THE ROLE OF HINDU RELIGION TEACHERS IN CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES TO DEVELOP THE EXISTENCE OF RELIGIOUS MODERATION AT SD SARASWATI 6 DENPASAR

An exclusive attitude is a challenge for the plural and multicultural country of Indonesia. Overcoming these challenges, Hindu Religion teachers at Saraswati 6 Elementary School in Denpasar (SD Saraswati 6 Denpasar) play an active role in co-curricular activities to develop a moderate attitude in the school environment. This research then comes to identify specifically about the role of Hindu Religion teachers in co-curricular activities to develop the existence of religious moderation at SD Saraswati 6 Denpasar. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive naturalistic approach. Through the use of primary and secondary data sources, data collection methods that use observation techniques, interviews, and literature studies, the results of this study indicate that, the role of Hindu Religion teachers in co-curricular activities leads to the utilization of flag ceremony activities, religious ceremonies, and guidance and counseling activities to foster moderate attitudes. The results of this study aim to guide other teachers and schools in developing the existence of religious moderation in the world of education.

Pengaruh Penggunaan Al-Qur’an Digital Terhadap Intensitas Membaca Al-Qur’an Pada Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Agama Islam Angkatan 2021 IAIN Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung

This research is undermined by the fact that the ownership rate of the Qur'an among the students of Islamic Religion Education belonged to the high category of 60% of the total number of students in Islamic Religion Education in 2021. With the advancement of the era, technology has evolved rapidly and advanced, including the digital Qur'an that can be obtained on mobile phones, computers, and so on. He will be able to read the Qur'an in a way that will help him understand the truth. To find out whether the use of the digital Quran has an impact on the reading intensity of the Quran among the students of Islamic Religion Education 2021. This research is quantitative. Quantitative research is research that collects data and analyzes data in the form of numbers used to explain the results of research. In this study, 112 students were chosen at random using the Slovin formula. The analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive statistics and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that the reading intensity of the Quran among students in Islamic Religion Education falls into the middle category with a percentage of 68.8%. Besides, there is an influence between the variable of the use of the digital Quran and the variables of the reading intensification of the Qur’an in students of Islamic religion education in 2021. The thitung > ttable value of 2,592 > 1,9818 demonstrates this. From the summary model table, it can be concluded that the influence of free variables on the bound variables in this study is 0.058 and multiplied by 100% to obtain a result of 5.8%. It can be inferred that the use of digital Al-Qur’an influences the intensity of reading Al-Qur'an in prodi students of Islamic Religion Education in 2021 by a factor of 5.8%.

Analisis Strategi Pengembangan Bisnis pada Budidaya Ikan Cupang Hias Menurut Perspektif Ekonomi Islam

Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats all need to be identified when running a betta fish business. To address this need, SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis is used, which plays a key role in determining an organization's strategy. SWOT analysis is a systematic method for analyzing threats and opportunities to predict future environmental conditions and predict problems that may arise in the future. In conducting this research, we adopted qualitative research as a method. Qualitative research is a research method that explores detailed information in the form of interviews with betta fish farmers in Jambi and provides descriptive data. This study also produces data in the form of written and spoken words directly from people and behavior that can be observed. The strategy used in developing the ornamental Betta fish cultivation business in the research area uses the SO (Strength and Opportunities) strategy. This strategy uses the company's strengths to overcome threats. The SO strategy uses the company's internal strengths to avoid or reduce the impact of external threats. In an Islamic economic perspective, the process of determining development strategies for ornamental betta fish cultivation businesses must be based on Islamic law, such as not selling or producing prohibited goods, as well as being transparent in determining price. And the most important thing is that cultivators do not carry out actions that deviate from the teachings of the Islamic religion.

