Analysis of human resources governance system in the framework of increasing the business of PT. Rumah Sakit Mata Pekanbaru

The Pekanbaru Eye Hospital Eye Center (PBEC) is one of the Eye Hospitals that is quite famous in the city of PekanBaru in particular and in Riau Province in general. It is a tertiary hospital located in the northern part of Indonesia. The eye hospital industry has a great impact on the quality of eye health services. This study aims to investigate how HR at PBEC Eye Hospital is managed to achieve high productivity and positive outcomes, such as consumer satisfaction and hospital business performance, positing that effective HR governance leads to better results, while poor governance has negative impacts. This research has two primary objectives: to fulfill a graduation requirement at Bina Nusantara University, Jakarta, and to offer insights to eye hospital managers on the role of Human Resource Governance in hospital development, particularly at the eye hospital. The findings of this study will provide an in-depth understanding of how HR governance can support the progress of the hospital's business, as well as strategic steps to improve HR governance that have the potential to improve hospital performance. The suggestions submitted include improving the process and quality of HR governance through improving SOPs, training, consulting, and technology.

Nilai- Nilai Yang Terkandung Dalam Tradisi Rewang (Kojo Samo) Pada Masyarakat Desa Delik Kecamatan Pelalawan Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau

This study aims to determine the values contained in the Rewang (kojo samo) tradition in the community of Delik Village, Pelalawan District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. This research uses the theory of Uu Hamidy (2014: 49). The method used is descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study amounted to 4 people consisting of 1 Batin Dolik (Delik Village tribal leader), 1 Delik Village customary leader, 2 Rewang members (kojo samo). The results of this study conclude that the Rewang Tradition (kojo samo) is a hereditary tradition that is preserved and considered important by the Delik Village Community because of cooperation and can help ease the burden in a celebration event activity, namely marriage. Rewang (kojo samo) tradition contains educational value, religious value, social value and tradition value. The value of education in the rewang tradition is to receive teachings that the community or the younger generation does not know in cooking. The religious value of the rewang tradition is eating together and praying (thanksgiving) for the smooth running of the wedding tomorrow. The social value of the rewang tradition is the existence of mutual help, and cooperation between the community and other communities. The value of tradition in the rewang tradition (kojo samo) is that it has become a community habit that the elders used to do until now.

Dance Learning in Children with Special Needs Autism Pk-Plk Center at Extraordinary School (SLB) Cendana Pekanbaru City, Riau Province

Eduction is a need of every human being, both normal and special needs, as stated in the national education system (Law No. 20 of 2003 article 5 paragraph (1) where it is stated that every citizen has the right to obtain a quality education, as a social creature human beings must be able to interact with their environment, especially with fellow humans. In carrying out this interaction, it also requires a medium of interaction in the form of communication both verbally (verbally) and non-verbally. The purpose of this research is how to describe the problems faced by teachers in teaching dance material to children with autism disorders at the SMALB level at the PK-PLK Center of SLB Cendana, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. Also describes the strategies carried out by teachers in carrying out the learning process of dance material in children with Autism disorders, The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with the process of searching and compiling systematically based on (observation) interviews, compiling into a pattern of choosing data to be used as conclusions, collecting data on lesson problems faced by teachers in children with special needs, strategies and tips carried out by teachers and how teachers teach dance to children with special needs so that in this study add understanding of learning and dealing with children with special needs at SMALB Sentra PK-PLK SLB Cendana Pekanbaru City, Riau Province.

Performance Evaluation of Farm Machinery Utilization Under Custom Hiring Services Managements

