The influence of some paratypical factors on the reproductive qualities of sows

Relevance. The live weight of pigs is closely related to the process of growth and development of their organism. It varies depending on the growth rate of animals, is determined by genetic factors and environmental conditions. The aim of the article is to study the influence of live weight and age on the productive qualities of sows.Methods. On the basis of FGUP "Kolos" of the Tsivilsky district of the Chuvash Republic, 50 sows of a Large white breed were evaluated according to a set of characteristics: exterior, development, live weight, productivity. To identify the rating of the sow, the instructions for pig bonitization were used. The pigs were fed according to the rations in accordance with the feeding standards.Results. According to the milk content, the difference between the first and fifth farrowing is 5.3 kg, according to the weight of the nest in 2 months — 16.6 kg. The mortality in the first and second farrowing was 11%, in the third — 10%, and in the fourth and fifth farrowing the livability was 96 and 95%. With an increase in prolificacy the milk yield and nest weight increase in 2 months, the difference between multiple births with 9 and 12 pigletsby the milk yield was 4.3 kg, by nest weight in 2 months — 25.1 kg. With an increase in the live weight of sowsincrease prolificacy , milk production, and nest weight in 30 days and in 2 months. The difference in prolificacy between the first and third groups was 1.8 heads, in milk production — 6.3 kg, in nest weight at 30 days — 9.31 kg, and at 2 months — 23.95 kg. In our studies, the cost of one newborn piglet of sows on 3rd, 4th, 5th farrowings and with a live weight of over 180 kg was 10–18% lower than of a piglet received from sows on 1st, 2nd farrowings and weighing up to 180 kg.

The article presents data on the use of the enzyme preparation Roxazim G2 G and the enzyme-probiotic preparation Vitacell in the composition of complete compound feeds for pregnant and lactating sows. The effect of feeding 0.25% of the dry matter of the diet of feed stimulants on the reproductive qualities of sows, on the dynamics of live weight and digestibility of nutrients was studied. According to the research results, it was revealed that these additives had a positive effect on metabolic processes in the body of sows, which in turn allowed to increase absolute and average daily gains, increase the digestibility of nutrients in the diet and reproductive functions.

Reproductive characteristics of pigs of Irish selection and manifestation of different forms of heterosis by different methods of breeding in modern conditions of industrial pork production

The manifestation of different forms of heterosis and its effect on the reproductive capacity of pigs of modern genotypes of Irish selection by different methods of breeding in domestic industrial production on breeding and commercial breeders LLC “SPE “Globinsky pig farm.” To compare the reproductive capacity of animals in purebred breeding, crossbreeding, and hybridization and their dependence on the manifestation of various forms of heterosis of potential and actual multiplicity, high fertility, and nest weight of piglets at birth and weaning, the number of weaned piglets per nest and their safety. A comprehensive assessment of the reproductive qualities of sows was determined using an evaluation index with a limited number of traits, and the selection index of reproductive qualities of sows was determined according to the proposed method. Heterosis indices were determined by V. T. Gorin and I. M. Nikitchenko and modified by O. M. Tserenyuk. Biometric processing of the obtained data was performed by using variation statistics using a personal computer software Microsoft Excel. It was found that the indicators of reproductive traits of sows of all experimental groups and combinations studied were characterized by high reproductive performance, except for purebred sows of the synthetic line Max Gro. Sows of large white and landrace breeds in their direct and reverse cross outperformed their purebred counterparts in birth by 2.8 % in terms of fertility, 2.2 % in terms of nest weight of piglets at birth, and 1.7 % in terms of high fertility. They weighed 4.1 % more piglets, weighed 1.3 % more weight, and 4.6 % the weight of the nest, while the preservation of piglets before weaning was not significantly different between animals of these groups. According to a comprehensive assessment of reproductive indicators, they were 2.8–3.3 % higher when crossing parent breeds than their purebred breeding. At the final stage of hybridization, the advantages of hybrid nests over purebreds (maternal form) during farrowing were established – by potential and actual fertility by 3.9 % and 2.2 %, respectively, by nest weight of piglets at birth and high fertility by 6.3%, and 6.8 %. When weaned, their preferences were – for the safety of piglets – 1.7–2.0 %, for the number of piglets, the weight of their nest, and the weight of one head when weaned by 5.7–6.5 % and 8.5 % and 4.2 %, respectively. According to a comprehensive assessment of sows using the SIVYAS index and the index of reproductive qualities of sows with a limited number of traits, an advantage of 3.9 % and 3.3 % of hybrid nests over purebreds was established. At the same time, sows in hybridization outperformed purebred analogs of the synthetic line Max Gro at the time of farrowing by potential and actual multiplicity by 34.2 % and 59.1 %, nest weight by nest weight of piglets at birth by 27.8 % but had a lower by 25.8, 8.0 % high fertility. At the time of weaning in hybrid nests, there were 54.1 % more piglets, 11.8 % higher live weight of 1 head, and 8.5 % live weight of nests of piglets, according to a comprehensive assessment of sows for SIVYAS and IVYa by 25.9 and 31.8 %, respectively, but they have a 4.6 % worse safety of piglets compared to analogs of the synthetic line Max Gro. There was a more pronounced effect of heterosis on such features as the number of piglets at weaning, live weight of the nest at weaning, SIVYAS and evaluation index, and moderate level of heterosis effect on the average weight of 1 head at weaning at 28 days and average daily gain of young for suckling period. Under the conditions of two-breed crossbreeding, an increase in reproductive indicators was found to a greater extent due to the manifestation of hypothetical and general forms of heterosis, while in hybridization, in most cases, specific and authentic heterosis was manifested.

