experimental group and five were in the control group. Each member of the test group did not receive Chinese culture-related content after each training session. The control group learned about Chinese culture after each training session. Each of the volunteers was between 18 and 22 years old and had a similar body type. We employed an experimental martial arts competition every Monday with concurrent scoring. Additionally, the rate of the locomotor performance was also considered as part of the rating that is rated according to Body Fat Rate, Heart Rate during exercise, 100 Meter Dash, and Flexibility. Each test was taken place on the Sunday following three training sessions a week. The intervention lasted for 5 weeks. Results: ANCOVA with repeated measures indicated that the control group had overall higher scores of the games than the experimental group (F = 7.13, p = 0.005, η2 = 0.117; F = 7.21, p = 0.006, η2 = 0.113). Beyond that, regarding the results of martial arts performance, the ANCOVA with repeated rate of each test had overall lower levels compared to the control group (F = 7.67, p = 0.005, η2 = 0.129). Conclusion: This experiment showed that learning relevant Chinese culture can effectively improve the performance of traditional martial arts without observing differences by gender or race. Therefore, learning Chinese culture in the world is an excellent means to promote Chinese martial arts to the world.

Teaching Module for Creating Songs with STAD Cooperative Learning Strategy in Music Art Learning at High School in Yogyakarta

This research aims to: (1) produce a teaching module for creating songs with a cooperative learning strategy of the STAD type as a teacher's guide in learning music at high schools in Yogyakarta and (2) determine the feasibility of teaching modules for creating simple songs with a cooperative learning strategy of the STAD type in learning music at high schools in Yogyakarta. This research is a type of research and development with the ADDIE development model developed by Dick and Carry. The subjects in this study consisted of expert validators, teachers and students. The trial design in this study consisted of two stages, namely: (1) the preliminary test stage addressed to expert validators and (2) the trial stage addressed to teachers and students. Data collection techniques used validity instruments, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique consists of analyzing product feasibility data, analyzing teacher and learner response data. The results of this study are: (1) a simple songwriting teaching module product has been developed, this module is equipped with a Cooperative Learning learning strategy and a guide to the use of Adobe Audition video tutorials, (2) this module reviewed by two experts, learning experts with a final score of 78% with the category “Feasible” and material experts with a final score of 83% with the category “Very Feasible”.

Promoting Lifelong Learning in Arts and Health

This paper examines the intersection of lifelong learning with the arts and health, focusing on how continuous education in these areas’ benefits individuals and society. Lifelong learning in arts and health not only promotes personal development and professional growth but also fosters well-being, emotional resilience, and social connectivity. The arts can be a critical tool in health care, improving mental health outcomes and fostering creativity among practitioners. Despite these benefits, barriers such as funding, time constraints, and lack of resources hinder the integration of arts into health education and practice. These study outlines strategies for overcoming these challenges through innovative pedagogical approaches, digital learning, and policy initiatives. It emphasizes the importance of creating environments that support both formal and informal learning, enabling broader participation in arts-based health interventions. Case studies and best practices illustrate successful models of lifelong learning in arts and health, demonstrating their potential to reduce social exclusion and enhance the quality of care. Some Measures to Advance the Positiveness of Preschool Children in Shaping Activities

Shaping activities is an artistic learning activity. In preschool, shaping activities include activities such as drawing, molding, cutting, tearing, pasting, assembling... This activity has a great effect in educating and forming the personality of preschool children, form in children love for people, love for nature, love for life, love for beauty. Therefore, preschool teachers need to have measures to help children positive participate in activities, bringing them emotions, excitement and passion to implement their ideas.

Teachers’ perceptions and practices of iPads for visual arts learning in early childhood education

This paper contributes to the ongoing debate about information and communications technologies integration in early childhood education, specifically its role in promoting visual arts education. We explored the use of iPads to support young children’s visual arts learning. A qualitative case study approach used observations, interviews, and children’s assessments to obtain data. Results showed that teachers held positive perceptions of iPads as tools for young children’s visual arts education, teachers collaborated with children while using iPads, and teachers integrated iPads with traditional art resources. The study suggests that teachers’ positive perceptions of iPads and their purposeful integration into children’s learning environments could creatively foster young children’s visual arts education.