Farm machinery hire service is a custom hiring business model managed by farmers’ groups at the farm level. The model is developed to facilitate access to farm machinery by small farmers and derive income (profit) from hiring out machinery services. This research attempts to evaluate the performance of farm machinery hire services in the Indragiri Hulu Region, Riau Province. The field surveys were conducted from September to October 2022 in 11 districts in the province. A total of 11 managers and 22 operators from 11 farm machinery hire service groups were selected purposively and interviewed to collect field data. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and quantitative approaches. The results showed that farm machinery hire service groups manage 3 to 6 types of machines, including hand tractors, mini tractors, water pumps, rice transplanters, combine harvesters, and power threshers. The available farm machines are not sufficient to cover the entire area owned by farm machinery hire service groups. Therefore, most machines must work beyond capacity to achieve the target of covering as wide an area as possible. The machinery hire service was profitable for businesses at the farm level in the region. The results suggest that the number and type of farm machines must be added to increase the working area and make more profit. Metode Pembinaan Akhlak Berpakaian Oleh Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMPN 1 Mandah Kecamatan Mandah Provinsi Riau

This study is motivated by the results of a problem found by several researchers, namely that there are some students who wear a headscarf but do not cover their breasts so that the body shape is visible, and there are also students who do not cover their genitals completely. Therefore, the teacher uses several methods to promote dress etiquette. The purpose of this study was to describe the method used by Islamic religious education teachers to promote clothing style in SMPN 1 Mandah, Mandah Regency, Riau Province. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The informants consisted of key informants and support informants, students and auxiliary informants, ie. Muslim religious education teachers. When gathering information through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis with data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Test the validity of the material with source triangulation, ie. comparing the results of interviews with key informants and supporting informants with the results of the author's direct observation. The results of this study are summarized as follows: that the teachers in SMPN 1 Mandah, Mandah Regency, Riau Province use several methods to promote the morals of students in dressing, namely: exemplary method, habit method, advisory method and punishment method.

MODERASI DUKUNGAN PEMERINTAH DAN MEDIASI PERUBAHAN STRATEGIS TERHADAP KINERJA UMKM

Purpose: This research tries to see the influence of the availability of financial capital, innovative work behavior, strategic changes, and government support on the performance of MSMEs Methodology/approach:Using mediation and moderation models, this research tries to examine the relationship between these variables. The research method used was a quantitative approach with 100 respondents from MSMEs in Riau Province taken using a cluster random sampling technique. The research analysis technique uses path analysis using the Smart PLS tool which aims to look at the outer model, inner model and hypothesis testing. Findings: this research succeeded in proving that government support can strengthen the relationship between the availability of financial capital, innovative performance behavior and strategic changes to the performance of MSMEs. However, this research has not been able to prove the direct influence of innovative performance behavior and the indirect influence of strategic changes on the performance of MSMEs Practical implications: The results of this research have an impact on the importance of government support in MSME finance. The government is expected to pay more attention to MSMEs' needs for sufficient and stable finance. Originality/value: There are still limited research references regarding the availability of financial capital, innovative work behavior, and the performance of MSMEs mediated by strategic change and moderated by government support. The Effect Of Payment Through Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS) On Customer Satisfaction Of Micro, Small And Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) In Riau Province

In the realm of digital payment systems, the adoption of Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS) represents a significant advancement, promising efficiency and convenience in the digital economy. This study investigates the impact of QRIS on customer satisfaction within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Riau Province. Through a quantitative approach and purposive sampling of 400 respondents, the research employs multiple linear regression analysis, validity tests, reliability tests, T-tests, and coefficient of determination (R²) using IBM SPSS version 25. The findings indicate a statistically significant positive relationship between QRIS usage and customer satisfaction among MSMEs in Riau Province. The study contributes valuable insights into the digital payment ecosystem's role in enhancing customer satisfaction, offering strategic guidance for businesses and policymakers. The R² value of 0.759 underscores QRIS variables' substantial explanatory power (75.9%) in influencing customer satisfaction within MSMEs, illuminating avenues for further exploration and application in digital payment innovations.

