In this paper, the problem of semiglobal asymptotic stabilization is considered for a class of nonlinear systems. Although many control schemes assume a system with a vanishing condition, a linear partial state feedback control law is provided even if uncertainties exist at the origin. All the states of an uncertain system can be semiglobally asymptotically stabilizable by the method of "adding integrator". This design method is suitable to a normal form system.