Pola Penerapan Residensi Unggulan Melalui Pendekatan In-kind dan Matchmaking dalam Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Seni Lintas Disiplin bersama Industri Kreatif Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa

The implementation pattern of flagship residencies through in-kind and matchmaking approaches in developing interdisciplinary art learning media with the creative industry at the Fine Arts Education Study Program aims to enhance the quality and relevance of art education. This program integrates in-kind contributions from the creative industry with a matchmaking process to create productive collaborations between students and industry practitioners. Methods include residency selection, interdisciplinary art project development, and evaluation of program outcomes and impacts. The results show an increase in students' practical skills and interdisciplinary understanding, as well as the enrichment of the fine arts education curriculum through direct input from the creative industry. The implementation of this pattern is expected to strengthen the synergy between education and industry, and produce innovative and applicable art learning media

Case Study of Chinese Traditional Martial Arts Inheritance Based on Deep Learning

With the development of modern science and technology, computer technology is more and more applied to the learning and development of martial arts. In order to study and expand the way of martial arts, this paper analyzes the role of the traditional way of martial arts teaching mode and computer-aided teaching mode. Computer technology breaks old ideas, breaks traditional teaching methods, and promotes the learning and development of martial arts. The way of martial arts collection is the combination of a series of movements, which means the protective significance of boxing and attack. Based on the analysis of the current emotional state of students and its reasons, this paper studies the positive influence of various elements of traditional martial arts on students’ emotional states and puts forward specific measures to enhance the positive effect of traditional martial arts on students’ emotional states.

The Concept of Flexible Learning for Teaching Art Disciplines in Elementary Schools for National Minorities in modern PR China

The concept of flexible learning is increasingly important in contemporary education systems, particularly for teaching art and aesthetic disciplines. In China, this approach is especially relevant in schools serving national minorities, where diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds necessitate a more adaptable and inclusive educational framework. This article aims to explore the implementation of flexible learning for teaching art and aesthetic disciplines in modern elementary schools in China, focusing on the experiences and strategies used to organise the educational process for representatives of national minorities. When writing the article, the methods typical for researching papers in the field of general education and pedagogical comparative studies were used, in particular: literature review, case studies, document analysis, comparative analysis, observation. The article results. Flexible learning refers to educational approaches that provide students with choices regarding how, what, when, and where they learn. It emphasises adaptability to individual learning needs, preferences, and cultural contexts. Implementing flexible learning in art and aesthetic disciplines involves several strategies to accommodate the unique needs of national minority students (such as cultural and artistic integration, use of technology, community involvement and flexible learning environments) and is widely used in PR China in regions with significant populations of national minorities, providing valuable results. However, implementing flexible learning for art and aesthetic disciplines in schools for national minorities comes with challenges, including resource limitations and the need for special programs of teacher training activities including cultural sensitivity, which are the point of constant attention of the Chinese government. The study concludes that the implementation of flexible learning for teaching art and aesthetic disciplines in modern elementary schools in China, particularly for national minorities, demonstrates a commitment to inclusivity and adaptability in education. By integrating bilingual education, technology, community involvement, and flexible learning environments, these schools can provide a more personalised and culturally relevant education for their students. Despite the challenges, the benefits of this approach are significant and include promoting cultural preservation, artistic expression, and social cohesion.

The Effect of Project Based Learning in Realizing Performing Arts on Entrepreneurial Motivation in Art Learning in Vocational School Students

The competence that must be possessed by Vocational School (VS) students is to be able to find business opportunities independently. Related to the subjects of art and culture, it is hoped that VS students have the motivation that can be carried out by the presence of performing arts in the form of performances that can be used as opportunities for entrepreneurship. Thus, VS students must have entrepreneurial motivation to have business opportunities in the arts and culture sector. One of the learning strategies that can be used is to use PBL. PBL can increase students' learning motivation and also facilitate students' problem-solving abilities. This study aimed to determine how the implementation of PBL in realizing performances and the influence of PBL on entrepreneurial motivation in art learning for VS students. The research method uses an experimental research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Participants in this study were 37 students in one of the VS in the Indramayu district, and the study was conducted using a systematic sampling technique. The research instrument used an entrepreneurial motivation questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using statistical descriptions and Paired-Sample T-Test. This study concludes that PBL affects VS students' entrepreneurial motivation in art learning. PBL can motivate students to reflect on what they learn in an actual project and provide opportunities for students to think and be creative when realizing a project in the arts and culture. Students can understand that in the performance, various job descriptions can be used for business opportunities or jobs in arts and culture to conduct further research with more participants so that the results of this study can be more generalized.

Parental Influence on Child Art Learning: Examining Habitus and Social Trajectories in Taiwanese and U.S. Cultural Contexts

This qualitative study examines how parental habitus in Taiwan and the United States shapes their views on the role of art in child development. Drawing on the social ecological systems framework and habitus theories, it explores parental influences on art education practices. Using a dual-case, cross-cultural approach, the study analyzes interviews, observations, and artifacts from 26 parent-participants with children aged four to seven in art programs. Findings reveal cultural, social, and educational factors influencing parental decisions. Despite cultural differences, both groups prioritize active involvement in their children’s artistic development, emphasizing art’s intrinsic value for fostering creativity, well-being, and character. The study highlights the importance of parent education and advocates for integrating parental perspectives into art education policies. This research enhances understanding of parental influences in children’s art education, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to promote art as integral to holistic child development.