CHILDREN'S EDUCATION IN AN ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE BASED ON THE QUR'AN HADITH

Islamic education is an important activity for every Muslim parent if they want their child to become a pious child in their family. This is also the aim of a survey of Islamic education experts. Children's education must be based on Islam which comes from the Al-Qur'an and Hadith, especially regarding nurturing children's souls so that they become better souls in Islam and bring it. In this case, the writer's position here is as a researcher in the field directly to find out the extent to which Islamic education with the concept of the Koran hadith is implemented. And the author uses a descriptive method, meaning an effort to collect data and compile it, then analyze the data. Which aims to describe or explain current events and happenings considering that the type of research is qualitative, pure literature. In this research, we will discuss the concept of children's education according to Islamic views. Because Islam views newborn children as being in a clean condition, then from clean conditions and at the same time a good potential and environment, of course with these provisions the child can be grown and developed through the best possible education and teaching so that he becomes a complete human being in accordance with the expectations of Islamic education. . But if the influence of the environment (education) is not positive in the hadith above, namely the family, then the child deviates from his natural nature, and in the end he will tend to do bad things. In summary, a significant contribution to the final results of the research here will be how Islamic education is a teaching and learning process carried out consciously to form an Islamic personality, which is in harmony with the teachings of the Islamic religion. Systematically, Islamic education is the science of a number of educational concepts. As a whole, it is not limited to the method aspect only and is formulated through interpretation of revelation messages as a normative reference. The aspects of education in Islam include: religious education, moral education, intellectual education, physical education, social education, psychological education and sexual education.

The Influence Of Self-Control On The Academic Procrastination Behavior Of Al-Khoiriyah Islamic Middle School Students Living In Islamic Boarding Schools

As an educational institution, implementing all activities held by Islamic boarding schools is close to the teachings of the Islamic religion. Students who choose to live in Islamic boarding schools experience what is called academic procrastination behavior. Academic procrastination is a form of procrastination generally carried out in academic areas, such as assignments at school or assignments in study courses so it can be academic procrastination. Students' weak self-control causes academic procrastination. This research aims to determine how students' self-control influences the procrastination behavior of students at Al-Khoiriyah Islamic Middle School. In other words, this research wants to know whether the self-control variable is a variable that plays a positive or negative role in influencing academic procrastination. This type of research is causal-comparative. The population of this study was 122 students. Purposive sampling was used as a sampling technique in this study, with the criteria being junior high school students living in Islamic boarding schools, with a total of 66 students. Meanwhile, the self-control and academic procrastination scales were used as data collection methods to test the hypothesis using a simple regression test. From data processing, significant results were obtained at 0.000<0.05, with a regression coefficient of -0.342 and a value = 0.378. Equal to 37.8%, while other variables influence 61.5%. So, the results of this research show that self-control plays a significant role and negatively influences the academic procrastination behavior of Al-Khoiriyah Islamic Middle School students who live in Islamic boarding schools. Dampak Implementasi Pemenuhan Standar Nasional Pendidikan Terhadap Kualitas Pembelajaran

This study aims to 1) obtain a description of the fulfillment of national standards for teaching staff at Inpres Tewil Elementary School, 2) to describe the inhibiting factors in fulfilling the fulfillment of SNP standard teaching staff at SD Inpres Tewil. 3) to find out the efforts to overcome obstacles in fulfilling the SNP at SD Inpres Tewil. Qualitative research with descriptive method. The research instrument used was an interview guide, observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the evaluation of student learning. Data testing was carried out using data triangulation techniques. The data obtained was analyzed based on the following steps: 1) data collection, 2) reduction, 3) data display, and 4) verification and conclusion. The results showed that the National Education Compliance Standards, both teaching and educational staff, infrastructure, content standards and process standards did not fully meet the criteria according to the National Education Standards. Christian Religious Teachers because at SD Inpres Tewil there is only 1 teacher available, while the number of Christian students is 125 students, so teachers experience difficulties in guided learning, which has an impact on the quality of student learning for Christian Religion subjects in character building and faith growth in introduction to Jesus Christ. The obstacle faced by the SD Tewil Education and Culture Office is the lack of responsiveness by the East Halmahera Education and Culture Office in coordinating educators specifically for Christian Religion Teachers, Facilities and Infrastructure. The conclusion is that the school principal continues to coordinate with the East Halmahera Education and Culture Office in fulfilling teaching staff, as well as providing facilities and infrastructure. In addition, the education office also needs to pay attention to other standards, so that the quality of education at SD Inpres Tewil schools can be optimally achieved.