Building MSME Competitiveness Through the Local Business Development Program in the Upstream Oil and Gas Working Area of the Rokan Block in Riau Province

This study examines the potential optimization of the Local Business Development (LBD) partnership program in the development of MSMEs in the upstream oil and gas work area of the Rokan Block, Riau Province. MSMEs in Indonesia, totaling 64.2 million units, play a crucial role in the economy by contributing 61.07% to GDP and absorbing 97% of the workforce. However, MSMEs face various challenges such as limited access to financing and low technical capabilities. Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR), through the LBD program, seeks to enhance the capabilities of local MSMEs in the oil and gas mining sector. This study uses the SEM-PLS analysis method to explain the relationship between partnership, entrepreneurial orientation, human resource capability, organizational learning, and the competitive advantage of MSMEs. Data were collected through questionnaires from 232 MSME owners registered in the LBD partnership program. The analysis results show that partnership, entrepreneurial orientation, and organizational learning significantly influence human resource capabilities and the competitive advantage of MSMEs. This research provides practical and theoretical guidelines for the implementation of the LBD-based partnership program, as well as deep insights for oil and gas companies, the government, and relevant stakeholders in enhancing the contribution of partnerships to MSME development. This study also bridges existing research gaps and empirical gaps and offers a new perspective on partnership theory with a local business development contract cooperation pattern supported by the upstream oil and gas company's partnership program.

Factors Associated with Patient Triage Accuracy in the Emergency Department

Triage in the Emergency Department (ED) aims to provide timely emergency interventions in accordance with the urgency of the patient's condition. Triage decisions may be related to both nursing and patient factors. This study aimed to identify factors associated with the accuracy of patient triage in the ED of Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital in Riau Province, Indonesia. The study utilized a quantitative approach with a descriptive analytic design using a cross-sectional approach. The study population were adult patients aged 18 years and above who came to the ED, with a sample size of 80 patients selected through consecutive sampling. Triage data were collected using an observation sheet, and triage accuracy was assessed by comparing nursing triage decisions with those of the attending ED physician, considered as the gold standard. Data analysis included univariate and bivariate analyses using Fisher's exact test, as well as multivariate analysis with logistic regression. The majority of respondents were adults aged 18-59 years (n=56, 70.0%), male (n=55, 68.8%), non-trauma emergency status (n=65, 81.2%), self-transported (n=66, 82.5%), and 68 respondents (85%) had accurate triage results. Fisher's exact test showed significant associations between age, gender, mode of transportation, type of emergency, and triage accuracy, with all p-values <0.005. The most significant factors associated with triage accuracy were male gender (OR 8.237, 95% CI= 1.875-36.199, p-value 0.005) and adult age (OR 5.270, 95% CI= 1.267-21.927, p-value 0.022). In conclusion, there were significant associations between age, gender, mode of transportation, type of emergency, and triage accuracy, with male gender and adult age being the most significant factors. Regular monitoring and evaluation of triage implementation are necessary to improve triage accuracy and patient outcomes in the ED.

Analysis of special rice farming income in supporting the reduction of stunting in Riau province

Abstract Rice is a food commodity and is the main source of carbohydrates for the majority of the world’s population. Currently the function of rice has shifted from food with a special function, especially for health. Stunting is still a serious health problem facing Indonesia. Based on data from the National Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) for 2022, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is 21.6%. This number decreased compared to the previous year, which was 24.4%. New superior varieties of special rice have special characteristics, such as Inpari IR Nutri Zinc and brown rice (Pamelen) which are very beneficial for health. This research was conducted in June - December 2021, located in Sungai Tengah village, Sabah Auh District, Siak Regency. The materials used are special rice superior varieties (Pamelen, Tarabas, Baroma, Inpari Nutri Zinc, Inpari 24). This study aims to determine the income of rice farming, especially in an effort to support the reduction of stunting in Riau Province. The results showed that Pamelen and Inpari Nutri zinc varieties produced 4,452 kg/ha GKG and 4,686 kg/ha GKG higher than the average production of other rice. The BCR value of all varieties is more than 1, this explains that all varieties developed according to economic analysis are feasible and profitable. the Inpari IR Nutri Zinc variety of rice is suitable for cultivation in Siak Regency, Riau Province.

Challenges in Type 2 Diabetes Prevention among Senior High School Students: A Qualitative Study.