Analysis of Computational Bibliometric Mapping in Multimedia for Art Learning Media Publications using VOSviewer

This research explores the development of fine arts learning media using interactive multimedia research. The goal can be a reference for researchers in conducting and defining research themes, especially around multimedia learning. The method is used through a bibliographic approach with computational mapping analysis using VOSviewer. Article data is retrieved from the Google Scholar database using a publish-or-perish reference management application. Article titles and abstracts serve as guidelines when searching for keywords like "art," "learning media," and "multimedia." We found 447 seemingly related articles. The study period used as learning material is a paper from the last five years (2018 to 2023) indexed by Google Scholar. The results of research on fine arts learning media using interactive multimedia can be classified into four terms. The first term "Training" belongs to cluster 2 with a total of 34 links, an overall link strength of 138, and 59 events. The second term, "Media", belongs to cluster 2, with a total of 30 links, an overall connection strength of 142, and 74 events. The third term, "Multimedia", belongs to cluster 2, with a total of 27 links, an overall connection strength of 110, and 55 events. The fourth term "art" belongs to cluster 1 with a total of 34 links, an overall link strength of 138 and 59 events. From 2018 to 2020, the survey found research fluctuations in several media-based art learning media studies (65, 110, and 124 publications per year, respectively). The number of studies decreased from 44 (2021) to 16 (2023) from 2021 to 2023. Thus, there are still many opportunities for researchers to discuss it.

The Sharing Model of Kindergarten Art Enlightenment Education Curriculum Resources Based on Deep Learning Algorithm

In order to meet the autonomous needs of children’s art learning, this paper studies the sharing model of kindergarten art enlightenment education curriculum resources under the deep learning algorithm. Build a kindergarten art enlightenment education curriculum resource-sharing model that includes the classification and storage layer of education curriculum resources, the metadata annotation layer of education curriculum resources and the shared business service layer. The deep learning algorithm is used in the classification and storage layer of education curriculum resources. The education curriculum resources are divided into courseware resources, case resources and media materials resources through unsupervised restricted Boltzmann machine (RBM) coding and supervised training process. The ontology model of various educational curriculum resources is constructed, and the semantic information of educational curriculum resources is described using ontology. The metadata annotation layer of education curriculum resources annotates the metadata semantics of education curriculum resources through the constructed ontology, which improves the consistency and sharing of education curriculum resources management. The implementation of resource sharing business service is based on semantic analysis and query of educational curriculum resources. Therefore, the shared business service layer adopts a semantic query method based on improved similarity algorithm, which combines semantic distance, node density, node depth and relationship type to build a semantic similarity calculation method to achieve semantic analysis and query of educational curriculum resources. The experimental results show that the model is suitable for multi-classification of shared resources in the kindergarten art enlightenment education curriculum, and the semantic query accuracy is high in the process of sharing. When the threshold is [Formula: see text] 0.5, the query effect of the sharing model in this paper is ideal, which can meet the needs of users’ autonomous learning.

Influence of Chinese Landscape Painting in Shandong Province, China

With social and economic development, the spiritual needs of the people have become more demanding. The learning and development of art promotes the advancement of aesthetic education. Landscape painting, as an art form with a long history in China, also needs further enhancement. A quantitative study based on a questionnaire survey was conducted to understand the influence of Chinese landscape painting on different aspects of society, such as social mood, culture, aesthetic education and economy. A total of 120 respondents from different professions participated in this survey. The data were collected online, and the analysis of means revealed that Chinese landscape painting has an impact on different aspects of social development. This result brings further insights into the role of landscape painting education in universities.

This research aims to examine the role of fine arts learning in character formation of students at Pacet Islamic Middle School using a neuroaesthetic approach. Fine art is not only seen as a medium for visual expression, but also as a means of cognitive and emotional development that contributes to the formation of positive characters, such as creativity, discipline, cooperation and responsibility. A neuroaesthetic approach is used to understand how students' brains respond to aesthetic stimuli in the art learning process and how these experiences influence the development of moral and ethical values. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects involved class VIII students at Pacet Islamic Middle School. The research results show that fine arts learning is able to stimulate students' character development through various creative and aesthetic activities. Visual stimulation provided through fine art media influences brain functions related to emotion and cognition, which in turn facilitates the formation of better character. The conclusion of this research is that fine arts as part of education not only improves students' aesthetic abilities, but also makes a significant contribution to the formation of their character. Therefore, fine arts learning should be integrated more deeply into the educational curriculum to optimize student potential, both in terms of academics and character formation.

Design and Implementation of Interdisciplinary Thematic Learning in Middle School Art Supported by Digital Technology

Digital technology is helpful to the interdisciplinary subject learning and practice.