Influence of technological factors on the reproductive performance of sows in an industrial breeder

The most important element of pork production technology is herd reproduction. Among all reproductive qualities of sows, the most important are prolificacy, heavy litter, and preservation of piglets during the suckling period. Therefore, the study of reproductive qualities of pigs is relevant to the theory and practice of pig breeding. The research was carried out under reproductive conditions in an industrial pig breeding complex. It is noted that the greatest increase in sows prolificacy is observed when the service-period is 21-28 days, i.e. when one heat is skipped, as compared to sows with a service-period of 1-7 days, i.e. without heat skipping. The highest farrowing rate was observed in groups of sows without heat skipping, but taking into account the prolificacy, the highest number of piglets was obtained in groups of sows with a service-period of 21-28 days - 33.35-34.70 animals. The survival rate of piglets in all groups of sows was 90.3%. Stillbirth rate was 0.85 heads per sow. Slight variations in this indicator from 0.79 to 0.95 were recorded depending on the service period of the sows. On average the crushed piglets amounted to 0.76 animals per nest. There were slight fluctuations from 0.73 to 0.79 depending on the service-period of the sows. Fetal mummification of fetuses was 0.37 per nest. It is noted that there is a tendency to increase the number of mummified fetuses with increasing service-period of sows. The number of mummified fetuses increases with increasing multiplicity of sows, which was observed in groups of sows with a service period of 21-28 and 45 days or more.

Signs of long-term adaptation and their relationship with the indicators of reproductive qualities in sows of the universal direction of productivity