Schools, a place where students spend much more time than home, play an important role in preventing the nation's future generation from type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This study aimed to explore challenges in T2DM prevention among senior high school students. The study was conducted in Riau Province, Indonesia, from June to August 2023 using a qualitative content analysis. 31 respondents, determined by data saturation, were recruited using purposeful sampling. They were public senior high schools' principals, vice principals, school health services staff, school canteen tenants, students, parents, and primary health care personnel in six districts. Data were collected through semi-structured face-to-face interviews and document review. Graneheim and Lundman's content analysis method was used to analyze the data in Nvivo version 11 software. The Lincoln and Guba Qualitative research criteria for trustworthiness were used to ensure the rigor of the study. The main concepts obtained from the data were classified into three themes entitled, "Nonoptimal existing diabetes prevention programs in schools", "Inadequate knowledge of school community on T2DM", and "Inadequate policies to prevent diabetes in schools". An evidence-based, well-organized, and systematic school-based diabetes prevention program is fundamental to help overcome challenges and prevent future T2DM incidence. It requires relevant stakeholders' high level of awareness, strong collaborations with the school community, and effective school policies.

Influence of Teachers' Computing Skills on the Utilization of PMM at SDN 014 Ujung Tanjung, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency

This research concludes a strong correlation between computer proficiency and the utilization of PMM (Pedagogical Media Package) among teachers at SDN 014 Ujung Tanjung, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, with a correlation coefficient of 0.98. The findings suggest that the higher the computer proficiency possessed by teachers, the greater the utilization of PMM in their teaching processes. The regression equation, Y=0.901X-0.107, provides a mathematical representation of this relationship, indicating that for every one-unit increase in computer proficiency, the utilization of PMM is expected to increase by 0.901 units, with an initial utilization of PMM of -0.107 when computer proficiency is zero. This conclusion underscores the importance of enhancing computer proficiency among teachers to optimize the utilization of PMM in teaching practices. By considering this regression equation, a more focused and sustainable approach to developing teachers' computer skills can be implemented, thus enabling more effective and efficient utilization of PMM to support learning objectives. Therefore, efforts to improve digital literacy and technology skills among educators are crucial for maximizing the potential of technology-enhanced learning in the future.

Mitigating Carbon Emissions of Community Palm Plantations on Peatland

Increasing smallholder oil palm plantation activities on peatlands has become a challenge in achieving carbon emission reduction targets.The contradiction between the value of carbon emissions released and the carbon absorption capacity of oil palm plants needs to be known. This research the aim is to determine the value of lost emissions and the capacity to absorb carbon due to smallholder oil palm plantation activities on peatlands. So it can be a consideration in formulating carbon emission mitigation efforts in smallholder oil palm plantations on peatlands. The research was carried out descriptively using a spatial approach and field surveys on smallholder oil palm plantations on peatlands in Riau Province. Spatial analysis was carried out to determine the value of emissions lost due to changes in land cover. A field survey was carried out to measure absorption and emission values in several age classes of smallholder oil palm plantations. The research results found that carbon emissions from smallholder oil palm plantations on peatlands have increased every year along with the rate of additional opening of new plantations. The largest carbon emissions occur in the immature plant age class. As the age of oil palm plants increases, the value of peatland carbon emissions tends to decrease, while the value of carbon absorption increases. Mitigation to reduce carbon emissions that can be done is regulating the density of oil palm plants and implementing Legume Cover Crop on immature plants.

The implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program on employee working conditions in the harvesting unit of PT Sewangi Sejati Luhur

PT. Sewangi Sejati Luhur, a palm oil plantation company, manages 7,000 hectares divided into 12 divisions across 3 estates. The company primarily focuses on cultivating and processing Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB), with the harvesting unit employing the most workers. This research aims to investigate the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program within the harvesting unit at PT Sewangi Sejati Luhur, designed to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases. Conducted in Tapung Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, Riau Province, the study employs a quantitative descriptive method using the HIRARC method to assess OHS application and employee working conditions. A saturated sample of 30 harvesting employees was surveyed through interviews and documentation of the OHS program. The findings reveal that the OHS program includes periodic health exams, OHS awareness campaigns, monthly activities, and training sessions. The program's implementation has led to low accident rates and satisfactory achievement of goals. Correlation analysis shows a significant link between OHS program implementation and improved employee working conditions. Additionally, 82% of respondents reported that the OHS program significantly influenced their working conditions, while 18% cited other factors. Overall, the OHS program in PT Sewangi Sejati Luhur's harvesting unit has been effective, ensuring a low accident rate and meeting monthly targets.