Effect Of Discipline And Motivation On The Performance Of Catholic Religious Education Teachers At The Office Of The Ministry Of Religion, Tana Toraja District

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an effect of discipline and motivation on the performance of Catholic religion teachers at the office of the Ministry of Religion in Tana Toraja Regency. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of discipline and motivation on the performance of Catholic religion teachers at the ministry of religion office in Tana Toraja district. This research is an associative type of research, and the location of this research is Jln. Pongtiku No.106, Pantan, District, North Makale, Tana Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi. The sample in this study was 32 people, with saturated sampling techniques. The data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection methods include questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used is quantitative. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression through the SPSS Version 29 application: f test (simultaneous), t test (partial). The test results that have been carried out from this study show that the results of multiple linear regression calculations obtained Y = 6.101 + 0.661 X1 + 0.772 X2. For the t test of the discipline variable (X1), t count (2.89)> t table (2.05), meaning that discipline partially affects performance. The t test of the motivation variable (X2) obtained a t count (2.57) > t table (2.05), meaning that motivation partially affects performance. for the f test, f count (10.78) > f table (3.33), meaning that there is a significant effect of discipline and motivation (simultaneously) on the performance of Catholic religion teachers at the office of the ministry of religion of the Tana Toraja district.

Celebrating Interfaith Rituals to Build Togetherness Between Children in Elementary Schools

This research aims to describe and interpret forms of interreligious rituals in primary schools. Researchers also look at children's religious expressions in practicing interreligious rituals and their contribution as learning resources in building a sense of togetherness in schools. This study uses a qualitative-phenomenological approach with data collection interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that children's religious rituals were taught in and outside the classroom. They practice with teachers of the same religion in class, but outside the classroom, they practice with students of other religions as spectators. Therefore, religious rituals that can be communicated socially are celebrated. Interreligious rituals do not make children and parents experience theological fear but can become a source of learning to recognize and respect other religious rituals. The ritual expression is an expression of harmony and togetherness because they can cooperate in celebrating their respective religious rituals.

The Problem of Knowledge and Cognition in Islam

The article considers the epistemological teaching of Islamic religion, various types of knowledge and position of Islam regarding the matters of faith and reasoning. The author of the article answers the question about admissibility of examining exegesis as an object of cognition and an outcome of development of cogitative activity. The article offers more flexible and liberal approach to the interpretation of notion of «ijtihad» and it is regarded as an attempt to revive the exploratory spirit of Islamic religion. The matter of faith is not introduced as an ultimate goal but as a mean of achieving success in religious life. “Is there any relation between the revelation of seventh century and emergence of empirical science?”, “Does the Quranic text foster the scientific research?”, “Is reality a rational comprehensible structure?” – these are the questions the author seeks to provide the answers.

Religious education in Catholic schools in Ireland and South Korea: complex layers of diversity, policy and teacher agency

ABSTRACT This paper explores and compares the experiences and perspectives of primary teachers regarding the teaching of religion in Catholic schools in Ireland and South Korea. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with ten teachers from each country. The findings highlight the contrasting perspectives of teachers from the two countries regarding the importance of and approach to religious education as a response to the challenges posed by pluralism. Teachers from Ireland predominantly exhibit a proactive approach, valuing diverse viewpoints and making efforts to engage in interreligious dialogue. Conversely, many teachers from South Korea demonstrate a deep appreciation for their own belief in God and prioritise the faith development of children. The comparative study highlights the importance of understanding teachers’ experiences and the ways in which they navigate the intersection of religious diversity, national policies, Catholic ethos, and their own personal faith perspectives. Our findings demonstrate the central role of teachers’ beliefs and future-oriented agency in the construction and implementation of religious education which does not always follow prescribed confessional or secular-neutral approaches.

Harmonisasi Antar Umat Beragama Dalam Negara Multi Agama Dalam Perspektif Al-Quran

Intolerance in the name of religion is still common in this country. Excessive religious fanaticism and lack of religious knowledge are among the contributing factors. Likewise, politics wrapped in religion is still often done by some politicians, which in turn causes rifts between nations. Therefore this article will discuss the harmonization of religious communities in multi-religious and ethnic countries in the perspective of the Koran by using interdisciplinary thematic interpretation methods. The results of the study concluded that the differences in religion and ethnicity were sunnatullah. In building harmony among religious communities, the Koran encourages fair and good relations between religious communities, makes friends, does not berate each other, does not impose certain religions, carry out the teachings of each other's religion and does not interfere with other people's religions.