The paper presents the results of the study of signs of long-term adaptation and indicators of reproductive qualities of sows of the universal direction of productivity, as well as calculates the economic efficiency of research results. The experimental part of the work was performed in the agricultural formations of the Dnipropetrovsk region and the laboratory of animal husbandry of the State Institution “Institute of Grain Crops of NAAS of Ukraine”. The work was performed in accordance with the research program № 31 “Genetic improvement of farm animals, their reproduction and conservation of biodiversity (Genetics, conservation, and reproduction of bioresources in animal husbandry)”, task – 31.02.01.18. pigs of different genotypes and to develop an integrated system for creating a highly productive population” (№ DR 0121U107903). Evaluation of sows on the indicators of long-term adaptation and reproductive qualities was carried out taking into account the following characteristics: life expectancy, months; duration of breeding use, months; farrowing was obtained; received piglets total, ch.; obtained live piglets, ch.; multiplicity, ch.; nest weight at the time of weaning at the age of 28 days, kg; safety of piglets before weaning, %. The index “level of adaptation” was calculated according to the method of Smirnov (2003), the index of reproductive qualities – according to the method of M. D. Berezovsky. Economic efficiency of research results and biometric processing of the obtained data were carried out according to generally accepted methods. It is established that sows of large white breeds of the controlled herd are characterized by rather high indicators of reproductive qualities and level of adaptation to conditions of intensive technology of operation. The life expectancy of sows in the main herd is 44.1 months, the duration of breeding use – 32.8 months, the index “level of adaptation” – 11.87 points. According to the indicators of fertility and nest weight at the time of weaning, the animals of the main herd belong to the first class and the elite class. Taking into account intra-breed differentiation according to the index “level of adaptation” sows of class M- significantly outperformed peers of class M+ in life expectancy by 54.77 %, duration of breeding use – by 71.48 %, index “level of adaptation” – by 66.09 %. Significant differences between groups of animals of these classes were found by multiplicity (td = 2.22; P < 0.05), nest weight at the time of weaning at the age of 28 days, kg (td = 2.56; P < 0.01) and index MD Berezovsky (td = 2.60; P < 0.01). The coefficients of pair correlation between traits that characterize the level of adaptation and reproductive qualities of sows range from -0.704 (tr = 10.80) to +0.982 (tr = 213.05). The use of sow class M- according to the index “level of adaptation” provides an increase in additional products at the level of +5.71 %, or 140.80 UAH. We propose to select repair young stock from sows of the leading group with the index “level of adaptation” of 6.55–8.08 points in the conditions of breeding plants and breeders, as well as industrial complexes.

The influence of biologically active preparations on the reproductive qualities of sows

The work concerns the study of the reproductive qualities of sows that received, in addition to the main diet, a biologically active preparation (LB-AAP) synthesized from brewer’s yeast waste. For this purpose, two groups of sows were formed, experimental and control ones containing 5 sows in each group. The preparation was administered in addition to the main diet 30 days before farrowing and 10 days after farrowing at 10 ml for each sow. It has been found out that the enrichment of rations for pregnant sows with a biologically active preparation (LB-AAP) allows an increase in the number of born piglets by 0.4 more than in the control group. There were 0.8–0.31 stillborn piglets in the experimental group or 1.0 less compared to the control group. Enrichment of the diets of sows 30 days before farrowing with a biologically active agent had a positive effect on the live weight of the litter at birth and on the 21st day. The average live weight of piglets in the litter of the experimental group was 0.85 kg higher than the average live weight of piglets in the litter of the control group. The average live weight of one piglet at birth in the experimental group was 1.7 kg, and in the control group was 1.4 kg, which is 0.3 kg less. Hematological and biochemical blood tests were studied at the beginning and at the end of the experiment, as well as the amino acid, macro and microelement composition of the preparation.

REPRODUCING QUALITIES OF SOWS OF DIFFERENT FAMILIES OF LARGE WHITE AND POLTAVA MEAT BREEDS IN THE TRIBAL HERDS OF PIGS OF KHMELNYCHINA

