The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships between uncertainty, resilience and compliance among Kidney transplant (KT) patients. For this descriptive study, 213 KT patients were recruited from the outpatient departments in one tertiary hospital and five on-line patient self-help communities. Data collection included demographics and clinical characteristics of the participants, uncertainty, resilience, and compliance. Data were analyzed using SPSS 28.0. Compliance was negatively correlated to uncertainty (r=-.312, p<.001) and positively correlated to resilience (r=.629, p<.001). Regression model explained 43.5% of the variance (F=24.335, p<.001). Gender (female) (β=.111, p=.039), experience of ABO·organization incompatibility (β=.140, p=.008) and resilience (β=.641, p<.001) influenced KT patient’s compliance. In conclusion, repeated studies of resilience should be introduced to prove its influence factors. Also, intervention strategies should be introduced to improve negative psychological reaction and develop an individual characteristics nursing program.