DNA Barcoding Analysis of Betok Fish (Anabas testudineus) from Kampar, Riau Based on Cytochrome Oxidase Subunit I (COI)

Ikan betok (Anabas testudineus, Bloch 1792) is one of fishes which is a member of family Anabantidae. Betok is an endemic fish in Riau Province. The scientific study about DNA barcoding of betok fish is still rarely. This research aims to analyze the DNA barcode sequence of cytochrome c oxidase I (COI) on betok fish. Methods were used in this study such as sampling, total DNA extraction, PCR, electrophoresis, sequencing and data analysis. The COI sequence studied had size of 694 bp. The BLASTn analysis showed that the betok fish had the highest similarity of 99.7% with A. testudineus and the lowest 93.00% with A. cobojinus. There was one nucleotide that characterize the betok fish based on the COI sequence namely nucleotide number 309. This study may enrich the DNA barcode database of betok fish in GeneBank.

The transformation of Islamic Higher Education Institutions (hereafter, PTKIS) towards quality education with a religious moderation approach in the Indragiri Hulu District, Riau Province, is crucial for meeting contemporary challenges and fostering socio-economic development. This article explores the integration of religious moderation within the PTKIS environment in the Indragiri Hulu District and the developmental direction of private PTKIS in the region adopting a religious moderation approach. Research outcomes emphasize key transformational aspects, including curriculum adjustments to incorporate religious moderation content into every lecture. This aligns with moderate Islamic values and reflects the latest developments in science and technology, aiming to enhance accessibility and educational quality, creating an innovative learning environment. PTKIS in the Indragiri Hulu District is dedicated to creating an inclusive campus that respects diversity, promotes critical thinking, and instills tolerance. Emphasizing the improvement of teaching and research quality involves applying religious moderation values in all academic activities. Modernizing campus facilities, including digital libraries and state-of-the-art laboratories, is prioritized to meet contemporary educational standards. A hidden curriculum is implemented for broad student participation. Additionally, PTKIS collaborates with local governments, communities, and the industrial sector to establish close links between education and employment, preparing graduates with practical skills for a competitive job market. The transformation of PTKIS in the Indragiri Hulu District establishes a holistic, modern educational foundation aligned with religious moderation values, contributing positively to character formation, intellectual development, and active engagement in a diverse society.

The Influence of Human Resource on Employee Performance and Organizational Commitment in the Road Transport Sector: A Study of Riau Province Transportation Service

This research aims to assess the performance of Civil Servants within the Road Transport Sector of the Riau Province Transportation Service in fulfilling their duties and supporting Organizational Commitment. Employing a qualitative approach, the study involves direct observation and in-depth analysis of existing phenomena using a descriptive method. Key findings include: 1) Civil Servants' performance is generally rated as satisfactory, but falls short in optimizing adherence to Riau Governor Regulation Number 61 of 2021 due to issues such as low work discipline, inadequate competence in task completion, and ineffective inter-employee communication; 2) Competency among Civil Servants is hindered by low engagement in technical training initiatives; 3) Organizational Commitment is notably low, reflecting insufficient awareness of the significance of their roles. Additionally, suboptimal work motivation and inadequate working conditions are evident. Furthermore, the relationship between leadership and staff is characterized by inadequate guidance and motivation, posing challenges to achieving the objectives of the Road Transport Sector of the Riau Province Transportation Service.

Riau Province is an Indonesian province located on the east coast of the central island of Sumatra. Its coastal area borders the Strait of Malacca. The people in Riau are dominated by the Malay tribe, where this tribe is also influenced by the Malay culture in Sumatra, Malaysia, Singapore. due to the close proximity of the region. characterized by similarities in dress or dress that has its own characteristics. the people of Riau usually wear their traditional clothes at major events, such as traditional ceremonies, holidays, official events.