Goal. To assess the reproductive ability of inspected sows of different families of large white and Poltava meat breeds in breeding herds of Khmelnytsky region on the main selection signs using the evaluation indices of reproductive qualities. Methods. Comparison, zootechnical and biometric analyzes. Results. The reproductive qualities of sows of different families in breeding herds of pigs of large white and Poltava meat breeds of farms of Khmelnytsky region were evaluated. Among the families of large white breed, the best indicators for assessing the reproductive capacity of inspected sows were found in the family of the Sorceress, in which the main feature – fertility by modal class of distribution was 10.8 heads piglets per 1 farrowing, which is 2.8% more than the Taiga family of the same class. According to the modal class M+, the fertility of the Sorceress family (12.0 piglets per farrowing) was 0.3 heads higher than that of the females of this class of the Taiga family (11.7 heads per farrowing). The modal class М¯ of the firstborn family of the Sorceress was the best with a fertility of 9.7 heads, which is 3.2% higher than the Taiga family. Indicators of the number of piglets at weaning at the age of 30 days, the weight of the nest at weaning, the live weight of 1 head of piglets and preservation of offspring (9.5 heads; 94.1 kg; 9.9 kg; 87.9%), by class (М°), the Sorceress family was 3.2 heads bigger; 7.4 kg; 2.0 kg and 0.5% compared to the Taiga family. As a result of ranking sows by evaluation indices of reproductive qualities, I (evaluation index by a limited number of traits) and P (complex evaluation index) had an advantage by the most prolific sows of the Sorceress family of class M+, in which these indices were 43.0 and 96.1 points. In the process of research of reproductive ability of sows of Poltava meat breed of different families it was established that on the basis of fertility the Rosinka family is the best, whose fertility by distribution by class (М°) was 10.7 heads. piglets per 1 farrowing. It exceeds the average value for 5 families: 0.4 heads of Dorza and Vorskla families, 0.6 goals. Bystro's family and 1 goal. the Palm family. According to the modal class M+, the Rosinka family (11.8 piglets per 1 farrowing) has 0.3 heads more fertility than the Dorza and Vorskla families, 0.6 goals higher. and 0.1 heads than the Bistra and Palma families. The lowest fertility of sows in the class (М°) was recorded in the Dorza family (8.9 heads of piglets per farrowing). It should be noted that the Dorza family and the smallest Palma family in the M+ class have the best nest weight at weaning at the age of 45 days (138.7 and 144.2 kg), which is 18.6 more than in the М° class. and 20.7 kg. According to the indicators of the number of piglets at weaning and live weight of 1 head, the Palma's family of class M+ (10.6 heads and 13.6 kg) is distinguished. The best preservation of the offspring in the Palma's family of class M¯ = 94.7%. As a result of ranking sows of different families of Poltava meat breed according to the estimated indices of reproductive qualities, it was noted that the highest number of points in the modal class (М°) was obtained by the family Rosinka I = 40.8 and P = 94.8, which is more than the average for all families by 2.1 and 3.6 points. According to the evaluation indices (I) and (P), the best were sows of the Rosinka family of class M+, in which these indices corresponded to the values of 42.7 and 99.4 points.
 Conclusions. Among different families, the best results of assessing the reproductive capacity of sows on the main selection traits and evaluation indices were found in the families of the Sorceress of the Great White breed and the family of Rosinka of the Poltava meat breed, which should continue to be used for breeding in breeding herds of pigs. An important factor in increasing the productivity of sows, of course, should be the correct selection of the level of reproductive breeding traits and a significant increase in feeding and housing conditions.

Age dynamics of reproductive qualities of sows depending on the duration of the suckling period

The article studied the influence of sows' age on their reproductive qualities at the traditional - 28 days and shortened - 21 days duration of the suckling period. It was found that the total number of piglets born increased from the second reproductive cycle to the sixth inclusive. With the traditional duration of the suckling period, the most significant growth was observed during the third, fourth and fifth farrowing (8.0-8.6%), while with a reduced duration of the suckling period, it was significantly lower (3.8-4.9%). and lasted from the third to the fifth reproductive cycle. As sows' reproductive age increased, their fertility increased. Its highest growth in both terms of weaning of piglets was on the third farrowing and then gradually decreased. Sows with a reduced suckling period had a lower increase in fertility throughout reproductive life. The nest weight of piglets at birth increased until the third farrowing and then gradually decreased. With the traditional duration of the suckling period, the intensity of the increase in the nest weight of piglets born at the age of sows is higher compared to analogues in which the lactation period was reduced. Preservation of piglets in sows' nests deteriorated with increasing reproductive age. It worsened less intensely in sows with a reduced suckling period. The number of weaned piglets depended to a greater extent on the age of the sows and to a lesser extent on the length of the suckling period. From the third farrowing, it constantly decreases with increasing age of the sow, regardless of the length of the suckling period. The average weight of one piglet increases with the age of sows from the third farrowing, and its growth is more intense with a reduced duration of lactation. The increase in the weight of the nest of piglets at weaning is most significant for 3-5 farrowings, after which there was a decrease in this indicator for both periods of weaning piglets. A comprehensive assessment of the reproductive quality of sows using indices confirms the increase in sow productivity during the second - fourth reproductive cycle with a gradual decrease during the fifth to sixth farrowing, both in the traditional and reduced duration of the suckling period. It is proved that the sow age factor determines the probable influence on the number of piglets at weaning (9.43 %), their safety (5.56 %), the weight of the nest of piglets at weaning (1.87 %) and fertility (1.65 % ). While the suckling period factor affected the nest weight of piglets at weaning with a force of 28.49 %, the number of piglets at weaning with a force of 0.62 %, the safety of piglets before weaning at 0.19 % and did not affect the fertility of sows. Level of phenotypic consolidation and correlation analysis of reproductive qualities of sows of different breeding value