The Relationship Between PAI Teacher Motivation and Student Learning

Education is a conscious and systematic work for students to actively acquire intelligence, skills, and adaptability. The Education Process can make students think and remember by Encouraging student creativity to create useful things If you support these student activities, you can develop the potential that exists in every student and can make a difference in knowledge, skills, and behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the motivation of PAI teachers and students' learning interest in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak Class VIII MTS Negeri 5 Sragen. This study uses the quantitative correlation method, a method aimed at finding relationships between at least two parts of the variable. The results of this study indicate that the correlation model of Islamic religion teacher motivation between students' learning interests and student learning outcomes in the Aqidah Akhlak subject is given by the correlation coefficient. r = 0.983 and the coefficient of determination is R = r2 = 0.967. Testing the significance of the correlation was determined by Tcount (37.8 ) > Ttable (1.675) with α = 0.05. This calculation shows that there is a relationship between the motivation of PAI teachers and student's interest in learning with the learning outcomes of Aqidah Akhlak class VIII MTS Negeri 5 Sragen.

Effectiveness of Psychoeducation Techniques and Guidance Counseling Services for Non-Guidance Counseling Primary Teachers

There is still limited availability of primary level school counselors, even though they play a significant role in helping primary level students grow and develop academically, socially, and emotionally. However, non-counseling teachers, such as homeroom teachers, religion teachers, and teachers of other subjects, also carry out the role of school counselors. Unfortunately, most of these teachers do not understand their ability to provide optimal counseling services. Therefore, this research aims to determine the effectiveness of psychoeducation in improving the understanding of non-counseling teachers regarding counseling guidance techniques and services. This quasi-experimental research with a one-group pre-test post-test design was conducted with 38 subjects selected using purposive sampling. The data analysis used the 1-tailed Wilcoxon test with JASP version 0.18.0. The results show that psychoeducation is effective in improving the understanding of counseling techniques and services among non-counseling teachers. The implications of this study can be useful for teachers, policymakers, and future researchers.

KETERAMPILAN GURU DALAM PENGELOLAAN KELAS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KATOLIK DI SMA KATOLIK 2 KABANJAHE

This thesis aims to find out the teacher's skills in class management to increase the activeness of student learning in Catholic Religious education subjects. The research method used by researchers is qualitative. Researchers used the results of observations, interviews, and documentation to observe and find out how the skills of teachers in class management increase students' active learning in Catholic Religion education at Kabanjahe 2 Catholic Senior High School. Informants in this research were Catholic religious education teachers as chritical informants, students as supporting informants, and peer teachers as additional informants. Catholic religious education teachers apply skills in classroom management where students are more active than before, starting from students who dare to ask questions, express opinions, and have group discussions. This can be seen from the average value of students' daily tests before the teacher applies skills in class management, namely 72. After the skills that the teacher makes in class management, the average value of students increases to 81 in cycle 1 and then increases again to 84 in cycle 2.

Ortaöğretim Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi Öğretim Programında Diğer Dinlerin Öğretimi

Global changes have increased the sensitivity of introducing religions other than Islam to the new generation in the world and in our country. For this reason, other religions and beliefs are included in the curricula of Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge (RCMK) courses in our country. In the curriculum of Secondary Education Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge (METKAB) course, there are acquisitions related to other religions that are expected to be acquired by students. In the literature review, it is seen that there is limited research on the place of teaching other religions in the education system, especially in the curriculum of ODKAB course. The aim of this study is to determine how other religions are included in the current ODKAB curriculum in terms of the overall curriculum, objectives, unit contents and outcomes. In the study, it was concluded that the current OCCKAB curriculum includes the teaching of religions other than Islam, and that the teaching of other religions is approached impartially, with a religious perspective and objectively, but there are deficiencies in terms of subject matter and achievements. Model Komunikasi Da’i dalam Meningkatkan Pengamalan Agama Muallaf Daerah Minoritas Desa Muzoi Kecamatan Lahewa Timur Kabupaten Nias Utara

This research aims to determine the communication model in increasing the practice of the religion of converts in the minority area of North Nias Regency and to find out the obstacles in the process of increasing the practice of the religion of converts in the minority area of North Nias Regency. This type of research is field research. In this research, I used a qualitative method, namely descriptive, by looking for actual and detailed data and information in a non-statistical manner. In data collection techniques, researchers used observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the communication model applied to improve the religious experience of converts in minority areas such as North Nias Regency is based on the principles of inclusiveness, continuous education and interfaith collaboration. The following are the components of this communication model: Open and Inclusive Dialogue, Continuous Religious Education, Use of Understandable Language, Social Media as a Communication Tool, Collaborative Interfaith Programs, Continuous Evaluation and Adjustment and Mentoring and Personal Support. In an effort to strengthen the religious experience of converts to Islam, the district has implemented various important steps. One of the main initiatives taken was the establishment of the Muallaf Empowerment Institute. This institution acts as a platform that provides comprehensive support to converts to Islam, especially in terms of assistance, training and guidance in understanding and implementing the teachings of the Islamic religion.

