In this article is proposed a finite element static analysis of stretched ropes on winded spans; the rope is supposed to be extensible and perfectly flexible, loaded by concentrated forces, by its own weight and by the wind pressure. The resultant of the wind load on a rope element is considered directed as the component of the wind speed in the plane normal to the centerline and proportional to the square of said component.