The results of research activities of reproductive qualities of sows of different breeding value are given, the level of their phenotypic consolidation is determined and the correlation analysis is carried out. The study was conducted in agricultural formations of Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy regions (LLC “AF “Renaissance”, research farm of the Institute of Agriculture of the Northeast NAAS of Ukraine, LLC “Druzhba – Kaznacheyivka”), livestock laboratory of the State Institution Institute of Grain Crops of NAAS of Ukraine and livestock laboratory economy of the North-East of NAAS of Ukraine. The work was performed according to the research program of NAAS of Ukraine № 30 “Innovative technologies of breeding, industrial and organic production of pig products” (“Pig breeding”). The object of the study were sows of large white breed. Indicators of reproductive qualities of animals of the specified production group were investigated taking into account the following quantitative signs: multiplicity, head; milk yield, kg, number of piglets at weaning, head; nest weight at the time of weaning at the age of 28 days, kg, safety, %. The BLUP index (maternal line) was calculated on the basis of the Main Breeding Center for Pig Breeding (Institute of Pig Breeding and AIP NAAS of Ukraine) according to the general model of a single animal. The index of alignment (homogeneity) of the sow's nest by live weight of piglets at the time of their birth, the index of reproductive qualities of the sow and the coefficients of phenotypic consolidation of the main quantitative traits were calculated according to the methods of V. I. Khalak (2012), M. D. Berezovsky (quoted from A. Vashchenko, 2019) and Yu. P. Polupan (1996, 2005), respectively. Biometric processing of research results was performed according to the methods of G. F. Lakin (1990). It was found that the maximum indicators of fertility, milk yield, number of piglets and nest weight at the time of weaning at the age of 28 days are characterized by sows of group I, in which the index BLUP (maternal line) is 109.78–128.75, the index of reproductive qualities (CPI) – 101.43–161.72 points. The correlation coefficients between the characteristics of reproductive qualities and integrated indicators are reliable and range from + 0.648 ± 0.0492 (index BLUP (maternal line) × milk yield) to + 0.984 ± 0.0086 (index of reproductive qualities (IRQ) × nest weight per weaning time at the age of 28 days). A high level of phenotypic consolidation on the basis of reproductive qualities of sows was found in animals of group II by milk yield (K1 = 0.561, K2 = 0.499) and nest weight at the time of weaning at the age of 28 days (K1 = 0.521, K2 = 0.472), peers of group I – by multiplicity (K1 = 0.315, K2 = 0.410) and the number of piglets at weaning (K1 = 0.296, K2 = 0.397). The calculation of economic efficiency of sows of different breeding value shows that the maximum increase in additional products was obtained from sows of group I, in which the index BLUP (maternal line) is 109.78–128.75, the index of reproductive qualities (IRQ) – 101.43–161, 72 points – +13.08 %, and its value is +332.08 UAH/head. These indicators of evaluation indices are a criterion for selecting high-yielding sows of large white breeds of controlled herds.

The article provides material on determining the influence of some technological factors and the genotype of pigs in the main herd on the reproductive qualities of sows. Analysis of the breeding campaign in IC 2 "Mirny" LLC "Bashkir Meat Company" for 2017-2019. showed that the number of cases during the analyzed period increased by 1.6%, incl. for the main queens - by 10.3%, and for the checked ones, on the contrary, decreased by 21.3%. In general, analyzing the productivity of the broodstock of SK 2 "Mirny" LLC "Bashkir Meat Company", it can be noted that in 2019 12256 farrows were received, of which 79.7% - from the main queens and 20.3% - from the checked sows. The average fertility of queens for the breeds raised was 15.0 heads, incl. in the main queens - 15.4 heads, in the tested queens - 13.4 heads. The greatest multiple (16.1 heads) was revealed in purebred breeding of the Yorkshire breed. The average large-sized piglets in the complex is 1.38 kg, the survival rate for weaning is 93.1%, and the yield of business piglets is 13.6 heads. It has been established that the reproductive qualities of sows are relatively stable throughout the year, which is associated with the maintenance of an optimal microclimate in the livestock premises of the pig complex. When receiving marketable fattening young stock, preference should be given to parental genotypes YxJ, YxL.