Religion Education and ‘weak’ Religious Education: Common Concerns

As a response to the increasing plurality of the student population, there have been several shifts in religious education over the past decades. After a brief sketch of these shifts, particular attention will be given to ‘weak’ religious education and to religion education. In order to do so, attention is amongst others given to the principle of neutrality and to several critiques on this concept. Subsequently, we will focus on several common concerns in religion education as well as in weak religious education: the need for religious literacy, the importance of (interreligious) dialogue, identity formation, and socialization. In order to comply with these concerns in differ­ent school types and in religion education as well as in (weak) religious education classes, the development of a common curriculum for religion and worldviews could be an interesting option. We will have a closer look at such a curriculum, which is at present in an advanced stage in the Netherlands, and which could inspire other nations as well.

Collaboration of Islamic and Christian Teachers in Implementing Religious Moderation Education

This article aims to reveal the collaboration of Islamic and Christian religious teachers in SMA/SMK in the Pantai Labu District. The method used is descriptive research with a field approach and data analysis named after Miles and Huberman. The research results found were [1]. The activity of combining students in one group to clean houses of worship, both mosques and churches, has been carried out by Islamic and Christian religious teachers. The target is of course to provide experience and habituation for students to do together in every social activity, [2]. If there are friends and parents of grieving students, Islamic and Christian religious teachers always combine Muslim and Christian students to attend the visit. [3]. If any of the students are experiencing grief, the Islamic and Christian religion teachers direct students to give their sincerity in collecting the finances that will be given to the grieving students without discriminating between race, ethnicity, and religion owned by each student. [4]. Familiarize students to support each other in completing the equipment needed for the activities of religious holidays. [5].Inviting each other to religious holidays. The implication of this article can be a guide for religious teachers in multicultural Education in their respective schools. It can open up space for thoughts if teachers are contaminated with narrow thinking.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Pada Mata Pelajaran PAK Di SMA Kota Palangka Raya

This research aims to describe the learning model used in the ongoing implementation of PAK. To demonstrate the roles of teachers and students in PAK learning using the project-based learning model. To implement the Project Based Learning model in the Catholic Religious Education subject at SMAN 1, 2, and 4 Palangka Raya. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive research with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis follows Miles and Hubermans three stages: Data Reduction, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing. The participants in this study are seven individuals, including four Catholic religion teachers and three Catholic students. The research was conducted in June and July at SMAN 1, 2, and 4 Palangka Raya, Palangka Raya City. This research concludes that Catholic Religious Education (PAK) teachers at SMAN 1, 2, and 4 Palangka Raya have implemented the project-based learning model, and the student informants have applied the PJBL model throughout their learning process at their respective schools. The collaboration between teachers and students in implementing the PJBL model fosters good communication and teamwork. These efforts help students develop a positive attitude toward their teachers and vice versa. Implementing the PJBL model provides a positive overview for students in Palangka Raya in the Catholic Religious Education subject, incorporating PJBL steps that aid critical thinking and nurture creativity. The attitude integrates technology, resulting in engaging materials such as graphic designs like posters, PPTs, and instructional videos.

Bureaucracy, Situation, Discrimination, and Elite in Islamic Education Perspective of Digital Era

The article is to find out the definition and system of good and correct bureaucracy from an Islamic education perspective in the Digital Era. To find out the definition and practice of discrimination as well as solutions to deal with discrimination from an Islamic education perspective. To find out the definition of elite in the Islamic view of the digital era. The researchers engage in synthesizing the gathered information and conducting a thorough analysis. It presents this literature review within a descriptive qualitative research framework, adopting a phenomenological approach, to extract insights that address the research question by first collecting data and then seeking understanding. The result show that Discrimination can be overcome by instilling the teachings of the Islamic religion (caliphate principles) into oneself by accepting the nature of humans as social creatures who must live side by side with other humans who have different personalities and characteristics. At the elite level of thinking, we observe a pragmatic approach as elites gravitate toward populist figures to boost their popularity. This behavior is often characterized as a form of currying favor with those in power. The resulting phenomenon has generated narratives that have become a source of political turmoil, leading to widespread unrest among the grassroots population.