Composition of α-tocopheryl acetate with micellar nanocarriers and the possibility of its use as a biologically active additive

Based on the asymmetric diblock copolymer (DBC) poly(ethylene oxide)/polyacrylic acid, effective, biocompatible and biodegradable micellar carriers were obtained for the delivery of vitamin E analogue, α-tocopheryl acetate (α-TOCA), in living organisms. The monitoring of the stability of micellar structures of the block copolymer and its composition with α-TOCA over time, in a saline solution and when the pH of the solution changes, was carried out. The stability of DBC micelles over time at pH = 3.5, partial disaggregation of micelles at pH = 9 and an increase in their aggregation in physiological solution were shown. The high stability of the α-TOCA/DBC composition formed in situ in time in the range of pH=3.5-9 and a significant decrease in its solutions of salting out effects in the presence of NaCl were established. The thermodynamic parameters of the process of the micelle formation of the pure α-TOCA in water/ethanol solution (95/5 v/v) as well as the size and morphology of its micellar structures were determined by light scattering and TEM methods. The initial α-TOCA micelles in water/ethanol solution were stable over a wide pH range, but their stability was much lower and the sensitivity to the presence of NaCl was much higher than that of DBC micelles. The dialysis method revealed the gradual release of the drug from the micellar carrier through a semipermeable membrane into the surrounding aqueous and aqueous-saline media. However, the rate and efficiency of α-TOCA release from the DBC micelles in an aqueous medium were significantly lower compared to a similar process of drug release from the pure α-TOCA dispersion. Thus, a possibility of providing of long-term controlled release of α-TOCA in the living organism due to the use of DBC micelles has been proven. Based on in vivo tests of the biological action of the composition on pregnant sows, its high bioavailability, rapid absorption, active participation in metabolic processes and positive effect on the reproductive qualities of sows compared to pure α-TOCA, were displayed, which improves the safety and productivity of newborn piglets. EFFECT OF PROBIOTICS ON REPRODUCTION FUNCTION OF BREEDING SOWS

The results of studies on the effectiveness of use in the diets of pregnant and sucking sows probiotic based on bacteria Bacillus strains bacillus B. subtillus and B. amyloliquefaciens are presented. The use of the probiotic had a positive effect on the reproductive qualities of sows, which allowed increasing the milkiness of sows of the experimental group by 24.1% compared to the analogues of the control group. The comprehensive indicator of reproductive qualities of breeding sows of the experimental group were higher than in the control by 16.8 points. The weight of the piglet's nest at weaning was 18.7 kg more than in the control group. The safety of piglets in the control group was 86.9%, and in the experimental group it increased to 92.9%.

Signs of reproductive qualities of sows of different types of adaptation, their variability and correlation

The results of studies of life expectancy and breeding use, as well as the main indicators of reproductive qualities of sows of large white breed of different types of adaptation, the economic efficiency of the research results and the level of correlation between traits are calculated cost-effectiveness of research results and the level of correlation between traits. The research was conducted in the conditions of agro-formations of Dnipropetrovsk region (LTD “Agro-Elita”, SLTD “Druzhba-Kaznacheevka”). The object of the study was sows of large white breed. Evaluation of sows of experimental groups (I – superadaptive, II – mediumadaptive, III – minusadaptive type of adaptation) according to the indicators of the level of adaptation and the main indicators of reproductive qualities were carried out taking into account the successor of quantitative traits: life expectancy, months, duration of breeding use, months, farrowing received, piglets total, head; live pigs obtained, naked; multiplicity, head; weight of the nest at the time of weaning at the age of 28–35 days, kg; duration of intergrowth, days. The adaptation level index and the coefficient of productivity were calculated according to the method of Smirnov V. S. (2003) and Long T. E., Short T. H., Bates R. O (2003) respectively. The economic efficiency of the research results was calculated by according to the indicator “mass of the nest at the time of weaning at the age of 28–35 days, kg”. Analysis of the research results shows that sows of superadaptive type will outperform peers of the opposite class (minusadaptive type) in terms of adaptation level and reproductive capacity by 58.36 and 43.63 % respectively. The proportion of indicator “duration of breeding use, months” to the indicator “life expectancy, months” in animals of superadaptive type is 81.8 ± 0.76 %, minusadaptive – 54.1 ± 2.67 % (lim = 27.7 %; td = 10.00; P < 0.001). An integrated assessment of sow reproductive performance by the performance factor confirms the superiority of sows of the superadaptive type to this group of animal traits of other adaptation types. The paired correlation coefficients between adaptation level indices and reproductive traits in sows of different types of adaptation range from -0.815 (tr = 6.45; adaptation level index × obtained farrowing) to +0.995 (tr = 45.05; life expectancy × duration of tribal use). In order to accelerate the breeding process and create a high-yielding herd of pigs, we suggest that the leading group of sows select animals with an index of “adaptation level” of 6.55–8.90 points.

Analysis of the influence of genotypic and paratypical factors on reproductive qualities of sows of the Large White breed

The results of determining the validity and strength of the impact of paratypical (number and season of farrowing, year of birth) and genotypic (sow family) factors on the characteristics of sows’ reproductive qualities in the conditions of the breeding reproducer EE "DG im. 9 Sichnia”. As a result of determining the reliability of the influence of these factors by one-way ANOVA it has been found out that the year of birth and the ordinal number of farrowing significantly influence on the indicators of the number of piglets at birth, the number of piglets and the weight of the litter at weaning. At the same time, the average weight of one piglet during weaning was recorded by the significant influence of only genetic factors (sows family), and the influence of paratypical factors was not reliable, which indicates the possibility of effective selection by phenotype in improving this trait. The results of the analysis of variance also showed that under the conditions of EE “DG im. 9 Sichnia”no significant influence of the“ farrowing season ”factor was found on any of the studied traits of reproduced ability. The results obtained were used in the construction of linear BLUP models for the determination of breeding value on the grounds of reproductive qualities in the conditions of EE "DG im. 9 Sichnia”. Maximum indexes of the characteristics of reproductive ability recorded in the 2-3rd farrows, starting from the 4th farrow, all indexes begin to decline, especially this is noticeable for the trait "weight of the litter". In sows of 2017 year of birth, compared to 2015, there is a slightly smaller number of piglets and the weight of the litter at weaning (by 4.5-6.7 %), while the average weight of one weaned pig increased by 0.2 kg. This fact is explained first of all by rejecting sows - among the sows that were born earlier (in 2015), as a result of the breeding work, less productive sows were rejected, and only those with high parameters remained. The linear models which have been developed with scientifically-based parameters will be used at the next stage of the work in determining the breeding value of pigs in the EE “DG im. 9 Sichnia“. MONITORING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF INFORMATION RESOURCES IN PEDIGREE PIG BREEDING IN WESTERN SIBERIA

The paper summarizes the results of additional information resources of multidimensional statistical analysis resources on the basis of research carried out by the authors. For the large white breed the authors made the equations of multiple regression for the initial forecast of some lifetime parameters of sows, taking into account the obtained reliable values of correlation coefficients on the basis of development at the beginning of animal application. The obtained parameters of phenotypic correlations highlight the possibility of using dairy capacity and number of cows in the herd when weaning to predict the weight of the piglets’ nest aged 2 months within the limits of the corresponding (1, 3, 6) sows’ farrows. The results of using regression equation show that the next farrowing or lifetime productivity of a group of pigs can be estimated by means of several indicators of any farrowing. The article outlines that selection index inheritance coefficient calculated by the method of dispersion analysis of half-sibs according to male (fathers) was 0.41±0.04 (P<0.001). This confirms complex improvement of the the reproductive properties of herd sows by means of the index. This is proved by by the results of ranking the parameters of the investigated features after modeling of 50% of the selection. Similar modeling of dealing with the results related to assessment of fattening and meat qualities of young Kemerovo breed outlines a tendency, which is common for both reproductive qualities of sows and parameters of control fattening. When selecting according to one single feature, the authors observed the highest (lowest) parameters in comparison with the analyzed characteristics that were not subject to selection. However, the index selection prevailed in terms of the set of features.

EFFICIENCY OF INTRAUTERINE INSEMINATION IN BREEDING SOWS

Improving of fertility indicators and reproductive qualities of sows during artificial insemination in farms of different specializations is very topical issue. The introduction of artificial insemination of sows on breeding farms by the spermdoses of optimum volume, by the frozen-thawed and sex sperm requires the introduction of innovative reproductive technologies. The use of economical methods of artificial insemination of sows using a minimum number of sperm in a small volume of spermdose in order to achieve high rates of fertility and prolificacy was proven in numerous experiments of the authors. Significantly reduced spermdose may be sufficient if the sperm enters deep enough into the uterus. Vitality of sperm does not depend on the size of spermdose, but the best place for sperm to survive one oviducts where they keep the fertilizing capacity from 9 to 27 hours. So deep intrauterine insemination of sows improves conditions for sperm survival The aim was to study the feasibility and justification for widespread implementation in to production on breeding farms of intrauterine insemination of sows morder to increase their fertilization and prolificacy and to save the boar sperm with the highest index of breeding values. Experiments were conducted in terms of selection and genetic center of Agrofirm "Mig-Service-Agro" in Mykolaiv region. In the experiment used 65 sows of live weight of 280-320 kg wiht 2-4 farrowing were. Sows in sexual hunting were showed once daily in the morning using a boar-prober. Artificial insemination was performed twice: the first time - in the afternoon and at 14-16 p.m. The second time – in the morning of the next day at 9-10 am. For artificial insemination of sows were ed using experimental spermodes with volume of 40 ml which contained 1.5 billion of a Active sperm. For the dilution of sperm was used Durasperm - KRUUSE (Denmark) the period of sperm perpetuation is 5-7 days. To enter the were semen used catheters Magaplus S, (Spain) for intrauterine insemination of sows. Analysis shows that the period from weaning to insemination has significant difference comparing sows of large White breed with Landrace breed (p <0.001), with genotype sows F1 (p <0.01) and sows of the Duroc breed (p <0.05). For all selected 65 sows duration of suckling period, was estimated which averaged 32.2 days and the average time from weaning of pigs to their sexual inclination and the first intrauterine insemination 6.8 days that meets the physiological norm. After intrauterine insemination of sows of then 48 farrowed, which wich made for 73.9%. іncluding live 5 emergency farrow were obtained, representing 10.4% of all amount. Percentage of farrow is considered physiologically normal – 80%, or more of total insemined sows. The very low percentage of farrow 53.3% had of sows F1, and the highest percentage was found by sows of the Duroc breed – 85.7%. Pregnency of sows were received just 17, which made 26.1% and highest percentage – 46.7% was set by sows F1. Analysis of the pregnancy sows shows that on average it is 116.2 days was the longest – 117.1 days was set in Landrace breed sows and the short est 115.5 days in Large White breed, but the difference is not significant. 571 pigs were received, іncluding live 451 head, which is 78.9%. The largest percentage of іncluding live piglets obtained from sows F1 – 82.5%, and the lowest in Landrace breeds – 77.0% and Large White – 77.3%. Exit of all piglets per sow without emergency farrowings is 12.2, іncluding live – 9,8. The highest yield were obtained piglets from sows F1 – 13.1, іncluding live – 10.9, the lowest yield of sows of the Duroc breed – 10.6, іncluding live 9.1, which has significant difference compared with the control (IDPs) and other breeds. After intrauterine insemination 8 sows showed cyclic deregulation in 20-25 days, ie repeated sexual hunt took place on average 22.3 days. These sows were inseminated by not fractional way, they farrowed and an average litter just 13.1 piglets per sow, іncluding live - 11.3 was obtained. Repeating after intrauterine insemination on 45-48-49 day in the sexual hunt came about three sows for artificial insemination by not fractional method 3 farrowed and was obtained output – 13.3 piglets, іncluding live – 11.7. It should be noted that the best sow Large White breed №12 after intrauterine insemination bore 16 pigs, іncluding live 11, sow of Landrace breed №1556 – 18 pigs, іncluding live 12, Duroc №5888 – 13 pigs, іncluding live 11, sow F1 №167 – 20 pigs, іncluding live 14 pigs. Breeding requires more careful handling with major sows taking into account their breeding value and cost, that’s why we believe that there is no need to risk causing injury genitals with intrauterine insemination if a sufficient number of spermdoses of boars-sires exist.
